Pros: If you wanted to be treated like royalty stay here. The staff is amazing
Experience The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE, located at the epicenter of Los Angeles, amidst the spectacular revitalization of downtown. This boutique hotel features luxurious accommodations, dramatic, panoramic skyline views, relaxing spa services, stimulating nightlife, and exclusive access to sports, entertainment, award shows, and world-class cuisine. Pros: Convenience. The wedding we attended was held in the gardens of the hotel. Lovely garden, great service.
Cons: No robes in the room. View of the parking lot not particularly inspiring. Noise from the highway annoying. Food not great.
Restaurant VERY noisy, food below average. If you are without a car, you are kind of stuck.
Swimming pool very crowded, good job we had no intention using it.
Pros: Great hotel would stay again.
except the elevators were broken.
truly hurt me. both elevators
probably won't effect your trip but it made mine difficult.
Cons: besides the elevators, the parking is a bit far but okay.
everything else is awesome.
Pros: The pool area was very relaxing and comfortable
Cons: The pricing for food and drink in the pool area was too high.
Pros: The room, the bed, pillows, shower, and the size of the safe.
Cons: The daily parking fee of 22.00 and the additional 2.00 for taxes .
Our card didn't work in the parking meter. We had to go another one.
The a/c vent next to the bed was loud and the a/c kicked on.
Pros: Convenient location to Universal and other Hollywood landmarks.
Cons: Wait staff, rude. Front desk, not helpful. I would not stay here again nor recommend others based off the customer service alone.
Pros: Everything was stunning. It's a nice hotel surrounded by greenery and a very friendly staff. The rooms were clean and warm. What was nice was that you could walk to whatever you needed and it was all at most a 30 minute walk away. My friends and I went to universal via their trolly and walked home. It was a very plesant experience.
Cons: The pillows went flat really fast.
Pros: The bright, open property is contemporary and quiet. The pool area is large, organized and clean.
Cons: After driving by twice, we finally realized that BG on a building behind a driveway sign advertising a restaurant was the hotel. Pulled up to check in & unload but was whished away by the valet to move the car. Handed him the keys to move it but he declined...kept insisting I move the car to a lot then check in, go back to the lot to get the luggage then I had to move the car to the overnight lot...all because the trolley shuttle was due anytime. This was how our stay began. The resev. request and 2 calls for a ground floor unit went unheard. 7th floor near the 101 freeway & all the freeway noise. No iron/board in the room & waited over 30 mins to get one that was broken. Print your airline boarding pass.... $5.95 per 5 mins. Really? I addressed each concern with the attentive front desk. They waived the parking fee and asked that we please stay & not go elsewhere.
Pros: From LAX took the super shuttle to the hotel. Room was ready hours before expected check in. Reason for stay was for business conference at Universal Studios. We took the courtesy shuttle both days to Universal in the morning. Upon check out, Terene at the front desk was so helpful in arranging a rental car and checking prices. Would definitely stay there again. My only complaint was I wanted room service from the kids menu and they wouldn't let me because I wasn't under 12.
Located near Universal Studios Theme Park, Universal CityWalk, and CBS Studio Center, this Art Deco hotel in North Hollywood is also close to the Hollywood sign.
Pros: Beautiful hotel with very classy people that are there to help you with anything you may need.
Cons: Our room was beautiful but felt like there wasn't enough vanity space in the bathroom.
Pros: Very clean. nice staff. They put us in the room with the nicest view. The bed was very comfortable. Check out process was very easy, too.
Cons: It was supposed to be a private balcony, but it was too open to the next balcony. There was no dividers between the balcony to balcony, so if the guests in the next room wanted to, they could just hop over to our balcony. It didn't feel safe.
InterContinental Los Angeles Century City at Beverly Hills is minutes away from world-class shopping major entertainment studios and the sunny beaches of Southern California. The landmark hotel features 363 spacious and stylish guestrooms including 178 suites all of which offer private balconies or terraces and panoramic views of Los Angeles.
Pros: Arrived at hotel at 4:30 pm after a 7 hour drive. Our room was not yet ready. Asked if we could wait at the lounge. The lounge and restaurant were reserved for a private party. They recommended finding an restaurant on the street nearby. We just drove for 7 hours and didn't want to search for a "place" to wait somewhere outside of the hotel.
