Very nice staff, great location for what I needed, and comfortable room.
It was surrounded by food locations Their breakfast
Traveling alone it was nice to see families gather in the lobby and enjoy a good time; they recapped their experiences while sharing a nice free breakfast. There was something for everyone. I liked the waffles. They were easy to make and yummy! The purpose for my visit. The price for the room made it affordable.
The friendliness of the staff and the roominess of the condos.
The rooms were very nice. The pool was great. Terrific location, close to our daughter. no
I loved the comfortable and spacious rooms. Rented a 2 bedroom suite but probably would have been fine with a large 1 bedroom suite. Very clean. came to spend weekend with family and friends felt the hotel accomodated all of us from ages 2 years to 46 years. cant bring an ice chest to the pool area. Could not find an ice machine anywhere.
Pool was large and slide very good for kids and adults. Rooms were quite good and the price was very good. Balcony was also very nice. Appreciated the computer and printer availability. USC students were there during our stay. Got a little noisy and a lot drunk.
That you could cook in your room and cut expenses by bringing your own groceries. Not a whole lot, they had poor customer service, Their planning for the july 4th holiday was horrible. There entertainment for karaokee was distgusting. I was not satisified at all with this resort for how many rooms we booked.
The room was very clean - staff friendly and helpful. It looked like it hadn't been kept up. We stayed here 2 years ago and the grounds upkeep was excellent but this time around it looked like they cut costs and the upkeep was one of them. We needed a extra blanket for my kids and there were none, asked for extra shampoo/conditioner as we only received 1 of each in our room with a tub plus shower and was told we had to pay extra. Last time we stayed we had 4 in the room plus Tide laundry soap which is now not included in the rooms. The sofa bed was horrible with springs popping out - no cushion on the thin mattress - very uncomfortable for my kids.
Rooms were just fine, not dirty but not above standard. Breakfast was awful. Facilities are heavily outdated. Location was in the boonies.
Bar was ok Room was dirty. Mold in bathroom, damaged furniture in the room, old food and trash on the floor under the bed.
Breakfast was a little skimpy.
Room was clean and stay was comfortable. My newborn slept longer through the night so that was a plus! No elevator.
It was at a good location and good price bed was comfortable. We were only really there to sleep as we were out in the city most of the time Some of the smoking rooms are located next to or in between non-smoking rooms I could smell the smoke smell in the bathroom
Fairly close to the spring training baseball fields that we visited. I thought the price was way over priced for the hotel. The hotel was loud, dirty and I would never stay there again. Dogs were allowed in rooms and were barking all the time.
Great and convenient location clean rooms and friendly staff. Great pool area and sports bar. Close to freeway and shopping.
They have bar, microwave, fridge and cable....... The bar closes at 9 always, the floors had the same burger splattered across 2 different hallways over a three day stay, the shower would go freezing every minute or so and the towels are only big enough for a smurf. You definetly get what you pay for. Wasn't gonna write a review, but was asked by Kayak 3 different times.
Fast check-in on a game day! Business center / store was not open at 4am.
Great hotel at an excellent location near shops, restaurants and the Jobing.com arena. The pool was very nice and food by the pool was excellent! We stayed there to attend the Coyotes Vs. Minnesota Wild hockey game. The Wild hockey players stayed at the hotel and my son was thrilled to meet and take photos after the game at the hotel. nothing - everything was great!
Clean room. Rooms were very small. Breakfast was poor..
The price was ok. The place was located in a maze of parking lots and was so hard to find at night. The room was tiny and smelled like old cigarettes. The bed was horrible and you could feel the springs in your back. The shower was the worst! Little tiles on the floor of the shower that when wet and soapy became an ice rink .
Comfy beds. Nice grounds. In the middle of Glendale and near Thunderbird hospital. Like the campus atmosphere! Five bucks to park. Very hard to find a parking spot near the front.
