clean and friendly we liked it all
The rooms are beautiful. A complemtry something would have been nice and made the price more worth it.
Wonderful staff! Comfort and beauty.
Room was overall clean, nice view, casino was great. Room wasn't ready when we were told it would be, so they moved us to the 4th floor instead of asking if we would mind waiting. The bed comforter was lumpy and dirty. We had a king unit but only was given 3 pillows.
The room was nice and spacious. The beds were decently comfortable. Most of the staff was excellent (pool attendants, front desk, cleaning staff, and most of service staff in Tiwa cafe on 1st floor). The casino staff is good as well. The door locks are not sensitive enough. It takes several seconds for the access point on the door to read the card. Not a terrible problem, but it was a bit annoying. The room has no refrigerator (might want to bring a cooler if possible). The pillows were a little lacking (don't provide great neck support). Although the room was smoke free and smelled good the hallways and lobby sometimes smell like smoke because the casino goers smoke like chimneys and tend to drag the smell with them. The staff works very hard to maintain a clean facility however. It's just something that will not get better unless smoking is banned on premise.
Love the value, comfort, newness of hotel. The food was terrible, tasteless and not made fres, burgers and fries premade, tasteless.
I LIKED THE RENOVATIONS THE HOTEL/CASINO HAVE MADE AND ARE STILL MAKING. I THINK THAT ON THE WEEKENDS NEED A COFFEE SHOP WITH MORE HEALTH ORIENTED SNACKS AVAILABLE DURING LATE HOURS. ALSO TIME AGO YOU USED TO HAVE ON THE WEEKENDS LIVE MUSIC OR A DANCE AREA, NOT JUST A BAR ALSO A SMALL SPA. I HAVE TO GO TO SANDIA, AND SOMETIMES I THINK ABOUT RENTING THERE JUST SO I DON'T HAVE TO BE TRAVELING BACK AND FORTH THERE. AND LETS NOT FORGET ABOUT THE KIDS, THE AREA AND GAMES ARE ALWAYS THE SAME, NO NEW TECHNICAL STUFF GOING ON
We enjoyed the room, balcony, staff, pool, casino, showroom, etc... Cleanliness of the room was not the greatest. My husband and I had to clean up pubic hair on the floor and in the bathtub. We also had to clean up boogers that were pasted on the wall. Room was beautiful and comfortable and we still enjoyed out time, we hope the rooms get cleaned thoroughly for our next stay.
The restaurant staff was kind and polite. The food was delicious. We had very loud neighbors that were screaming, yelling, laughing, and banging things around all night. We filed a noise complaint with the front desk but nothing changed. Finally just before midnight we decided to leave as no one was able to sleep. When we were checking out the front desk didn't try to switch us rooms, offer suggestions, or offer refunds in any way. He just said you booked through a separate service so there's nothing I can do. My husband and I have stayed at many resorts that include casinos and have never had such an awful experience. I sent a formal complaint to the manager, as none was available that evening, and still have yet to hear a single word back. We will never stay here again!!
Casino was very smoky
Beautiful resort, great service, well maintained amenities. Balcony view is of the roof of the pool, casino, and spa. In the middle of nowhere.
Had to pay a resort fee even after all the taxes and fees had been paid thru kayak. Certainly not worth the cost I will go back to a four or five star hotel where I get service for the cost.
Clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff The heater in room 220 was so loud that I had to wear ear plugs to sleep at night.
Location. Breakfast was good. Baserooms were old and no view. Friends stayed on upper floor and they were very happy with their rooms. Please request rooms on upper floors.
Service was great. The rooms were clean. The view from the balcony was awesome. There were people partying close to our room and woke us up with their loudness.
One nice person at the desk Every thing
The room was clean and neat, bed was comfortable. The meal was a good start for my day. The number of power drips in the room. I realize this is a older buiding they was built when there was not electrical device we have now a days. I requested a room off the front desk and was put in a room 1/4 way down hall, I have lung problems and require oxygen the futher I have to walk I run out of air.
