I thought it was a very cozy hotel. Very good location as we stayed there overnight after going to see Cinderella at Bass Hall. Very nice food options around the area and the accommodations were nice.
Staff were 'Texas-friendly' and had helpful tips for the out-of-towner. The hotel is well located in downtown Fort Worth and very easy to use. It is not so much a problem for the FW Hilton rather Fort Worth downtown is quiet on a Sunday and public transport not a strong feature of the city. Visitors should plan for private car use (hire) and parking costs factored in their travel plans.
Homely environment. Very pleasing staff always there to help you.Meals were served without undue delay. The rooms were clean and tidied every day. None
Everything was great after they finally sent a tech that knew what he was doing to fix the AC! Good hotel, I will give it another try when I'm back in Cowtown !
Historic, yet updated hotel in awesome Downtown location. The price is considerably better than other comparable 4 star downtown hotels. Clean, easy check in, fast valet.
Pool area nice and good view of fort worth. Internet use in reception area useful and local tourist information leaflets helpful. The hotel was rather run down, dated decor and dirty public areas. Rooms tatty and dark.
The breakfast was good and that was it. Don't stay here. The service was terrible the manager would not call me back. The sink didn't work in my room. The shower was not very clean. No comforters on the bed but the bed was fairly comfortable other than no comforter.
Breakfast buffet and convenient location. slow hotel staff response
The staff were helpful, it was a convenient location and it was good to have a buffet breakfast included in the room price - making the hotel excellent value for money. The bedding and bathroom were clean, although the hotel fabric and decor were quite shabby. It wasn't plush , but clean enough and ideal for my budget Only minor niggles - there was no bin in my room, plus the coffee percolator didn't work.
Yes I did. The hotel was a very convenient location to the Convention Center and provide ample parking. Hallways could have been cleaner.
This is a mediocre hotel less 3 miles from downtown it has good showers and excellent beds the room is decent with stained but clean carpets. The prices is great and breakfast is included with biscuits and sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage and Belgian waffles with cereals and assorted juices, milk and coffee. The staff is courteous and helpful The hotel is a little old but easily overlooked at the price and the is some construction going on, the pool is well maintained but outdoors the hot tub was clean but a little on the cool side and there are a few homeless people that I saw in the area.
it was located near down town where we spent most every evening hanging out. found baby roaches in our restroom when we got home one night.
clean and comfy I paid through kayak then they charged me again when they swiped my card upon check in. Took over a week to resolve.
Service was awful. They didn't have our reservations and had to wait an hour to get reassigned. Rooms were not set up or clean. Hallways were filthy and disgusting filled with trash and dried vomit on the carpet. No sports bar as stated on website because of liquor license problems with new management. Had to get our own towels because our room wasn't cleaned by housekeeping. The showers were cold and ran out of hot water. Had to change rooms twice because there was powder on the floor, bathroom wasn't cleaned and no towels. We had reserved 7 rooms for a family reunion and they placed us all over the hotel. There was no security because the doors were left open so the homeless were able to beg for food and money. One building smelled like marajuana the whole time. Do not stay here it is not with the money or your sanity.
Terrible The sink was broken. No comforters on the bed. The manager will not call me back. Mold in the bath tub.
My room had several roaches running around, restroom, blankets .. it's suck. If I would of paid $30 ,I would understand, but for 80 you expect a clean room The roaches,
Not in Sundance Square as advertised
Cleanliness, location, and comfort Concierge staff were good, not great. Hotel was too crowded and loud.
As always our stay was very satisfying. We love this hotel and it's amenities. The staff are excellent and the guest services, pool, bars and restaurants top notch. Though all of this satisfaction does not come for free. We look forward to our next stay in September. If you are a select guest member make sure to book your stay directly with the hotel. If you book through a third party you cannot cancel your reservation or receive credit for your stay.
Right in the thick of a pleasant downtown. All staff encountered friendly and effective. Comfortable room with great view of downtown (our side of the hotel). Expansive lobby. Nothing
I arrived to hotel at 10pm my room was prepaid but they gave it away they sent me clear down the other end of the city I was looking forward to being right there in middle of sundance square to comf walk to various places. They paid for all accommodations but it still was not what I had set up to do.
