Location, the soft pillows and having Outback steakhouse connected to the hotel.
Desk service, business center breakfast room was dirty and worn. Bathroom had repair issues, seat had been cleaned with a filthy rag or something, bathrrom floor full of dirt imprints, rook carpeting was wet and dirty. Room smelled of sewage every day(mild). HVAC did not have thermostatic controls, light switches on lamps were broken next to beds, now electric outlets at night stand. this list can go on and on
I absolutely loved the overnight staff! They were kind and accomadating , they kept a light mood which was nice since i got in at 12. Very helpful. And the room was lovely and the bed was so comfortable i missed breakfast haha I don't have any complaints.
Prompt service. Hotel halls and rooms were "tired".
The hotel is close to airport and shopping and has concenient access to both Minneapolis and St. Paul. We have relatives in both cities so this made our visit convenient to both. The attached restaurant served good food and had friendly servers. If you are used to luxury hotels, this is not that. It's clean and beds are very comfortable. Free breakfast. But it is simple accommodations otherwise. I would label it a budget hotel stay.
Good location I was so tired I cannot sleep they were making too much noise
Does that make any sense? This is a 2 star hotel for a reason....dated facilities, older building, musty smell in halls, heavily chlorinated pool, average breakfast. The best part was a friendly staff, easy access/shuttle to MOA an airport, updated beds/carpet, and plenty of towels. They were awesome and let me check in two hours early and check out one hour late. Hotel smelled kinda musty but the AC cranked helped cover it a bit while in the room. The pool was way too deep for young children though. Given the choice, I would opt for a nicer hotel next time.
Bathroom lighting inadequate, no ventilation available either. The absence of ventilation was a nuisance!
Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Regular transport service to the airport and mall (from which I could connect to the Metro train) was great. The bed was too soft - made my back ache.
The location was good for what I needed (near the airport for a late night arrival and an early AM departure). The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was down for maintenance for another week or two - none of which was communicated to me prior to checking in. I did not like the fact that the breakfast eating area is around the pool so if the pool was available, it would be uncomfortable doing my morning swim while people were sitting around eating. The electrical plug-ins in the sleeping area were dangerous - one had the face plate completely off; another one was so loose that my cord would not stay plugged in. The exercise room was small and hardly had any equipment.
Convenient shuttle to airport and Mall of America, average breakfast, clean, and friendly staff. Pool wasn't usable for young children - too deep.
The price was right, I had no real complaints. Bed was clean and comfortable, location was good. My boyfriend said the pool was too cold.
Convenient to our shopping area. We were bothered by a drunk man in the bar.
Staff was excellent. Shuttle drivers were exceptional and most accommodating.
The staff was fantastic Not enough room to work at desk and be able to walk in room. The desk and dresser should be switched around.
Easy access to major highways and restuarants Would like to have seen sugar free items available for breakfast
we were happy with the request to change to a different Country Inn when our business changed unexpectedly
Staff was very friendly
Breakfast was very nice. NA
Friendly staff. Very well kept. Breakfast was amazing. Showers were great hot and high pressure. Quiet hotel room. Had a little trouble opening the room door
The hotel was very clean and had easy access to everything we were needing, both within the hotel and nearby to the areas of interest to us. Toilet had difficulty flushing. Needed work and to be updated.
The free breakfast and the price. There was no where to park-completely full.
Mall of America The sheets had holes in them every day and I do not feel that we should have paid that amount of money when the sheets were threadbare. That is something you would get at a Super 8.
I loved the Hotel room was nice staff was fantastic the breakfast was the best I have ever had. Shuttle to the mall was a good idea Bathroom in the room was way to small the rooms need a little updating and bigger pillows is a plus
We have stayed at this hotel a number of times while visiting the Bloomington area to shop at the Mall of America or do other activities in the Twin Cities area. Always very good accommodations for a good price!
