The location was good The roof top bar was nice and relaxing
The bed was small and lumpy
Location is excellent if you want to be in the heart of the Gaslamp District.
The bathroom does not have a solid door and is glass enclosed, so there is very little privacy for the person using the toilet.Great, responsive staff and amazing location. Room was a little small, but you probably won't be spending much time in the room, given the location. The rooftop is great for relaxing during the day and supports an active nightlife.

Also good to know about the hotel:
Fair breakfast prices
Window air conditioner was so loud it was impossible to hear TV without having the TV "blaring". The outside noises weren't blocked out effectively. The sirens, people talking/yelling, etc, could all be heard very easily from my 3rd floor room.
The rooms and facilities were nicely updated. The staff was very nice and the free breakfast was great. We enjoyed are stay and proximity to down town. Overall a good experience.
The rooms are pretty small and the bed is a full not a queen...so a bit cramped...but still clean and comfortable.

Location was awesome. Room was private and comfortable. Great price.
Was a little freaky on the inside. Showers and toilets are shared with everyone on the same floor as you.I have never stayed at a hostel so it was an experience. Would do it again.

Location, look & feel, mattress, bathroom, view, service.
Literature in-room was not practical/logical. Difficult to navigate. Nowhere does the room indicate that there is room service available. Only a tiny grey font on the bottom right of the menu says 18% gratuity added to in-room service. No mention of room service on the clunky in-room literature. Comforters inside the duvets were very old and balled up.
I went for my birthday and it was a quick check in. Megan At the front desk was very friendly and engaged in conversation. She even sent up a bottle of champagne to my room for free!!
Parking was $40!! Wth?! Ty is ridiculous! They automatically charge u $75 upfront which I REPEATEDLY asked what my final charge was going to be and receptionist said $40. (Hotel was prepaid thru kayak) I didn't like that they didn't explain that FIRST. The exta $35 is for hotel incidentals.

I liked it's location
housekeeping didn't come to our room one day and when I went to the front desk to inquire about it, they acted like it's no biggie and even said it happens often. The parking was overpriced even for the area! We stay in that area often and it was highThe room had a mini bar, no problem, but there were also several bottles of alcohol out on a shelf. We were traveling as a family do we requested the alcohol be removed. I was assured it would Be handled but it wasn't until I again had to visit the front desk to ask again. One trip to the pool found the pool water to have an abundance of hair in it, so bad that our kids were getting it wrapped around their arms and such. All around disappointed in this hotel
Overnight parking was $41 a night. It was definitely an interesting surprise. We ended up going midweek so the hotel bar on the rooftop closed much earlier than advertised.
