Hotel located on a nice square with few other hotels with terraces, nearby city center. Room with clean shower and toilet. Balcony. Nice breakfeast area and outside terrace. Free parking.
We had quite some luggage and parking place is 150 m. from the hotel. Breakfast is just a few food items and 1 coffee/tea.. Drinking another coffee/tea had to be paid extra.
In the city center of Lovech, small town, quiet hotel, 3 4 bars/restautants in the square, a supermaket. Ok for a one night stay. The rooms were crean, balcony was a plus(smoking area). -their restaurant across the street was good.. not the best, but there was variety and actualy our single viable options. They were the ones with less bad reviews in the city ;).
-language barrier; the do not speak English almost al all;.. hands language is the best :))) but this a general rule. In their defence, I do not speak Bulgarian at all
Great location and back yard, nice scenic view towards ethnographic quarter, amazing drawings in the corridors and room...
Rooms are dated, needs renovation.
My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. For the price it was very impressive. We wanted to use the hotel as a base to explore a nearby waterfall and cave, and the staff (I think the manager) made every effort to look up bus times, contact a taxi driver we could book for the trip etc. We really appreciated the help and would stay here again if we ever returned.
Overall the place is nice. Several good things are: - Location is great - Rooms are spacious - Staff is responsive and polite - The building itself - it's an old building restored to former glory
Here are few bad ones: - There was a leak from the pipes in the bathrooms under the sink - The air-conditioner was extremely loud
