Location and shuttle timeliness. I didn't appreciate being charged for valet when I never had a car parked at the hotel. And then making an attempt to get in touch with the finance department of the hotel was nearly impossible. I left messages and called repeatedly only to never receive a call back.
My suite was very nice & clean. The staff where really friendly & very helpful LOVED IT!!
Staff made up different policy to extort money from confused scared woman. The received numerous calls from the booking agents and their parent company but they refused to honor the stated policy. The result, the hotel took all the cash off a woman who was traveling alone and had miss her flight due to an airline agent's mistake, Their actions forced a diabetic not to eat for over 14hrs.....

Booked on KAYAK mobile for $90 plus tax. Close to LAX - good for travelers spending the night. Check-in was efficient. Room was pretty big. Bed was comfortable. Seemed to be very clean. Stepped right onto the shuttle in the morning to go to LAX. The flipside of proximity to LAX is that you can hear jets taking off, although it wasn't loud enough to disturb me at all. It may have been bad luck, but I saw several hotels' shuttles come by twice or more before the Sheraton shuttle finally arrived to pick us up. Also the shuttle stalled out a couple of times on the way to the airport, leading to significant anxiety. Possibly may have also been just bad luck.
I liked the view the room was ok wasn't what I was expecting (received a king instead of a double queen) Staff was very friendly -Wasn't aware of parking so I was charged twice for going in and out -Have to pay for WiFi (Not Free) -Paid for club level wasn't able to access the club room for breakfast or the horderves with my key card -Extra $20 to get a double queen when it was offered during reservation but wasn't able to select figured since there was 3 guest it would give me double queen (said king or double queen) -Wasn't Well Informed on anything during check in -Left disappointed

Parking is so expensive
I like being able to see air traffic at LAX, so that's a plus for me. Others may not like the noise, but I don't mind it at all. The Club lounge on the 15th floor serves a decent breakfast, with a variety of breads and cereals, pastries and muffins, fruit, yogurt/fruit/granola parfaits, oatmeal, and drinks. The hotel has a room service robot that delivers small items that you may have forgotten or run out of (toothpaste, etc.) Water pressure in the shower on my 4+ stays has been far less than impressive. I can't say I've had to dance around to get wet, but it's almost there. The mattress and pillows are a bit soft for my taste, but I know I prefer a firm mattress and extremely firm pillows. Service in the hotel bar was the worst I've ever had when I was there earlier this week. They took a while to take our order (I was with a colleague), then brought me the wrong drink. They delivered my order (an ever-so-complicated quesadilla) 20 minutes later, and my colleague was still waiting on his medium-rare hamburger 45 minutes after ordering it. We did speak with a manager, who indicated that some changes had been made just that day and that the staff was adjusting. I may give the bar another chance, but if it's as bad as my last experience, it will be exactly that - my last experience.
Restaurant service and yelp promos very good
It was terrible and confusing. You had to get a voucher every day and it was far away, so you had to walk with all your stuff very inconvenient. Thought it was crazy that you had to pay for wifi too
Awesome bed. Didn't have housekeeping while staying there.
Clean. Called housekeeping for shampoos twice, and the second time the lady says it's on the way but I was waiting until checked out and nothing happened.
Room has a lot of facilities. Lobby is huge and luxurious. Breakfast was somehow rich. Staff are friendly. Rooms were much smaller that the value expected vs. price paid. The toilet was not properly clean since there were long hairs in the sink and on the floor. Bathroom is so small for a Hilton.. I would have liked to have a personal scale in the room to weigh the luggage prior to going to the airport.
Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Nice rooms and comfortable bed with decent coffee in the rooms. We stayed on the airport side. Guess what though? Jets are very loud. Also, the garage is a bit like a coal mine with parking found somewhere near the earth's core

