Pros: Was such an amazing experience! Everyone was polite and got everything to us as soon as we requested it! Definitely will be going back
Pros: Location was great, perfect for the lake. Jimmy's restaurant was very nice and the wait staff were great!
Cons: We booked a pet friendly room for our dog, we were told we could only stay on the ground floor next to the lake car park. It was very noisy and the nightly cost did not match my experience. I am a seasoned traveler and this was not good value for money.
Cons: 1. There was no hot water in the morning when outside temperature is -8 C and they couldnt seem to care about it.
Pros: The staffs are the best and helpful.
Cons: The restaurant closes early 9.30pm and no other food or drink service late hours.
Pros: The staff, decor and small, thoughtful touches were great.
Cons: I thought the restaurant, Jimmys, was overpriced for the quality of the food. Menu did nothing for us.
Pros: My wife and I were greeted by the valet/concierge gentlemen right away and were offered a glass of cold champagne! Set the standard for the rest of the stay and they didn't disappoint! Love this place and see ourselves coming here for many years to come!
Cons: Didn't like that my sister in law's room was in a totally different building than ours, but understandable given the layout and they were completely booked that weekend. Also couldn't believe her room was much larger and nicer than our premium lake view king, given our room was $80 more per night. But the view made up for it. After all, it was only for one night.
Pros: The service was amazing and staff were very accommodating. Our room was beautiful and the spa was glorious
Cons: The reading couch in the room was not super comfy but it was a pull out so no biggie
Pros: All was perfect
Cons: Except the restaurant
Pros: Restaurant was excellent - both for lunch and dinner. Sommelier was very knowledgeable and approachable. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Got great restaurant recommendations from one of the valets. Room was very nicely appointed, comfortable and attractive. Radiant floor heat in the bathroom was a nice touch. Free on-site parking with valet service. Great location - not in the thick of things, so quiet, but easy access to South Lake and the rest of the Lake.
Pros: Staff is excellently trained. Very professional. Rooms are big and comfortable. Restaurant is nothing short of excellent. it is worth staying at the hotel just for the restaurant.

Commanding a prime waterfront location in South Lake Tahoe, all resort guestrooms feature stone fireplaces, and manyafford spectacular lake views. Pros: I loved the room. But I wish we had a king size bed.
Cons: My room overlooked the pool, as I'm sure most, or all do. But during the day the music in the pool area blasted really loud a few times over the course of the day. Scared me. But I'm sure that doesn't happen often, or I hope not at least. Also I wished we had a king size bed. The queen bed was too small and the comforter was too small for the bed.
Pros: It was very clean modern luxury
Cons: The $29 for parking too much and they charged us for 4 parking days instead of 3 and the guy didn't know how to fix it it was elaborate he called pkg they agreed we fldidnt have an extra car then he handed me back the paper and we had a stare off lame So I said no more dialogue I need to go fix it !! He did but he pouted didn't apologize it's probably hard to get good help up there

Pros: Such a cute little place! Great location, friendly & helpful staff. Easiest reservation/check in/check out ever!
Pros: Free bike rentals was awesome. Toiletries included Advil and toothpaste. Themed rooms are a nice touch. Microwave, mini-fridge, and Keurig were convenient. Great deal for being so close to everything.
Pros: Staff were very helpful. Room was clean and quiet. Located within walking distance to the shore. Nice that they provide bicycles to use. Free internet.
Cons: Room was a bit dark for my taste.
Alder Inn features a free ski shuttle and puts you within a 10-minute drive of Heavenly Ski Resort. The spa tub makes for a relaxing end to a day on the slopes, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are great perks. An outdoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like bathrobes and pillowtop beds with premium linens. Skiers will appreciate access to ski storage.
Pros: Great management, excellent rooms. Located centrally, within walking distance of State Line & Heavenly Plaza, but away from the main traffic where it's pretty tranquil. Nice walks to the beach in multiple directions.
Pros: Nice clean, quiet room. Comfortable bed. Soft sheets. Thick towels. Sound like home?
Well kept property in South Lake Tahoe's stateline hotel area. The bathroom in our unit looked recently remodeled and they did a fantastic job in doing the work. What wasn't mentioned in their room descriptions was the fireplace heating unit in the room. It added yet another nice little touch of home.
Owner and staff were very nice and helpful. Will definitely be booking Alpenrose Inn from now on when we go to Tahoe.
Pros: the staff, cleanliness, coziness, location, very helpful with sightseeing suggestions
Alpenrose Inn puts you within a 10-minute drive of Heavenly Ski Resort. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast available daily.
Pros: Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, full kitchen, multiple living spaces, gorgeous views, beautiful living spaces, great for large groups.
Pros: Staff was wonderful! Best service I have ever had! From beginning to end!
Pros: I love that it is so convenient to everything! I only had to use my car twice during my whole trip. Everything was walking distance!
Cons: I'm not sure what had happened but my car had valet parking. And they returned my car with wheel/ tire was flat
Heavenly Village Condos allows you more time for skiing with ski-in/ski-out access, plus you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Heavenly Ski Resort. You can grab a bite to eat at one of the 5 restaurants and visit the spa to be pampered with massages, facials, or aromatherapy. 3 bars/lounges and a casino are other highlights at this upscale property, and condos offer flat-screen TVs and DVD players.
