Pros: Very personable staff. Room was cute and clean
Pros: clean, modern, friendly staff
Pros: Location was a benefit.
Cons: No pay preview movies. I have never stayed in a hotel without pay preview movie abilities. Noisy hall with heavy doors slamming.

Cons: Upon our arrival and check in, we were assigned a room on the fifth floor. Having brought a number of items for family members, we needed to unload our vehicle as the Motel is located in a high crime area; full of abandoned buildings which previously housed Night Clubs, Pubs, Movie Theaters, Restaurants, and Strip Malls. I went in search of a luggage cart to speed and easy the task. Not finding any in the area of the elevator, I returned to the lobby and asked the front desk attendant where they stored them. I was informed they could be anywhere in the Hotel. After searching seven floors, I finally found one outside in the parking area. It was the one, and only one for the entire Hotel.
Next problem we encountered was when I flushed the stool in the bathroom and water sprayed out from between where the tank sets on the bowl. I notified the front desk of the problem, and following repeated notifications to the front desk of the leak, it was repaired on the fourth day of our stay.
During our stay, the fire alarm went off three times resulting in our evacuating the Hotel down five flights. The Hotel was undergoing major repairs due to the roof leaking and major water damage to dry wall in many areas of the Hotel.
There Elevators move at the speed of stillness. They are hydraulic and jerk and bump you around as the hydraulic cylinders expand or collapse. The elevator by the lobby broke on the weekend, and all seven floors were reduced to one Elevator serving the entire population.
The quality of the Continental Breakfast was very poor and second rate. We went out for breakfast after the first morning.
The Hotel’s lack of concern for the well being and safety of their guests is a big issue. All you heard was guests talking about how bad things were with the Hotel and staff.

Pros: Close to Six Flags, conveniently located to shopping centers and restaurants. One road takes you directly to Six Flags. Very clean place.
Cons: Just one elevator but there is two stairwells.
Pros: 3 mile drive to Magic Mountain thru town streets.
Pros: The staff was very nice and helpful. Had no problems checking in and out. The room was mostly clean and comfortable. From what I saw, the hotel overall was well kept, clean and comfortable. Overall very happy with my stay.
Cons: Don't get me wrong, I think the cleaning crew did a great job and I know their job is tough, but I would just like to point out a couple of things that could be better: hair on the bathroom floor and coffee pot was not clean.
Pros: Great hot breakfast! Bacon, eggs, waffles, breads fruits cereals.
Comfortable and spacious suites. Quiet. Clean room.
Cons: Minor fixes needed in bathroom. Toilet ran and small spots of mold above shower as well as small area of wallpaper above shower needing gluing.
Pros: Very pleased with this Comfort Suite. This one changed my mind after having a poor experience with one in San Diego. I will be back checking in now that not Comfort Inns are alike. Very good value, and easy to get to.
Pros: i loved the cleanliness and attributes, like microwaves and fridgerators in rooms. i love the sitting area in the room as well. it's spacious, clean, updated and a very pleasant place to stay. Breakfast was great too, alot of great choices of foods. i loved just about everything!
Cons: my only complaint is i wish the hotel had a lounge to have cocktails.
Pros: The staff was great, breakfast was great!
Pros: Most everything. The staff was great! The facilities clean and comfortable. Enough stations on the TV.
Cons: Only complaint was the fitness facility could have been in a little better shape other wise no real complaints.

Cons: The room had a stale / moldy smell. It is the worst hotel experience I ever had.
Pros: We were upgraded to a room that had an outside entrance but was secured through the lobby entrance since we were Holiday Inn frequent users.
Cons: Busy weekend and cleaning staff was behind; the interior rooms were not ready by 4p. Property needs more renovation and surprised that Holiday Inn would take over the buildings.

Pros: This was a nice hotel. Friendly staff and easy check in. Excellent breakfast. Spacious room and comfortable beds.
Cons: Had a corner room and was noisy until 10:00pm.
Cons: Lock on my door wouldn't work therefore I was unavle to get into my room 3 times until they were able to solve the issue. Communication and resolution was very poor.
