Pros: Outstanding in every way! Gorgeous hosts, gorgeous place, gorgeous food! Thank you again for a lovely stay!
Pros: An idillic setting with very charming and entertaining host and hostess. Brilliant evening meal with 6 other guests also staying. A highly recommended experience for any people, New Zealander’s or perhaps better for overseas visitors.
Cons: This is not a criticism of the site but a criticism of BookIng.com. We booked B&B online as that was the only option available online. The hostess sent an email to us via Booking.com as she did not have our email address. She advised that the closest place for an evening meal was at least half an hour away by car, and she offered us an evening meal. That email was never forwarded by Booking.com. When we arrived Sue asked us if we would like an evening meal which we accepted, it was a superb dining experience with ourselves, the host and hostess, an American couple and two France couples, and during the meal I noticed that Sue and David, the Hostess and host, had different meat to the rest of us they had used some left over meat from an earlier meal so we could enjoy the planned menu. Everything else was perfect.
Pros: Off the beaten track, quiet, very close to Awastone Rangitikei River Rafting , dinner offer (very good and great company!)
Pros: The quiet, the stars, the sheep herding, the food made it an excellent retreat away from crowds! Good WiFi.
Cons: Little difficult to find.
Pros: an excellent breakfast is provided, continental or cooked, and we ate with our hosts and other guests on the second evening and had a splendid meal. we stayed in the 'villa' a separate part of the farm and had a lot of space and facilities that we didn't actually need but which gave us a lot a privacy. sue and david were great hosts and we'd greatly recommend this place.
Pros: Peace and quiet. Great hosts.
Pros: Excellent hospitality, historically fascinating, beautiful location and delicious breakfast.
Pros: The friendly and personal service by the hosts. The quiet stay in the countryside just far enough off the beaten track. The original and unspoiled NZ farm house with plenty of firewood to keep us cosy. Excellent meals provided in the hosts' house.
Cons: The weather.

The nearest supermarket is 8 km away.
Pros: The old house.the history.and the hosts.
Cons: The queen size bed. I like the king size bed.
Pros: hosts were lovely. very welcoming and happy to share their knowledge of the historic manor they live in.
Pros: The location and ambiance of a country lodge. The owners are very helpful and ready to assist if required.
Cons: Beds are traditional in design and are to small for a tall person
Pros: Historic place, hospitality, the owner conducts an interesting tour, spacious, totally equipped big kitchen and dining room, huge territory around and lovely views
Cons: Better pictures needed in booking.com. Reality happened to be much-much better.
Pros: Our hosts were superb and nothing was too much trouble Fantastic setting in a heritage building with links back in time
Pros: Stunning place and fab owners. Thoroughly recommend staying
