Bad choice
They did not have a room for our family when we checked in at 9pm. Finally found a room but not the suite I paid for. Room had 1 king bed for my family of four (4)! A/C didn't work. Had to call maintenance (now 11pm and we're exhausted). Ants on the carpet when we woke up next morning. Checked out next morning eventhough I prepaid for 4 nights stay. The hotel is run-down and nothing at all like the photos on web. I will never stay at a doubletree hotel.
Smelly and bad bathroom
The mattress was awesome. I will look for tempupedic mattresses in the future! The lobby was pretty except the staff was using 2x4 wood risers for their keyboards painted black. They were worn so paint was missing in places. It was a huge contrast to the lobby. Made me wonder "what else is behind the scenes"?
The shower ceiling was so low that none of the steam escaped. Had to shower with the shower door open! Sink was also low -mid thigh. Poorly done remodel. Very musty smell in room. Boring decor in room.