We finally were allowed to our room...which was nothing as shown in pictures. It was dark, dingy with no seating beside the bed.
Because the restaurant and lounge were "reserved", and we were too tired to venture out to eat, our only option was room service. We ordered chicken Caesar salad. Although they said it would take 45 minutes...it arrived in 15. A salad with chicken breast on the side. Much to our disgust...as we sliced the chicken to add to the salad, it was not just under cooked...it was RAW! completely inedible. It took 4 calls to room service and guest services to have someone come to our room to witness the meal, acknowledge the error and remove it from the room.
This room was 350.00 per night with valet...I've had better treatment in a 75.00 a night motel. I will never revisit this Hotel.
Pros: Very nice and clean. Great value and great location.
Cons: Lower floors can be loud at night if there is an event in the restaurant.
Cons: Needed to wear ear plugs as the road noise is quite loud.
Pros: Excellent service and great suite W views.
Cons: Signage for gym directions needs to improve.
Pros: Great staff and great hotel, a little pricey for the size of the room but overall great stay
Cons: Wifi was down with no notice, was on the phone with IT for over an hour
Pros: Possibly one of the greatest hotels I've stayed at within the Los Angeles county.
From a friendly courteous staff, to an impeccably clean room, Sofitel has lived up to its standards as well as exceededing them.
-The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as luxurious and comfortable as possible with their luggage assistance, complementary calls, rapid response to requests, and much more.
-The room was spotless and featured many extra amenities not normally included in other hotels.
-A glass window separating the bedroom from the shower exemplified the uniqueness of this hotel and offers a romantic setting for couples.
-To top this stay off, the chefs truly know their way around a kitchen. Our breakfast was delightful and very artful. I highly recommend all guests to attend the restaurants or enjoy a meal within your room.
Overall, a wonderful experience at the hotel Sofitel. I will gladly be returning in the near future as well as forwarding friends and colleagues.
Cons: No comment
Pros: Great location, cool hip vibe
Cons: Very small room, Unresponsive service, air conditioning in room broken, shower in bathroom was actually worse than an old holiday inn. Things were just broken down, dirty, and nobody seemed to care. For a luxury hotel, a huge disappointment.
Pros: It was comfortable enough for me to return for a second time and felt right at home. The staff is genuinely nice without being gratuitous. Love the outdoor cafe for breakfast.
Pros: great room with great view facing the hills on 9th floor
Cons: i was sick and the maid unfortunately took away my thermos jug with tea, even though i put it off the tray and next to my bed
Pros: the comfort of the bed
Cons: We got an upgrade but the room was tiny.
Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is a stunning hotel in LA, offering elegant luxury accommodations and dramatic décor with an ambiance that combines see-and-be-seen excitement and the calm of an urban resort. Ideally situated on the corner of La Cienega and Beverly Boulevard, opposite the Beverly Shopping Center, this hotel is conveniently located near Cedar Sinai Medical Center, Rodeo Drive, Melrose Avenue & Sunset Boulevard. Discover a unique blend of French fashion mixed with Hollywood glamour.
Cons: Just coming off a red eye with my wife and kids for a few extra hours of sleep during our layover; the decor was a bit over the top and certainly not what we expected from a Hyatt Regency. Weird 1950's lighting. Limited bathroom privacy. The whole room felt like a spaceship. This property shouldn't be a Hyatt Regency; it felt more like a W or an edgier brand. Hyatt Regency at other properties feels classier; this was too modern and hip for a family running on fumes.
Pros: Juan in the bar was great. Got us food when we needed it and he was very pleasant, helpful and friendly. He should be commended for a job well done. He went out of his way to help us.
Pros: Long term parking is next door.
Cons: Major construction of hotel going on.
Met by Security on the way to our room- apparently it it had been trashed by the previous guest and not cleaned. Why would you check us into that room?
Dark roast coffee only- most hotels offer a medium.
Pros: The room was nicely updated.
Cons: Hotel is under construction. The construction noise started at 8am. The staff was unable to compensate me because I booked the hotel through KAYAK.
Pros: Location go LAX. Accommodated late check out.
Cons: Overnight parking seemed a bit expensive. Cleaning staff came in multiple times with the do not disturb sign out.
Pros: The gym has a nice view, and the shuttle was efficient.