Our connecting Delta flight was cancelled due to the recent weather and system issues. We couldn't get another flight for 36hrs. After arriving at the hotel at 1am, I was told that a strict check-in time was 3pm. I explained the circumstances, but no one was accommodating. They kept explaining their check-in policy and advised not to fall asleep in the lobby or security would request us to leave. There were several travelers in the lobby for the same reason. As I saw hotel customers check out, I asking about room availability. I was told to wait until 9am when housekeeping arrives. At 9:30am, I asked for a room. I was then informed that I would have to pay $50 extra to get one of the first available rooms or continue to wait until 3pm! I had no choice but to pay extra. This was unacceptable!
The location is great for a night's stay before departing/arriving from LAX. The rooms were also nice. You will be charged $9 to check in. That's right. The parking policy says you have 30 free minutes to park, get checked in, unload your bags, and then move your car. Unfortunately, it takes 45-60 minutes to find a spot two floors below the parking garage gate, take an elevator up four floors to lobby, check in, take a different elevator 10 floors up to your room, unload your bags, take an elevator 10 floors down to lobby, get on a different elevator for the garage, and then go down four floors to move the car. I was charged $9 for the hour of parking. I asked for a refund from the manager stating that I didn't think it was appropriate to pay $9 to check into a hotel. He responded by saying, "I'll see what I can do, but they don't care. They only care about the numbers." Buyer beware.
This was Convenient with the continuous shuttles and proximity to the airport. This hotel is in a serious need of an update for rooms. My room was on the third floor. Immediately walking into my non-smoking room I detected the smell of stale old tobacco have a room that had one smoking allowed. The carpet was old and the decor was dated. In the bathroom some of the woodwork showed moisture decay. The bathroom was small and the sink stood at about mid thigh of this 5' 7" guy. This was not what I would consider an ACA accessible room based on the size of the restroom so I don't understand why the sink was so low. Generally this room made me feel like I was staying at a seedy motel rather than a Hilton.
the bar shitty elevators, takes forever to get an elevator
There was a lot that hilton offered. To the point where we weren't able to do everything in the hotel for the 5 days we were there. The only thing that was a struggle, is the narrow-ish drive in for the front of the hotel. If there's a busy day or event, good luck getting through the entrance with a vehicle.
The room was gorgeous, the lighting and furniture was very sleek and modern. The room I was in also had a 60"+ Tv which made for a great way to catch the end of the Sunday night football game in solitude. The room and hotel are great. However there was a $250 deposit on the room, this wasn't an issue for me, though I can see this being an issue for travelers not being financially prepared.
Clean, quiet. Just coming off a red eye with my wife and kids for a few extra hours of sleep during our layover; the decor was a bit over the top and certainly not what we expected from a Hyatt Regency. Weird 1950's lighting. Limited bathroom privacy. The whole room felt like a spaceship. This property shouldn't be a Hyatt Regency; it felt more like a W or an edgier brand. Hyatt Regency at other properties feels classier; this was too modern and hip for a family running on fumes.
Juan in the bar was great. Got us food when we needed it and he was very pleasant, helpful and friendly. He should be commended for a job well done. He went out of his way to help us.

Long term parking is next door. Major construction of hotel going on. Met by Security on the way to our room- apparently it it had been trashed by the previous guest and not cleaned. Why would you check us into that room? Dark roast coffee only- most hotels offer a medium.

The place was extremely nice and well done. The accommodations were comfortable and nice. I purposefully told the attendant I would be leaving early and my guest will be staying until check out. She said she would make a note and one was not made. So then my friend was harassed and accused and made to feel like a criminal when he tried to get in the room and the key did not work. His belongings were held hostage while he was interrogated.

Location go LAX. Accommodated late check out. Overnight parking seemed a bit expensive. Cleaning staff came in multiple times with the do not disturb sign out.

The room was nicely updated. Hotel is under construction. The construction noise started at 8am. The staff was unable to compensate me because I booked the hotel through KAYAK.
Staff was phenomenal. Very friendly and answered all of our questions. This was fromthe front desk to the cleaning ladies. Great place to stay. Our room was also one of the quietest that my wife and i have ever stayed in. The only negative was the construction but it's a remodel. Didn't hold that against them.
Airport hotel, so just to sleep. Two girl friends travelling together and everything worked. Nice bathroom with lots of counter space, good shower. Lighting for reading was focused and not intrusive to the other person, with convenient switches,. Check out was done on the phone in your room, airport shuttle buses ran every 20 minutes, 24 hours per day. Basically everything worked and was very convenient. Sometimes the simple things add up to a great stay. Bathroom door was a pocket door and very noisy, so there was no way to go to the washroom without waking up the other person.
The pizza and craft beer were excellent. Sushi and many other food options were available.