Pros: Breakfast was beyond what was expected. The pool and outdoor space was very attractive. The layout of the hotel was very nice. Very clean and comfortable. Check-in staff was super.
Cons: The style of the interior of the rooms was a bit outdated.
Pros: Breakfast was very nice.
Cons: Rooms and infrastructure are in desperate need of updating.
Horribly ugly patched up bathtub, Counter torn out of room replaced with closet, but in a very depressing way. It was sad to spend so much money on such bare minimum surroundings.
Pros: The location was close to many things, food wasn't in shortage near the hotel! And there are many markets *Target, Ralphs were within 5 min drive. It was a quite, very good stay for the price
Cons: On the second night, we learned that the freezers aren't exactly like the ones in a normal home so DON'T BUY ICE CREAM AND PUT IT IN THERE. Also there was a couple of surprise guests, 2 crickets that came in through a missed hole from the caulking. Its all good though, aside from that this location was EXTREMELY clean and welcoming
Pros: The staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was outstanding!
Cons: There are no elevators. We were fine but if you have any challenges with stairs request a first floor room.
Pros: Great staff, great hotel
Cons: Staff, food and room
Pros: the breakfast was great!
Cons: the beds werent comfortable and the room was a little outdated
Pros: Very, very clean rooms and super comfy beds & a delicious warm breakfast! We would definitely recommend this hotel.
Pros: The staff was professional and courteous. The price matched our expectations.
Cons: It felt like a hotel on the decline. It felt like its peak was in 1992, and has since been in need of a large renovation.
Pros: Wonderful breakfast, close to freeway and shopping, friendly staff
Cons: Bathroom needed updating
Pros: I particularly like the pillows. I don't know where the hotel industry gets them, but I'm on a search for my own bed!

Cons: AC was pathetic. too loud. can't sleep in that much noise.
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. The mini fridge and microwave were clean and new. The bathroom was updated. The bed and pillows were very comfy, the wifi worked well, and the TV was nice. For the price and location, we were extremely satisfied with our stay.
Pros: Very clean and rooms look good.
Cons: I got there at check in time and still had to wait 30 minutes for the room.
Pros: Great value for your money. After reading so review I was like oh crap why did I book here. But that was not the case at all! It was clean and not noisy at all! Like some peoples reviews. When we go back to 6 flags we will definitely stay here again. You can't beat the price.
Cons: I don't really have anything negative to say. The only thing is it's like a mile or 2 away from stores and gas stations.
Pros: I was pleasantly surprised to see how big the rooms were. Everything was clean. Great location .
Cons: The staff was so unfriendly. I went down to the lobby to ask for an extra towel and got asked "why?" Very rudely and then was told it was my fault for having the "do not disturb" sign on the door.... Sorry that I don't like having people come in my room when I have tons of stuff in there? Very rude staff.
Pros: Very affordable stay. Free wi-fi available
Cons: Not too keen about the location. I was searching for a place to stay at Valencia right off of Hwy 5 and didn't know why they directed me to Santa Clarita. Hotel is right off a busy/noisy highway.
Pros: The motel was clean and think for the price, it is a great deal. I would book a stay again.
Cons: Towels didn't smell clean
Pros: Really good place! Clean, nice renovated rook and affordable!
At Santa Clarita Motel, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Six Flags Magic Mountain and Scratch. Guests will have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Very clean, freindly staff. Easy freeway access
Pros: The room was clean, and decorated nicely. It was comfortable, AC/heater worked great. Totally worth every dollar, definately going back.
Pros: I liked how inexpensive it was compared to a 4star hotel
Cons: I didn't like how there wasn't a double lock and a piece of chewed gum in our bed. I was too tired to even discuss this with the front desk. I just wanted out of there the next morning
Pros: The room was very big and looked nice.
Cons: Dippy tub fixture. Not good when the state has water issues.

Pros: The location is nice, close to shopping and coffee. Pool and hot tub area is nice and clean.
Cons: Rooms were not very clean, old, tub stained, shower curtain moldy, fridge was off when arrived and once on it froze our drinks, hard to get in and out of with baby things.
Pros: GREAT PRICE, CLOSE TO VENUE.
Pros: staff, room
Cons: bath towels needed to be larger and I'm a small person!
