The breakfast buffet was not that good for the price of $30 plus tip. The service however, was good. The bed were to low, making it difficult to get in and out of the bed. The room was clean and confortable.
Torn carpet, mold in bathroom, very low beds (typical of water beds in the 70s) noisy fan on heat pump, expensive breakfast buffet. We will not stay again.
I had a small issue ( the room next door was having some kind of party) normally I'd go with the flow... But I'd been in Vegas all week for work and i just wanted some peace and quiet. I called downstairs, they moved me from the 5th to the 9th floor and gave me 2 drink vouchers. Great price, I stayed in a hotel the night before at 2 times the price and it wasn't half as nice. I will be staying at the Doubletree Monrovia next time I'm in LA.