Room was OK Place was full of families and youth groups who ran up and down the hall and in an out of rooms... at one time I counted 26 kids in the hall way adjacent to my room door at 11pm....I understand...kids and teenagers will be kids but no security...no nothing I thought this was more of a business hotel...my mistake ,,,,particularly for the rate $170...overpriced ..it was a last minute choice booked online and I would NOT go back
Nice and quiet environment with a comfy bed.
Nice hotel. Staff was very nice and pool and our room were clean. Overall a very nice hotel that is at a good price per night. Very close to the mall of America and other attractions. Booked this hotel thinking we were going to get a breakfast every morning. First morning we saw that the breakfast was actually $10.95. We where disappointed because this added unexpected cost to our trip.
Location, rate, swimming pool. I extended my stay online & the front desk called me mid night, then 4am to confirm my stay, totally unprofessional & never heard of. When I voiced my complaint, only Ron tried to make things right to me by offering a discount for further stay, which is the only reason I didn't give "staff" the worst rating. The other staff did nothing. :-(
The beds and pillows here are fantastic. Room was very clean, staff was very friendly. I did not have any issues with this place.
The staff was terrible. They turned my daughter and grand children away at 330am even though the room was paid for. So I had to get out of my bed at home and go to the hotel at 4am. Abd when I got there the lady at the desk said she didn't give them their rooms because she wanted to be sure they were the right people. Total discrimination. She was white and my family is black. And both my daughter and her friend names were already in the computer. It was my worst hotel experience ever
Shuttle to the airport and the MOA Morning brunch was good and relatively inexpensive--$11 Very quiet The bed was alright, not the best. They need some foam beds! There isn't much around this hotel. A Trader Joes, a Perkins and a couple other restaurants.
Price was good. Our 2nd stay there. Location is good. Hotel was full but quiet Housekeeping didn't come until 4:30 the next day. By then, I only accepted new towels. Showerhead was not good. TV didn't work-Called maintenance but found the cord partially unplugged from back of tv. Maintenance did come but by then I had it powered on. Then it quit again and said no signal. Had to tighten the coax in order for it to work.
Bus is convient Bar didn't open @ 5:oo pm
Room was clean it was a very good value for the money being in an excellent location Heating unit was very poor. It would run for ever and get very hot then not run forever and get pretty cool. It was drafty when it wasn't running. We had it set on the very low side. About at 4 o'clock. Also someone should fix the vent fan in the swimming area! Very very loud and not relaxing! I got to a hotel to relax!
The room was nice and clean. I appreciated having a mini-fridge in the room. The omelet at the breakfast buffet was very good. I appreciated that the heat/cooling unit in the room had a "constant air" option to provide white noise. The bartender claimed he didn't know how to make any of the cocktails offered. I found that a bit odd, but he was friendly and we were happy with his service.
We stayed one night for my husband's birthday. I was asked at check in what brought us, and when we came back after dinner, there was a piece of cake and a nice handwritten card. Made our day. It was clean and the pool area is very nice. The salt water pool and whirlpool are wonderful. I love that the whirlpool is circulated with water instead of air, as it is SO much quieter that way and we could visit easily while sitting in the water. At 4am, the room on one side of us had their alarm go off and it took several minutes for them to shut it off. Then, about 5 minutes later, the room on the other side started watching tv so loudly, we finally had to call the desk and ask them to have the patrons turn it down. It was 4am, after all. All of that to say, while the hotel was not responsible for the tv or the alarm - the walls are thin. (the reason for the 4 instead of the 5) We turned on the air conditioner fan as white noise and wished we'd slept all night that way. So - bring ear plugs if night noises bother you...or turn on the fan.
Location and nice sizes rooms, Bar and restaurant
After the incident with the Tub, they had a new room ready and room keys brought up to us in a matter of minutes. I was astounded at how quickly they handled the issue on Valentine's Day. The Jacuzzi Tub has a flat top faucet which looks sleek and modern but evidently not the best design. Turned on the water to begin filling the Large 2 person whirlpool and went to the bathroom. I come out to find the top part of this sleekly designed faucet had come off thanks to the cheap adhesive holding it in place and watch was both going in the tub and in front of the tub soaking the surrounding carpet to a sponge like feeling.