Pros: Great Village atmosphere. Lots of music at restaurants nearby, decent bar scene, right at base of gondola. Gondola was shut down for one day. so it was a drag to take a bus to the california base; especially when you're paying for the primo location next to the gondola. Oh well. Great skiing, one or two blocks to casinos, comfortable 3BR unit with washer/dryer. All good.
Pros: Everything was great
Cons: The couch/sofa bed could be little softer to sit and sleep on
Pros: Loved the convenience of being right at the Gondola and Heavenly Village. Front desk, valet, and staff were super courteous and helpful. The rooms are great, clean, and very convenient when traveling with kids. We used the kitchen to prepare breakfast and simple meals. Would definitely return because overall it was comfortable.
Cons: Housekeeping came by at 8am, and we had not left yet (typical when babies and toddlers are involved), and they did not come back later. We were later told we have to call and request that. When we did at 5pm they said it's too late for the day even though we just bumped into two housekeepers outside our room in the hallway. We asked them but they said we had to call front desk. They just got out of doing the work.
The mattress springs gave in and was pretty soft. Probably due for replacement.
Didn't like the 10am checkout. Should be 11 or 12 like other places.
Pros: Great location and beautiful rooms. Really nice having shops and restaurants in walking distance.
Cons: Very pricy for a room. Although very nice I feel like for the rates there should include more amenities like free meals or parking or free or discounted gondola ride.
Pros: We liked the location and friendly staff plus enjoyed the gym there.
Cons: We were disappointed that the check- out was 10:00. We travel a lot and have never had such an early check-out. We called valet for our car and it wasn't ready for us and waited 30 minutes for it. I think that was due to all checking out at the same time that usually doesn't happen at other hotels we have stayed in. Also they did not have anyplace to eat breakfast in.
Pros: The location
Cons: Parking was not included in the price. It usually is.
Pros: The staff all was amazing. They even took the overnight parking fee off my tab when they realized I was waiting 30+ minutes waiting for valet service. I wasnt even asking for anything as I knew they were all buzy as it was raining and it was checkout time. It was a great place, will be back again!
Cons: I cant complain. Everything was great.

If you are here to ski, you will find the world-famous Heavenly Gondola just steps away waiting to carry you to the top of the slopes. Pros: This place was perfect for a winter getaway. Fireplaces in every room, sauna, hot tub. I will definitely go back! Short uber or cab to heavenly and state line.
Pros: Locations was perfect and all the amenities were great!
Pros: Beautiful view, sandy beach and very central location in South Lake Tahoe.
Cons: Everything was great! No complaints!
Pros: Rustic lodge feel, beautiful view, nice day spa
Cons: Spa was out of order, walls are very thin.
Pros: The front desk texted me the day of my arrival to inform me that my room may not be ready in time, and even helped me with road conditions. Upon arrival, we still got a room on time, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
The room was large and comfy and even had a fireplace in it! Pool and hot tub aside, they offered free coffee, tea and hot cocoa in the lobby. Definitely noticed a lot of couples, but also families with small children.
It was away from the main downtown area (a 3 minute drive away) which meant it was nice and quiet but still easily accessible. Nothing beats waking up to that magnificent lake view though!
Pros: It was old hotel but it was clean & it has beautiful view of the Lake. You can sit & watch the lake from balcony for hours.
Pros: 30 minute walk into downtown was perfect, as my interest was to stay on the water with beautiful view of mountains.
Cons: I would've preferred upper level, not ground floor, for private balcony to keep curtains open. Minor issue.
Pros: Views were unbelievable.
Pros: Location location location. Great view of the lake.
Cons: The beds were VERY uncomfortable.
Welcome to the Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge and Spa!A beautiful view from every room! Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa, South Shore's only all lakefront property, offers hotel and condominium lodging all with an incredible lake view and cozy fireplace. Revitalize and rejuvenate yourself in our full service day spa or relax by our heated pool and hot tub. Centrally located to area activities, restaurants, casinos and sitting on 500 feet of private beach, you'll receive a true Tahoe experience.
Pros: The location was perfect near a lot of small towns and restaurants.
Cons: Didn't like there was no complementary breakfast at least a continental breakfast but it's okay found a great bf place in town.
Cons: I had reserved a room with double queen beds, but upon check-in was told that the hotel was "oversold" and could not only give me a room with one king bed. After much discussion, the gentleman claimed he looked again and found a double queen bed room and could offer it to me for an upgrade rate of $50/night. I unhappily accepted, but was able to remove the charge with a different gentleman upon checking out. I felt that I was being treated unfairly and inaccurately by the first person who checked my family in on 2/1719.
Pros: Room was excellent, very clean, stylish, comfortable.
Loved the restaurant across the street, great food, great live music, great cocktails.
Cons: Room was a little too warm, couldn't adjust thermaostat.
Cons: The pool was an outdoor heated pool but wasn't warm enough. The property is very spread out, which is nice but can be difficult at the end of the day with young children.
Pros: The hotel is of relatively modest size. The lobby has been remodeled (not sure when) and is very very nice. Has a Tahoe lodge look, is dimly, but adequately lit, and is very welcoming. Our room did not have the best view, so we requested an upgrade. The manager on duty offered us one of their cabins by the lake as a free upgrade. Initially, we declined, but changed our mind. Not only did they give us the free upgrade, but they did the same for our friends! Thanks to Taylor, who was very gracious, professional and friendly.