Our receptionist Diamond was one of the best receptionist to accommodate us at the beginning. She made sure that all of our request regarding rooms and parking was taken care of . What a great host. The rooms were really clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff were spot on. Every morning at 6:30 am during our stay, there was a group of protesters outside of our window marching, yelling on a loud horn and shouting. Apparently, they wanted the hotel staff to unionize and the hotel has pushed back against it. We only learn then why we received ear plugs on our bed at the beginning of our stay. Even though we were on the 8th floor, it still was very loud and annoying during our 3 day stay. It lasted for about 1 1/2 hours each day.
Newer updated rooms, great bed/etc. Good location for getting around areas of LA. Parking was a bit costly because of how close this hotel was to the airport but it was a nice location for getting around various areas of LA.
It was easy to find, clean, friendly and comfortable. I didn't like the exorbitant parking fees and they had no record of my reservation through booking.com. Thankfully, the front desk staff were able to get me a room (and a rollaway :( ) and lowered my cost as a show of good business.
This place is great. I paid $136 a night. Super nice staff. Parking in the structure was only $15 that's good because from other reviews I heard it was more. its super convenient and has a nice view of the airport (perfect for plane lovers). Before you check they send you a email asking you when you wanna check in, what view you want, how many pillows you need, and if your a single or double bed so that was pretty cool. Overall it's a very good place to stay. I will definetly book here again, only if I can't stay at Taylor swifts house hahaha Didn't have a fridge. I love the concept of The Old Ship and the stateroomsecond as well as it being right on the water. The front desk staff was really rude. He just had an attitude the whole time and didn't want to accommodate us. We thought that we booked a room with two queens but it only had two twins and he was just very snobby about it. The rooms were very hot the air conditioner barely worked. I feel for the price it is not worth it. If they are charging over $200 a night, that's including tax, there needs to be a lot more luxury to the hotel. The toilet did not flush very well in the bathtub was uneven. It really needs a facelift.
Such a cool experience! We were upgraded from a standard (no window) room to one with a porthole, which was fabulous. Our room was no frills, but clean, and was quiet even though we were very near the renovation area. We ate and had a drink in the observation bar, which was very cool, and were able to explore many parts of the ship, even though we got in late, probably around 8 pm. Would definitely go back! The tours and museum type areas do close pretty early, so we were unable to access these as we got in later and had to take off in the morning. No breakfast, but we did eat at the expensive Starbucks on board.
I loved the feel of the golden age of ocean liners onboard. My girlfriend and I decided to stay the night before our cruise on Carnival the next day, which is conveniently located next to the ship. I wish more areas were open to guests such as the 1st class pool and grand ballroom.

What I like is the history about the Ship and the Location. I understand that there is an investment proyevt to improve the condition of the ship, incluían Public Areas and Rooms. Great view from the Decks. A lot of Potential to be a nice lace that was before. Get the Ship back in good shape and not just take advantage of the name! (This is for the Operators) My room was M216 I did not like the conditions of the room. It was not clean! No mentioned in the reservation that will be inside room! Big difference! Items were really old and rusty mainly in the Bathroom! Shawrr door, one light bulb missing, the chain of the lock at entrance door broken, I went to get ice and the bucket had brown water with a plastic bag!! And the door of the Air Conditioning, which was above the bed was showing further prints All over in a white door! The hotel should not rent this rooms anymore!
I absolutely loved exploring! After being out Kate and freezing, it was so nice to come back to a warm and toasty room. Wished I was able to stay longer. My suitcase was super heavy and I got a small blister from carrying it; I kept Hopi g that there would be someone with a cart around to help. It's ok though. A tour guide going through the hallway woke us up in the morning.
It's a cool, old cruise ship. It's kind of a tourist destination in itself. Also, it's really close to the helipad if you're taking the helicopter to Catalina. Overall, the boat felt old and empty and dingy. The bathroom looked a little dirty —probably just age—and there were lightbulbs missing from some of the fixtures in our room. I wanted it to be like stepping back in time, but that wasn't the experience on a weekday. Maybe weekends are better?