Pros: Quiet, relatively comfortable rooms.
Cons: Restaurant and room service very over priced
Pros: The beds of the hotel were nice and the bathroom had a very nice tub and shower. Those were the only highlights on this stay.
Cons: The wifi in our room did not work at all and they said it was because we were in a part of the hotel where the signal was weak. They told me to hook the ethernet cable to my laptop and even that didn't work. It took 3 calls down to the front desk to get someone to finally fix the ethernet cable. The first night we came in, there must have been an event or a load of people at the restaurant in the hotel because we could not find a parking space anywhere remotely close to the entrance of the hotel. By the next morning half those cars were gone so I knew they weren't guests. The walls of the hotel were also sort of thin and I could hear someone next door talking loudly on their phone. Overall it was not a pleasant experience and I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: Because we didn't book through the hotel the meager breakfast that others got for free cost us $10 each. After enough complaining they took that charge off. Other places offer free bottles of water - this place charged 2.50 if you drank one. The room smelled like cigarette smoke even though it said it was a no smoking room.
Pros: Live music at the Arena, total comfort in my room, nice restaurant, good food, good wine!
Cons: Tv sound was set so that we could not adjust volume and when air conditoner was running could not hear TV. Was told BT
t the desk this c was done by cable company. That made no sense.
Pros: Great Value for the room ,located close to shopping
Cons: Low water pressure, stale smell in rooms
Pros: Excellent value. Great amenities: gym, bar & grill, pool, WiFi & wired internet access.
Cons: Water pressure was very low, making it difficult to shower. I understand conservation but I would prefer to make that a conscious decision rather than be forced by the plumbing.
Pros: I like that the hotel has everything in it. Little gift shop, cafe, room service, etc, the other hotels in the area don't have any of these things. It's really a good size and rather comfortable room for the money.
Cons: The 2 rooms I was in needed painting on the bathroom doors, the Door security feature in both rooms were worn out. Light bulbs in bathroom needed changing.
Located off highway 118, the Grand Vista Hotel sits high on a hilltop with great views of the valley below, and is within 10 miles of Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Simi, and the San Fernando Valley.
Pros: The beds were decent in our room, and we didn't hear the freeway much as our room was the furthest from the freeway. Easy to find location, too.
Cons: TINY pool (the kids were massively disappointed, but made the best of it), broken hot tub, older facility, SMALL parking spaces, and although we didn't expect much for breakfast for the price when we went there in the morning there was almost nothing! The person at the front desk didn't make a move to restock anything when we showed up, and there wasn't much there to begin with in the first place. Maybe one tiny muffin, one packaged danish, and some juice. I'm a "make the most of it" kind of guy, but we won't be staying here again. Spend a few extra bucks and find something better!
Located in Santa Clarita - Magic Mountain, this motel is within 6 mi (10 km) of Castaic Lake, Scratch, and Valencia Country Club. Six Flags Magic Mountain and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor are also within 9 mi (15 km).
Cons: Breakfast was not represented well online...it was coffee and granola bars only
Cons: clean great parking-well lit at nite personnel were all pleasant
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: I was expecting a continental breakfast. But end up with coffee only.
Pros: I like the fact that I can get a hotel room at a reasonable price.
Cons: We ask for a non smoking room, which we got but my wife and I almost had a Asthma attack. And this is true for all stay America that I have stayed in. The hall ways really need some help because the lobby does not have this problem.
Pros: Positives: It's 'home away from home.' It meets needs for price. No bugs.
Cons: Negatives: corporate frustrates the place - they are on a short leash. For example they are always out of something. This time muffins, coffee cup lids and fruit. Parking Is tight. No space for check ins. Plumbing can be a problem- slow drains.
Pros: Closeness to Highway 118
Pros: Clean and nice
Cons: The beds were too small
Pros: The staff was very friendly. Hotel employee at the front desk was incredibly accommodating.
Cons: There are no privacy shades on the window. Your options are total darkness, or a wide opened window.
Cons: Front desk staff was kind of rude. You have to ask for hotel amenities, which i still never received. At times the front desk staff would hide in their office do they wouldn't have to help their guests.
