Pool was a little chilly.
I liked the breakfast that was available every morning. I enjoyed the whirlpool but I think it should be only for adults! And the pool itself I thought could've been cleaner. The water was soo cloudy, my husband wouldn't even go into the pool!
Wark park None
We took our children and grandchildren for a weekend in Minneapolis. The pool is what sold us, as most in the area are standard, rectangular ones. The babies loved all the festive fun! I wish the pool would have been heated. It was a little cold for our grandchildren under 1 year old.
Location Free shuttle transportation Free breakfast - not too bad First time submitting a review....We made a reservation with an upgrade(paid more) and they gave us the wrong room. When asked to change us they told us that they were sold out. We didn't get a refund or anything at all. Once we made it into the wrong room the room wasn't clean, they even left dirty underwears in the bathroom, dirty dishes right outside our door and the carpet wasn't vacuumed. When called to get more towels, toilet paper and garbage bag (since they didn't cleaned the room) they took FOREVER. They finally came to clean up the room the next day. Oh BTW they never came to get the underwear, my husband threw them on the hallway. When we went to checked out and requested to talk to the general manager, he was on a "meeting". I will be calling everyday until we get our upgrade money back. We are NOT coming back there. We aren't too picky when it comes to hotels but this was just not right. Oh BTW when my husband went to get dinner he said that another couple was checking in and they didn't have a room, the hotel gave their room to someone else. CRAZY!
Broken coffee maker
Nice amenities and great staff. Within walking distance to MOA. Great pool for younger kids, with poolside service. Insulation between rooms is almost non existent. Can hear neighbors conversations with relative ease. Mostly an issue in early mornings or evenings. Also, the breakfast lines are pretty chaotic. Seating is limited and the flow is awkward.
The pool is excellent for kids. The breakfast was good. The hotel was very crowded. As a result the tables by the pool area were always messy with pizza boxes and other food remnants. Our room wasn't as clean upon check in as I would have liked or expected.
Very nice comfortable place to stay. I would recommend to others. Enjoyed the breakfast and free shuttle to and from the mall. Na
Wonderful and Professional staff, great food at restaurant. Great location near Mall of America-its directly attached. Key cards were not activated when we received them and my friend had to go back to the front desk to have it fixed while I ran around trying to find an open public bathroom. I was signed up for club Carlton as I left but was not credited for my current stay.
This was a return trip for our whole family. We loved the cute and comfortable rooms, the easy & convenient access to the MOA and the swimming pool was nice size and not crowded. The pool temperature could be higher. When we visited last June the temperature was perfect. The signage could be better for the parking elevator.
Booked for a quick weekend getaway. Highly recommend upgrading to a business class lodging - we stayed in one of the 'Naturally Cool' rooms - gorgeous and comfortable. Valet service was impeccable and courteous. We had an issue with our shower leaking the first night and wandered down to the bar while it was being fixed. We sat with a bartender named Sam - and were just in love. We wound up staying the rest of our night rather than heading out - she even called and made sure we had enough towels in our room when we returned. We will come back just for her. We returned for our second night because we knew she would be working again. She was an absolute joy; sunny, charming, genuine - she and Steven made our dinner on Saturday night memorable and special. The food was wonderful - Sam brought out the popovers for us to try (HOLY WOW) and Steven was spot on with his recommendation on the pork chop. We also shared the dry rubbed wings (AMAZING) and mac - they brought us out a key lime cheesecake to wrap it up which was divine. Great experience overall but the staff outshine the already shiny accommodations. Had an issue with our shower leaking the first night. We sopped up the water all over the bathroom floor with our towels as much as possible - the 'engineering' staff left them behind after they repaired the leak, which was a little gross.
Bed was comfortable Waiting to check in and out had long lines and took to long. Not enough front desk help since the information desk on second floor was not being used, so customers with questions had more than half the help busy answering questions.
Convenience of never having to leave the mall. Cleanliness Pool seem to be "under construction" according to a sign. We didn't see any construction but the pool water and pool area was too cold. Not appropriate temperature to enjoy being at an indoor pool during the cold months.
Modern decor The rudeness of some fellow guests.