Staff were helpful & friendly. Clean, comfortable room. Had trouble connecting to WiFi in our room. Connection was good in the lobby, but spotty & sometimes unavailable in the room.
location Old, dirty
Our entire stay was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very comfortable and welcome. Our stay was very good there wasn't anything that we could complain about.
Good price not s bad location Room was on the freeway side and there was noise all night, the breakfast was all carbs
Staff was helpful in getting us in promptly, and supplied us with information about getting a dinner meal-it was late, we were hungry and there was no place near by to get food. (We ordered in Pizza which was good and came in good time). No place to walk near by. Chair in our room was broken.
Beautiful indoor pool n spa
Modern decor. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Internet didn't work at all from my room
Large room. Comfortable bed. Not the room we reserved. Told sold out though our reservation paid for and our sheet clearly showed room type. Sheets never changed during 3 night stay. Used cups and glasses not removed by housekeeping. First night, no toiletry products in room. Housekeeping substandard. All else great.
Nice clean rooms comfortable beds Noise from construction
Front desk was very friendly!
Great service; staff is friendly and make sure you are enjoying your stay. The eating area for breakfast could use a few more tables. Double beds seemed too small.
Friendly staff, awesome room for the price. Breakfast was amazing!
Staff was nice and friendly! Only stayed one night to get to my very early flight next morning. Very comfortable room and very clean!
Size of room, airport pickup, large TV, help with questions
Great hybrid concept. Upscale accommodations with limited services served our purposes at a reasonable rate.
The person manning the front desk ( Chad) during check in was very professional ,courteous and helpful. the room layout and shower are excellent. We missed breakfast
When we checked in we were given a handicapp room which we didn't reserve. We also were not impressed with the morning staff. Our shuttle was late to the airport because we had to hunt down staff. The person driving the shuttle would not buckle their seat beat so an alarm went off every 2 minutes. Next time we will look for places elsewhere.
comfort of room and friendly staff. I had booked a King size, hoping my husband would meet up with me. But he could not, and the King was not available. Desk person said this sometimes happen with internet reservations. As I was leaving to go to my room, I picked up a soda and bag of chips to pay for, and it was given to me complimentary. Nice Parking was difficult as the parking lot was full, however a security guard was outside at 2am watching the parking lot, and she helped me find a spot. Super nice!
Clean room, friendly staff, decent complimentary breakfast
Sketchy neighborhood felt unsafe leaving the property at night . Pool had very imited hours. internet strength was up and down
He let me sit in the lobby while I found another room They did not have a room for me
My room smells like marijuana
quiet non congested traffic close to downtown room are smaller than usual
The hotel didn't have a pool, they give you a pass to use a public gym.. lots of homeless arround the area. My room wasn't cleaned on time so I had to call the manager.
The Andaluz has a wonderful history and the remodel saved it's antique flavor. We found the employees friendly and knowledgable about its past. Loved the bar on the 2nd floor. All the beers on tap were local.
Friendly staff, great restaurant. Check in was in a small, cramped room. The room was kind of small, especially the bathroom. It is an older hotel that they have tried to upgrade. Not much of a view. Not in a great part of town but I am not sure Albuquerque has such a thing.
Great atmosphere. Beautiful inside and out. Great price to quality ratio. Comfy bed. Clean. Good location. Water pressure in the shower was really low. No complimentary breakfast. Receptionist was a little formal/stuffy, but still very helpful.
My prepaid room was given away. After arriving at the hotel on a late flight, I was told to take a letter to a different hotel across town because they didn't have my room. This happened to several other guests that evening. The other hotel was considerably far from my meetings that brought me to town for 3 days. Hotel clerk rude and dismissive at checkin.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful with every aspect. The restaurant, Mas, with its roof top bar & tapas was a very fun way to spend our first evening.
Location is good and overall clean but small rooms. They put us in the wrong room when we checked in so we had to go back to front desk. It was about 9:30 pm. Put all 4 of us in room with one bed instead of two queen beds.
The beds were great You had water in the room for a fee. Either give the water or don't put it in there.
