The Shower was incredible and the bed very comfortable!
ALL Staff friendly, professional and courteous. On arrival and throughout our stay it was a bit disorganised at Reception as they seemed short of staff, same in the evenings in the Restaurant. That said the food generally lived up to or exceeded expectations, not fine dining (it doesn't claim to be) but very good. My Wife had the Fish and chips on one occasion - excellent so I tried the next day - overcooked. That said well balanced Menu and good Wine List, though prices touching the upper end of the range for what was on offer. Air-conditioning was a god-send as this was a couple on the days when temperatures in the South East touched 38 plusDeg. C
Some more staff, one more serving in the evening and someone to man Reception continuously. I understand the need to be cost conscious and as a significant portion of the Guests seem to be on business and only at the Hotel at Breakfast and in the evenings it is perhaps reasonable to not have someone at Reception permanently, but a little more readily available.

Location great for our personal reasons. Rooms good size and bathroom nicely designed
Considering not a large hotel, cleanliness I.e. dusting and hoovering could be greatly involved throughout whole establishment.
My first visit and will be my preferred hotel in the area. Friendly staff, good food and a good pub atmosphere in the bar. Will be back in a few weeks time!