Very nice location/ Price acceptable for the convience nothing
I was very surprised with how nice the place was for the price! I got a good deal on hotels. Com for $120 or so. Was very clean and everything was pretty close to brand new. Loved it and will certainly be back next time I'm in town
Love the location and the bar restaurant I would've loved a hot tub at the facility to relax and soothe the aching after shopping :)
The ambiance was wonderful. The chairs added an interesting touch to the hotel. We did not like that there was no hot tub.
Cleanliness, staff I was at the very end of the long hallway far away from the elevator
Room was OK Place was full of families and youth groups who ran up and down the hall and in an out of rooms... at one time I counted 26 kids in the hall way adjacent to my room door at 11pm....I understand...kids and teenagers will be kids but no security...no nothing I thought this was more of a business hotel...my mistake ,,,,particularly for the rate $170...overpriced ..it was a last minute choice booked online and I would NOT go back
Great value. Nice space within the room. Clean Accommodated our very early checkin. Helpful staff.
We have stayed at this hotel a number of times while visiting the Bloomington area to shop at the Mall of America or do other activities in the Twin Cities area. Always very good accommodations for a good price!
Nice hotel. Staff was very nice and pool and our room were clean. Overall a very nice hotel that is at a good price per night. Very close to the mall of America and other attractions. Booked this hotel thinking we were going to get a breakfast every morning. First morning we saw that the breakfast was actually $10.95. We where disappointed because this added unexpected cost to our trip.
The beds and pillows here are fantastic. Room was very clean, staff was very friendly. I did not have any issues with this place.
We came in the hotel late Saturday night, the front lady at the counter was extremely rude to us. She glared at us the entire time when I asked for an extension for check out time. Other than that the place was great.
Room was clean it was a very good value for the money being in an excellent location Heating unit was very poor. It would run for ever and get very hot then not run forever and get pretty cool. It was drafty when it wasn't running. We had it set on the very low side. About at 4 o'clock. Also someone should fix the vent fan in the swimming area! Very very loud and not relaxing! I got to a hotel to relax!
Location, rate, swimming pool. I extended my stay online & the front desk called me mid night, then 4am to confirm my stay, totally unprofessional & never heard of. When I voiced my complaint, only Ron tried to make things right to me by offering a discount for further stay, which is the only reason I didn't give "staff" the worst rating. The other staff did nothing. :-(
Nice and quiet environment with a comfy bed.
They stole money from my card and act as if they didn't see that I paid for my room the staff was very rud and the refuse to give me back my money they are thieves. Unprofessional and very rude. Rochelle and the other staff stole money from me and refused to return it even after I showed proof that I paid already and refused to give me a supvisor or the number to the complaint department. Nothing at all. The room was dirty the bed was very in comfortable and broke down
Shuttle to the airport and the MOA Morning brunch was good and relatively inexpensive--$11 Very quiet The bed was alright, not the best. They need some foam beds! There isn't much around this hotel. A Trader Joes, a Perkins and a couple other restaurants.
Room was cleaned and new towels the next day. Very convenient location. Pool seemed small and was busy.
I absolutely loved the overnight staff! They were kind and accomadating , they kept a light mood which was nice since i got in at 12. Very helpful. And the room was lovely and the bed was so comfortable i missed breakfast haha I don't have any complaints.
Close to mall of America. Front desk staff real nice. Dirty room. First night we found a kids sock, empty paper cup and washroom had long women's hair all over the floor, we dealt with that. But, the next night we found a baby shoe and a used condom by the leg of the bed. Gross!!
The staff was great! I did feel that the bathroom could have been cleaner. I found several dark hairs in the shower and near the toilet. Other than that, the room was great even while they were doing renovations.
Location Noises, mostly hearing hotel room doors slamming shut starting around 4:30AM then more frequently. People lagging and having loud conversations from about 9:00pm till around 1:00am
Good location I was so tired I cannot sleep they were making too much noise
Convenient shuttle to airport and Mall of America, average breakfast, clean, and friendly staff. Pool wasn't usable for young children - too deep.
Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Regular transport service to the airport and mall (from which I could connect to the Metro train) was great. The bed was too soft - made my back ache.
The hotel is close to airport and shopping and has concenient access to both Minneapolis and St. Paul. We have relatives in both cities so this made our visit convenient to both. The attached restaurant served good food and had friendly servers. If you are used to luxury hotels, this is not that. It's clean and beds are very comfortable. Free breakfast. But it is simple accommodations otherwise. I would label it a budget hotel stay.