Cons: Small room.
Pros: The room was gorgeous, the lighting and furniture was very sleek and modern. The room I was in also had a 60"+ Tv which made for a great way to catch the end of the Sunday night football game in solitude.
Cons: The room and hotel are great. However there was a $250 deposit on the room, this wasn't an issue for me, though I can see this being an issue for travelers not being financially prepared.
Cons: Room was missing an iron
Pros: The renovated room , with modern details.
Cons: The type of window of the room 722 is old and doesn't match with the renovated room.
Pros: Staff was phenomenal. Very friendly and answered all of our questions. This was fromthe front desk to the cleaning ladies. Great place to stay. Our room was also one of the quietest that my wife and i have ever stayed in.
Cons: The only negative was the construction but it's a remodel. Didn't hold that against them.
Pros: The place was extremely nice and well done. The accommodations were comfortable and nice.
Cons: I purposefully told the attendant I would be leaving early and my guest will be staying until check out. She said she would make a note and one was not made. So then my friend was harassed and accused and made to feel like a criminal when he tried to get in the room and the key did not work. His belongings were held hostage while he was interrogated.
Pros: Loved the view of planes.
Cons: Need more handicap spots for parking.
Bathroom a little adted
This full service hotel is located closest to the airportOffering newly designed quadruple paned guest rooms, services include 24 hour hotel operated shuttle and the New Market Place and Lobby Bar.24 hour Fitness WIFI is complimentary.
Pros: I've stayed here quite a few times. Centrally located to shopping, and fun. Priced right for being on outskirts of Bev hills friendly staff. Nice restaurant. Great pool. Beautiful decor
The Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel offers a garden oasis of tranquility amidst our lush tropical setting. Beautifully appointed suites exude the elegance and comfort of modern european decor. Whether your stay is short or long our hospitable staff provides the utmost personalized service and attention.
Pros: I had a short and lovely stay at The Orlando Hotel. The staff was so nice, especially the concierge, Alan, who checked me in and immediately made me feel at home.
I will definitely stay here again on my next L.A. Trip.
Pros: Great location, nice clean rooms, friendly staff.
Cons: Little to no electrical outlet access for charging electronics.
Pros: A great central location - friendly helpful staff - soft beds - spotless clean -
Cons: Bar needs to be bigger ??? Never an open seat !
Located on the 3rd Street restaurant row, this five-story hotel is within two miles of the Grove shopping complex, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Sunset Strip.
Pros: Great location, great staff, and great people staying at this cool LA hostel
Cons: Shared bathrooms are a bit awkward
Pros: So, to start off, let me say that this is not a hotel. It's a cheap way to share a room with seven other people and have a little base of operations to explore from.
The thing that impressed me most was how clean it was. Every time I went anywhere in the hostel, there was someone cleaning something. I felt very comfortable in that.
Also, having a lot of internationals around makes for great conversation. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. Great stay overall!
Cons: The only thing I didn't really enjoy as much (and this really couldn't be avoided) was sharing a room with 7 people. Not that they weren't nice; just the awkwardness of not having much privacy and trying not to make much noise when you come in late or head out early. Other than that, it was great.
Pros: Great location and price. Pleasant staff. Very clean. Surprisingly quiet.
Cons: Long flights of stairs to room. Very slippery tiled shower floors -- I fell! $2 extra for towels.
Pros: Great breakfast, and very clean all around. Super helpful and friendly staff. Lockers in the room for your valuables and a really soft blanket! The beds were pretty good and there were sockets in between each bed with room for about 6 plugs.
Cons: Everyone showers in the morning so the water gets really cold. This is not their fault though:)
Cons: Everything. The minute we get there we are ignored for a good 15min while the front desk flirted with a girl in the lobby. We are finally helped, but with attitude from the minute I opened my mouth to check in. Then we were told I had to have a passport to check in. I provided my out of state drivers license and was told that still wasn't enough. They had to have an itinerary showing that I planned on leaving. Nothing on the website we used to book advised anything about having to provide a passport and i have stayed at sevreal hostels around the US and never once did they require a passport to stay at their establisment. I even double checked my itinerary details when we left to see if there was any disclaimer. We ended up just cancelling our reservations as long as they didn't charge us. The guy checking us in was rude the entire time and had little to no care if we stayed. Never again.

