Friendly and generous staff. Difficult to find good restaurants around but the best to continue my trip on ferry,it's just 100 meters away from the port.
Poor surroundings,no restaurant at all. Taxi from train station ripped me off with 20 €. because if by bus, I got to walk with heavy luggage.
I answered to this question in in question 1 :)
The manager, Saverio, was absolutely excellent (and speaks very good English). Nothing was too hard and always helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we've had in 6 weeks. Room was spacious and very clean.
A little tricky to find, but our Tom Tom did well. Free parking is outside the hotel and sometimes it was difficult to get one but we always managed.
The staff was multi-lingual, very friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was also close to the start of the promenade that went alongside the water. The breakfast in the morning was very good. We liked this hotel so much that we have since stayed at it again.
close to harbour
not enough info from desk re bus numbers, timetables of museums etc
the rooms were spacious and it was within walking distance to the station and ferry
the shower wasn't attached to the wall and wobbled when being used. It also took some time for the hot water to come through. The receptionist did't seem to know much English and couldn't give specific directions on where to find things in town.
The room was very roomy with a large bathroom and clean. The staff were very helpful.
No internet access. Not in a very nice area.
convenient to the port in Reggio Calabria
the staff spoke no English
The room itself was great
