9.1 Excellent
Pros: The staff goes above and beyond for everything from checkin to check out. The Inn is kept in great shape and as many have mention Everything in the rooms is very well appointed from Towels to having your own fireplace in the suite. Even other options for dinning are a short walk away so there was a variety to choose from. The front desk is only there from 8am-11pm so don't plan to check in late without calling ahead of time. I needed to check out early and they made sure to have someone there at the desk and made breakfast early for me to accommodate my early schedule. This is a great place for couples to get a quite VT getaway.
Cons: I only stayed one night and was for business so I did not get to enjoy all they had to offer.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice location in the mountains with decent views. Breakfast was very good. They had a nice selection of movies to entertain our son since the pool was closed.
Cons: Both the pool and restaurant were closed during our stay (pool due to rain and didn't realize that the restaturant would be closed mid week). The heater baseboard covering was loose and every time the bed moved it would rattle the heater.

Pros: We booked the cottage, so the 3 of us had lots & lots of room
Cons: No curtains on the kitchen window & the shower didn't look very clean (or maybe it was just water stains). It also appears that they're new owners & doing lots of renovations because there were all kinds of things outside & all around the property.

Overview Reviews
Vermont offers beautiful countryside and wonderful experience to all of its tourists and residents. The Equinox, a Luxury Collection Golf Resort and Spa highlights all of this and more in the form of an indulgent getaway. Each room is inviting and warm. With luxuriously plush bedding and beautiful colors, guests will feel welcome and right at home in their suite. Each room comes with a flat-screen television and free WiFi. There is also an en suite bathroom as well as bathrobes for each guest. Dining at the Equinox is as glamorous as the accommodations. The Chop House is a hunting lodge inspired steakhouse restaurant with beautiful wood and leather accents. The centerpiece of the Chop House is the stone hearth that is the historic meeting spot for the Green Mountain Boys in 1853. The Dormy Grill is a season restaurant that resides in the clubhouse of the Golf Club, specializing in New England cuisine. The Marsh Tavern sits in a building of which the original structure was built in 1769. It’s open for lunch and dinner and provides a finer dining experience. The Colonnade is a prime breakfast spot with an expansive buffet to leave everyone full and satisfied. The Falcon Bar offers a pub environment with delicious cheeses and chocolate truffles as well as an outdoor fire pit and all the signature cocktails and beers one would expect. The star of the Equinox is the golf course with 18 holes and putting greens. The clubhouse also offers golfing lessons for those new to the sport. Other amenities at the resort include a full service spa, pool, and babysitting services.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great atmosphere. Comfortable, very good staff. Locate in the middle of a terrific town. Restaurant has city prices but was excellent and worth it. Reasonably close to Bromley and Stratton so a great ski hotel. This was our second stay and we will likely go back again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: booked on Kayak since rate was $100 per night cheaper than going direct to Equinox. arrived late on wednesday night (8:30 PM) and went right to room to settle in since we were getting up early to ski at Stratton on Thursday. Left at 7:30 am for stratton and came back to hit hot tub and realx for the night. Oops hot tub broken and pool occupied by a few familys with kids running around wildly and jumoing into the pool. We tried to book massages instead, but only one time was available so I let my daughter take it. I went and got cleaned up and relaxed in room until she was done. We went to dinner and called it a night. Checked out around 8:15 on friday morning to ski and then head back to Ct. When we checked out I asked about the $35 per day resort fee since the hot tub was broken and was credited for one day (I guess that was fair) but we had no other time to use the facilities and still paid this fee. I would rather they put all charges in their rates instead of nickel and dime add on's that you are required/expected to pay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly, informative and helpful staff were wonderful to deal with. The property is beautiful and there is something for everyone. Had a delicious meal on site at the Marsh Restaurant. Very relaxed and can't wait to go back!
Cons: Lighting in the guest room, especially near the sink mirror, was not bright enough. Slight musty smell in a couple of the sitting areas..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Thank you so much. Had a great time

Overview Reviews

7.4 Good
Pros: We were in the area to visit family, and it happened to be during the horse show, so prices at every other hotel/motel were hiked. This was a reasonable price and it turned out, comfortable accommodations. The rooms are dated, but our room was clean enough and pet-allergen free enough to accommodate my allergies. We requested a room where pets are not allowed. The beds were fine, the bath and room layout were excellent. We had a double vanity separate from the toilet/bath and curtained off from the sleeping area.
Cons: The pool was closed while we were there. It was hot and muggy and would have been nice. There was torrential rain one night and the parking lot was flooded. The rooms never seem endangered and the lot was cleared of floodwater within a few hours, but it was dramatic at the time. I was also concerned that there was no dead-bolt on the door. It is rural Vermont, and they seem to take these things more casually. We felt very safe otherwise.
4.8 Okay
Cons: Beds were terrible. Decor and facilities were appallingly out of date. The breakfast buffet had a bag of white bread & cold cereal, a bowl of unappealing fruit, and little else to tempt you to stay. Sitting in a room last furnished in 1982 with green astroturf also did not appeal.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We booked one night and ended up extending for 2. The price was great! the room was large, the motel was as expected for it's category. we found the room and bathroom clean and had not concerns related to that. Staff was friendly and responsive. Location is just a few minutes drive to the restaurants in Manchester.