Pros: Historical, well maintained, beautiful hotel!
Cons: Slightly small rooms, fridge would be good in the room.
Pros: While in los Angeles for the day me and my girlfriend decided to stay the night. Found this place in kayak and it was a great deal so we stayed. Best decision of my trip!
Cons: Didn't like that parking was so expensive but you take the good with the bad,
Pros: The lobby was beautiful.
Cons: The room I stayed in was old. Had a cob web in the corner. Charged $45 for valet parking without notifying me explicitly. Charged 10 a day for wifi access.
Pros: The room was very comfortable and in general very nice. The staff was extremely kind. The cleaning staff would always smile and say good morning, and the receptionist was very accommodating. I had many issues actually getting a room upfront, but the receptionist was thankfully very patient and helpful.
Cons: It's a nice hotel, but it feels like it hasn't received a renovation within the past two decades. Mostly in the bathroom, the faucet and shower are very old style, and an upgrade would be nice.
Pros: The lobby what's nice as a matter of fact that was the best part of the hotel
Cons: The rooms were too small and my windows were very dirty had to keep the shutters closed
Pros: THIS HOTEL IS BEAUTIFUL, THE STAFF WAS GREAT, GOOD LOCATION, FOR DOWNTOWN BUSINESS.
Cons: THE BATHROOM WAS OLD, AND SMALL, NO COUNTER SPACE FOR TOILETRIES, IT ALSO HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED VERY WELL, I'M BLONDE, AND AS SOON AS I WALKED INTO THE BATHROOM, THERE WAS A LONG BLACK HAIR IN THE SINK. STAFF DID COME RIGHT AWAY TO CLEAN. YOU COULD NOT WORK THE REMOTE CONTROL FOR THE TV FROM THE BED, BATTERIES MAY HAVE BEEN LOW, I DON'T KNOW. ICE MACHINE, WAS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HOTEL, AND DOWN ONE FLIGHT OF STAIRS.
Pros: The staff responded swiftly and courteously to complaints. Grand setting in a historic building.
Cons: Old style facilities, very sound sensitive, but in the progress of remodelling.
Pros: This historic hotel is currently undergoing restoration but management and staff has made it relatively unobtrusive. Staff was very congenial and attentive. If the price is right we'd most definitely would stay here again.
Cons: shower drain was clogged
Pros: LOVELY LOBBY, RESTAURANT AND BAR.
WE ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT TO BE AT THE AIRPORT FOR
EUROPEAN TRIP THE FOLLOWING DAY SO DID NOT HAVE
TIME FOR AMENITIES.
EXCELLENT SERVICE IN RESTAURANT FOR BREAKFAST.
Cons: SLOW SERVICE IN THE BAR.
BATHROOM NEEDED REPAIR AND COULD HAVE BEEN
MORE USER FRIENDLY.
Cons: I don't like booking into a boutique hotel expecting the same basic accommodations as you might find in a Motel 6 and finding that they're going to charge you for every little thing. $10/night for WiFi in a hotel that charges hundreds per night per room is straight up ridiculous and I will not book into this hotel ever again for that reason.
The staff did their jobs, but the only one who offered a smile was a maid. All the front desk staff were incredibly dour.
Pros: Love the grandeur and art of the lobby, tea room, cognac room. Concierge very good. Please never renovate this feel - really inspiring! Loved the live performance of pianist. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Love the shutters on window.
Cons: My shower never got hot! Room by elevator noisy with people coming and going. No luggage rack? Wifi was really slow and unreliable.
The home of Hollywood glamour, the historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles has been the choice of celebrities, presidents, and dignitaries, and the backdrop for many movies and TV shows. Designated as a historic-cultural landmark, the interior of this beloved 1923 hotel features frescos and murals, carved marble fountains and columns, crystal chandeliers, and embroidered tapestries.
Pros: The location was good with only a 20 minute walk to the LA Convention Center and Staples Center. Food and dining options were prevalent within short drives. The hotel was clean and quiet.
Cons: The hotel was very overpriced for the level of accommodations. It was over $400/night during the week for a fairly small room and some dated decor and layout. We could have paid slightly more to stay at the JW Marriott which is more high-end and literally next to the convention center and Staples Center. The comforters on the bed were very uncomfortable from the heat but the room was also cold. My travel companion and I both woke up in sweats and found it difficult to sleep well.