We liked having the shuttle to the Mall of America. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. Although the room faced the interstate, it was quiet. The room was smaller than I'd expected, and it wasn't a great price.
The staff was very friendly and accommodations were nice. That I hit a button on the tv and accidentally ordered an $18 movie! That is outrageous and I couldn't go back and delete.
It looked nice and up to date The bed was rock hard
Our room was very spacious and comfortable and best of all, quiet. The staff was very friendly at check in and in the restaurant. Breakfast was excellent.
lobby was very nice, shuttle guy took a while to do things but got stuff done. Breakfast was very tasty with a chef making omlets and whatever shape pancake you'd like (one kid got dinosaur shaped ones). breakfast cost quite a bit
It was quiet and clean! We never heard any hallway noise or distruptions from other guests! The staff was helpful, courteous and accommodating! The kayak price that I got was fantastic! We will be back! We really would have liked to have adjoining rooms.I would like a rewards program.
This facility is in excellent shape and very clean. All staff members were very pleasant and eager to make sure we had a great stay. I especially noticed how easy to achieve a comfortable temperature in the room and how quiet the HVAC system was. The temperature didn't seem to fluctuate at all. There wasn't anything to be disappointed in at this location.
My daughter and I felt very safe and welcome. Room was comfortable. Easy to find property. Close to shopping and eating!
The shuttles were convenient for us to use. It was great for us to get to and from the Mall of America. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. I enjoyed the idea that both restaurants were easy to get to and we didn't have to go outside to get to them.
The staff were friendly and very helpful in answering my questions and meeting my needs. The hotel was clean, rooms were great. Keep kids out of the pool area and pool when the pool is reserved for adults.
The staff was very helpful and fun, also it's directly across the street from the Mall of America so even though they still provide a shuttle walking was just as easy. The Continental Breakfast was also good, lots of options.
Location good for shopping. Shuttle great. Staff courteous. No hot water for shower/bath. Front desk advised. Pay per view movie paused repeatedly. Charge removed. Food at breakfast slow to be replaced.
It's convenient proximity to MOA and LR. No hot water for shower. I spoke with the front desk and they had a boiler problem and are to be reducing our rate by 50% on my credit card.
Location and shuttle service to airport and Mall of America. The complimentary food selection was pretty gross: BB-sized "scrambled" eggs, stale, stinking meat, no raisin bran cereal (only tubs of Cheerios, one of Coco Puffs), fruit and yogurt in OPEN bins (um, there were FLIES landing in this food, guys!) No decent baked goods (stale, plain bagels, no cinnamon toast even!) Just really disappointing food. PLUS: the room was NOT clean or upgraded. Fusty furniture (check your own Duluth hotel to see how it should be done!), and bathroom mirror frame CAKED with dust,. Ew. The AC/heat unit had a busted control panel, never fixed, so folks could poke around on the wiring and chip board - probably not even safe! This particular Country Inn & Suites needs to be checked out by management. It's really looking dated and dumpy.
efficient friendly staff
Close to meetings and entertainment for family. My son was disappointed that the whirlpool was not working at the time but otherwise, everything was fine.
The layout The extra towels provided upon request The two TVs The drab grey palette The door between the bedroom and bathroom (husband bumped his head on it -- it's in an awkward place in the king accessible room The waffles were soggy at breakfast
Location, Location, Location! Good breakfast - nice room, well lit parking lot. Comfortable bed and quiet room.
the bus to moa driver was very informative and offered to come get us if it got late
the outside noise of people in the parking lot at TGIF's they party right and I got very little sleep up to 2:00 am in the morning....will get a romm on the other side next time if any....
