It was the perfect hide away for our last couple of days in Sri Lanka. Udekki is a wonderful place to made more special because of the great people who work there. Dean will make you feel home from the minute you meet him. Ivan will cook you the perfect dinner and Chaturanga, Prince Charming, will take care of everything. The awareness for our environment is present in everything. Starting from the water, which comes in Glas bottles (all the time, without asking for it
Absolutely nothing ;)

We thought we were lost heading down a non-existent road until we saw the sign, but once inside the secured venue: WOW! It’s a hidden, secret piece of paradise. It’s secluded so I would suggest having all meals at the venue, by the way the food is faultless as is the service. The management are really nice and the staff goes above and beyond to look after you. I’ve already mentioned the food but it really is impeccable. The rooms in the villa’s are perfectly simple, spacious and clean. The pool is fantastic and clean, and there’s plenty of areas to just lounge with a secluded beach, the only other people we saw on the beach were the local fishermen throwing their nets from the shore. This is a beautiful place to just lose yourself and recharge the batteries.
We were pestered by flies at each meal, which became annoying.

Our stay in Udekki-Resort was absolutely great. We were 2 couples and spent a few days after traveling in Sri Lanka. The staff was amazing and the food excellent - the best (staff / food) we had in this wonderful country. We come back.
Nothing.

Barefoot luxury at the beach with a casual and friendly atmosphere. The beach in front of Udekki is fantastic - sandy, clean and not many people except the fishermen who take off from up the beach. It has a large, (and refreshing) swimming pool on the edge of the sand. It's lovely to walk straight out of your room and onto the sandy beach. The food was excellent and Dean, the manager, and his team went out of their way to make sure we had the best in meals and service. We left Udekki feeling like we had made new friends! I will definitely go back again soon!
