It is very comfortable hotel with good location, but the standard rooms are small, I think it is better to book a suite. It is quiet place (there are no cars, people behind the window). If you like enjoy tourist attractions this hotel is for you!
It is right in the centre of St. Petersburg's historical area and was very convenient for sightseeing.
Hotel staff did not speak much English and communication was very difficult. Walls between the rooms were so thin that I could hear what's happening in the next room which disturbed my sleep.
Location was perfect. Value for the money was pretty reasonable, especially given the location. We had a "junior suite" with an L-shaped room that offered a good solution for sharing a room with our 3 young kids, although the room was a bit small and the bathroom was functional but tiny. Staff was friendly; their english was not very good but they made up for it by trying hard (and a few times they sat me in front of their online translation program).
Breakfast was very minimal - coffee, packaged white bread, butter, jam, and not much more - and was cramped into the very small lobby area.