Pros: The room was nice and comfortable
Cons: I was not aware of some of the clientele. Though the area itself is nice the location attracts drugs and alcohol users as told to me by police after my vehicle was hit while parked but no information left. There was no functioning camera
Cons: The filth, the smell, the service, the lack of 'home' feeling, the STAFF, everything was horrible.
Enjoy your visit to Brandeis with a stay at Extended Stay America Los Angeles - Simi Valley. Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails, and free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking. Apartments feature kitchens and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: Friendly staff, cleanliness, convenience (many stores and restaurants near by as well as access to freeways) , spacious rooms
Pros: There were cocaroaches in my room staff unprofessional will never stay there again when advised there were roaches in the room we were staying they said ok didn't offer a new room or anything
Motel 6 Simi Valley is walking distance to many restaurants. Several wineries and Universities are within 15 miles. Beautiful California beaches are 17 miles. Enjoy our outdoor pool. Relax with Wi-Fi in all of our modern rooms for a fee.
Pros: The check in staff was friendly and as helpful as they could be.
Cons: It was a filthy establishment. I have no problem staying in a place like this, it was cheap. However, I felt bad for the people that had kids with them. If I had to stay there for longer than a couple of nights I would get my own stuff to clean with.
Pros: Nice kitchen
Cons: They told me I couldn't check in for 30-45 min and then they couldn't find me in the system
Located in Santa Clarita - Magic Mountain, this aparthotel is 1.4 mi (2.2 km) from Valencia Lanes and within 6 mi (10 km) of Six Flags Magic Mountain and Valencia Country Club. The Ivy Day Spa and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor are also within 6 mi (10 km).
Cons: Bed bugs, food poising, no hot water, terrible customer service. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. They had no elevator and when I asked for help, they said they didn't do that. I asked for a wake up call and that never happened. TERRIBLE!
Pros: It has beds to sleep on
Cons: Nothing else is good
Pros: The prices are cheap.
Pros: The lobby, gate, pool and parking is good. But it will help if they work a lot more on the cleanliness. The curtain had tears with about 3 inches long, the bathroom door and wall is extremely dirty. It had dark stain where you can see someone had an effort to clean it but it almost looked muddy, public toilet outside would probably be cleaner. I saw strands of hair folded inside our towel. Need a bit more lighting in their rooms.
Overall, if they would have focused more on cleanliess inside the room it would have been a pleasant stay.
Cons: Please read above. So dirty. Cleanliness 3/10
Pros: If it's nearby places you would like to go there is nothing wrong with this place. Got in, got out and my room was clean. The room was cheap too.
Cons: The place is definitely older and not exactly in a "nice" part of town. If you don't care about those things it's not really a big deal though.
Pros: This place is blocks away from restaurants, stores and about 30 minutes away from Santa Monica.
Cons: The beds are uncomfortable, looked like there was mold in the shower.... And the shower heads feels like someone is hoseing you down with lots of pressure. Unfinished patch work on the walls.
Pros: The staff seem friendly and the lobby was nice for a motel. The kids liked the breakfast offered. The room was good size. It does need some updating. There were unfinished patching on the wall. There was a tiny cockroach in the bathtub. That was the only roach we saw for the stay. Although I can't help but assume there more hidden behind the scene.
Pros: It was near the cemetery where we needed to be...
Cons: It was dirty... Staff either couldn't hear due to the bullet proof glass or they don't understand English well.... Tub was dripping water all nite and all the time... We are in a drought!!!!!! Drapes and bed was discusting ...
Pros: It was cheap and has a great location; there is cable, nice pool and closed parking lot. Rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. Essentially, you get what you paid for, a decent room for a decent price; if you're planning to use this only for sleeping and not to spend all day there.
Cons: Rooms are a little dirty and lack some maintenance. Housekeeping did not clean our room half the days we were there.
Pros: Close to restaurant and Fwy access
Cons: Housekeeping service Stole my husband new pants!!!
Pros: Price and Location
Cons: Clogged toilet when we first arrived, called front desk three times before someone showed up. "Renovations" taking place with hammering at 7am.
