Pros. Staying at the Seawind Resort is comfortable luxury. The staff is friendly and go above and beyond. They help you arrange transportation from the airport to the hotel. The food is always homemade or made to order and different with each meal. They are always looking for ways to make your stay more comfortable. I was telling my sister that I was craving turron (which is not on the menu) and a few minutes later the server brought me fresh turron, free of charge! The security is above excellent. The hotel opens up to the beach so can freely walk up a and down from the hotel at your leisure. The security is on top of it, they know each guest by face and readily prevent non-guests from entering the premises. One time my boyfriend left his fitted SF hat on the beach and the next day the security guard handed it to him. The Seawind staff will do anything to make your stay more comfortable. They are very family oriented, it feels like home. My whole family and I love the Seawind Resort and are avid guests there, we refuse to stay anywhere else.
Cons. Nothing.
Pros. Clean room, staff was attentive, breakfast buffet was delicious, beaches weren't as crowded as station 2.
Cons. We booked a Super Deluxe Beachfront room expecting the view of the ocean. We had a view of another building; albeit we were facing the beach. Family members who were in the upper floors who also booked the same type of room had a view of palm trees. WiFi did not work in any of our rooms. We had to walk to the lobby to get any connection; the bar was expensive (1400 pesos = $28 for a bucket of 6 beers)