It was quiet we really want a small refrigerator in the room. The breakfast was not very good
Very clean and friendly atmosphere. Great breakfast. Bed was a bit on the firm side.
Friendly staff. Great location for zoo, mall, twins game. Pool area was very clean and always had plenty of towels.
Reasonable facilities for the value
I liked the bedding and the updated bathroom The chain bolt on the door seemed loose, the coffee maker was in the bathroom
Close to shopping and airport
I only liked the location The employees were horrible
The fact it had a kitchen in it. The free breakfast was really only coffee and some breakfast bars. No fruit or anything worth eating.
Distance. Just as indicated above.
Location No washcloths or maid service :(!!
The spacious room was wonderful. The staff were a delight! Everything was great!
Proximity to the airport was helpful. This place was filthy. I took a picture of the shower as I felt we would get some kind of foot fungus from being barefoot in there. Our hallway reeked of pot and insence to the point that we had to leave and go buy liquor so we could fall asleep.
it was a great location the room smelled like smoke and they just had a blanket and sheet on the bed the blanket had cigarette burns on it we had to sleep with the windows open for air the hallways stunk and just granola bars for breakfast and a muffin they could of had more
Location to airport
Micro and fridge Staff upset because was15teem minutes early
The staff is always amazing. They are fortunate to have the staff that they do. The first room I had smelled like dog. I asked for a different room and they gave me one that smelt ok but definitely had some water damage.
Always have space available They never have enough towels
location dirty room and sheets no complete cooking supplies
I enjoyed the atmosphere. The courteous staff. The comfy bed. Relaxing atmosphere. I got a good deal due to the construction. So I cannot complain too much. Very clean and comfortable. I would have given more stars if it wouldn't have been for a few minor things. Lobby was awesome. It was a lounge in the evening that turned into a Starbucks in the morning. Very convenient! Construction going on. Parking sucked. Although the front desk explained how to get on wi-fi, we still couldn't get on. There were a few minor cosmetic blemishes (lighting fixture, bathroom fixture) that weren't noticeable at first. But I did have a 2 day stay, so I noticed them. But I figured, building was still under construction and everything else was so awesome that I was able to overlook these minor blemishes.
It was a nice, clean hotel. The room was somewhat stylish but seemed like a makeover/renovation that was given half the effort needed. The bathroom and shower were smaller than I'd expect at a four star hotel.
Clean quiet room. Meeting room was well set up and the sound system was good. Lela Restaurant was not a good experience. Our food came out late and not hot. I was serve the wrong vegetable. They offered to bring out the correct one after our food was served which I declined. When I was half way done with my meal they brought out the correct vegetable, which I again declined. My steak was ordered medium and it came out rare. My wife's shrimp pasta dish had 5 tiny shrimp in it. It took a very long time to clear our plates and bring the check. The front desk told us it was a 5 star restaurant. I would give it 3 stars at the highest.
There is no wifi in hotel
Very clean room, super friendly and helpful staff, the room is just beautiful. Comfortable beds. Fast free internet and free parking.
The staff were polite and considerate. Room was wondering full and newly renovated and the rest of the hotel will be soon. Hotel is near mall of america and other fun attractions.
Location No air conditioning, poor air circulation, No Pool and they did not tell us no pool. Construction was extremely messy and inconvenient. People guarding the parking lot and one guy told me I should move along.
I thought it was really poor that on weekdays one would have to pay for wifi service
Everything was 5 star! Comfortable beds, rooms were clean and spacious! Will be staying there everytime I visit Minnesota, and I travel there quite often!
The walls are to thin so you hear everything in the other rooms
The A/C in my room was not running good at all. It was 85 degrees out and I had the unit set at 68 and it felt like 80 still. Even having the AC running continuously it did nothing and it was a long nights sleep.
Staff were professional & helpful. Would definitely return.
Used the water park and went to the Mall of America I didn't like it when the maid service knocks on the door before it's check out time.