Pros: The bed wasn't so bad
Cons: The bed
Located in San Fernando, this hotel is 0.4 mi (0.7 km) from Andres Pico Adobe and within 6 mi (10 km) of Nethercutt Museum and Nethercutt Collection. Wat Thai of Los Angeles and Valley Performing Arts Center are also within 6 mi (10 km).
Cons: Dirty prostitution drugs and terrible overall experience
Pros: It was cheap.
Cons: It wasn't at all roomy. They gave us 3 totally flat pillows for a king size bed. Staff wasn't very friendly
Pros: Rodeway Inn is located in the hub of Castaic, so you can walk to anything you need is was great.
Pros: Overall the stay was good. Liked it.
Cons: Nothing specific. I didn't find any negatives as such other than that your would find some large trailers also parked on the premises, but still thats fine.
Cons: The room could of been cleaned a little better in places. Candy wrappers around the sides of the bed and dusty. The breakfast could of went a little later in the morning
Pros: The location of our was very quiet
Cons: Night staff kept us waiting for long periods of time.
Cons: The bathtub looks like it could use some remodelling. The room had a strong smell of smoke (although admittedly it is a smoking room). However for the price and location, there is no better deal (at the time).
Pros: well, what they say is true. you get what you pay for. I searched for cheap and I got it. I did like that it was about 5 minutes away from six flags . it was clean.
Cons: didn't like that the entrance to it on both sides is so steep my car scrapped twice causing bodily damage to my car underneath. I discovered a back way to exit the hotel so I used it. anyone with a low car avoid the front entrance .I drive a Chrysler 300 .

Pet Accommodation: 30.00 Per Night and Per Pets. Non-smoking rooms available.
Pros: The staff when I checked in was very friendly! The bed good job on upgrading them to more comfortable beds! And can't forget the waffles lol!
Cons: Did not have hot water and when I mentioned it upon check out all I got was "oh I'll have maintenance check it out"! Rooms could use some paint!
Cons: One of the staff members clearly went through our bags while we were out, luckily nothing of value was left. After requesting a non-smoking room we were given a smoking room anyways that smelled awful and had countless holes burnt through the carpet. The bathroom curtains were stained and dirty.
Pros: It was ok for the money paid.
Cons: The beds were rock hard and the sheets were stiff and stained
Cons: When I made the reservation it was for a handicap accessible room. When I showed up for check in at 1:30 AM I was told it was on the second floor with no elevator. They had a "handicap accessible" room I could get for an additional $20 per night. The scooter couldn't get into the room so I had to pick it up to get it in and out. The room was dirty. The beds uncomfortable. There were bugs. It was nothing like the pictures.
Cons: I didn't even stay, pulling in and parking my car and seeing residents staring off the second floor did not feel safe. I payed a cancellation to get out of there, there were cars that were broken down, flat tires etc. looked like a place people lived, did not feel safe
Pros: The staff was super friendly when checking in. Great location. Bare minimum sort of place but totally manageable!
Cons: To be honest, it wasn't that clean. It was cleaner when we left than when we arrived because I did it haha. But the other issue is that parking sucks and they run out of spots quickly.
Pros: Check out
Cons: The people running this hotel should seek a new line of work. The smell of the room was deeply disturbing. I think it must have been several years since it was last cleaned. Linens were torn, smelly and stained. Coffee at breakfast was tepid. Food was bad.
Cons: Behind the dressors, toilet, and bed had metal bars sticking out of it that caused us to injure ourselves. It was not a well taken care of room and wish I would have never stayed there.
Pros: Location - was pretty convenient right off I-5, with several food options around.
Cons: Hotel was dirty, looked unsafe, with mostly truck drivers staying there. There was a grop of peole outside on the balcony, smoking, drinking and being loud. We were afraid to call the front desk about it, as we noticed there was no security whatsoever.
Complimentary breakfast was a joke.
Pros: Friendly staff. Quiet atmosphere. Ease of check-in/out.
Cons: Drain in the shower was stopped up.
Cons: Extremely loud air conditioner. Woke us up throughout the night
Pros: The location
Cons: The room was not worth the $150 plus tax price (more like $80-90) and the room had to be over 85 degrees when we arrived. At ten o'clock at night, I can't sleep when it's that hot.