Cons: The way the room door was so crowded it was hard to even get the suitcases in the room; the bathroom door seemed to open the wrong way, and overall the room felt very cramped, in need of a design overhaul.
Pros: Readonable price, but you will have to pay 22 extra gor parking each night
Cons: Parking fee, no continental breakfast

Cons: Parking too expensive. Wish breakfast was included at the price paid for hotel.
Pros: Convenient location to good food and attractions.
Pros: It was clean and the valets were fantastic!
Cons: Food not that great, some friendly staff, some not. Very underwhelming.
Cons: Bathroom was uncomfortably small. Could not open door with someone standing at sink.
Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: Facilities need upkeeping. Toilet wouldn't flush & we were unable to switch the shower on.
Pros: Bed and pillows were ok.
Carpet was in good condition.
Cons: Bath tub drain surrounded by rust.
Sink had chips.
Toilet paper was very scratchy.
Cons: Everything costs $$
Pros: The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Cookies were unlimited. I would come back.
Cons: NO POOL???? This is LA! 85 degree and NO Pool? Seriously? Also parking was crazy high! $35 a night to park at a hotel that I'M PAYING to stay at is just stupid. There should be complimentary parking. Ecspecially because they don't even guarantee your cars safely! What am i paying you for??
Pros: I liked the downtown location the price was good for that type of hotel. Free cookies at check in are nice but they didn't have any :(
Cons: I watched some homeless person wipe their behind a block away on my arrival. The late night staff was grumpy and non-helpful.
Cons: $32 self parking !
Rooma not worth the price.
Pros: Staff was nice
Cons: super expensive. homeless people were lined up outside in tents
Pros: Booked the hotel and got a confirmation email. When going to check in at 11:30 at night I was told I had no reservation. After being in the phone for an hour with customer service, I was told my reservation was actually in Wisconsin. WISCONSIN?! Thanks for making me stranded in downtown LA at midnight. I will never use this service again.

Pros: Convenient location, great shuttle service (driver was excellent), and the room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast buffet @ $25 was excessive and plumbing fixtures in room bathroom needed attention.
Pros: Bed comfortable. Linin nic
Cons: Bathroom Tissues so cheap like a gas station very limited tolietries. Paper coffe cups? Must call for ceramic. For a Crown Plaza I expected higher quality
Good in restaurant tasted canned or frozen
Pros: The pizza and craft beer were excellent. Sushi and many other food options were available.
Pros: Friendly, quick check in, comfortable room, good size room.
Cons: Dirty linen, cheap toilet paper, did not live up to expectation based on name of hotel, airport shuttle very behind schedule of advertised "every 15 minutes".
Pros: I like the travelers kit with the relaxation essential oils spray. It made it very easy to fall asleep for the four hours I was there.
Pros: Our receptionist Diamond was one of the best receptionist to accommodate us at the beginning. She made sure that all of our request regarding rooms and parking was taken care of . What a great host.
The rooms were really clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff were spot on.
Cons: Every morning at 6:30 am during our stay, there was a group of protesters outside of our window marching, yelling on a loud horn and shouting. Apparently, they wanted the hotel staff to unionize and the hotel has pushed back against it. We only learn then why we received ear plugs on our bed at the beginning of our stay. Even though we were on the 8th floor, it still was very loud and annoying during our 3 day stay. It lasted for about 1 1/2 hours each day.
Pros: It was easy to find, clean, friendly and comfortable.
Cons: I didn't like the exorbitant parking fees and they had no record of my reservation through booking.com. Thankfully, the front desk staff were able to get me a room (and a rollaway :( ) and lowered my cost as a show of good business.
Pros: Super clean and comfortable. Relaxation therapy face and foot cream and room/pillow spray a nice touch.
Pros: This place is great. I paid $136 a night. Super nice staff. Parking in the structure was only $15 that's good because from other reviews I heard it was more. its super convenient and has a nice view of the airport (perfect for plane lovers). Before you check they send you a email asking you when you wanna check in, what view you want, how many pillows you need, and if your a single or double bed so that was pretty cool. Overall it's a very good place to stay. I will definetly book here again, only if I can't stay at Taylor swifts house hahaha
Cons: Didn't have a fridge. Would be the best if they can put one in the rooms that don't have one. Other than that this place is s
Pros: Newer updated rooms, great bed/etc. Good location for getting around areas of LA.