The thing that impressed me the most was that they had a refrigerator in the common area stocked with name brand pop, bottled water, ice tea, milk, juice, etc... available for free 24 hours a day. There were also name brand snack items - chips, granola bars, breakfast bars, etc... The beds were extremely comfortable, as were the pillows. The bathroom had a medicine cabinet for storing stuff, as well as a vanity under the sink. Towels were big and fluffy. The parking was limited. There was plenty of parking, but it was laid out in an odd fashion, that might require a bit of walking if you didn't get one of the close in spots. The shower was a corner unit that might be tight if you a larger person.
Overall a clean and utilitarian type of room. Nothing fancy for sure and if you're looking for a low price without worries this would be a great selection. Paper thin walls - I was in a separate building off of the main hotel so can't say whether all buildings are this bad, but I was wakened by the neighbor's alarm clock and overheard complete phone conversations - it was to the point I went outside to make calls.
Location, beautiful room for the cost, nice bathroom and shower. Private entry, very pleasant outdoor areas. Parking is a little inconvenient, and no visitor parking meant visitor had to park across the street at the strip mall.
Service was good and the rate was fair. The shower had mold and I wore my flip flops to shower.
Nice staff and located near shopping and restaurants. The pool and hot tub is outside. This is fine except for the days when the temp is 100+.
Staff is friendly, the mall is right there, clean rooms, awesome breakfast, clean hotel, id definitely stay here again.
We liked the size of the room, the comfy bed and the kitchenette. The size of the trash cans, to small.
The breakfast buffet was especially nice compared to the usual sort of "continental breakfast" hotels offer. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The suite had a living room area with a couch and its own TV.
When my husband and I stayed at Springhill, I couldn't have been more pleased. We went down there for a concert which ended up getting canceled. The ladies at the front desk helped us find things to do for the night and were just overall very friendly. The breakfast was good along with the unbeatable price. We are already planning to stay there again next month.
Staff was helpful even late at night. Breakfast bar included Right next to a lot of shopping Breakfast wasn't great
Very friendly/helpful staff, they have been trained well polite, know the area and offer good advice. They went out of their way to help us, the morning of checkout we had a flat tire and could not change it. We called mobile service and the staff allowed us to stay and offered cold water and other liquids as it was 107 degrees outside. The rooms only had a single TV, while it is big I do think two TVs would be better.
Good location near highway, big twin queen room. Nice breakfast buffet with fruit.
Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast with some cut up fruit, and hot foods. Good start to our day.
It was wonderful to return to our room at the end of the day and settle in to such comfortable beds with lots of pillows. The towels were the softest towels I've ever used in a hotel, for some reason. We had three breakfasts there and the hotel varied the main courses each time, though we didn't expect this. Even though the dining room was busy, people got through the line quickly, even if they were making waffles (which were delicious). There was a lot to choose from. I just wish that somebody had known for sure how to walk to the mall. Nobody agreed, and so we got lost. This is not a bad reflection on the hotel. We loved our choice of hotel & I will look for Hampton Inns in my travels; in fact, have stayed in another one before this.
Front counter staff was excellent. Breakfast area was pretty small.
I appreciated the attention from the staff. There were a couple issues that may have become uncomfortable if not handled correctly. But they've obviously been developed into a quality culture judging by the way they approach and handle situations. I did not like the payment issues that kicked off my stay. It's easy to believe the issue could have been with my financial provider rather than the hotel. But nonetheless, My wife was charged an additional $200 and yet have seen that refunded. I may be wrong, but I believe that's somethjng Hampton Inn should and couple take steps to correct. I'm trusting this issue will be resolved in the next couple days before any further action is taken.
stayed here for the weekend while attending a football game easy to get to the game from the hotel lots of restraunt choices in the area clean room staff riendly and helpful always said hello when passing by the desk
I have a bad back and I am over weight. This place was great. I slept very well and the staff were all very nice and helped me when I needed it.
Nice, clean rooms, friendly service. Awesome stay!
Extended Stay Suites in Peoria is in a great location and the staff were friendly. Clean enough, good TV and having a kitchen was great. Excellent AC unit and the shower was terrific. Yet, the beds were tiny (Full, not queen) and the hallways and our room stunk of cigarette smoke beyond belief. It never subsided and it trashed our sinuses, as it will for non-smokers. It was a stench that never went away and for that reason, we'll stay elsewhere next time. Sorry.