Unique and different. Good food although pricey as well. Lot's of things to do and see. Lot's of channels in room. Bed a bit small... We went during a special event and spent extra for the winter "chill" event. avoid at all costs. totally overpriced for what you get. Most disappointing part of our trip.
Staying on a piece of history, traveling back in time, something new around every corner. Ran out of hot water taking a quick shower.
The ship was a grand experience! Love the history lots of things to explore. The beds were comfortable! I liked the original fixtures in the room. I can only image the people long ago entering the rooms and using the ship! Food was good! We ate in The Chelsea Chowder House and Bar. Slightly priced but the food was excellent and service was outstanding!!! Paying for the use of the WIFI And parking that seems odd to me because back east those items are free?! Other thing drove nuts--the walls seemed to be paper thin the 3-women in the cabin next to us were so loud!! It was a joy when they left the room or went to sleep!!!! However I understand that would not be an issue when the engines would be humming at sea!!
Cool old ship. It's old ship, so the rooms are a bit old and not exactly sparkling clean. But the real issue is the Dark Harbor, haunted house event that goes on in October. We were not informed till arriving that are room would be adjacent to this raucous event. From 7pm until 1 am in the morning, extremely loud music, screaming, grass breaking and roaring gas flame would shoot off. It's criminal that the Queen Mary would rent rooms next to this mess. Oh but the front desk gives out cheap ear plugs, so that makes it all better.... not. We were on our one year anniversary and needless to say, were extremely disappointed and frustrated,

I LOVE the beds! I just stayed one night, usually I cannot sleep well the first night in a new location....but in these beds I slept just like I was in my bed at home.

The bed was comfotable The first room I entered had smoke oder though its a non smoking Hotel. They moved me to another room. The room size is small and could use some updating. My main disappointment was how long the shuttle takes to pick up from the airport and how long it took to get to the airport. thankfully I allowed an hour before my check in tome. It took 45 minutes from being in the lobby at 0630 to actually getting to the airport.

Usual Westin--nice facility, as expected. Good location if you need to be close to airport--but not too close to downtown LA or Hollywood... Unfortunately our bathroom had a strong cigarette smell in it, and when we asked to change rooms there wasn't a room available that wasn't facing LAX. They offered to freshen it up, but housekeeping didn't arrive until 10pm, and we'd already gone to bed so we sent them away
I had classes up in Hollywood, but I didn't recognize the hotel names in that area. I chose this Westin, by the airport... and like always Westin was Excellent. Beds are very comfortable!

Terrible experience 1)given confirmation that room will be away from elevators and quite, but the room no. 364 I was allocated, was right next to elevators and infront of maid/cleaning room 2)bathroom door lock didn't work. Door kept opening up 3)thin walls in the room. Could hear the shower noise in the next room 4) unnecessarily delay at check-in counter, because there was another person with same last name as mine had made reservation. Most absurd excuse I had heard ever 5) manager too rude to even come out at check in counter , the lady at the counter had to take my phone inside some room to show it to her manager the confirmation msg I got after I had checked in online earlier 6) found a hair in the milk served at breakfast. When asked to replace it, the server didn't even feel guilty to know about the hair 7) TV remote not present in the room.had to call room services and request one
They allowed us an early check-in on a day room. The shuttle was quick and efficient. The restaurant was slow and disorganized. The fact that they charged to print stuff out and didn't have a true business center was annoying.
nothing I arrived 11:30pm, as planned. The hotel acknowledged that I had a prepaid reservation, but said: NO ROOM. NO REFUND. NO OFFER TO PROVIDE A ROOM AT ANOTHER PROPERTY (it's Starwood, which has 1,000 hotels in L.A.). Avoid at all cost.