Cons: The room we initially had was on the fourth floor and did not have a view of anything but the roof and ventilation equipment. That was remedied, however.
Pros: The first few days of my stay I was solo and was there for business. My wife flew in for the weekend and we had a great stay at our home away from home. The Hyatt in Incline always does a great job and has the best staff of anywhere I have stayed. Keep doing a GREAT job.
Cons: One elevator was not working for a couple of days on Presidents weekend which made for very long lines and wait times. Need to reinstall the chandeliers at the Loan Eagle.
Complentary champagne at check in.
Cons: We staid in room 346 , beside the fact that we had to walk a lot to get to the room , the way the bathroom was built was no way you can get any heat in there , the showers were a nightmare to take. He had to keep the heat at 78 in room to get not even 68 in the bathroom.
I was disappointed with the room we got, because I know for sure the hotel was not busy 1.5 weeks before Christmas.
Overall I would recommend the hotel but not the room 346
Pros: Pool area
Cons: Wait staff not the friendliest at times
Pros: Great location. Beautiful beach. Enjoyed the paddle board and kayak rentals.
Pros: Facilities were nice, and staff was friendly.
Cons: Not impressed with Lone Eagle Grille. Hostess and waitstaff were not competent. Gave us a wine list on a locked iPad. Did not provide the correct dinner menu. Options were limited, with few fresh vegetable options. Cafe was uncomfortable with hovering waitstaff.

The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe is the only Lake Tahoe resort/casino that offers a spectacular lakeside setting with a private beach. A true year-round destination offering complimentary ski shuttles to world-class ski resorts in winter; hiking, biking and beachfront activities in summer.
Pros: The staff was great, very helpful, and friendly. Nice room with a chalet feel. Fast valet service. Great location.
Cons: Strong commercial air freshener smell initially in the room, cracked open the window and it was fine. They need a better air freshener when recycling the rooms.

Cons: Avoid unless you love excessive noise. You will be treated to hearing the room next doors spa, AC, toilet flushing, showers VERY loudly inside your room at all hours of the night and early morning. We sadly had two nights booked. We turned of our AC as we did not pack industrial rated earplugs to deafen the unbelievable drone of the AC in cooling mode. The staff are well aware of the noisey plumbing. I was told by the receptionist that they do not recommend their guests restrict the hours of spa usage. Mind you the spa is only one excessive problem this hotel has... AVOID
Pros: No complaints here. Stayed in one of the standard rooms. Very spacious with a BIG jetted tub. Staff was all very nice and helpful. Location was great, and parking was easy.
Pros: I was worried the shower and hot tub in the room would be outdated or dirty, but it was actually very luxurious, clean, and HOT. Two shower heads allowed us to both stay warm while showering, and then we got into the steamy hot tub. Just what the body needed after a day on the mountain. I also really loved the tv was on a swivel so we could watch from our bed, or the hot tub. The king bed was clean and pillows were full. I'll definitely stay here again.
Pros: This is the 3rd trip that my husband and I have made to Fantasy Inn, it is a fun place for couples, our visit this time, was not as great as it has been. There was very noisy room above us, and they made noise most of the night, I did call front desk and it lessened but did not stop...we booked thru Kayak, and expected to get one of the theme rooms, but because of some strange problem between hotel and booking site, the hotel staff, can't assign a them room, and don't have the info to call the hotel guest to assign room # for theme room...so bottom line we showed up and paid for theme room and got "regular room" this was huge disappointment...overall I like the rooms, large tub, show, and mirrors....those features are fun...the down side, is that carpet needs to be replaced in the rooms, they have redone carpet in halls...the staff and front office area could do with more updating and more features to enhance the experience...
Cons: noise, paying for a theme room when booking and then note having it available ....carpet needs to be replaced very badly in the room, front desk area could be updated ...
Pros: The mirrors were great . Rooms are being updated . Looking forward to another getaway .
Located at the edge of beautiful Lake Tahoe, POSTMARC hotel & spa suites is designed for luxury and relaxation. With 46 spa suites, you will look forward to returning to your room after a fun day enjoying all that Lake Tahoe has to offer.
Pros: Good value for money but the cleaning was not up to scratch. I don't think the sheets on our bed had been changed. Hairs on the sheets when I have inspected before bed. There were hairs on the bathroom floor. Carpets were worn in areas. Bedding looked about 20 years old. Just felt a little yukky
Pros: The Condo was lovely and clean. The proximity to the sandy beach at Lake Tahoe and the South Shore casinos is excellent. Also, the grounds are beautiful with all of the lovely pine and redwood trees on the property. We had a wonderful relaxing visit, and I will definitely recommend Aston Lakeland Village to my friends
Cons: Condos located near Lake Tahoe Blvd are too noisy with the traffic close by. I had to request a different condo than the one originally assigned to us, and Aston was very gracious about moving us to a condo closer to the Lake.
