Pros: Great set-up! The staff worked with us to get us the room we needed and I have nothing negative to say about this hotel!
Cons: No, it was great!
Pros: Bed was incredibly comfortable!
Cons: Not a thing!
Pros: This was 2.5 stars and I had mediocre expectations. What we got was better than some four star establishments. Greeted by friendly staff. Room was spacious, clean, we had a microwave, refrigerator, and a kurieg coffee maker.
Pros: Great location. Clean room.
Cons: No. Everything was perfect.
Pros: Free breakfast and friendly staff
Cons: The shower head was not good at all

Cons: no great time
Pros: Clean. Bed is comfortable.
Pros: Wonderful staff anticipating needs - heard how excited kids were about pool and offered to find room closer (right across from pool entrance).
Cons: There was no heat in our room when we arrived in the evening. It was about 11:30 pm. The staff came and tried to reset it. We were able to move to a different room.
Pros: Overall very good, clean efficient good food choices for breakfast
Cons: Our room had a bright light outside the window that caused us rough sleep.217
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and our stay was very blessed.
Pros: Everything was great
Pros: friendly staff, location, clean and comfortable rooms
Pros: Location near to restaurants and Shopping. Good Breakfast variety.
Pros: The breakfast.
Pros: Friendly staff and cleanliness over all.
Pros: Location was convenient to the highway
Cons: Our bathroom facilities were somewhat rundown, however it was clean but the jet tub and malfunctioning Jets and did not function correctly . I think if this feature is part of the advertised room, then it should be working correctly
Pros: Clean room,great breakfasr,courteous staff
Pros: Clean, good price, well located, helpful staff.
Cons: One thing, but it's a big one: The Bed. My wife and I could hardly sleep in it! Way to hard. We were sore the next morning and had difficulty getting any sleep at all. Had to get up and periodically walk around at night. Need some new quality mattres
The mattress could stand improvement...yet, I rested somewhat comfortably
Pros: Loved the setting and the grounds the most. From our greeting with a glass of champagne (peach tea was also an option) to the fascinating bunker tour to a lazy afternoon by the infinity pool to a morning run around on a path circling the grounds to bowling and shuffleboard to the charming artist colony shops to our morning coffee on a beautiful terrace, we made the most of the Greenbrier. A two night stay suited us well and gave us time to explore and enjoy the property. Lots of beauty in the surrounding area, but you can also just enjoy not going anywhere else while you're there.
Cons: Lots of dining options, but we found them to be overpriced and the service was slow. Just remember to factor that into your budget. Also lots of cool activity options, but most of them were at an extra cost that was prohibitive for us.
Pros: Having been around in one form or another for almost 200 years makes The Greenbrier feel permanent (in a good way), but also let's you step back in time to gentility, southern charm, bold florals, cold war bunker, towering oaks and mountains. Dorothy Draper's froufrou florals are part and parcel of The Greenbrier, and part of stepping back in time. Service is wonderful, friendly and attentive. Rooms are large and comfortable.
Cons: The Forum Italian restaurant needs to improve its cooking. Chicken piccata was thick and oily. Service from the kitchen was very slow, though our wait staff was delightful. And the Hostess had a sour attitude, as if she were doing us a favor by honoring our reservation, and selecting a table.

Pros: Close to town of Lewisburg and other attractions.
Cons: The room we were given was too far from the office and smelled musty also bathroom floor had stains and was not cleaned properly otherwise all else was okay.
Pros: Breakfast was included
Cons: Yes, it was really a MOTEL with all rooms facing the parking lot. Would not have stayed here if we realized this beforehand.
Pros: The free breakfast is excellent. The room, while plain, is neat and clean.
Cons: The shower was odd. The water sprayed out in a very wide circle, so you couldn't find a good place to rinse off your soap/shampoo.
Pros: Close from school. Breakfast was ok
Cons: Price was too high
Pros: Room was nice. Clean.
Cons: Bed was way TOO firm. Hard and uncomfortable.
Cons: The room itself was acceptable, but with no uncertainty, this hotel should NEVER have been included in the list of hotels in this star rating, with Hampton Inn, Fairfield Inn and Suites, and Holiday Inn Express.
Cons: should be 1 to 2 star at best...
Pros: large clean rooms, updated bedding
Cons: exterior entrances, but was v quiet on second floor!
Pros: The price was nice.