Good location ! Good for rental cars return and closer to the airport . The sink in my room smell like death fish.
It located near the airport and perfect for travellers like us. They run constant shuttles to and from the airport and a familiar with business travellers. The room condition was below standard. The drains in the bathroom flowed very slowly and the showering facilities were a trial to use. The bathroom basin drained so slowly we had to take turns washing.
The quiet. We checked in a little early. As soon as we checked in we were told a room wouldn't be ready for at least an hour and with a big business group in the property it was hard to find a space to relax let alone get a drink at the bar. The lobby hallway and bar were so crowded that we had to leave the hotel to get a drink to be able to relax after a long drive in from a neighboring state. Upon return we were directed to a room on the 2nd floor that had a bed that was so flattened and sunken in that myself and my partner rolled into one an other. This was truly unsatisfactory and we expected more staying at a shariton property. This was an issue that could visually be detected by housekeeping or maintenance but was disregarded and ignored. We then spoke to front desk and asked them for a room transfer and after some push back were redirected to a different room. Definitely not something worth going through while on vacation. Makes us want to stay with a competitor to see if the same challenges are met with (Hilton, embassy, etc.)
The location was great, the hotel is beautiful, especially the pool. I didn't rent a car so I liked how easy it was for me to take an uber The bed pillows were bad so I didn't sleep well and the were no outlets near the bed so I could charge my phone and none near the bathroom counter so I could power my curling irons
There was no heat in the room. Management promised to have it repaired the next day but no such luck. My son left sick with a cold due to lack of heat. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights with no heat.
The lobby and bar area (bartenders) was excellent and friendly. Looks nice on main floor. Once you get into your room it's tiny. Washrooms are small and out of date. Definetly clean though. Good for 1 night stay only while between travelling places. Tub leaked water all over washroom floor. Tiny washroom out of date. Vending machines on all the floors were sold out of all beverages.

one of the most amazing experience to stay at the host hotel for the long beach marathon. the hotel made sure that the guests who stayed at the hotel who participated in the events will receive a mini brown bag w/ goodies for the race. room did not come w/ a mini refrig nor any mini bar

Location was perfect. Room was nice. Room i was confir.ed with kayak was not available. Required a double and she kept insisting i take a king. Showed her my email.. the she found a room on the underground floor.. that had double veds.. after much hassle. Then after we checked out.. we went bac 2 hrs later to retreive a forgotton jacket and it was missing. Cleaning staff didnt find it.. it was specifically lEft in the clost. Only way it could have dissappeares was if someone took it .
Got a great last minute deal on this hotel, worked out great. Perfect location near restaurants and shopping on the shore.

The "Check In" staff was wonderful, helpful, and made me feel welcome. The rooms were comfortable and I will mostly likely stay here again when I visit Long Beach, CA. The hotel is in a great location prior to cruising and/or enjoying the beach. Even though my parking fee was waived, I hope free parking becomes a standard practice.
Being local to the beach and many restraraunts. The room smelled horrible and the view I paid for was blocked by a tree.

Went through Kayak to purchase this room. Kayak seemed to think it was a 4 star. It is it not a four star, 2.5 to 3. Took 25 minutes to check in with only one person in line ahead of me, mold in the shower, shower was over all dirty and old, room was stuffy the whole time I was there, parking was 26.00, which is NOT advertised, found out when I got there, Internet was 14.95, which I was advised of that when I arrived although my receipt showed a king size room - Internet. My fault for assuming that if was included. won't stay here again, especially for the rate that I was charged. Hmmmm... Large bath towels
The location is nice. The view was good. Fast service. They need to be green. The doors made a lot of noise when they closed. No low flow toilets. The shower handle was lose.They should have chargers for Mac products.

One of best travelodges I've stayed at. Old 1960s vintage facilities but a lot of attention to keeping clean and little garden areas that really make it a great place. If you want simple clean then that's the place for the money. Oh I forgot the pool in center of hotel was week kept. The dennys next door needs a better bar.

I like the cleanliness and the comfort of the and the garden Oasis inside. The service is very officious and not cordial and not pleasant. They also charge too many fees for what you get. I needed very good internet, and they were not very helpful in trying to resolve my situation. And specifically, it was in their level of service. I understand they probably couldn't fix it, but they really did not handle the situation well at all. Their staff needs major training in customer service.
Had some issues with flights, but the staff was helpful in insuring I had a room when I arrived. Location was convenient to lax. Appreciate the courtesy shuttle. It took a while for the shuttle to arrive, and while the problem may have been road construction, it would have made it less irritating to know that was the issue.
Nothing! The hitel was dirty and old What I didn't like is that they made a mistake and charges me for a room in a day where I was already in another state with no reimbursement! They stole my money and would not help me even tho it was kayak and the hotels mistake

The room was COLD the whole time. Client service was great. No elevator so pick the main floor. Smell bad, cold, the sink was blocked. It was not relaxing at all. So it's a good choice if you just have to retire for a couple of hours.
I waited for the shuttle to the airport for an hour. The shuttle didn't stop at the shuttle stop I was at. It went right past me.
Closeness to airport. Firm comfortable bed with excellent pillows. Clean bedroom and bathroom . Room had the typical smell of a 3 star or lower hotel. Though breafast was pretty good, for some reason the only egg choice was a cold shelled hard boiled egg. Don't know why they didn't offer hot scrambled eggs.