Pros: We enjoyed the swimming pool
Cons: First of all am not saying all employees are not properly trained doing their job but some of the employees yes they are not properly trained especially when they are charging bills to their guests when they checking in like what happened to us it is so terrible experienced we ever had in that place I booked online and make reservation I payed everything online so when I came to the front desk at the resort I told Them that I have reservation and I payed online however this employee asking for my debit card charging for any damages incase we something happen to the unit for amount of $100 for me doesn't matter because he said they will refund it after we check out so I said ok but then after an hour I check my online banking and it showed up in my bank account that the resort charge me $348 I can't believe this people can't do their job right so I told them what happen and they told me that they will refund it and they said it takes 3 to 5 business days to refund completely in my bank account and the next day I saw in my bank account they charge me again $740 I can't believe this place this is so much errors and stupidity why they can't do their job really guy come on!!' so I talk to them again and again and again all they did is sorry we will refund it we just make a mistake. And also at the next counter at my left side another costumer complained because of their errors over charging their costumers!!!! Please don't go in this resort believe me!!!!
Pros: The free shuttle was great- we never waited for more than 5 minutes for a ride. It was nice to have the continental breakfast as an option. Service was great and everyone was very friendly. Having a kitchen was great.
Cons: Room (especially the bathroom) was kind of cramped.
Pros: The fact that is was right on the water
Cons: The AC unit did not cool the room properly. Had to get and extra fan. The room was a non smoking room but there were cigarette butts on the balcony and the worse part was when I turned my covers down on the bed and found a large black hairball in between the sheets
Pros: Location is perfect
BBQ grills on property are nice
Cons: Pools were not heated even though they advertised them that way.
They stick you in the main building in the summer on the first floor with paper thin ceilings so you are awakened by the people above and you are far away from the beach and with only a queen size bed even though other rooms were available the Andrea manager wanted an upcharge of 50 per night plus tax for them even though the reception clerk said it was no problem to move. Andrea the manager always had a fake forced smile and was not customer focused at all. The room carpets were filthy.. they needed shampooing.
Pros: This was everything we needed for a weekend with my son and his family! The unit we were in is a three storey condo with three bedrooms (one in the loft) and two baths, full kitchen, living room and laundry. And the kids (and I'm including my grown son here) really enjoyed the wood fireplace! Beautiful surroundings, right on the beach. We decided to buy groceries and stay in the first night. ..a very good choice as the kitchen was well appointed. There are even board games! !
Cons: Just be aware that the loft gets really hot if you use the fireplace in the evening.
Pros: Access to beach is great. Shuttle service on demand is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking was tight, but we were there on 4th of July. Our suite was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, silverware, etc. (though we didn't need a kitchen for a one night stay).
Would stay there again, but book a room earlier and request a room that is located as far from Hwy 50 as possible.
Cons: Our suite was spacious, except for the shower and toilet room which was extremely small. Furniture could use an update, screen doors were barely functional. Suite was facing Hwy 50 and was REALLY noisy. Needed to have the doors open because it was quite warm. I suppose in winter the noise wouldn't be an issue because you could keep the doors closed. Lastly, we paid way more than the room was worth, but booked it only a week before the 4th of July, so it was somewhat expected.

Pros: I liked the kitchenette. The staff were very friendly. The idea of having activities everyday was for the guest was very thoughtful and creative.
Cons: The informational email said that there was ac but there was not. The bed was too soft and hurt my boyfriend and I'still backs.
Pros: Location was great, room was quiet and clean (we had a one bedroom suite) I would definitely stay here again and bring our kids next time.
Cons: Bed was too soft, heater in master bath was broken, HBO kept cutting out while trying to watch Game of Thrones!!
Parking lot was being redone while we were there so we kept having to rotate where we parked but it wasn't a huge deal

Pros: The remodeled showers and decor was nice. Pool was nice, free bike rental was nice.
Cons: Lake view was 1st floor behind a fence and through trees. The sliding doors are very hard to work and are very small.
No air conditioning, it was hot and leaving the small sliding door open got little to no air. Not to mention we were on top of a very loud busy road that kept us up.
Pros: Super comfy beds and nice linens, great toiletries, very helpful and genuine staff, great price. Excellent location directly across from the lake. Nicely appointed bathroom; very clean.
Cons: The abandoned trailer park out back. We had no issues and saw no one living there, but certainly didn't know it was benign when we first arrived.
Pros: The rooms were very cozy and clean.
Pros: Pool jacuzzi location wifi
Cons: The bed was definitely not queen size. We called the desk to inform them. They offered to move us to a king size room for $30 extra a night. We had unpacked already so it was too inconvenient. I suggest you get the king size in the future if you're a couple.
Also the room smelled like paint from the renovation.
Pros: Convenient location, restaurant and sports bar next door. It seemed expensive, until I compared it with other properties. Bathroom and room appeared to be recently remodeled.
Cons: Poor sound insulation. Noise in hallways was easily noticeable.
Pros: The hot tub and the gym
Cons: The fridge did not work
Pros: This inn has a great location and we loved the fact that we could include our dogs on our trip with us however, it was run down, and is in desperate need of renovations. The appliances such as microwaves and mini fridges don't work and the carpets are stained. For the price we expected nicer accomations and were a bit disappointed. Furthermore, dogs can never be left in rooms alone as I understand to not annoy other guests however, the many loud drunk people in the pool area at night past 11 were much more annoying than my dog.