Water Preasue in the shower very low. TV did not work all the time. Had to pay for Internet.
I had a screaming headache one of the nights at around midnight, the staff offered to open the small store when I asked if there was anywhere in the area to get some advil. Everyone we encountered was nice, and helpful. The breakfast though great was pricey if you are not a big eater. Also, I did not know parking was additional.
The location downtown Fort Worth so we could attend Main Street Arts Festival and have easy access to our room. Due to dietary needs I must carry certain foods and it would have been easier to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room.
The location is perfect! Close to everything! We were able to walk to the water gardens just fine. Room service wasn't very good. The potatoes were gross and they kept messing up our order.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Our valet had a great sense of humor, the staff personally greeted us as we walked through the door and we were on our way to our room in less than 2 minutes. The facilities were incredible w/ an awesome fitness facility, and outdoor tennis & basketball courts. They provided necessary equipment. Excellent location for families! We walked everywhere in Sundance Square which was extremely family friendly. If we ever go back to Ft. Worth, this is where we want to stay! That we had to leave after just 1 day!
Service was great and attentive. Everyone was very helpful. The bed is hard as a rock. Walls are thin. Room decor is dated.
It was very clean. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The bed was amazing! Could not use the hot tub. There was a family of 12 in it. Including babies.
I am a native of Fort Worth and was in town for one night. This hotel is awful. I stay in hotels more than 100 nights per year. The hotel promised a king bed and had none. The insolent woman at the counter did not care. I placed the breakfast menu on the door and no one collected it. This pretentious hotel was once a destination. It is now poorly managed with an insulting staff. Ed Bass deserved better as a centerpiece of Sundance. I will never stay there again and warn others.
The staff is extremely helpful and efficient
The location was excellent because you can walk anywhere you want to go in Sundance Square. Staff was excellent. Sent chocolate for my friend's birthday. No hair dryers.
Everything I needed to get to was withing easy walking distance. Room service was fast when a request was made. The Manager's Reception was great and breakfast was fantastic! Not one complaint.
The location of the hotel to the downtown area, within walking distance of shopping, dinning and night life. The only parking available is through the Valey Service which adds a cost to the Hotel Rate. If you do not use the Valey then parking is either on the street which is very limited or a public parking garage that is 4 blocks away.
It was convenient for the event we were attending at the convention center Room was extremely hot. When asked at the desk if they had a fan I could use they told me there were some in housekeeping but they couldn't let me use them. They told me room would cool off. I left air running full time all the time I was there and in addition I went and bought a fan and room did not cool off until late into the night the second night.
The bed was very comfortable and good situation... but be ready for the traffic jam if driving east in 820. Overtime... great bar to stop over. It was marginal talking about cleaness and comfortableness.
Location Pool/hot tub out of order. Stayed 2 nights was told that it would fixed the next day...was not. Not clean. Did not replenish breakfast items or juice. Did not clean tables. No soap in bathroom. Staff not very professional.
the staff was extremely helpful the drawer of the dressers were falling apart
Convenient & Clean. Staff very courteous. Breakfast bar a little lacking, but otherwise excellent for budget!
Comfy beds, pool Elevator down
Best range of breakfast items I've ever seen. Fun area surrounding hotel with nightlife and stuff for family during the day. A bit remote from the rest of the city if that's important to you.
Our son got married in a venue at the stockyard. They rented the John Wayne suit. My daugher-in law needed 6 champagne glasses not only did they provide them they included 2. Bottles of champagne
Location movie prices
The property is clean, well maintained, and well staffed. A shuttle can take you to local attractions. The free breakfast is perfect, and even the coffee is good. I will stay here again.
Courtesy of staff, good sized rooms, free shuttle to the city center
Accommodations, staff, even breakfast was good While technically downtown you would not want to walk basically need to take cab or shuttle, which was great!
Beds were comfortable and the price was great!