Good location. Near shopping and the beach. Construction made accessing/finding front of hotel difficult. Hotel had no signs indicating where entrance was located and no street level signage visible. Confirmation emails did not indicate hotel was under construction. Room service would not take our breakfast order, weird.
Super clean and nice. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave it. Beautiful pool deck on the roof where you can eat and relax. The shower was amazing. Super large.

The staff was very helpful and nice. The price was high for what you get at the hotel. I have stayed in very nice hotels that offer a more luxurious feel. Also, there were protesters there outside the main entrance almost every morning around 0700. You could easily hear them and it was quite obnoxious.
Breakfast was very expensive, but also very good. No fridge, no ice machine on my floor, very dirty bath tub, uncomfortable bed, no outlets by mirror, outlets by bed did not work,
Booked online for a room with a double bed. Reservation confirmation after booking the reservation snuck in "double or king." When we arrived at the hotel, there were no rooms with double beds and not even any rollaway beds. So I canceled the reservation. Kayak may not be the responsible provider, but when the website option selected is room with double beds and that's the primary reason for my selection of the particular hotel, they better have that kind of room available to backstop my booking. Otherwise, it's false advertising. I will think twice before using Kayak again to book a hotel room.
The hotel itself was beautiful, and edgy. Everything was an additional charge and expensive. I've stayed in NY and never thought i'd see pancakes sold at $15. I also would expect a hotel to include wi-fi. Water for $5???

Easy access to bus line ( bus line is Clean an convenient) takes you to downtown long beach. Free shuttle to cruise ship terminal. Great pool and pool bar staff. Cool/funky mayan theme throughout.
The atmosphere, view and vibe was relaxing and incredible !! the guy at the front desk was really respectfull and helpfull and even gave us free fresh baked choclate cookies at check in and compt our parking for our visit , think his name was Noor ... Highly recomend and will definitley be coming back soon ! Thumbs upppp
The views, particularly at night. It was undergoing renovation of one of the towers. Some noise etc. associated with that although it stopped by 5 pm. The staff at the restaurant was really terrible when I had a late lunch. I have stayed there before and enjoyed good service, but it was quite bad on this trip. I waited for at least ten minutes while waiters walked by me and waited on tables seated after I was. There were only 6 or so tables total as it was late afternoon. At one point my waiter talked to the table next to me about personal matters for about ten minutes and then walked off without coming by my table or refilling my water. My experience with all other staff was excellent. The restaurant staff is entirely responsible for the Okay rating.
We especially liked the location and the service by the front desk. Fuego is a great place to dine. Unfortunately, we were placed next to a family that were loud and disrespectful until late night. The hotel staff tried to quiet them; however, it took many attempts. It was not the real fault of the hotel; but it did make our stay unpleasant.
We (either spouse and/or kid) have stayed here at least once a year and have watched it undergo many improvements, it is a wonderful place to stay if you want to be close to the Queen Mary but would like to avoid the noise or prefer a larger room and a pool. Since it is set up like a motel, you have to walk over between buildings and to the pool. The Sunday brunch is fantastic, there is a cute sand area for the kids, decor is cute and the facility always appears clean. I have not used any of the service options (in room or pool side) due to some really bad experiences prior to the change of ownership. During the last stay there was a music festival at the Queen Mary which is to say that it was difficult to get to the hotel and once there, parking was difficult and people were pre-partying around the hotel. We had dinner reservations on the QM and the woman at the front desk offered a golf cart shuttle to the ship. On our way to the room we watched concert goers jockey for a space on the golf cart and then proceed to sit on one another's lap to fit. When we later approached the golf cart pick up area we were relieved to find it empty. A person identifying himself as a manager informed me "this cart isn't working, the battery is out" and then he clarified that it was the only one they had. Lame. In the end we were able to get to dinner in 10 minutes via sturdy Louboutins and the walk path but I would have liked a more professional handling of the situation.
Room was crisp and clean. Property and view was pretty. Special event affected the noise during our stay. Circular courtyard provided lots of noise from other guests.