Bathroom lighting inadequate, no ventilation available either. The absence of ventilation was a nuisance!
The price was right, I had no real complaints. Bed was clean and comfortable, location was good. My boyfriend said the pool was too cold.
Desk service, business center breakfast room was dirty and worn. Bathroom had repair issues, seat had been cleaned with a filthy rag or something, bathrrom floor full of dirt imprints, rook carpeting was wet and dirty. Room smelled of sewage every day(mild). HVAC did not have thermostatic controls, light switches on lamps were broken next to beds, now electric outlets at night stand. this list can go on and on
Location, the soft pillows and having Outback steakhouse connected to the hotel.
we missed the return shuttle from the MOA and had to take a cab. when we got to the hotel they reimbersed us the cab fare no questions asked. we would stay here again
It was great ! Excellent Customer service, lovely room and great breakfast options.
Helpful and friendly staff
Hotel was clean, up to date, staff very helpful. Have stayed in three MSP hotels in last month and a half and this was by far the nicest. Very convenient location.
The room was very elegant, yet not cluttered and very clean. Everything worked well, including the TV, and I enjoyed keeping my morning yogurt in the little fridge. I ordered oatmeal for breakfast for $7. It tasted very blah, perhaps it needed salt. But the bill had a $6 charge to deliver it to my room, plus they expected a tip. Not how it works.
The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We ordered pizza for dinner and it was delivered right to our room, which was very convenient. The water pressure in the shower could have been better and the towels were a little rough. Also the mini fridge took a long time to cool anything because it had to be turned on first when we got there.
Convenient location, parking ramp, comfortable beds, clean, friendly and helpful staff, interesting art work. Pool is a little small but at least square and not oddly shaped.
Rooms were clean, nice. Lobby is very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pizza from room service was not very tasty. The shuttle was hard to coordinate and connect.
The price, the pool, the fitness center, the cleanliness/appearance, the location. Pillows and beds were pretty bad. Not comfortable at all. No breakfast provided, unless you wanted to shell out $9 a person for a continental buffet.
The front desk staff Arrive at hotel, put our stuff down and leave. Come back later that night get into bed and see that there is blood on the sheets... I was already in the bed and had touched the area... This was detrimental to me... I was devastated.. We called the front desk , new sheets were brought up but we had to replace them ourselves... I literally can't think of anything worse than this.. Next morning we went down to tell the front desk staff they were apologetic but did nothing but a standard room cleaning... Will never stay at a Hilton again.
Comfy beds, great view, friendly staff. No adult swim time
It was a nice, clean hotel. The room was somewhat stylish but seemed like a makeover/renovation that was given half the effort needed. The bathroom and shower were smaller than I'd expect at a four star hotel.
Location No air conditioning, poor air circulation, No Pool and they did not tell us no pool. Construction was extremely messy and inconvenient. People guarding the parking lot and one guy told me I should move along.
The A/C in my room was not running good at all. It was 85 degrees out and I had the unit set at 68 and it felt like 80 still. Even having the AC running continuously it did nothing and it was a long nights sleep.
Clean quiet room. Meeting room was well set up and the sound system was good. Lela Restaurant was not a good experience. Our food came out late and not hot. I was serve the wrong vegetable. They offered to bring out the correct one after our food was served which I declined. When I was half way done with my meal they brought out the correct vegetable, which I again declined. My steak was ordered medium and it came out rare. My wife's shrimp pasta dish had 5 tiny shrimp in it. It took a very long time to clear our plates and bring the check. The front desk told us it was a 5 star restaurant. I would give it 3 stars at the highest.
The staff were polite and considerate. Room was wondering full and newly renovated and the rest of the hotel will be soon. Hotel is near mall of america and other fun attractions.
Very clean room, super friendly and helpful staff, the room is just beautiful. Comfortable beds. Fast free internet and free parking.
