Clean, inviting room. Location of bar/restaurant (on site). Good food. Lots of TV's.
Something small...no NHL package on the dish so I could not watch my local team.Staff was very friendly and engaging. Very clean room, comfortable bed. Will definitely stay here again next time in Denver.
the low rate
this is not a 3-star hotel by any measurement the entire hotel reeked of cigarette smokethis is absolutely NOT a 3-star hotel also, the entire hotel stinks of cigarette smoke if Priceline is going to use low-grade places like this to fill Name-Your-Own-Price deals for 3-star hotels, then the Priceline bidding system cannot be used
I did not actually stay there (see other responses). I would say the location was pretty good since it was easy access.
The only two available rooms were in the smoking areas. Being a non-smoker myself, this was unacceptable.I checked into the hotel only to find out that the only two available rooms were smoking. We tried to make the best of it since we were only there for a single night, but the hallway reeked of smoke and the room was only a little better. I might still have considered staying if there was a way to air out the room some but, for some ungodly reason, the windows were nailed shut and you could only crack them open a couple of inches. At some level this is probably my fault for using Priceline's 'name your own price' (NYOP) or not following up with the hotel to make sure that there was a non-smoking room available. But I'd used NYOP in the past without any such issues, so was taken by surprise. There are a bunch of other hotels ...
the staff were superb
not hotel but your system. No way to designate no smoking room
Location close to Red Rocks
Dirty room (deodorant smeared on desk). Key cards did not work twice. TV remote did not have a guide function.
Lobbyit was ok I would not go back I have stayed at nicer for cheaper
The staff was friendly and helpful.
When we arrived, we were told they didn't have any rooms available with 2 beds. This was disappointing. Fortunately, the desk clerk kept trying and found us the room we wanted. It was a good experience. I felt secure and the room was cleaned well each day. The biggest negative was that I needed a hotel near or in Golden, CO, but ended up in Lakewood, about 40 minutes from the family gatherings.
the front desk staff was helpful in several situations.
I like when they serve a breakfast..none provided at this Holiday Inn
Warm pool, friendly staff
After checking in we went to our room and it was not ready. We sat by the pool until it was ready. Which wouldn't have been so bad if we had our swimsuits.
the rooms werent clean and check in was after 4:30the rooms were clean but the hotel in general needs some updating the halls were dirty and the wallpaper was peeling.the vending machines were out of water and the ice machine didnt work on the floor we were on so i had to go to another floor to get ice.
