Get ready for quintessential Fort Worth vibes at the Omni. From the upscale cowboy-chic décor to the on-site dining that includes a 22-ounce ‘cote de boeuf’ (a prime bone-in ribeye), this is Cowtown lodging at its finest.

Travelers seeking R&R are in for a treat at the on-site Mokara Spa. This state-of-the-art spa facility offers luxurious face and body treatments; it’s always worth checking to see what their specials are (I’m still thinking about the Champagne Mimosa Massage I had several months ago).
Accommodations-wise, expect plush bedding and top-of-the-line amenities; book a suite with a balcony overlooking the Cultural District for an extra-special stay.

The rooftop pool opens at 6 am – stake out a spot early, before the crowds drift in, especially if it’s a weekend. There’s also a seasonal bar stocked with tasty light bites and cold beverages.

No list of the best hotels in Fort Worth is complete without the Crescent. Situated squarely in the Cultural District (the Kimbell Art Museum and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth are right across the street), this new hotel boasts bespoke amenities you won’t find elsewhere, including, most notably, a world-class art collection that consists of 24 original works.

The Crescent’s on-site dining is stellar – if you fancy yourself a foodie, hotfoot it to Emilia’s, whose Mediterranean-inspired menu includes fresh seafood, locally-sourced meats, housemade pastas, and veggie-centric dishes.

The Circle Bar feels more like a lively (impeccably decorated) living room; pair your ‘Social Hour’ cocktail with fresh oysters or parmesan fries. And, as you might expect from a hotel of this caliber, the rooms are luxuriously appointed in every way, with marble accents, custom artwork, and signature robes and slippers.

The Kimpton Harper Hotel is known for being one of the best hotels in Fort Worth for its historic property – it’s housed in the century-old Farmers and Mechanics National Bank Building – and its sumptuous amenities.

Each suite features a soaking tub inside a large shower area, Atelier Bloem bath amenities, Frette bedding, a plush bathrobe, and savvy technology (think Bluetooth speakers and a smart TV).

Don’t miss the daily complimentary wine/cocktail happy hour or drinks on the 24th floor at Refinery 714, where you’ll enjoy awesome city views. Other thoughtful amenities and services include bike rentals, same-day dry cleaning and laundry, yoga mats and a lobby coffee bar.

Perhaps best of all, at the Kimpton Harper you’ll immediately feel transported to a peaceful oasis, far from the hustle and bustle of Fort Worth, despite the hotel being in the heart of downtown.

The Ashton’s charming boutique style and excellent location set it apart from the other best hotels in Fort Worth. Housed in a renovated building on the National Register of Historic Places, right next to Sundance Square, this hotel is near plenty of walkable options for dining and drinking.

That said, you may have a hard time leaving, as I did when I first visited. Everything at the Ashton is designed to make you feel at home, from the personalized concierge team to the Saturday afternoon tea complete with a variety of teas and pastries, shortbread, sandwiches, and fresh fruit preserves.

I also loved socializing at the complimentary wine hour (held on Friday and Saturday evenings). The rooms are exceptionally furnished, with custom-designed dressers, cobalt blue tiles in the bathrooms, and signature Ashton king-size beds. Timeless elegance is the name of the game here.

It’s all about comfort and convenience at the AC Hotel by Marriott Fort Worth Downtown. Located just a few minutes away from major local attractions and venues like the Dickies Arena and the Fort Worth Convention Center, this property is the perfect downtown respite.

Start your morning off right with a European-inspired breakfast (freshly baked croissants, breakfast tarts, and sliced prosciutto and cheese) before you set off for the day. After a day of exploring, there’s no better place to relax than the AC Lounge, with a craft cocktail in hand (the gin and tonics are mighty tasty).

And, the public spaces – from the on-site eateries and library to the fitness center – are all impeccably designed. There’s even a retail store stocked with local products, if you’d like to bring home a souvenir or two.