I thought it was really poor that on weekdays one would have to pay for wifi service
I enjoyed the atmosphere. The courteous staff. The comfy bed. Relaxing atmosphere. I got a good deal due to the construction. So I cannot complain too much. Very clean and comfortable. I would have given more stars if it wouldn't have been for a few minor things. Lobby was awesome. It was a lounge in the evening that turned into a Starbucks in the morning. Very convenient! Construction going on. Parking sucked. Although the front desk explained how to get on wi-fi, we still couldn't get on. There were a few minor cosmetic blemishes (lighting fixture, bathroom fixture) that weren't noticeable at first. But I did have a 2 day stay, so I noticed them. But I figured, building was still under construction and everything else was so awesome that I was able to overlook these minor blemishes.
Everything was 5 star! Comfortable beds, rooms were clean and spacious! Will be staying there everytime I visit Minnesota, and I travel there quite often!
There is no wifi in hotel
Staff were professional & helpful. Would definitely return.
The walls are to thin so you hear everything in the other rooms
Clean and comfortable.
This is minor but the hotel web site advertised rotating hot items for breakfast and the three days we were there the breakfast was the exact same each day. With that said, there was a nice variety, plenty of food, and no wait. Overall, really good, just a little variety would have made it even better.
Nice renovations but a bit further from the airport than expected.
First time using La Quinta Inn & Suites. .The service was excellent. Staff friendly and attentive. Hotel was clean with quit accommodations. Breakfast was great. Food fresh and hot, and food area clean. Will definitely return. Some structural cracks by elevator that need to be repaired.
Staff was helpful and friendly. Great prices. Rooms were spacious and well kept.
Had a pool Booked a king bed. Got two full sized instead. No kings availabe. Bummer... Front desk staff seemed to be overwhelmed with problems.
Pool, comfortable bed Tub drain stopper didn't stop, room had been smoked in and was very strong when we entered, hallway had odd cleaning smell which also came into room that had been smoked in, business center outdated and printer out of ink
I was in town for my father's funeral. The wake was starting at the same time as check in time. The front desk person allowed me to check in early so that I could get cleaned up and to the wake in a timely manner. It was most appreciated. Very classy.
Room was spacious and inviting. Clean and comfortable. Nice view. Good breakfast buffet. One elevator was down for renovation and the other was in great need of renovation. Carpet in the hallways was dated and worn.
Our stay started off on an awkward note when we were given keys to a room that was already assigned to someone. We walked in to clothes on the bed and quickly left. The front desk fixed it right away. The breakfast was good, just a little disorganized and not stocked. The room was great and comfortable. Nice location to get to downtown Minneapolis.
Very pleasant surroundings. Four star room. Bathroom sink cracked. Elevator renovation made this 18 floor hotel a little iffy at times. No restaurant or bar in hotel or within walking distance.
Nice staff The bedsheets clearly had not been changed from the previous guest.
The free breakfast and the price. There was no where to park-completely full.
Breakfast was very nice. NA
Mall of America The sheets had holes in them every day and I do not feel that we should have paid that amount of money when the sheets were threadbare. That is something you would get at a Super 8.
Friendly staff. Very well kept. Breakfast was amazing. Showers were great hot and high pressure. Quiet hotel room. Had a little trouble opening the room door
The hotel was very clean and had easy access to everything we were needing, both within the hotel and nearby to the areas of interest to us. Toilet had difficulty flushing. Needed work and to be updated.
The staff was fantastic Not enough room to work at desk and be able to walk in room. The desk and dresser should be switched around.
Convenient to our shopping area. We were bothered by a drunk man in the bar.
Staff was excellent. Shuttle drivers were exceptional and most accommodating.
Staff was very friendly
we were happy with the request to change to a different Country Inn when our business changed unexpectedly
Easy access to major highways and restuarants Would like to have seen sugar free items available for breakfast
I loved the Hotel room was nice staff was fantastic the breakfast was the best I have ever had. Shuttle to the mall was a good idea Bathroom in the room was way to small the rooms need a little updating and bigger pillows is a plus
the outside noise of people in the parking lot at TGIF's they party right and I got very little sleep up to 2:00 am in the morning....will get a romm on the other side next time if any....
The staff was very helpful and fun, also it's directly across the street from the Mall of America so even though they still provide a shuttle walking was just as easy. The Continental Breakfast was also good, lots of options.
