Cala Blanca is a very stylish, modern resort that offers guests a little touch of elegance. Enjoy tranquil days lounging by the pool (and enjoying the pool bar) or the beaches, including Playa Taurito which boasts unique black sand, and spend your evenings dining on fine cuisine and enjoying fun and exciting night life. The resort is sheltered by the headlands, and it is the ideal location for vacationers who just want to get away from it all for a few days.
The size and the comfort in the apartment. Excellent for us, a family of 5.
It was a little too close to the mainroad, which caused a little too much noise.
The refurbished pool is the best I have ever experienced; perfect tiling, colour changing lighting and very warm.
We only had proper house-keeping three or four days out of eight and one very quick towel change. Had to contact reception for necessities such as toilet rolls. But nothing to spoil the stay. This was about our seventh visit to Cala Blanca.
I liked the pool area and the quality of the room
I wish that I had A/C. We stayed as a group of 7 and only one room had A/C
The apartment wasn't serviced at all during our week stay. The location was terrible, close to the main road which resulted in a lot of traffic noise. The bar, restaurant and mini-market were all closed, given the location, this posed a problem for provisions.
The apartments were very clean and very well equiped. The swimming pool was lovely and had comfortable sun beds with a superb view. Definitely value for money.
At first we were concerned about the proximity of the road and experienced some traffic noise, but this could not be heard once inside the apartment. The bar and restaurant were not open. A car is needed.
The only thing we liked was having a terrace and the weather to go with it.
Our booking was written down as June instead of March, causing difficulties checking in. The hotel has single beds only, some rooms very poor position. The pavement approach to the hotel was unfinished, with huge holes and raised paving slabs. We were forced to walk in the road,(dodging taxis and buses) which was badly damaged with boulders/ potholes. There was a sheer drop to the side and poor lighting. There were no facilities at the hotel for food/ drinks - in fact I wouldn't call it a hotel at all. Our room was not cleaned all week. There were no cafes or bars you could walk to, nowhere to have breakfast, no shops There was a courtesy bus but we were not given a ticket or times for this, or a map of the stops, so completely unworkable.
Great value. Great service. Wonderful view.
Some road noise, but you can hear the waves also.
Close to where we were going for the purpose of our trip. Comfortable enough.
Too many stairs, no ramps and the lift went off in the bad weather. Went to the barbeque the food was sparse, not enough for everyone some of our party never got to eat and no refund, if you didn't drink the horrible wine supplied you had to buy other drinks. On leaving had a bill of 33 Euro which we do not know was for. Maid service only once per week the day before we left. Road to resort all broken and full of large potholes.
