Cheap but still overpriced for what it was. There are much better places to stay in Toulouse for a similar price. Location is roughly mid-way between the mainline rail station (only about 10 minutes walk away) and the main city amenities.
Broken shower hose that looked like it was about to completely fail any moment. Sprayed water everywhere. Leaky shower door. No matter how careful I was, the bathroom floor ended up flooded after a shower. Reception staff devoid of anything that could be described as customer service skills. I would greet them (in French) on passing only to be met with a hostile stare. No lift and narrow, windy stairs. Nightmare if you have large/heavy luggage. Room servicing was poor. No towel provided and on asking the receptionist for one, he waved me away so that he could continue with his mobile phone conversation. Door entry card stopped working the day before departure.
The room and ensuite were tiny but functional. Our room was on the top 4th floor and was quiet. Housekeeping including our beds bein made on the second day, was a pleasant surprise. There is free street parking overnight after 8pm. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the big Basilica and the old town.
There is no lift and the stairs are wooden so if your room was close to the stairs, it would be very noisy.
Beds on wheels, when u turn over the bed moves???
Location> near, 400 m by foot, the railwaystation and the main bus station
There was no soap in the toilet, shower room> it wasn't put any, although I requested. Toilet paper roll> few slips of toilet paper left. There was a window> but closed by blinds from outside> so fresh air could get in> but no light. my room was on the 3rd floor, small spiral stair case> and I had a d heavy suit case, only I started lifting it myself, I got help carrying it upstairs> not very friendly staff, uninterested. No breakfast, no hot water. tiny tiny room> got the feeling I was in an isolation cell.