Close to the airport, clean room, friendly staff, quiet, good dinner recommendations, shuttle was on schedule. We had to move into a 2nd room because the air conditioner wasn't working in the 1st. There was a $9.95 charge for the WIFI connection. The continental breakfast charge was too much ($19.00).
$28/day parking fees! This was not mentioned at time of booking. Reserved two rooms with two double beds in each, as our party consisted of two families of four. Was given two rooms with 1 king bed in each. Staff was rude and seemed annoyed that the reservations were booked via 3rd party. Rooms were on the small side and out dated. Very small pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast buffet is $24 for those interested.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was no late night snack bar.

Super amazing beds! Breakfast is decent. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Climate control didn't work in room, I don't think it worked on the entire floor so be sure to ask about it when you check in. Hair dryer was from the 80's. Parking for $15 seemed excessive.
Location close to airport, breakfast included Rooms were average, lobby more like a budget hotel, mildew in shower. It took 2 phone calls and a 45 minute wait to get picked up by the shuttle bus from the hotel 2 miles away. There was no restaurant on site, a very mediocre fitness area, and no pool, despite ads to the contrary.
Called ahead to let them know I would arrive late. They said no problem. When I arrive they gave my room away and instead of 2 beds we got a bed and a pullout. Not OK. The first room they gave us had no water pressure so we had to move to another room. The front desk attendant had absolutely no remorse or empathy about the situation. Terrible service complete and total liars...
The staff is friendly and the building itself was pretty quiet give its proximity to landing strips at LAX. The exercise facility is quite nice. The express breakfast is limited, but gives a few options. My room was not clean--and frankly wasn't ready when I checked in at 4:00 pm (no bath towels). Toilet didn't flush well. Water didn't drain well in shower.
the location and being close to the airport for an early morning flight The hotel. The dirty worn out wallpaper, the broken AC units, the bathtubs that don't drain durning a shower. The hotel smelled like old cigarettes and the carpet in my room was dirty with crumbs. The pillows are all lumpy and half the size of a standard pillow. We requested different pillows but we're given the same type of gross lumpy pillows.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE STAFF.....from our late check- in to shuttle arrival at LAX. Having limited knowledge of the vast local area, we chose this hotel because of the Wyndham name and its location to the airport. Each and every person of the staff treated us professionally, pleasantly and with a sense of real care regardless of the job description. Hats off to this team!
Everything in the hotel was nice. Shower was clogged enough that the water reached our ankles. Unhygienic and disgusting.
Friday morning there was a breakfast buffet with egg and sausage patties, waffles (cook your own) , muffins, fruit, coffee, fresh fruit and various waffle toppings. There was instant oatmeal and dry cereal with milk as well. I'm sure I might have missed a few items, but I was very satisfied with the choices. Ample tables and chairs to accommodate everyone who choose to stay there. Bring a tray from the room if you want to take it to go (breakfast in bed?). Warm room. There were too few stations on tv and only one chair in the room, but I'm sure I could have gotten another one if I asked. Wifi was spotty on 6th floor. Parking fee of $15 was unexpected.
I called hotel 3 times and shuttle never came at airport. I had to wait for 1 hr finally I took a cab to hotel DO NOT take this hotel if you want shuttle from airport.

House keeping staff are friendly and quick at preparing the room. Check in staff was friendly and it was a quick process. Clean room with a lot of space and giant mirror, balcony and fridge. The fitness center is a small room with mainly cardio machines. Please add some free weights. The elevators, vending machine and ice are located in just one area of the hotel; my room was literally 88 rooms away from them. The bathroom next door had a pipe issue that would make a huge noise every time the guest was using it and woke me up several times at night and in the morning. At check out, the front desk lady was in a hurry and unfriendly (I didn't catch her name but she was red headed with eyeglasses).
Coffee machine in room but no ceramic coffee cups provided to use it. Told per IHG platinum member could not use club room with free breakfast because rewarded with bonus points.