The layout The extra towels provided upon request The two TVs The drab grey palette The door between the bedroom and bathroom (husband bumped his head on it -- it's in an awkward place in the king accessible room The waffles were soggy at breakfast
the bus to moa driver was very informative and offered to come get us if it got late
The shuttles were convenient for us to use. It was great for us to get to and from the Mall of America. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. I enjoyed the idea that both restaurants were easy to get to and we didn't have to go outside to get to them.
Location and shuttle service to airport and Mall of America. The complimentary food selection was pretty gross: BB-sized "scrambled" eggs, stale, stinking meat, no raisin bran cereal (only tubs of Cheerios, one of Coco Puffs), fruit and yogurt in OPEN bins (um, there were FLIES landing in this food, guys!) No decent baked goods (stale, plain bagels, no cinnamon toast even!) Just really disappointing food. PLUS: the room was NOT clean or upgraded. Fusty furniture (check your own Duluth hotel to see how it should be done!), and bathroom mirror frame CAKED with dust,. Ew. The AC/heat unit had a busted control panel, never fixed, so folks could poke around on the wiring and chip board - probably not even safe! This particular Country Inn & Suites needs to be checked out by management. It's really looking dated and dumpy.
It's convenient proximity to MOA and LR. No hot water for shower. I spoke with the front desk and they had a boiler problem and are to be reducing our rate by 50% on my credit card.
Close to meetings and entertainment for family. My son was disappointed that the whirlpool was not working at the time but otherwise, everything was fine.
efficient friendly staff
Location, Location, Location! Good breakfast - nice room, well lit parking lot. Comfortable bed and quiet room.
The staff were friendly and very helpful in answering my questions and meeting my needs. The hotel was clean, rooms were great. Keep kids out of the pool area and pool when the pool is reserved for adults.
Location good for shopping. Shuttle great. Staff courteous. No hot water for shower/bath. Front desk advised. Pay per view movie paused repeatedly. Charge removed. Food at breakfast slow to be replaced.
Good location by airport and mall of America Staff replied "I'm sorry the room wasn't clean to your standards" No, stale fries under the bed skirt (from the previous guest) is unacceptable by anyone's standards.
I am a local who twice a year needs to escape to work on a large project. I stay in my room and work. Housekeeping was great at keeping me supplied while not interrupting and the breakfasts were a great way to start my day! The doors shutting are LOUD. Wake a person out of a dead sleep. Would love to see some kind of softening of the frames to aid in this issue.
Location and breakfast I was given my room key and just before I left, they told me they gave me the wrong room number. I received a new key and went up to the room and someone was already in the room. I was checking in very late 1:30am and this could have ended badly, since I woke someone up.
The workout center needs an update. The treadmill did not work.
The first thing we noticed was the very friendly and helpful desk attendant. That was unusual, just by itself! We had a big room with a nice comfortable bed (though the pillows were a little lumpy). I really liked the iron/ironing board in the pull-down cabinet, very clever and sleek. There was only one small elevator in the hotel used by guests and employees, alike. It was dingy, slow and smelled. The lighting in both the room and the bathroom were too dim to put on make-up.
We stayed so close to Mall of America, and there was a Denny's right next door open 24/7. This was good because we got in at 1:00 am. Nice pool and workout room and good breakfast. Very clean.
It's next to a 24/7 Denny's restaurant. They have airport shuttle and relatively close to the airport. Didn't feel safe as we saw cops taking a report for something that happend earlier the night we arrived. Its very outdated hotel.
Room had new carpet and bed very comfortable. Everything was clean and lighting was adequate. Breakfast crew was awesome. They kept everything available and did it cheerfully. Dining room was also very clean and with enough space to serve/seat all who arrived for breakfast. First desk was also very efficient and helpful. This hotel was in a very good location for us and we enjoyed our stay! All rooms should be equipped with safety bars for getting in and out of the tub/shower area. It is difficult to climb out of a tub without anything to hold on to.
It's cheap, clean, and the staff is nice. But that's it. The building is very run down and depressing. Our fan in our bathroom was really rickety and loud.
Hotel had a strong smoke smell, very over whelming when we walked onto our floor. Cigarette butts lining the ground beneath our balcony.
Little. Got a free newspaper. Property is beat. Mgmt and staff not very customer friendly. Breakfast same stuff every day, low quality. Hotel needs a nakeover. Bed was reasonably comfirtablw. Sink and tub didn't drain well.