Cons: Renovate rooms, lock people out of pool area at posted times due to noises disturbing guests around pool area,
Pros: Location is nice, pool/hot tub was nice
Cons: Lake view room is right over the busy road which was very loud. No AC meant a very warm room with opening the siding for the only way to cool down, making it even louder. Overall, it was fine but not sure we would go back and definitely would request a room in the back building of the main road if we did
Pros: Very Nice, Clean and Quiet - big room
Pros: Goid proximity to the beach, free bike rental, free parking. Bed seemed clean enough to sleep in for one night and the AC worked well.
Cons: We didnt like the dirty towels, outdated and smelly hallways, dirty old rundown room, uncomfortable bed.
Pros: The bed
Cons: the wifi cut out and the telephone didn't work
Pros: The location couldn't have been more perfect for our stay. We walked to dinner every night at MacDuff's, which was recommend by the staff. (Get the mac and cheese!!) We had picnic lunches looking out over the lake, which was directly across the street from the Inn! We really enjoyed being able to walk around, as well as drive to some fun nearby spots for food and took a drive all the way around the lake! We also loved the gorgeous hot tub out back, clean and truly beautiful!!
Cons: We weren't properly warned about the fact that there wasn't any air conditioning in any of the buildings as it had been shut off for the season. I couldn't sleep at all the first night, and we didn't feel comfortable leaving the porch door open as we had a view out into the less affluent looking community to the back. I think it is probably worth spending extra for the lake view, and requesting extra fans up front if you are going post-AC season. We were more comfortable after the fans were on, but felt a little frustrated that it seemed to have been kept from us as we were told they would move us if anything wasn't working. After we called to ask about the AC not working, we were finally told that it was unavailable. We still had a great stay, and wouldn't put us off of recommending it, but wish we had a bit more warning going in.

Pros: The air conditioning works great. The whole place was updated and the decor was Modern. The kitchen was awesome especially for a family with a small child. The location was optimal. Everything you could want is in the area.
Cons: Hard beds. Really hurt my back and my hips but the pillows were nice.
When you stay at Heavenly Inn, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Heavenly Ski Resort. You'll have free perks like WiFi and self parking. A terrace and a garden are other highlights, and rooms offer up nice touches like iPads and pillowtop beds with premium linens.
Pros: The staff I've encountered were very nice. The free breakfast was great and better than just a continental breakfast so I was happy. Bed was comfy. Room decent sized and definitely a good value. Excellent location. Walkable to Heavenly and right across a tiny street from Stateline casinos.
Cons: Slow wifi. Carpet seemed a little dirty in some spots. Room didn't have great lighting. The restaurant was hit or miss. Thin walls.
Pros: Hot tub, free breakfast, spacious rooms.
Cons: Slow / unreliable internet, especially during busy weekends.
Pros: The free breakfast
Cons: The overly expensive room service
Pros: Clean and nice. Was impressed with service and the people
Cons: Nothing. They did a great job!
Pros: Free hot breakfast.
Cons: room felt dirty. My daughters feet were dirty on the bottom after walking on the carpet.
Pros: - Nice location near heavenly village, hotels and attractions
- Horse carriage ride just outside the hotel (not affiliated to the hotel)
- Very clean room.
- Got excellent view of the lake and mountains.
- Good room service.
- Very courteous staff all around including front desk, valet, bell desk, concierge and breakfast.
- Safe area around where you can walk around even late in the night.
- Breakfast was excellent with good choices.
- Room had a separate living room and bedroom with 2 queen beds.
Cons: No fresh air fan in the bathroom.
There is no parking other than Valet. So you have to pay 19 dollars along with 15 dollars resort fee. It's good they separate it so people flying don't have to pay for parking, but those who drive should have some place to park for free.
Such a big hotel that it was hard to find a place to sit for breakfast in the morning.
Walls were thin and you could hear noise from other rooms and outside.
15 dollar resort fee only gives 3 Mbps internet which buffered while watching online movies.
Pros: Very nice and clean beds
Cons: Pool to chlorinated and cold
Pros: Great location, cleanliness, and price
Cons: Tiny body towels in bathroom after shower, it would be nice if they were bigger
Pros: Great location and price. Very clean and the indoor pool is great for the kids in Winter. Complimentary breakfast was good for the whole family. Perfect room with King bed in bedroom, hide-a-bed in living room for kids. Two sinks in room made it easy for everyone to get ready in the morning.
Cons: Living room TV did not work- they offered to send someone to fix it.
Monday the breakfast was very crowded and half of the dining hall was closed, so we had to wait several minutes for an open table.
Pros: Close to restaurants, entertainment and gondola to Heavenly resort
Pros: Great sized rooms
Cons: Wifi poor Kept cutting out and needed rebooting
Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel sits on the California-Nevada border in South Lake Tahoe, and is near hiking trails and the gondola. Guests can walk 6 blocks to the shoreline, or head the other way for mountain air. Gamers can pop next door to Harrah’s Casino, and skiers can enjoy runs on Heavenly Mountain Resort, 2 miles (3.2 km) away.
Pros: Location was amazing. Central to the beach and Heavenly village. the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Nothing g
Pros: Location, breakfast
Cons: Small room
Cons: Dirty rooms, roches , and dirty pillows
Pros: great location, breakfast included, comfortable bed
Cons: unfriendly staff, esp. reception, and throughout our stay, we encountered a few problems
Pros: Well-located close to the hustle and bustle of the casinos and the Heavenly gondola but far enough away to quiet. Nice rooms but not de luxe.