Nice central location close to any amenities such as shipping and restaurants. The hotel itself is clean and would be perfect for the business traveler. We chose this hotel for the location and heated pool. The pool was small (looks large in pictures) but I would not consider it a truly heated. It felt like going into an ice bucket every time. Our family would do laps just to get warmed up enough to stay in it. We travel a lot and on the heated side of this I would rate the pool a 2. It did however offer up a great hot tub. Perfectly set temperature. We did not eat at the restaurants but it looked nice and there was also a Starbucks inside. Most places we stay the staff always greets you, this one did not. Employees were always too busy talking. They were however nice when approached. As a former business traveler I would say this place is a hit. As a family I might try another place next time I stay in ABQ just to see what else is out there.
EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! I LIKED THAT THE MALL WAS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. THE STAFF WAS AMAZING. I HAD AN ISSUE AND THEY TOOK CARE OF IT FOR ME!!!
Low price, courteous staff, Heavy area traffic is not conducive to pedestrians wishing to walk to Uptown. Its not far, but a lot of lights and 6-8 lane highways to cross. No pool (but we knew that), loud and off-key band in the lobby lounge at check in. Worn side chair in room, dirty/worn elevators. Hung the do not clean sign but the housekeeping staff came in anyway. Nit picking really, as we pretty much got what we expected from an older Sheraton-run property.
My adult son and I visited Albuquerque for Thanksgiving with family. We were very pleased with the comfort and the option of no linen service to help conserve water in this drought-stricken area. The mini-fridge came in very handy, and I liked the nice touch of having flavored water available in the lobby for a quick drink. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants so can't comment on them. Drinks were pricey in the bar. Vouchers were issued if one chose not to have linen service. But the vouchers didn't mention where they could be redeemed. If I can find out, I'll send mine back to the relatives who live there so they can be used.
I loved how friendly and accommodating the staff was. They were welcoming of me and my two young children (and dog). The rooms could be cleaner. The carpet was stained and it made my infant dirty when he crawled. The tub wouldn't drain properly, so we got to shower in standing water. Also, there was used soap left in the shower, along with shampoo and conditioner. One of the main reasons I picked the Sheraton was because they have cribs available. They did not. My infant had to sleep on the floor on some blankets. I couldn't have both my kids in bed with me, as I only had a queen.
It had a fairly nice bathroom, nice shower. Bed/mattress pretty firm which I like. Decent sized flat screen TV. Pool a little too small and not deep enough. Hot tub ok, but couldn't get the jets to come on. Wife had some back/hip pain after sleeping on mattress.
Nothing Place is a total shit stack. It would be better suited to have the facility pushed over and have a modern version built.
Nothing Very unattentive front desk. Asked for suggestions for dining in the area and got blank stares. Called front desk about fighting in the hallway at 2am and the yelling and screaming continued for over an hour.
Loved that the hotel was situated where old town and st Claire winery were walking distance easy to get around to places. Hotel rooms were clean and beds were comfortable Didn't like that happy hours was unavailable on weekends and no breakfast was included with room stay
View was great. Turned out that Friday night was a party night for a room near us. Loud and drunk young folks. Had to call security and police to get them under control. Room was not really cleaned each day, just a few things done. Chairs not comfortable, not enough electric outlets. No extra blankets in the room. Bed not comfortable.
I absolutely loved the style of the hotel. The room and view were stunning! The staff were professional and everything was spotless. The attention to detail was much appreciated. the extra touches such as the Old Town Walkin tour and the cookies at check in we're fabulous. The gym wasn't functioning as it was being refurbished. Also the food in the on site restaurant was very spicy hot....hot...hot, and should have come with a warning. The food was delicious if you can handle the heat!
Very friendly staff. Pool area was well maintained and covered by Aaron. The restaurant was a big surprise - usually do not expect hotels to serve food as good as we got there. Nothing - perfect for a guys weekend.
Employees were really nice and helpful.
Staff was very professional and kind. There is a nice pool and a patio. Overall very pleasant. Rooms are standard.