The staff was helpful. The rooms were big and clean. Very slow elevator. Took the stairs instead. Breakfast was pretty mediocre, but it was the labor day weekend, so very busy. Wifi did not work very well in the rooms. The hotel computer in the lobby was broken.
I was not expecting much. So when I arrived and was greeted by two warm and friendly desk agents I was pleased. When they upgraded me to women's floor It was a nice surprise even though I didn't know what it meant. The free light snacks were a nice treat. The room was absolutely gorgeous. Couldn't believe it. Glass tile shower with glass door. Everything looked brand new and high end and luxurious Theoughoutbthe room. The view is nonexistent but if you shut the curtains you can feel like you are in a very comfortable, stylish hotel with really sweet staff and nice amenities. Very comfortable bed and bedding and lots of outlets in convenient locations. Shuttle to the airport was great and took less than 15 minutes at 6am. Wi-fi was complimentary but slow. Location is all hotels and office buildings not very near Mall of America/airport.
The hot tub and pool were nice, and so were the rooms
Sink in bath. Shower door leaked at bottom seal. WiFi login screen too small for iPhone login.
Clean, quiet room. Bed sheets were too stiff. Beds needs a blanket & not just a sheet and thick, heavy comforter.
updated, clean, friendly staff, good location, reasonably priced construction next building made it a bit congested, but no noise on the weekend
Quiet room. Great bathroom & shower.
The room was comfortable & very clean and I liked the sleep well products I felt as though I was banished to the basement because I was a hotwire discount client. It was very lonely down there!
They charged me more money than they were supposed to for no particular reason. The floor wasn't vaccumed. The elevators smelled of marajuana. No complimentary breakfast.
It appeared to be a nice place and I was very happy to find such a nice place while being stranded in MSP airport all day with 2 children. Coke machines didn't work. Very confusing with the other Crowne Plaza being closer to the airport. It took over an hour to get from one hotel to the next because of the confusion.
Staff was nice The name of this hotel is intentionally misleading. It is over 30 minutes from the airport, yet is called the MSP/ MOA location, despite the fact that this chain has another location across the street from the airport. Shady.
The staff were awesome and it was a quiet hotel The buffet got few not bad options The house keeping touch everything. like I used a bottle of water and they kept throwing it although I put a note not to throw my bottle next time but still...
Location was great Beds were harder than we liked
The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Nothing
We were upgraded: received free breakfast/ snacks/drinks which compensated for expensive dinner consisting of sandwiches for 2@ $50!
Really appreciated the secure floor and shuttle services. There wasn't anything to dislike. We have enough negativity in the world. Stop whining and live on your feet, not on your knees!
very nice place to stay, close to shopping, restaurants; breakfast buffet was excellent, well worth the price.
The only thing I found exceptional about the Hilton was the housekeeper. She left our room very clean and always added a personal touch- she was also very friendly. The pool was clean. The front door service was very helpful and went out of their way with giving directions. small room/ poor shuttle service
1 hour wait to check in followed by the front desk person leaving her shift, and my family and I were left waiting in the lobby for our room, and I had to go back to the desk to check in a second time. one of the hot tubs was recirculating cold water, our room had no information for food options, and the front desk representative on checkout begged me not to give them a poor review.
Very close to the airport Deceptive website. There is an airport shuttle but parking is not free it is $15 a day. website did not state this.
It was located so close to where we wanted to go.
location, parking facilities, competent staff no
Hotel is very convenient for people who want to make a stop-over in Minneapolis. Tram stop is just in front of the hotel - 3 stops to Mall of America - 1 stop to Terminal 1. Internet speed is very poor!
Proximity to Mall of America; the room was quite comfortable. I liked the fact that there were many drawers in the room. We used the fitness center. The weights in the fitness center started at 5lbs. It would have been nice to have 3 lb weights, as I don't work out with heavy weights.
The hotel is near LRT station and easy to get to the mall of America. My room was next to elevator, but elevator was broken and created a lot of noise from 6PM to after midnight. Since I couldn’t sleep at all because of the noise, I complained front three times, but this didn’t help me at all. At midnight, I am so upset and I come to the front to directly complain. Then they provided another room for sleep. In principle, they didn’t do anything until I came to the front. This is the worst hotel I stayed in last ten years. I felt that they regarded me as a cheap guest.
Staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable The floor we were on had a lot of children and noise
We really liked the room. The construction makes the hotel look worse than it is.
Loved everything!!! It was a business trip with the hotel luxuries. My stay was extremely pleasant. Staff was so very helpful. It was a great stay - absolutely no complaints. That I didn't stay longer. It was a great stay.
The room layouts are spacious and comfortable. The remodel has rendered the place a bit corporate and sterile.
Beautiful! Clean! Great staff!!
Breakfast is always good. Stupid elevator was busted making every trip up and down a huge hassle.
We loved the suite, the tvs, the bed, the atrium area and dining area, the breakfast and managers reception and free parking (we just paid 45 dollars in chicago for one night parking) - we've been telling our friends how great you were. just the problem of finding a parking space as the hotel was so busy.
Beautiful place well kept nice big rooms Charging for Wi-Fi
It's where my wife and I got married. We absolutely love this hotel staff especially Gonzo was very friendly helpful. The rooms are amazing we got the executive suite and couldn't be happier! The only complaint is the wedding reception that was taking place was loud rude and very inconsiderate of other people in the hotel. I'm just glad that wasn't our wedding party
The big rooms and happy hour and breakfast are nice. The time before last that I stayed there, I had to rekey my keycard for my room 3 times at the front desk. Too much time going up and down the elevators.
Good value and a great stay near the airport. Close to airport. Clean room friendly staff.
The bed was very comfortable and the layout of the room was on trend and up to date. The walls blocked sound from adjacent rooms well, but being 6th floor out of 6 wasn't the best idea with plane noise. At least while there the plane traffic was from 8am-8pm, ok for most but not ideal with a baby. Not a complaint, more of a heads up. The pool temperature was waaaay too cold! Air temp in the pool area was great, but wish the pool were as warm. Lakes in MN are warmer right now!
breakfast was pretty great Blood on a pillow case. Nasty. We didn't use that pillow.
We arrived and there was no room available although we had a "guarantee" room reservation we PAID IN FULL FOR. Hyatt did not find us another room and hotels.com was of no help either. STILL DONT HAVE MONEY BACK.
Friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast and many extra touches of class.
Really liked the cleanliness of the room. The breakfast was very nice. Very easy check in and out. Hospitable and friendly staff. Didn't understand why there were no bags in the garbage containers in the room. The pool area was WAY too small for the size of the hotel. Water was only about 4 feet high. Also, not a huge deal, but we were getting ready with an hour to go before checkout, and a housekeeper came into our room assuming that we had already left. Just glad nothing private was going on... We had used the shuttle to visit Mall of America and were disappointed to discover that there was not enough transportation for the guests that needed a lift. Were we there for one pickup and had to wait an additional half hour to get seating an another bus.
The hotel is only a few minute drive from the airport and the mall of America. They also have a shuttle that goes to the mall as well which is very convenient. The beds are very comfortable and the continental breakfast was great as well. The pool area is a little small so it can become cramped at times. I do wish they had faster wifi but that is just my preference. Overall this is a hotel I will continue to visit.
Room was well kept and clean. I liked the set-up with the desk in a different section of the room and the bed. Made if feel less like a motel room. Little bit hard to get back to from the road since it shares the entry way with the Hampton.
The check in process was really quick. The room was decent and had a fridge and microwave. Someone tried to enter the room with a key early in the morning and it was not the maid. They did clean the room every day or leave the right amount of fresh towels. We had to go to the desk for everything that the maid should have done on the 2nd day of stay.
Friendly and great for the money! The outlets in the room were worn, and things we plugged in like phone chargers and hair straighteners fell out easily.
The bed was comfortable and a good size (we got a king), the room was clean, a bit small but we don't need much room. The person who checked us in was very friendly. We could hear other people in their rooms, but it wasn't a big deal. The shower door leaked, but not a ton of water. The main thing that irritated me was being totally ignored by the people at the front desk when we tried to check out. One of them was on the phone, but the other pretended we weren't there while we stood there for five minutes. She wasn't even busy, just sitting on a chair minding her own business. We eventually left the cards on the desk and left.