Cons: Rooms had a bit of an odor. Decorations were dated. Desks in both rooms were not sturdy.
Pros: We arrived late. Desk clerk was very cheerful and helpful. Explained breakfast hours and gave us great directions to our room. Breakfast was great. Nice large room and staff very friendly and complimentary of my waffle making!
Cons: The room had a terrible odor. The carpet was so filthy that walking from the bedroom to the bathroom my feet were black. I have pictures of the washcloth from that and just wiping the floor. Doctor visit today because of bedbug bites. Refund?
Pros: The only thing we liked was the price and the breakfast
Cons: The room was pretty nasty; I know it's a cheap hotel but it doesn't cost much to clean the room.
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: We had reserved 3 rooms with queen beds and a sofa...none of these rooms had it. We were traveling with 6 adults and 6 children and needed the sofa for the smaller children, so had to take a couple of children into the grandparents room...very inconvenient.
Breakfast was 4 waffles...that was it! Really couldn't have fed 2 people. Staff know at 7:00 but didn't go to the store for more until after 8:15...really only 3/4 hour left then.
Sheets did not fit beds either.
Pros: They were happy to work with me and offered more help than I needed.
Cons: Hiway workers staying on upper level were a little loud at first, kept me concerned about my kid if he were to wander...
Pros: This place is definitely not the Greenbriar, but provides good value for money. Clean and functional. The facilities are dated, but it has all of the essentials. Clean, big bed, tv, fridge, AC, etc. The staff was very helpful.
Cons: The place is a little old and could use a makeover, but then it wouldn't be so inexpensive. Just be aware what you are getting into here and don't expect luxury.
Cons: Bathroom was filthy, mold on ceiling, floor was obviously dirty, door didn't close fully, worse mattress I've ever sat on, we left after 20 mins and found another hotel, do not stay here
Pros: Clean Room, conveniently in Lewisburg, and very reasonable rate.
We'll be back next year.
Pros: Polite and accomadating staff. Great price. Close to 64, walking distance to fair.
Cons: Room was disgusting. Dirty linens, filthy laminate floors (I would not walk barefoot in the room). I was more weary sleeping here than in hostels in NYC. I stepped outside around 8pm and there was a severely intoxicated and disheveled man wandering around the area in front of my room.
Cons: Very outdated. Wallpaper was peeling every where. Beds were small and uncomfortable.
Cons: Yes .No light over the vanity, bed not being made during the day ,one towel and one wash cloth ,did not clean the bath room daily , remote did not work ,no safety lock ,and unfriendly .Broken hair dryer .
Pros: It was clean and close to where we needed to be. However, other hotels were actually closer and better suited for our needs. Bad choice.
Cons: Yes, the hotel is very run down. It was poorly lit after dark initially. Staff was not that friendly. Price is certainly too high for hotel condition. Beds were not comfortable. Didn't want to sleep in the sheets. Bath is very small. Not recommended.
Pros: Room close to parking
Cons: Staff was not friendly. No toiletries in room except for a tiny soap. Sheet so thin you could see through it to pad. The price for this room is too high.
Pros: Room available on short notice.
Cons: Holes in bed linens, stains on sheets, light over sink not working, high price for quality of the facility. No breakfast.
Pros: The only good thing about this hotel was that it was close to where we needed to be.
Cons: This hotel had astronomical prices for the quality it was. It was not clean. We purchased sheets just to feel comfortable sleeping there. The wifi would not always work. You can hear traffic from the interstate as well as other guests. Overall, very poor.
Pros: Clean, convenient, good price. Beds ok, yet not real comfortable. Mattresses looked newer. We would stay again on our way to Snowshoe.
Pros: it had functionality fridge beds microwave lamps table and chairs cable tv older but clean
Cons: price was high for what it is
Pros: location. quiet, price.
Pros: it was an older motel but it was clean and quiet. The AC worked, TV worked, and wifi was surprisingly fast
Cons: the bed could have been more comfortable (wasn't too bad, just seemed old). no iron or ironing board.
Pros: Easy access from the freeway, clean room, Cable TV, refrigerator and microwave provided. Free wifi.
Cons: The room felt a little worn at the edges. Wallpaper was peeling in places, small rust stain in sink. Towels were small and rough. The AC thermostat was inaccurate, I had to set it on 61 degrees to maintain approximately 70 degrees.
