Five minutes' walk from the Rivers Fiddich and Spey, and 10 minutes drive from Aberlour and Rothes, the house is perfectly situated for fishing parties and groups of all ages who wish to enjoy the Scottish Highlands. The house sleeps up to 10 guests in 6 bedrooms: one double, one single and four twin bedrooms, and is on the edge of the village of Craigellachie with views of the Spey. There is central heating throughout, and an open fire place in the sitting room. A good-sized kitchen and a separate dining room allow guests to spread out. There is free acccess to wifi throughout the house, terrestrial TV. Clean dogs are welcome downstairs, off the furniture. As a family of keep fisherpeople, we have visited the house for 35 years, and been lucky enough to fish many of the beats nearby including Arndilly, Easter and Wester Elchies, Aikenway, Rothes and Delfur. All are within 15 minutes drive of the house. The house has off road parking for five cars and is set within its own hedged lawns. The gate to the drive should be dogproof, and the road is quiet. There is a garage in which rods and waders can be stored, and where where is a chest freezer which you are welcome to use. The house is kept immaculately clean, all beds will be made for your arrival, and in winter a fire laid. All utilities (heating, electricity, oil, internet, firewood) are included in the price, as is cleaning after your visit, and with sufficient notice we may be able to arrange for cleaning and cooking during your stay, at additional charge. We just ask that you treat the house with respect, as you would anyone's home, and we look forward to welcoming you.