Convenient location in relation to the Ft. Worth Convention center. Door to each room faces outside; being downtown this is somewhat risky and also exposes you to consistent obnoxious noises through all hours of the night. Make sure and bring ear plugs. Free wi fi is intermittent at best. Bring a cat 5 cable with you.
The rate. 1. Bugs/roaches 2. Internet was not active 3. Outlets were not accessible 4. Hot water facet in the tub would not turn off 5. Not clean and dated.
It is very close to the convention center. Only two out of four lights worked, plus many of the lights were burned out outside. The door looked like it had been kicked in before. No pools, still. Plus one night there was no one at the desk, just a sign that said sorry no one is available. Only one ice machine on the fifth floor worked.
Location All other things then hotel location
Check in less than five minutes. Extra pillows.
I liked the very friendly staff and the pool. It would've been more convenient to have two queen beds as a suite with sofa bed. Also, our bathtub did not drain well and bathroom door was difficult to lock. I will not stay here again due to the fact that there is not a continental free breakfast. With a family with 3 children, It was more expensive to eat at the hotel
Tammy was very helpful Room 104 although billed as a non-smoking room, had a strong tobacco odor, it needs to be deodorized, when I arrived at the hotel the manager had cancelled my reservation and the clerk didn't know why, neither booking.com nor I was informed, or was there any attempt to inform us, I think it was because my credit card number had change,
They have a shuttle that will take you within a 5 mile range of hotel. That was great for a group that may want to go to different places.
Location and they run a shuttle to local restaurants and night clubs. Also, Booking.com went to bat for me to insure that we had the type of room we booked. Night desk clerk did not input our request for a morning wake up call.
The general manager was very nice and the free shuttle service was extremely useful. Breakfast was nice and other amenities were good. Morning desk staff were not overly accommodating. Often felt like I was inconveniencing them with questions I would ask.
Good location for quick access to the stockyards. There is a stronger smell than the last time I visited that makes me wonder if it is a cultural difference or if there is worse odor being covered up.
Very convenient location next to stockyards. Excellent free shuttle service to anything in 5 mile radius. Room was clean and the breakfast was good.
Right next to convention center Rooms are sorely in need of renovation. There was a notice in the room saying they were in the process of updating, but I the price paid was not worth what I got considering the age of the room.
stayed in 521. rooms show their use and age. large TV in front of dresser mirror; mirror is now useless - get rid of it. bathtub drain needs to be cleaned out - doesn't drain easily. hotel shuttle doesn't take you to cultural district or stockyard area - not very useful. cleaners and rest of staff are friendly. could use a concierge who can give knowledgeable suggestions for restaurants - a handout sheet doesn't quite cut it.
Location is perfect for date night! Sun dance square is next door!
The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast seemed overpriced.
I enjoyed the room service. The spa was so good that I had three services done. I only had trouble because they didn't recieve the booking from bookings.com. They fit me in because they were very nice. I would like to have an appology from booking.com.
Calling for the airport shuttle was a disaster! When I called for a pickup they said 20 minutes. An hour and 2 more calls later they arrived. This was 8PM on a Sunday, not busy! I scheduled a van back to the airport the next morning when I arrived that night. It leaves every half hour. I needed to be there 20min after the hour and they told me that it would take 10 min to get there. The next morning it took over 30 min to get to the airport as we had to drive around Dallas delivering other poeple. Rooms were nice and clean. Not really any place to buy anything you might need exept for a "closet" behind the front desk. Restaurant/bar clean but plain. the night staff was a bit "rough" but nice and helpful. Food and drink was good for dinner and breakfast.
The place was very clean, rooms nice, not too beat up. This is an Airport hotel, not a luxury resort, you know what to expect. One thing you expect is a shuttle to the airport! I was told in the morning I could not get on the shuttle I had booked the night before. I'm not flying to LA mind you.... I'm flying to Tokyo! On my own dime! I'm not going to miss that flight!.... So I call a cab. No offers to pay for it. Nothing. Sayonara! The cabbie even tells me they should help me out. Nada... Oh yeah, I had to pay for breakfast.

Very nice room and bath. The hallways and elevator were shabby. The morning breakfast was adequate but the hot food was not hot.