Cons: Parking was a bit costly because of how close this hotel was to the airport but it was a nice location for getting around various areas of LA.
Cons: Having to pay $25 for valet parking.
Pros: Good but noisy A/C unit in room 826.
Cons: Good but noisy A/C unit in room 826.

Pros: Very roomy and comfortable, with a helpful staff and great location for the price. Loved that parking was included.
Cons: This isn't a huge deal, but the key card reader to enter parking garage after 11 was difficult to use. It was a bit far from where you could comfortably reach it as a driver. I had to get out of my car to use it.
Pros: Room was large. It was quiet. The bed was comfortable. WiFi strength in the room was weak.
Cons: The hotel had electronic door locks and used video cameras extensively. However the fire doors were open throughout the building. The garage door was routinely open till 10:00 PM. It was possible to go from the garage to our room before encountering a locked door.
Pros: My room was very clean and spacious. Front desk was very friendly.
Cons: The area surrounding the hotel isn't the greatest.
Pros: The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Hotel was right near where my son lived in Echo Park so it was convenient. And 2nd floor room had a nice view of a palm tree which was pleasant.
Cons: Walking into hotel through garage only but that had to do with renovations. The worst thing was the cigarette smoke smell that came through the vents in the bathroom when the fan was turned on.

Pros: The front desk staff was always nice and helpful. I like the updated rooms.
Cons: Breakfast could be better. The eggs were awful.
Pros: Good location
Cons: First night asked for room to be switched and was denied. Room was small and noisy. Next day spoke to manager and room was changed with an upgrade fee, but the rest of stay was great. Nice room with no noise.
Pros: Good location, with nice sized, modern rooms. Nice shower space and a lovely patio area to sit out in the sun.
Cons: A selection of meats could have been good for breakfast too, but when it's free I can't complain.
Pros: Very Clean and roomy
Cons: The parking is terrible. The lot only holds about 10 cars and it fills up around 8 pm. Every night I had to park my rental car on the street.
Pros: Get the suite! It is worth the extra money. Parking is included!
Cons: It is about a 15 minute walk to the beach.
Pros: Close to my meetings. Room was clean and bathroom had been updated. The hotel is on a busy noisy street and yet the room was fairly quiet.
Cons: When I checked in, the receptionist was on a personal phone call while checking me in. Not a good first impression or welcoming . All the other staff were helpful.
Pros: The room I had was spacious.
Cons: Parking lot was pretty small.
Pros: location to resturants and beaches.
Cons: found ants in bathroom of first room, was changed to a different room.
Short trip to and from airport by cab. Cab there cost $40.00, cab to airport cost 25.00, no shuttle from hotel, although this is not designated as an 'airport' hotel, but a 'beach' hotel. Sorry I couldn't make it to the beach.
Pros: Was only there for a short time, layover at the airport. Staff was friendly & helpful, room was beautiful, but honestly, I only slept there briefly before flight.
Pros: Courteous staff and amazing room.
All Deluxe Guest Rooms and Suites Walking distance to shops and theatres Easy access to freeways and close to major attractions Venice Beach 1 mile Santa Monica 2 miles Hollywood Studios 10 miles Disneyland 20 miles Magic Mountain 25 miles Speciality shopping within walking distance Mall 10 minutes away 5 Miles from LAX Suites have microwaves and sofa sleepers
Cons: the restaurant was bad . poor service, hostess is so lazy
Pros: Hotel is right on the boardwalk with very nice restaurant (voucher for 1/2 price breakfast0 on 1st floor for people watching and of course the beach and ocean. We were upgraded to an ocean view room (no. 12) which was very nice with small living room, kitchenette, and wonderful queen bed. Parking was only about 150 feet to south (overnight $25). Kyle (manager) and Jose (who checked us in) were gracious and made sure we had what we needed. We even got a temporary parking by hotel after we checked out. Rented bicycles only 3 doors away; basically well situated to beach activities, dining, and not too far from Santa Monica pier.
Cons: We liked everything, but would caution that there is no elevator. While there is a halfway house across the alley, we had no issues nor did we see anything untoward. The real spectacle is on boardwalk.