Cons: Two-night minimum stay for weekends.
Pros: Free full breakfast included in hotel stay was a great perk. Clean, safe, small, inexpensive when you just need a simple place to stay for a night or two.
Pros: Free breakfast
Cons: Backed up tub drain
Pros: Great location, great stay
Cons: Just could of used a microwave
Pros: The 24/7 warm pool and hot tub area is amazing especially when swimming late night. :) Servicing was excellent from facility cleaniness to customer care. I thought I paid a lot for the one night value but it worth every penny!
Cons: Bed sizes were full and not queen. We were a family of 4 tall people and it was not very comfortable for 2 people in one full size bed. Queen size would be good if possible!

Pros: The whole stay was great from the start. The staff was very welcoming, and Baseline was such a unique experience from beginning to end. The location was walking distance to everything we wanted to do, and we absolutely loved our experience. Highly recommend!!!
Cons: The only thing we didn't particularly enjoy was the thin walls in between the rooms, and the quality of the TV. But those were minuscule issues, we loved our experience.
Pros: Great place with very friendly people. Hipster ambience is created by cool style and design. Aesthetically it's a very pleasant place, not every Taho vacation has to be in an old cabin with a lot of orange wood and musty smell (if you know what I'm talking about). Hip and young place with make-your-own waffle breakfast and smores kits available for $2 at the reception (I've been doing those every night!!).
Cons: Parking lot is a bit tight. No decaf coffee for breakfast.
Pros: Basecamp has succeeded in facilitating a communal, hostel-like vibe while maintaining a higher-end boutique hotel, something that I've never encountered at other hotels like this. The hamburger and bratwurst grill in Basecamp's grassy courtyard were much needed after a long summer day at the lake. I'd definitely come back again.
Cons: The picnic benches in the courtyard are sketchy. Mine was super wobbly but I was sober so I never took a spill. Though, my friends and I watched several people who may have had a few too many flip off their benches while sitting around the fire pit. I'd just suggest the staff replace these benches before someone gets litigious on Basecamp!
Pros: The remodel of this hotel was superbly done, the rooms were spacious and clean and the beds were super comfy. The outdoor lawn with fire pits, hot tub and open air bar was great after a long day of hiking.
Cons: The staff was clueless. My husband and I asked for a place to get breakfast sandwiches before setting out on a day hike and we were recommended a 21 and over strip club, at 8 am!! They left messes laying around for days at a time, literally (there was a concert across the street at one of the casinos and the after math of beer bottles, food containers and other debris on one of the hotel patios was left uncleaned for almost two days!) we even asked a staff member about the mess because we wanted to enjoy the view from the patio and he just laughed and said "yeah, they really made a mess huh."
Pros: Everything about this hotel is great. No detail is missed. Great price and great experience. Can't bet the location either.
Pros: Rooms are design, clean and confortable.
Staff is wonderful, dynamic, helpful.
Ecologic style. Very good breakfast, homemade style, with not too much food: super !
Cons: No coffee maker in the room.
Pros: Love, love, love this place!
Very clean and no usual hotel vibe. I wish my apartment was that great. Nice wooden accents throughout the room. They did a great job updating the place.
The staff is super responsive and willing to help and there's someone at the front desk 24/7
Everything felt and looked like they really care and want to provide the best possible experience
Big windows that open! So it's easy to air out the room.
Free s'more kits. So you can jump into the hot tub on the roof and then enjoy some s'mores by the fire pit
Free 24 hr very good coffee
Nice continental breakfast with yoghurt, granola, blueberries, bagels, cream cheese and pastries
Mostly younger friendly crowd and families with kids
We loved it so much that we stayed an extra night on top of the three nights we already booked. And they matched the initial price of booking.com
Great price for the room, considering other hotels around. It was off season though
Cons: Could use more storage space/hangers in the room as well as in the bathroom
Pillows were not very comfortable
Bathroom and shower are a little cramped
Some guests smoked right in front of the rooms and no one was keeping tabs on that
There's no refrigerator or microwave in any of the rooms. For families traveling with small children that's a big deal. Though, the staff was nice enough to let us store food in their fridge
Pros: room cute, clean. Lots of pillows.
Cons: No elevator!!! I had to climb two flights with heavy bags and two bikes. Staff were somewhat indifferent. No AC. No TV channel guide.

Pros: Great location, professional staff, nice pool area.
Cons: This is a dated bare bones IHG property, no vending other than a beverage machine that wasn't working, offers no on-site concessions, a non-working thermostat and intermittent satellite TV signal.
Pros: Location was central to everything. Breakfast was hot and good variety of food.
Cons: Too noisy at night. Me and my family were kept up by a noisy neighbors who were drunk, screaming, and banging on the doors from 12am-430am. Horrible!! I had to call the police and hotel management, but it didn't help much. We had a big headache in the morning. Ruined our next day.
Pros: Breakfast was better than I had expected. Room was overall comfortable and clean.
Cons: Limited parking at night. Rooms are not very sound proof.
Cons: Bed bugs

Pros: Location is very nice. Not too far from anything. Right on the beach is the best part.
Cons: Beach is busy with watercraft. Beds are nice but the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. Towels had stains. Lots of bugs around. Bathroom floor had dead bugs laying around. Last but not least was charged twice for my rooms. Once by the booking app (kayak) and then when I checked out. Kayak charged me more than the hotel. More a complaint about kayak/getaway.com.