For $*/night, I guess the only thing I got for it was walking distance to Peoria baseball bark which you are about 12 blocks from. The bed was hard, but the room was clean and laundry worked well. Stay clear of the high speed internet service they offer for $5/day. I got speeds like dialup and tech support said it was antenna. Even though, they were able to increase speeds marginally. If you want internet service for less than two hours per day, there's a Starbucks right across the street and they will give you two hours for the price of coffee. It's what I'll do if I stay again. The fire alarm worked well. It went off at midnight, staff said it was because someone was cooking. Don't ask them to hold your luggage after check-out. They told me they had a room the COULD put them in, but weren't responsible. So all in all, I got the higher hotel rate with none of the perks, enjoy.
A nice quiet place to stay in a nice area. Good restaurants on the main road. Not an exciting place to stay if you are looking for a resort atmosphere, but great if you are on business or looking for a place for an extended period of time with kitchen so you don't have to eat out all the time
I stayed here the 2nd week of May 2009. Every previous hotel stay at a number of Extended Stay's in the Midwest were all without incident or dissatisfaction. The room was clean, the employees were courteous and the wifi was reliable and fast. The only issue I had while staying in was the loud music in the room next to mine. After lodging a complaint with the desk, twice, both incidents were taken care of. I recommend the Peoria Extended Stay to anyone. I will certainly be staying there should I find myself traveling to the area again. Love Extended Stay.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed the front desk staff, especially the morning staff. They were very friendly, helpful and fun to talk with. It's important to know that the room itself does not come stalked with amenities. If you are planning on using the kitchen at all you'll need to buy dish soap, dish cleaning brush, paper towels and extra utensils and dishes. (at least for a family of 4 or more). The walls are also extremely thin. We could clearly hear conversations in the rooms next to us and above us. I'd recommend earplugs.
if room was cleaned before last guest would have been great
room was not ready had to get a new room for one day . next two days bed was hard as a rock and only one pillow .
VERY hard mattress!!Room not adequately cleaned from last guest; found hairpins on floor.Other motels offer free breakfast, daily cleaning, free coffee, free Internet, etc. for same price.Only reason this was chosen was location and available rooms.
this place hasn't much positive to say about -- the location was ok but not easy to find at 11pm at night. Back parking area has hotel furniture and mattresses laying around --the whole place needs serious capital investment to bring it in to standards of 2016.
Good restaurants near by so you can stay away from your room. Room was a dump! Filthy, no sheets on bed, toilet paper sink was dirty. I saw plenty of " girls of the night" pretty sure it's a rent by the hour type place. I travel 270 days per year and stay in a lot of hotels I'm used to seeing some bad stuff but this is the only time I've reviewed one. It's so bad I never slept there I got another hotel in Scottsdale for a bit more but soooo worth it.
Close to many different areas, venues Did not like that the air conditioning comes on only when you enter the room. It was 115 outside and the room was 84. Took quite a while to get to 74
Staff was very friendly & concerned, rooms were clean & great We had issues with self check out on the TV & couldn't reach the front desk if you hit the button on the phone, the girl in the front said sometimes it does not work and sometimes had to hit 0. but she did say she would get it looked at.
The staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable. My key would not work in the reader to come in from outside. I was locked out for a while and had to call my boyfriend on the phone to come let me in. The curtains would not shut all the way so the sunlight came in early in the morning.
Employees were very helpful and friendly. Great value AND free breakfast. No fridge - I thought that was standard in rooms.
this hotel is in walking distance to the stadium. its very clean and roomy for the money. we got a suit where the kids stayed in one room and my husband and i stayed in another.i will go back again.