The proximity to the mall of America. I wish the hot tub and pool were available to guests without having to pay for water park access.
the rooms, parking, close to malls, lineups at water park were fair to good. would be nice to get a better family discount on waterpark while staying at hotel.
The water park slides, the mall was close, the rooms were big and clean and there was a breakfas buffet. my credit card was charged twice
Although we had several small problems come up, they were attended to quickly. The staff was always courteous. It was really nice to have one of the elevators right by the wate rpark so we didn't have to go through the lobby in our bathing suits. The only option for swimming was the big water slide which was quite expensive, even with the hotel discount. Although the problems were attended to, they either happened again or weren't actually fixed.
comfortable beds, clean and spacious rooms
Everything was great!
Clean, quiet, very close to major shopping attractions. Any and all local calls cost 75 cents each, a totally unneccessary charge.
thought water park was included and they were rude about telling me it wasn't. the room was far to warm and we kept trying to turn it down but it never cooled down so we left at 5:30 in the morning because we couldn't sleep any way.
very nice place to stay, close to shopping, restaurants; breakfast buffet was excellent, well worth the price.
Very close to the airport Deceptive website. There is an airport shuttle but parking is not free it is $15 a day. website did not state this.
Really appreciated the secure floor and shuttle services. There wasn't anything to dislike. We have enough negativity in the world. Stop whining and live on your feet, not on your knees!
The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Nothing
We were upgraded: received free breakfast/ snacks/drinks which compensated for expensive dinner consisting of sandwiches for 2@ $50!
1 hour wait to check in followed by the front desk person leaving her shift, and my family and I were left waiting in the lobby for our room, and I had to go back to the desk to check in a second time. one of the hot tubs was recirculating cold water, our room had no information for food options, and the front desk representative on checkout begged me not to give them a poor review.
The only thing I found exceptional about the Hilton was the housekeeper. She left our room very clean and always added a personal touch- she was also very friendly. The pool was clean. The front door service was very helpful and went out of their way with giving directions. small room/ poor shuttle service
Convenient location, parking ramp, comfortable beds, clean, friendly and helpful staff, interesting art work. Pool is a little small but at least square and not oddly shaped.
we missed the return shuttle from the MOA and had to take a cab. when we got to the hotel they reimbersed us the cab fare no questions asked. we would stay here again
The front desk staff Arrive at hotel, put our stuff down and leave. Come back later that night get into bed and see that there is blood on the sheets... I was already in the bed and had touched the area... This was detrimental to me... I was devastated.. We called the front desk , new sheets were brought up but we had to replace them ourselves... I literally can't think of anything worse than this.. Next morning we went down to tell the front desk staff they were apologetic but did nothing but a standard room cleaning... Will never stay at a Hilton again.
The price, the pool, the fitness center, the cleanliness/appearance, the location. Pillows and beds were pretty bad. Not comfortable at all. No breakfast provided, unless you wanted to shell out $9 a person for a continental buffet.
The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We ordered pizza for dinner and it was delivered right to our room, which was very convenient. The water pressure in the shower could have been better and the towels were a little rough. Also the mini fridge took a long time to cool anything because it had to be turned on first when we got there.
Helpful and friendly staff
Hotel was clean, up to date, staff very helpful. Have stayed in three MSP hotels in last month and a half and this was by far the nicest. Very convenient location.
The room was very elegant, yet not cluttered and very clean. Everything worked well, including the TV, and I enjoyed keeping my morning yogurt in the little fridge. I ordered oatmeal for breakfast for $7. It tasted very blah, perhaps it needed salt. But the bill had a $6 charge to deliver it to my room, plus they expected a tip. Not how it works.
Rooms were clean, nice. Lobby is very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pizza from room service was not very tasty. The shuttle was hard to coordinate and connect.
It was great ! Excellent Customer service, lovely room and great breakfast options.