Pros: The room was clean but tiny. View of Safeway. Thought I was getting a room on the beach at Tahoe. Other similar rooms were a quarter of the price but I was paying to be on the beach with a nice view.
Cons: Make sure you call and get a room on the beach at this price. Most of the rooms have no beach at all. Felt ripped off after I saw my room!
Pros: Close to everything and even has its own beach with a pier and restaurant.
Cons: Rooms desperately need to be updated.
Pros: Great location, right on the beach. Great views. centrally located. Very good value for the cost.
Pros: Great staff and location. Very close to the water and shopping. Clean accomodations overall.
Cons: Very small rooms, rather cramped spaces, and no complimentary breakfasts. The drinking water carried a $3.00 charge, ridiculous. At night the jacuzzi party was allowed to carry on until very late, noisy.
Pros: The staff made our stsy
Cons: Rooms were a little small but with the fireplace and deck made up for the room size.
Pros: Loved the fireplace in the room. Loved the efforts made to save - with the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and lotion. Also, loved that we had the option not to have towels and sheets changed to save on water. The staff was very friendly and helpful!
Pros: Location on the lake front was excellent. Hammocks to enjoy the views and outdoor. Dock excellent for watching the sunsets.
Cons: Buildings are old. We stayed on 1st floor and heard every creak and Crack as the people above us walked around. I was aware of their bathroom and showering habits. Our room was not the cleanest. Walls had lots of spots on it, smelled like bug spray but they tried to cover up with lemon scent. Our bed was extremely firm and so we're the pillows. With the noise from above and the uncomfortable bed it was difficult to get a good night's sleep.
Pros: You can't beat the beach access! With two young sons, having the pier, pool, beach and bar (for mommy & daddy) all within footsteps of our hotel room was amazing. Convenient and SO much fun. The grounds are great. We sat around the fire pits and ordered dessert one night:-) Love everything about this place. Oh, and it's affordable!
Pros: The staff was very nice and accommodating! Since we decided to not stay there for our vacation they let us cancel without any pay!
Cons: Our room was next door to house keeping. Washing machines were right next door which were very loud. Outside our door was the delivery dock with lots of confusion. The beach was not as groomed as I was expecting from a resort. Dog poop and cigaret buts. The water there was full of algie which I'm not sure if that is due to the dock? The Ticki bar was full of people which is great for young party kids. But we were looking for a resort with a pleasant, clean and family friendly!!
Pros: Perfect location on the beach and in town.
Cons: There wasn't sugar or creamer provided for the coffee, and there weren't any wash cloths.
Pros: Loved being right at the beach! We went midweek and pretty much had the beach to ourselves! The rooms were nice. The staff was great!
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the smell of the soap, shampoo, etc. provided. It had a weird medicinal smell.
Nestled right on the shores of the Lake, with awe-inspiring views and an exquisite sandy beach, the Beach Retreat & Lodge at Tahoe boasts its own pier and marina, delectable dining at our two onsite restaurants, and a huge variety of activities for the entire family.Rent a kayak and explore the lake during the summer months or venture to the slopes in the winter. The Beach Retreat welcomes visitors with gracious service and comfortable guest rooms, setting the stage for a wonderful blend of recreation and relaxation.
Pros: Hotel locality is great, easily accessible to most of the market places.
Staffs are helpful in providing tourist spots information..
Cons: Break fast would have been better with little extra options and cafeteria area was too small to accommodate guest from different rooms
Pros: Clean rooms and location
Cons: The breakfast, no channels on tv
Pros: pet friendly, rooms and linens are clean and great location
Cons: very high price for very cheap quality
Pros: The room was clean and had everything we needed while staying in Tahoe. Staff was friendly too.
Pros: Proximity to center hub of food, grocery and walking distance to lake and pet friendly. New upgrades inside and out ensure I will continue to stay here for my yearly visit.
Pros: Right by everything. Room was clean and staff was friendly. We'd defiantly go back!
Pros: First time in Tahoe, Went with the cheapest place my guy and i could find, But turns out: great value for location. We walked to the beach and to the shops/lifts and casinos. Staff was very friendly. Had both a regular king and also a suite with fireplace and jacuzzi (also for a good deal). Unless you're just super picky about not having somewhat dated decor or your breakfast, I wouldn't stay anywhere else for a higher price.
Cons: What you read about the basic breakfast is true, but the rooms come with a fridge. To improve: Getting a toaster for some bagels/breads would be nice to carb up for a day on the slopes.
Pros: Short walk to Heavenly's gondola and the folks are friendly. However, the maintenance is lacking and the buildings/amenities are dated. Breakfast is fruit, donut, and coffee; wifi is minimally useful. Hot tub was nice after a day on the slopes.
Good for the price.
Pros: 1. Curteous and helpful front desk lady.
2. Tasrefly furnished.
3. Everything was working.
Please pay attention to actual comfort not just looks of the unit.
Cons: 1. Very loud heater - it was louder than gale force wind.
2. Untouchably very rough duvet cover and rough sheets. Thought about sleeping on the leather sofa.
3. Shower curtain and 2 pillows had unpleasant smell.
3. Pillows and cushiins were too heavy and bulky.
Pros: The location is just 5-min walk from the Heavenly Gondola.