Very accommodating staff - I booked a great flight/hotel package and they matched the discounted hotel rate when I requested an additional room. The suites are moderately sized and have no partition between bed and living space, so I booked a second room for my pre-teen boys next to our room. Our room overlooked the pool and we did have a bit of noise in the evening from other families using the pool - nothing over the top. Exercise faciliites were great. Morning breakfast included hot foods like scrambled eggs, french toast, waffles, sausage, potatoes - more than the traditional cold cereal and pastries served by other hotels promoting 'free continental breakfast'. My boys were happy - so was I. VERY close to movies, sports venues, restaurants and shopping.
If you are looking for a very nice place to relax with peace and quiet. Please visit the Glendale Residence Inn. Also, the customer service is great and they have a wonderful staff, My husband and I stayed here for our 3rd Wedding Anniversary and the hotel is very clean and everything is upgraded. Tip - Walking distance from the Westgate with nice restaurants and shop and the dancing water just like Bellagio in Las Vegas.
THis was a great weekend getaway spot. My wife and I travel a lot and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The free buffet breakfast and evening drinks were great too. The best part of our stay was the fact that we could go across the street to a place called West Gate. They have some many things to do. Restaurants and bars galore!!!
I stayed at the Residence Inn in Glendale AZ (right across from the Univeristy of Phoenix Stadium) and had such a great time. We were there for a tournament in town that had the area filled, and after hearing the stories about the other near by hotels, I have to say I am so grateful that I satyed at the Residence Inn. From the minute we got there, to the minute we left, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a great one! Breakfast was delicious (and free). The pool was absolutely wonderful....it almost had a resort feel to it!!! I highly reccomend staying at this hotel, I will definately come back!
Great location to stay for a NFL or NHL game,. Very welcoming and knowledgable staff. I will stay again.
My family and I stayed in the 2 bedroom suite for three nights. We loved it! It was spacious and had everything. We needed for the kitchen. It was only 2mins from the university of Phoenix stadium where my sisters graduation ceremony was being held. I wish we had stayed longer. Overall for the price, it was a good deal. Next graduation we're going to book the same suite.
Beautiful, fantastic wonderful, beautiful suites with full kitchens and granite counters. it was nicer than my house. this is an amazing place to stay. great breakfast every morning, this place is a 10
Spent 4 nights in July 2009 and loved everything about the Residence Inn by Mariott Phoenix Glendale. The hotel is beautiful. Rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Front desk and other staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Breakfast was very nice and we were even able to grab something before the 6am start when we left for the day at 5:30. Evening reception is also a great touch. Location is wonderful...close to the freeways and many fun restaurants at Westgate Center. Loved the convenience of printing out boarding passes using the computer in the hotel's business area. And my boyfriend loved that it was walking distance from Cabelas. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The B&B was quaint and cozy. Easy to navigate and felt like I was staying at someone's very nice home. Not a thing.
The best part of our stay was the German restaurant next door and friendly staff. Our room was soo loud! We could hear people burping, flushing their toilets, taking showers, singing, and the really loud bathroom fans.
The service was excellent. Love the layout, style. Loved the morning breakfast selections. The smoothie was absolutely one of the best.A Christmas present was Bob Seger ticket at Gila arena. The arena was close by
we liked it because it was close to the venue for the wedding we were attending. It was quaint and in downtown Glendale. We ended up walking around downtown a bit and that was nice because we didn't have to drive. If you are a smoker, you will not like this hotel. There are lots of rules about where and when you can smoke. We also waited almost 10 minutes to check in because the person who was supposed to be doing that was busy. It took a couple tries to get help
Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is very close to two bus routes and the Glendale information centre is a few minutes walk away.
Great staff and facilities. Thank you very for a good time!
is very comfort and economic the parking and wifi
The hotel consists of two buildings. The one with the lobi inside has internet all over but the internet connection does not reach to the other building. The continental breakfast is ok, keeps you ok until the lunch. The air conditioning is a bit loud but you cannot get better for this price. You can just shut it down whenever you want to.
The bed to our suprise was really comforitable! The staff was friendly and it was very quite! The area was rather bad. I really didnt want to go out at night didnt feel safe. Plus the room was rather old looking and run down.
nothing ice machine didnt work, train went by & made lots of noise
