If you’re coming to the city via Santa Barbra Airport (SBA), the most convenient way to get to the hotel would be by taking a taxi or rental car. Taxis are available in abundance outside the arrivals area, and you can have your pick from a range of rental cars at the rental car center. Thrifty, Enterprise, Hertz, and Dollar all have a desk at the airport, so you are almost guaranteed to get whichever type of rental car you want. If you want a more budget-friendly option, the bus is worth considering. They can be boarded from the bus stop on Moffett Road across from the Airline Terminal.