Price is good.
Breakfast was ok. Donuts, coffee, tea, banana, and apple. *the apple was just a little bit sour.
Internet was ok.
Cons: I was disappointed by the room service. On the day when I went to Heavenly gondola, the maid didn't clean my room. I was frustrated at that time since I expected to have a clean room after having tiring activities on top.
Microwave is too small. Can't warm food with a big box.
Pros: My SIL were so impressed with this place. We thought for the cheap price we were going to be staying in something gross and run down but this was quite opposite. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is amazing, and we had no idea how close they were to down town and the lake. We walked to both places with small children. We would definitely stay her again. Had a wonderful time.
Pros: We've stayed here a few times and it's always great! The location is perfect. It's walking distance to the gondola for heavenly, stores, food, movie theater etc. the staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and gave a fridge and microwave. The beds are comfortable and there is wifi. Can't beat the price!
Cons: The hot tub wasn't hot enough.
Bluelake Inn at Tahoe puts you within a 10-minute drive of Heavenly Ski Resort. Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: had spa, pool, and sauna
location was good.
room was clean and nice.
Cons: when we check-in, the room was cold. heater and refrigerator was broken. After an hours, they changed the room.
Pros: Nice stay. Great location
Cons: Third party check in was extremely slow and my reservations we're lost
Pros: Family friendly
Pros: -Close to lake
-Clean and rooms seem renovated
Cons: -Shower didn't work in room
-HVAC unit in room VERY loud and disrupts sleep.
-Left watch on bed and left 2 messages with security/lost & found about it -- never heard back
-Staff is annoying and tries to sell you on timeshares for your next trip
-Overpriced for what it is
Pros: The room was nice - couches aren't too comfortable. Tyler at the front desk was very helpful upon check in.
Cons: The staff was extremely pushy at check in. They want you to check in with the concierge for a welcome packet and push a timeshare sale presentation on you. We tried to walk out to our car upon checking in and was followed by the concierge who had to introduce himself and check us off. When I said we weren't interested in the welcome packet as we were there for 1 night, the sales manager, Jesse, came up with another person crowding me and pushing me to get our welcome packet and followed me out the door insisting there is no sales commitment. I had stayed here before with family and liked it and was excited for my husband to stay there, but this treatment was too much and we will not be staying there again until they can learn to respect their customers privacy. The 1.5 hour wait to check in because the room was not ready was also too long.
Pros: It is beautiful, fun and superb deal for me my best everything
Pros: Room was clean and beautiful. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with a sofa sleeper in the living room. There was plenty of room for my family of 5. Having a kitchen was great. Good location on the water very close to Heavenly Ski Resort. We plan to return. It was very good value for money.
Cons: 1. Had to say no to the timeshare pitch. We did NOT sit through any timeshare presentation, but they sure tried to persuade us to.
2. Room had a view of parking lot not the mountains or lake.
3. No laundry facilities in the room but there were guest laundry facilities in the resort. Not enough machines.
Pros: Excellent hotel with lots of stuff for kids to do - swim, games, etc. restaurant excellent.
Cons: Housecleaning didn't clean out room each day but when needed towels they were delivered quickly.
Pros: The room was indeed deluxe; swimming pool, hot tub and the sauna were at a top level; beach was within an earshot
Cons: When we checked in, they sent us to the far corner of the hotel, only for us to find out the housekeeper was just starting to clean the room! She didn't speak any English but with my basic Spanish I understood that the room was not going to be ready soon. That was at 2 PM; then back to the reception and guess what, they had no other room available and the room they initially had us sent out to was to be ready at 5:30PM. Very inconvenient given the fact my 20 month toddler needed to have his regular nap between 2 and 4. They didn't even offer a discount or a treat of a sort. Once I got into an overbooked situation at Westin and they gave us a free dinner at their restaurant! Anyway, the next day a staff member came at the door of our room asking me if I had the room stay extended since I should have already cheched out. When I told the man I originally had the room booked for two nights he stared at me in disbelief. Poor, poor communication between housekeeping and receprion! Also, staff is not very friendly and nice! Also, check out time is 10AM, so they leave you with the feeling that they get you in late and ask you to leave early
Pros: The location, and facilities, the valet parking were very attentive.
Cons: Very late check in time, the front desk staff not very welcoming, we had to make our own beds, we were not timeshare members, we were hotel guests.
Pros: Friendly staff, gr8 location, good amenities, complimentary valet parking, newly renovated rooms
Cons: Very crowded....long check-in registration process in spite of pre online checkin ( this may be partly due to the Easter /spring break, hopefully)
Pros: The location was good. The beds were great for those with a sensitive back.
Cons: We were unaware that they were undergoing major renovations - evidently it was in the small print in our confirmation email. The face of the resort looked awful. The worst of it was that the pool, fitness center and jacuzzi were unavailable. They sent us to a rec center in town, which didn't work at all if you wanted to work out 1st thing in the morning before heading out, or to pop down and relax in a jacuzzi at the end of the day, because on the weekend the rec center opened too late. So we had to pay extra to visit a local fitness center. And when we asked for a refund on the daily "resort fee" at the hotel we were refused. The funny thing is that when we went there 2 years ago it was being renovated then! We had assumed it would be fixed by now - bad assumption!