I loved the all around look and feel of the hotel. It was clean, the staff was hospitable, and the room was amazing. Parking in the parking garage was an additional $125 for the 5 nights I stayed and was not disclosed when booking the hotel.

For the price, the hotel was excellent. Rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. It was walking distance to the main attractions in Hermosa beach which was nice. The rooftop pool was great and the view of the sunset was awesome. I feel like the hotel nickel and dimed the guests for everything. The bathroom products were cheap and left my skin and hair extremely dry. There were bike rentals, but they were 20-30$ for the day. Parking was 30$/night. I generally felt like the staff was overwhelmed as well.
The room was large, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were FANTASTIC! (The even helped us find a pizza place open late to get a late snack). Everything was in walking distance, we didn't take our car out of the garage once! N/A
We had a very nice stay and will return in the future. Our son and family were also there and we all found the hotel to be helpful and attentive to our needs. The location is great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the staff to be very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy. 5 stars. We also did NOT like the parking fees, but with that the only negative it's not such a big deal.

Room service and housekeeping had the best customer service at of whole hotel! It looks like a hospital. No one greets you or shows that they want to be of service. I was looking forward to a bath after long conference and when turning on the water a huge clump of hair came out of drain and killed it for me.

Everything was beautiful. From our rooms, it is worth upgrading. To the rotating lounge to get a full view of the city. There was something to do all over the hotel. We only left to go to the NBA game! Food, entertainment, night life. The Westin Bonaventure has it all. Wish Starbucks carries their normal breakfast items.
Cool building, nice facilities. The view is amazing and the location is a short ride to good food areas like Little Tokyo. Bathroom was tiny, there was a small piece of gum stuck on the carpet in my room.

The hotel looked as though it had been remodeled fairly recently. It was well designed and had a very cozy great room/lobby with a fireplace and a bar. The rooms were large, clean and very nice. We had an amazing ocean view and the front desk upgraded us for free. The restaurant across the parking lot is part of the hotel and was delicious. It was a great place to spend our 6 year anniversary.
We love this hotel and this was our second stay in 4 years. We love everything about it and the staff is exceptionally friendly and wonderful. The only complaint was this was booked through Kayak and we booked a "Premier Oceanfront Room King Bed". It was confirmed and stated on our confirmation in three different places. Upon arrival, they had us booked in a double bed oceanfront room (not premier which is the 2nd and 3rd floors and not a king bed) and they were adamant that was what Kayak booked us in. When we showed them the printed confirmation from Kayak they gave us the Premier Oceanfront King on 2nd Floor. Anyone booking through Kayak should absolutely call the hotel to confirm what they show you are booked in prior to arrival as obviously there are some issues there when booking through a third party like Kayak.

We loved the very cosy 'livingroom' bar with fireplace and live music....and Baleen, the restaurant and bar, also with live music was very nice!

Had to pay extra for parking, breakfast and Internet. Internet starting dropping every 20 mins one day even after paying. Lost my dry cleaning for three days. The phone did not work and I had to tell the front desk three to four times before it was fixed. The gym is tiny. For this price surely these should not be issues.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and the views are just breath taking on ocean side Marina side room by parking lot on 1st floor. They need to build that up with plants for privacy. People walking by looking in, noicey from people and cars. We had the staff move us to another room or we were leaving. They almost lost a week long customer when all it would take are some trees, hedges and plants for privacy. You can't see the marina anyways from the 1st floor
clean & comfortable some of the lights didnt work, like the vanity mirror in the bathroom. the tv wasnt in HD..wifi also scared me cuss it might charge $11.99 ice machine on our floor was broken as well.

Stayed here at the tail end of our honeymoon. Beautiful in-room finishes, modern yet charming. Ocean view rooms with views of a colony of cute barking sea lions, complete with sailboats passing by! Spectacular. Would stay again.
The lobby and seating area are lovely and a nice place for a quick breakfast or glass of wine in the evening. The room categories are misleading: the hotel is behind a breaker wall and therefore on a canal not oceanfront.
The hotel is right off the freeway, and the location is amazing. There is a gas station adjacent to the hotel, which was great because we just walked right over to buy some waters.
