Monte da Bravura Green Resort

- Central location to various beaches, touristic sites - Beautiful view - For Breakfast lots of fresh fruit was served and good cakes, other than that it was hit and miss - Good information provided about nearby restaurants, nice beaches - Maids were friendly - Outside pools were very clean but cold water

- The place was run like a restaurant, people did not interact, hotel owner attended to each table during breakfast but because of the way the place is layed out there was no leasure talk, exchange of information among the guests, intercommunication - The room smelled after toilet, the glas shower door was broken and was about to fall out of the hinge at any moment, when I asked to have the glas shower door repaired, the irritated owner replaced it with a shower curtain he had cut out of plastic - The floors were dirty and I had to mop the bathroom and room (full of dust, hair, dead insects) - Tiles were broken on the bathroom walls - Sink drain got broken, could not use sink one day, was eventually fixed - Beds were hard and had plastic sheet underneath bed sheets, very uncomfortable to sleep, hardly any good night rest - Refrigerator motor was running non-stop and was loud - Electrical socket box behind refrigerator in which the TV/ refrigerator was plugged hung in the air, to operate the flimsy water boiler or micro wave the contraption had to be unplugged, safety was not given - The online description did not mention that one had to dispose the used toilet paper in a separate bucket, nor did it mention that the bed sheets are only replaced after 7 days - The use water from toilets/ showers/ ... was biologically recycled on site to water the house gardens in which the fruits, vegetables grew used for breakfast - Coffee served at breakfast tasted like instant coffee which other guests also complained about - Room had no kitchen as advertised only an old refrigerator with a water cooker and micro wave on top - TV was hung up so high, hard to see, did not operate correctly and one had to spend several minutes ever so often turning it of and on to be able to change channels - Game room was in sous terrain (old garage), billiard table was cornered in so that one could hardly play, table tennis rackets were torn and used up, only one ball was still whole