Comfy beds, great view, friendly staff. No adult swim time
Great room and an excellent location near MSP
Staff was excellent and room was very nice. The breakfast was fair. Pool was absolutely packed with children. I couldn't close the toilet door without moving sideways it was very odd. No bathtub.
The staff were very nice. The motel was clean. I walked to the lite rail station a few times ( 3 minutes) Modern feel to it. This is probably not big to most; but i like the fact that the fan on the cooling unit can be on constantly. I most not have looked close enough at the web site; it has a pool but the is NOT a whirlpool and our room did not have a tub, only a large shower.

Really like the room set up, with comfortable sitting area separated from the sleeping area. It's roomy and open. Staff was friendly, location is close to airport and Mall of America. Nope

Convenient, clean, staff helpful and a good breakfast. Wish the bathroom were a bit larger but a very nice shower. Also, I wish a restaurant would have been within walking distance.

Location and sitting area in room. Liked pull out sofa bed. Requested double room a week out & mentioned late check in...did not get it. Needed pillows & blanket for pull out, waited 30 mins & made 2 more calls to check on it-finally had to get dressed & go down to desk to get it-no apology Won't return

The location There was someone else's water bottle in my room.....ewww! Also, they had a food case for purchase but no prices; dpn't like that.
Great layout Cleanliness Ability to connect computer to screen Great customer service
Beds were very comfortable, room set up was nice No refrigerator or microwave in the room
*Note: This is a 2 star hotel. So I am not comparing it to a 5 star hotel. I'm comparing to other 2 star hotels. And in this situation, it did a fabulous job for a 2 star. The cost!! (I spent more on my rental car) The location (close to airport and Mall of America) Clean linens and towels every day Friendly staff The TV and channels were great Bed was really comfy Blackout curtains Could keep an eye on my car as my window overlooked where I parked it NO BED BUGS!! (Two three to five star hotels in the area did have bed bug reports -- NOT THIS PLACE.) Close to Walmart! The staff was super helpful with the gentleman that was in before me as another agency had double booked him at the hotel and she reconfirmed he understood he was going to get charged if he didn't make some calls to this third party. She got all the information he needed collected and was super attentive to this problem that she had spotted and made sure was emphasized. Definitely went the extra mile. The carpet in my room was pretty coarse under my feet, felt dirty The upper floors reeked of cigarette. Room was pretty small. But it wasn't my intention to hang out at the hotel. Just have a place to crash at night. The remote control on my TV couldn't turn the TV on, BUT it could switch the channels once I turned it on manually.
Front desk Staff are extrey rude. Tried to cancle my reseervation and was charged anyway
I loved the location super close to the mall of America and wal Mart, bed was comfy No pool wish there was one The rooms had musty smell No mini fridge or microwave Breakfast was not good
Bathrooms were clean Beds a little lumpy Thin walls...u could hear ppls conversations
They were open, LOL I called the hotel and asked about being able to park there for a few days and get a shuttle to the airport, when I checked in, I asked about setting up the shuttle the next morning she said we can get a ride but said I could not park there, only in the winter do they offer that. I told her I talked to someone there when I booked and she said that they were wrong on telling me that. The ONLY reason I booked this hotel was for that feature, she told me I could go down the road and use the Park n' Go. So I spent 80. (checked in at 10pm and out at 3:30am we had a early flight) and then 76. for the park n' Go. I will not make another stay at this hotel.
free shuttle to airport, 24 hours a day room smelled of cigarette smoke TV reception was fuzzy
It was clean, the staff was awesome, and the price was great. We were told we would have a suite with a separate sitting area. When we got there they did not have any suites. So we spent two nights with four adults in one little room. The breakfast was just cereal and bagels. So a bit disappointed but everything was clean and well cared for.
comfortable room, front desk staff great No fridge in room; difficult with meds that need to be kept cold
It was close to the airport and provided a prompt shuttle
Mind your own business type Not a focused group of audience... No fun
staff was friendly, great selection of cable channels, lots of towels and bathroom and bed very clean. Breakfast in the morn. wide selection of drinks like coffee, decafe, hot choc. and muffins, instant oatmeal and microwave downstairs to heat up food all day. no mini fridge in room, no micro in room, no coffee maker in room, carpet and chair could use cleaning.