Clean and a/c great. Ice machines on all 3 floors did not work not good
Had a none smoking room that was definitely smoked in, staff was quick to put us in another room and it was fine. Bathroom door did not close.
This was more than a 2 Star in my opinion. It was clean and comfortable. I slept well. Breakfast was good. I found out that it is famy owned. They were very kind to me. I will be coming back to Ft. Worth in the near future & will book my stay there again. No complaints.
Price and the manager was very hpful The control on the air conditioner was broke I had to use me pocket knife to change the temp.
It was a good location for where we were going. The room was musty and smelled like smoke. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable.
Location was nice and had cable TV. Big room but only one bed. AC was broken, but they did switch our room free of charge.
The hotel was fine, staff was good, and bed was great. There was some road construction on major highways and we didn't like having to deal with that, but it's Texas, there's always road construction.
Cleanliness When booking online, it states check out is at 12. When I arrived to the hotel check out was earlier than that.
Please keep guests informed of the pool being closed and open. This location was picked due to it having a pool.
The evening staff was polite. The check in was quick. It took less than 5 minutes. The room at a quick glance minus the bathroom was clean and neat. It was 8:30 when I arrived and the pool was closed. The gym was neat and clean but the TV was Disney channel. The continental breakfast had a great variety to choose from. I forgot an item in the hotel. The staff went right away to retrieve it. Vending machines were well stocked. The door to my room was open and the lights were off.I had to check to make sure I was alone before any of my family went in. The bath room had mold in the corner of the shower. It was the size of a half dollar. The shower curtain where moldy smelling. There coffee set up was in the bathroom and the pot needed cleaning. There was no ice bucket.and the trash can had no liner. Called the front desk, took a long time for them to answer. Asked for a wake up call because the alarm clock in the room did not work. After confirming with front desk, I did not get a call from them. I was almost late for my meeting.Took forever to checkout. I think the morning staff was training this person.
Was clean and well located for my needs. The only complaint is that if you are staying on the side of the disco or nightclub that is across the road it is noisy at night. Also,I would change the floors to laminate and get rid of the carpets.
Rooms were big, comfortable bed Noisy highway outside
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is a food service the hotel hired in lieu of traditional room service. It is DISGUSTING to the the point of being inedible. Tread with caution and please look for other food options!
Location to attractions such as the botanical gardens, park system, museums and the stockyards was fantastic all within a short drive. Arrived a day early at midnight. They adjusted for us so that we could stay in the same room for the entire stay. Parking was tight as others have described something was always available. Black Friday maid service never happened but for the other days in our stay it was as anticipated or announced. They were still doing some repair / paint work but only a minor inconvenience.
Room was comfortable and in perfect location for walking Trinity Park, restaurants, and night life. Not a thing!
The pool was very clean and never cold, area around the pool was clean with outdoor music a nice touch. The staff was friendly and nice. Parking lot well lit and clean. Evening social a great idea with complimentary wine and beer with a light meal/snack. Never had to wait long for the elevator. In our King suite, layout of bathroom was odd and close to the bed. Refrigerator door opened from odd side. Food provided at breakfast slowly refilled. At evening social: Beer was not in plain sight. Wine was warm. Food was refilled slowly. Girls serving wine and food were very friendly and pleasant but they visited more with each other than prepare/serve food/wine.
The breakfast was good. i was impressed. When I opened the refrigerator I found a cup of berries left over from breakfast that was not cleaned out. The trash was not emptied and had a bag of popcorn in another trash can. Parking is a problem. The parking lot is not big enough for the hotel. The TV in the bedroom was so low you couldn't watch TV from the bed. The TV in the living room was so height it was like sitting on the front row of a movie theater.
I came in by taxi from the airport late Sunday evening. So I was pleased to find Dennys right next door. Also, my room had a nice fresh smell. It was a little cool for a swim in the pool since it wasn't indoor. Outdoor pools tend to look more refreshing and clean outdoors but they are seasonal.
We liked the spacious room with two comfortable beds. We loved the breakfast offered and the amenities available. They were very friendly and helpful. Noy much of a view, but comfort is better.
The staff was awesome!