Nestled on the beach, this Beach Cities apartment is within 1 mi (2 km) of Muscle Beach Venice and Venice Beach. Santa Monica Pier and Santa Monica College are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Pros: The staff is incredible- helpful, fast and friendly. It's fairly centrally located, at least for what we were in Los Angeles to do on this trip. 7-8 miles from Santa Monica, 7ish miles from Griffith Observatory. In a pinch, there's a Ralphs grocery store right accross the street (and there's a microwave and refrigerator in the room). Convenient valet ($20/night) parking in an area where there is none...at all...anywhere.
Cons: Minor issues: slow shower drain, horrific in-room coffee (there's a cafe w/Starbucks on site) and W Olympic Blvd is LOUD. The windows keep a lot of the noise out, we thought it was manageable.
Renovated in 2013. Courtyard by Marriott Century City/Beverly Hills is walking distance to excellant shopping at Westfield Century City Mall, and a mile from Beverly Hills and infamous Rodeo Drive. We are 3 miles from Westwood & UCLA, without ever having to get onto the freeway, 5 miles from Santa Monica beach and 3rd St Promenade. The Hotel offers an outdoor whirlpool and exercise area. We offer complimentary basic high-speed Internet access throughout the entire property. The Bistro, featuring Starbucks, is now open at 5am for coffee and breakfast from 6am. The Bistro is also open for lunch and dinner until 10:00pm serving great appitizers, salads and sandwiches. We also feature an event space featuring 530 square feet, perfect for small meetings.
Cons: Restaurants too expensive. Dirty glasses in room. Did not look like sheets had been changed
Cons: They didn't mention that you had to pay 35$ a night to park. A 200$ room for the night should come with parking.
Pros: The hotel was very big and clean
Cons: I liked everything
Cons: Our connecting Delta flight was cancelled due to the recent weather and system issues. We couldn't get another flight for 36hrs. After arriving at the hotel at 1am, I was told that a strict check-in time was 3pm. I explained the circumstances, but no one was accommodating. They kept explaining their check-in policy and advised not to fall asleep in the lobby or security would request us to leave. There were several travelers in the lobby for the same reason. As I saw hotel customers check out, I asking about room availability. I was told to wait until 9am when housekeeping arrives. At 9:30am, I asked for a room. I was then informed that I would have to pay $50 extra to get one of the first available rooms or continue to wait until 3pm! I had no choice but to pay extra. This was unacceptable!
Pros: There was a lot that hilton offered. To the point where we weren't able to do everything in the hotel for the 5 days we were there.
Cons: The only thing that was a struggle, is the narrow-ish drive in for the front of the hotel. If there's a busy day or event, good luck getting through the entrance with a vehicle.
Pros: the bar
Cons: shitty elevators, takes forever to get an elevator
Pros: This was Convenient with the continuous shuttles and proximity to the airport.
Cons: This hotel is in a serious need of an update for rooms. My room was on the third floor. Immediately walking into my non-smoking room I detected the smell of stale old tobacco have a room that had one smoking allowed. The carpet was old and the decor was dated. In the bathroom some of the woodwork showed moisture decay. The bathroom was small and the sink stood at about mid thigh of this 5' 7" guy. This was not what I would consider an ACA accessible room based on the size of the restroom so I don't understand why the sink was so low. Generally this room made me feel like I was staying at a seedy motel rather than a Hilton.
Pros: Room has a lot of facilities. Lobby is huge and luxurious. Breakfast was somehow rich. Staff are friendly.
Cons: Rooms were much smaller that the value expected vs. price paid. The toilet was not properly clean since there were long hairs in the sink and on the floor. Bathroom is so small for a Hilton.. I would have liked to have a personal scale in the room to weigh the luggage prior to going to the airport.
Cons: Called housekeeping for shampoos twice, and the second time the lady says it's on the way but I was waiting until checked out and nothing happened.
Pros: Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Nice rooms and comfortable bed with decent coffee in the rooms. We stayed on the airport side. Guess what though? Jets are very loud. Also, the garage is a bit like a coal mine with parking found somewhere near the earth's core
Cons: I will pay for the Wifi
Pros: Friendly staff. Easy check in. convenient to the airport. Large room. Clean room and comfortable beds.