Our stay started off on an awkward note when we were given keys to a room that was already assigned to someone. We walked in to clothes on the bed and quickly left. The front desk fixed it right away. The breakfast was good, just a little disorganized and not stocked. The room was great and comfortable. Nice location to get to downtown Minneapolis.
Nice staff The bedsheets clearly had not been changed from the previous guest.
I was in town for my father's funeral. The wake was starting at the same time as check in time. The front desk person allowed me to check in early so that I could get cleaned up and to the wake in a timely manner. It was most appreciated. Very classy.
The room layouts are spacious and comfortable. The remodel has rendered the place a bit corporate and sterile.
The big rooms and happy hour and breakfast are nice. The time before last that I stayed there, I had to rekey my keycard for my room 3 times at the front desk. Too much time going up and down the elevators.
Breakfast is always good. Stupid elevator was busted making every trip up and down a huge hassle.
Loved everything!!! It was a business trip with the hotel luxuries. My stay was extremely pleasant. Staff was so very helpful. It was a great stay - absolutely no complaints. That I didn't stay longer. It was a great stay.
We loved the suite, the tvs, the bed, the atrium area and dining area, the breakfast and managers reception and free parking (we just paid 45 dollars in chicago for one night parking) - we've been telling our friends how great you were. just the problem of finding a parking space as the hotel was so busy.
It's where my wife and I got married. We absolutely love this hotel staff especially Gonzo was very friendly helpful. The rooms are amazing we got the executive suite and couldn't be happier! The only complaint is the wedding reception that was taking place was loud rude and very inconsiderate of other people in the hotel. I'm just glad that wasn't our wedding party
We really liked the room. The construction makes the hotel look worse than it is.
Beautiful place well kept nice big rooms Charging for Wi-Fi
Beautiful! Clean! Great staff!!
Need better curtains.....too much light gets in the room because the curtains are sheer.
Close to mall. Couldn't walk to mall due to construction. At the end of the Minn/St Paul Intl airport runway.
friendly staff, closeness to Mall of America
The hotel was a nice hotel. However, Booking.com had me booked for a double queen on line and it had come through as a single queen. Even a phone call to Booking.com did not get it resolved. But the hotel made it right for me.
Comfortable bed. Room smelled a little odd. Microwave in room would have been nice.
I would like it if you had hot tubs in the rooms. With all the kids I was not able to relax in the pool area.
I was unable to apply my Marriott rewards since I checked in with a third party and not directly through the Marriott corp. I was unawRe of this policy prior.
Bed was comfortable, room was decent, staff was very nice Just little things like stickers on wall that were missed, bathroom mirror wasn't cleaned full of smudges
Very close to the airport. Far from downtown but with a tram station 5 minutes walking from the hall.
I booked the super 8 20 minutes before we arrived. check in was easy and the staff were friendly. The bed was so comfy and the bathroom/shower was perfect for a quick rinse and to get ready in the morning. We could only get a smoking room and the smell stayed on our clothes after our visit.
The location of the hotel from Ikea and The mall of America. The room that was given to me was next to the elevator and whenever someone used it, it would make a sound which could be heard in the room which disturbed my sleep the whole night. Guests were smoking in the corridor and could smell it inside the room. Guests were washing clothes at night in the machine exactly opposite the room. We wanted to extend our stay in the hotel, instead we moved to another hotel. Staff was less bothered with the feedback given.
