We are a brand new construction Days Inn opening in July 2008. Our large rooms feature a dry bar with microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker. Enjoy expanded cable t.v. with HBO, hi-speed wireless internet. Each room is appointed with iron and ironing board, hairdryer and alarm clock radio. We offer a free light breakfast item together with your choice of coffee, tea and juice, USA Today, and local telephone calls. We are 2 miles from Lake Weiss which feature fishing tournaments from March to September. We are located in Cherokee County which is called the Crappie Capital of the World. As we designed our Days Inn we kept the fisherman in mind with electrical outlets for boat hook up. We look forward to your stay.

Pros:There were round drops of dried yellow urine (5 of them 3/8-1” in diameter) on the toilet seat and the toilet reeked of urine!!! The tub was dirty and full of hair…. And it didn’t drain so you had to stand in someone else’s hairy water and who knows what else!!! I poured alcohol in the tub and wiped it really good thinking I would be safe… not expecting it to come up over my ankles!!! I told the manager (owner?) about this the next morning and walked out. She followed me out to the car, and I thought maybe she might offer a discount or refund… something you would expect from a reliable place that wants repeat customers…. But all she did was say it was the cleaning lady inside with her when I told her and that she would talk to her about it. I will NEVER stay there again!!! There are VERY few options in Centre…. But I will drive from Gadsden next trip for sure!!!
Cons:See above…. Urine on the toilet, smell of urine coming from the toilet, clogged drain in tub, hair from previous patrons…. It was old and I didn’t expect much…. Yet I was still disappointed!!!