Staff was great Facilities were dated and not kept up
For the location the price was good Could use some updates
Location, bed, price, breakfast!, parking
Cheap hotel price, comfy beds. Breakfast.
We stayed to bridge a couple of days between closing on a home sale and getting into the new place. We were budget minded but had to find a place that would accommodate cats. La Quinta fit the criteria. We also liked the fact that breakfast was thrown in. The bed was comfortable and the TV was fine. The cooling was comfortable. Bathroom was fine. We had no computer so made use of the free one in the lobby. It was primitive but okay to check email. One of the security doors was not closed. We forced it shut, then found our security key would not work in it. For reasons unknown, our key card stopped working altogether, so we went to the service desk to get that corrected. We turned in one key and were told both keys would be electronically corrected. In fact, the one key worked but the other did not.
The hotel was very close to the Mall of America, the airport and has a cross walk over to the Taco Bell across the freeway which was great! My friend and I also really liked that there was a bus route that stops at the front of the hotel and took us right to the convention center in Minneapolis for our conference! Pretty decent continental breakfast and comfy pillows! The room did not have a mini-fridge which did not help the fact that we had a fruit and veggie plate which went bad after a night or two. We were given the handicapped hotel room which was great for space but the shower handle did not stay put or hang high enough to use as a shower head. As well, the bathroom was not cleaned out very well and this room was right beside the freeway so every night my friend and I slept with ear plugs, which helped block out the sounds.
I liked that the front desk guy was very nice. I dislike that I did NOT get the room I paid for! And when switched rooms I still did NOT get it!
Location Just about everything. I won't stay there again.
it was just OK nothing really special. Waited an hour for the airport shuttle for pick upoutside from the airport. Staff not very helpul.
I booked the super 8 20 minutes before we arrived. check in was easy and the staff were friendly. The bed was so comfy and the bathroom/shower was perfect for a quick rinse and to get ready in the morning. We could only get a smoking room and the smell stayed on our clothes after our visit.
The price and customer service 0
All of the desk staff and Joey the van transporter!!! Very good!
Airport shuttle Noise, craftsmen hotel
That it was pet friendly! The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. The bed was too soft and actually felt like the mattress should be replaced :( It would be nice if the breakfast room could be left open other than at breakfast (with all the food, etc. put away of course), just so people have somewhere to sit and work or read, other than just their room.
Good location, gym on site, free breakfast, airport shuttle, friendly and courteous staff. The room I was assigned had bedbugs. I saw one crawling across my bed after a blood meal. I thought it was something I brought in my luggage at first and crushed it, but in the morning, I woke up with 20-some bites over my arms and chest. Looking back at reviews, there have been bedbug problems since at least 2011.
Absolutely nothing! They left my wife and I stranded at the airport for over an hour. Desk never told the driver. Hotel is ten minutes from the airport. Front desk staff not a people person. Do yourself a favor...never stay there.
The location of the hotel from Ikea and The mall of America. The room that was given to me was next to the elevator and whenever someone used it, it would make a sound which could be heard in the room which disturbed my sleep the whole night. Guests were smoking in the corridor and could smell it inside the room. Guests were washing clothes at night in the machine exactly opposite the room. We wanted to extend our stay in the hotel, instead we moved to another hotel. Staff was less bothered with the feedback given.
The hotel was a nice hotel. However, Booking.com had me booked for a double queen on line and it had come through as a single queen. Even a phone call to Booking.com did not get it resolved. But the hotel made it right for me.
Need better curtains.....too much light gets in the room because the curtains are sheer.
Comfortable bed. Room smelled a little odd. Microwave in room would have been nice.
Very close to the airport. Far from downtown but with a tram station 5 minutes walking from the hall.
friendly staff, closeness to Mall of America
Close to mall. Couldn't walk to mall due to construction. At the end of the Minn/St Paul Intl airport runway.
I was unable to apply my Marriott rewards since I checked in with a third party and not directly through the Marriott corp. I was unawRe of this policy prior.
Bed was comfortable, room was decent, staff was very nice Just little things like stickers on wall that were missed, bathroom mirror wasn't cleaned full of smudges
I would like it if you had hot tubs in the rooms. With all the kids I was not able to relax in the pool area.