The hotel was very close to the Mall of America, the airport and has a cross walk over to the Taco Bell across the freeway which was great! My friend and I also really liked that there was a bus route that stops at the front of the hotel and took us right to the convention center in Minneapolis for our conference! Pretty decent continental breakfast and comfy pillows! The room did not have a mini-fridge which did not help the fact that we had a fruit and veggie plate which went bad after a night or two. We were given the handicapped hotel room which was great for space but the shower handle did not stay put or hang high enough to use as a shower head. As well, the bathroom was not cleaned out very well and this room was right beside the freeway so every night my friend and I slept with ear plugs, which helped block out the sounds.
All of the desk staff and Joey the van transporter!!! Very good!
it was just OK nothing really special. Waited an hour for the airport shuttle for pick upoutside from the airport. Staff not very helpul.
The price and customer service 0
That it was pet friendly! The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. The bed was too soft and actually felt like the mattress should be replaced :( It would be nice if the breakfast room could be left open other than at breakfast (with all the food, etc. put away of course), just so people have somewhere to sit and work or read, other than just their room.
Good location, gym on site, free breakfast, airport shuttle, friendly and courteous staff. The room I was assigned had bedbugs. I saw one crawling across my bed after a blood meal. I thought it was something I brought in my luggage at first and crushed it, but in the morning, I woke up with 20-some bites over my arms and chest. Looking back at reviews, there have been bedbug problems since at least 2011.
Absolutely nothing! They left my wife and I stranded at the airport for over an hour. Desk never told the driver. Hotel is ten minutes from the airport. Front desk staff not a people person. Do yourself a favor...never stay there.
Location Just about everything. I won't stay there again.
The location from the airport was good and they were able to accommodate our vehicle for the week that we were gone. The bed was way too soft and uncomfortable. We had our room right above the front door and heard all the traffic all night long. There was questionable activity in the hallway most of the night and into early morning.
Airport shuttle Noise, craftsmen hotel
updated, clean, friendly staff, good location, reasonably priced construction next building made it a bit congested, but no noise on the weekend
They charged me more money than they were supposed to for no particular reason. The floor wasn't vaccumed. The elevators smelled of marajuana. No complimentary breakfast.
Location was great Beds were harder than we liked
Clean, quiet room. Bed sheets were too stiff. Beds needs a blanket & not just a sheet and thick, heavy comforter.
It appeared to be a nice place and I was very happy to find such a nice place while being stranded in MSP airport all day with 2 children. Coke machines didn't work. Very confusing with the other Crowne Plaza being closer to the airport. It took over an hour to get from one hotel to the next because of the confusion.
Staff was nice The name of this hotel is intentionally misleading. It is over 30 minutes from the airport, yet is called the MSP/ MOA location, despite the fact that this chain has another location across the street from the airport. Shady.
Quiet room. Great bathroom & shower.
The staff were awesome and it was a quiet hotel The buffet got few not bad options The house keeping touch everything. like I used a bottle of water and they kept throwing it although I put a note not to throw my bottle next time but still...
The hot tub and pool were nice, and so were the rooms
Sink in bath. Shower door leaked at bottom seal. WiFi login screen too small for iPhone login.
I was not expecting much. So when I arrived and was greeted by two warm and friendly desk agents I was pleased. When they upgraded me to women's floor It was a nice surprise even though I didn't know what it meant. The free light snacks were a nice treat. The room was absolutely gorgeous. Couldn't believe it. Glass tile shower with glass door. Everything looked brand new and high end and luxurious Theoughoutbthe room. The view is nonexistent but if you shut the curtains you can feel like you are in a very comfortable, stylish hotel with really sweet staff and nice amenities. Very comfortable bed and bedding and lots of outlets in convenient locations. Shuttle to the airport was great and took less than 15 minutes at 6am. Wi-fi was complimentary but slow. Location is all hotels and office buildings not very near Mall of America/airport.
The room was comfortable & very clean and I liked the sleep well products I felt as though I was banished to the basement because I was a hotwire discount client. It was very lonely down there!
