The staff was very friendly, the location was excellent, the room and bed were comfortable.
The room had an odd odor when we first went in, which dissipated after opening the window. And someone had left the cleaning brush wedged at the bottom of the toilet, which I had to fish out.
A very nice hotel for a great price. Walking distance to convention center. Everything you need, plus free breakfast, wifi and complementary ride on Super Shuttle from airport.
A family would need a bigger room because the basic one is quite small. No gym, but San Diego has beautiful weather for outside exercise.

The staff was accommodating and very friendly. The location was perfect in Little Italy and walking distance to many downtown San Diego attractions. The rooms were nicely updated and the balcony overlooking the city was amazing.
The beds were a little hard for my taste. The room was hot and we were unable to control the air conditioning. We had to pay an extra $100 for a double queen. And it's $15 a day for parking which isn't stated at time of booking either
Location, efficient room, great value. Fairly recent, tasteful, modern remodel. Underground parking (though $15/night). Nice bed linens.
No pen or pad in room. Towels way overdue for replacement. No instructions how to operate HVAC. Shades either totally blocked light or provided no privacy at all- Need also something sheer to provide privacy.A perfect selection for my need to be all over the area.

Location and the comfortable bed.
Expensive parking fees.Restaurant and club on roof of hotel.
Location is nice if you get enough sleep due to maids who open your door despite a do not disturb sign and never return again afterwards very early in the morning
If you want service you need to get it when they offer it or else you don't get it. If the maids weren't barging in on our nakedness. The phone was ringing off the hook about staying over well before ten o clock. Can't I just sleep when I want to?

The staff was excellent in any way they could help which included shuttling us to nearby places.Excellent staff!!! The location to public transportation was great so we could be picked up within one block. The room was clean and the breakfast was great.A very good value for your money. I'm definitely planning on staying there again .
I enjoyed everything! Complimentary breakfast, proximity to trolley, cleanliness, friendly staff, comfy beds, free wi-fi!
N/AHighly recommend Comfort Inn. My brother and I were in town for the Cowboys/Chargers game, and needed a double queen bed room. The Comfort Inn was the best rate for our requirements. In Downtown, close to water, 1 minute walk to the trolley, parking was inexpensive ($12) and complimentary food was decent. Wish it was a few blocks closer to the Gaslamp District, and a better TV remote, but that's nitpicking

From its complementary breakfast to its free happy hour, the service consistently proved to be a highlight of the hotel. The receptionists were excellent, giving us options for activities (including coupons) and calling us a taxi!
There isn't a parking lot, so clients must park on the street. We had an economy room, which means we had to share a bathroom; however, this fact did not detract from the room's quality. We never had to wait to use the bathroom, it was conveniently right next door, and it was always clean and well maintained. The location is within a 10-minute walk to the heart of Little Italy. It has a homey and inviting atmosphere!
The friendliness of the staff and their willingness to fulfill any wish that we might have. Highly knowledgeable about the area restaurants and events.
Lack of parking. No parking lot so had to park on the street which is cumbersome since there are parking restrictions on Wednesday & Thursday nights. This is the city not the hotel. Street parking is for most part free.We had the 2 double beds with kitchenette room. Beds were extremely comfortable. Had the feel of being truly welcomed and appreciated by the staff who were friendly and accommodating. I know when I go back I will be greeted as a friend. Love that it is small and intimate rather than sprawling mega hotel. Some redecorating is being done therefore our room didn't have any bed skirts or paintings; however, the awesome beds and the kitchenette made up for that. We understand it is a work in progress. Free breakfast is of freshly baked croissants i.e. almond, chocolate, danish pa...

Loved the very friendly, helpful staff, the amenities in the room, and the outdoor pool/hot tub. All great!
airport shuttle doesn't start til 6 a.m. That doesn't help those of us who have flights out at 6 and need to be there at 5 a.m.Great location , short walk to Little Italy section of downtown that has many dining options (although most/all of the cuisine Italian, as you would expect). Easy cab ride to airport ($10.00)
The hotel was in a great location for the all the harbor tourism and close to downtown activities.
I didn't like the fact that we were charged 14.00 a day for parking. I think it should be included in the price of the room. We stayed at another hotel later that week, not far from there and they didn't charge.Everyone of the staff was very helpful and friendly and they have an afternoon snack, which lasts 2 hours, and was very good. They serve a morning breakfast, which is quite tasty.