Lobby Old bathroom
My room was comfortable, the restaurant and reception staff were very friendly. Great location near old town. Free parking I was disappointed that they didn't have the fireplace going in the big hall to make it a bit cozy.
We were physically assaulted by the security guards on staff at the hotel. Never in my life have I witnessed something like this. Yes we were noisy which led to complaints... but it was for a party we told the staff a month before , and it was only loud because there were 20+ people all in one room since the staff DID NOT PUT ALL OUR ROOMS on one floor like we requested mknths before, several times, to avoid just this. Instead they put us by other guests and mixed our rooms up. This would have avoided other guests hearing us and being upset. Security came and physically attacked two of our guests for arguing with them about the policy as they seemed very aggressive. We were all shocked. Needless to say there is a nice lawsuit ensuing against this hotel. Happy visit!
The location was perfect. It was within walking distance of the old town shops and restaurants. The pool was very nice and all of the indoor and outdoor decor was beatiful. The room and bathroom were surprisingly larger than expected. The staff were very helpful and accomdating There was construction going on right next to the hotel that was fairly loud and started relatively early that woke me up.
The only great thing about our stay was the older gentlemen at the valet. He over exceeded the customer service expectations. More of your staff members should follow his example. The beds were awful. You might as well put sheets over a pallet of springs. For the amount of money people pay I think the hotel can afford better mattresses. Our faucet in our room has a horrible leak. You might want to tell housekeeping to do a deep clean on the furniture it's a tad dirty. As for the front desk rule of thumb don't let your guest stand around for 15 minutes because you failed to notify valet. 2 seconds on the radio and your done. But seriously almost 30 minutes waiting all together to retrieve a phone charger from the car is a little ridiculous all that was, was a lack of communication. ***** 5 stars to the older gentlemen in valet***** He is a true employee and if you don't notice that as management you lack as well in training and bringing the expectations needed for great guest services.... I hope you tell him to.... The mattresses Poor guest services (Front Desk)
The food was way to expensive and hard to place an order for room service
The staff was very knowledgeable about the area and had some great recommendations for places walking distance for meals. Parking is extra, and it wasn't apparent in the booking or when I checked in and they gave me the pass to get in/out of the garage.
the hotel was a bit old but had that awesome clean towel bar soap smell Starbucks is right there And you can go to the restaurant in the lobby and still get authentic NM food. The staff is incredible fun folks who make you feel like a friend. One of them even did an impression for me, HILARIOUS love it, A++++++ would buy again Nothing notable They even brought me a flat iron and hairbrush
The bed was so comfortable, the room was clean, there's a Starbucks in the hotel. Nothing
Friendly convenient and affordable.
The staff was great and courteous, very clean. My new go-to hotel when in Albuquerque .
Loved the staff and their attentiveness. Surprised they charge for wifi, breakfast, and all that jazz.
access to airport.
From my check in, to the bell hops and shuttle driver, to house keeping, the staff we extremely helpful and went out of there way to make my stay amazing. The female bartender also remember what I drank the 2nd night I was around right before my flight. I was on the side of the building closest to the airport and I didn't really hear a thing. The bell hop told me what buses to take to visit old town and gave me a pamphlet with a map to help me, this was even when he was off the clock by 1pm and on his way out the door to catch his own bus. So thoughtful and totally made the experience for me. They let me check my bags once I checked out so that I could explore the city before my flight. The location is amazing, a bus stop right out the door and a shuttle (or walking distance) to the airport you can't beat it. All in all super professional and welcoming! Out of all the staff there was only one person I had a not so great interaction with, the male bartender Sunday night was a little snooty. There was no bathrobe or something to stir the coffee with the coffee maker in the room. I am a SPG member but still had to pay for wifi. The wifi is more expensive then anywhere in the world I have stayed, including trans-Atlantic flights. It's not worth the price, it's slow and drops a lot.
Very clean, nice room. Amenities were perfect for a single night. Staff was awesome. Highest rating for an overnight near the airport. Don't expect the royal bar... it's pretty basic, but probably perfect for the location and traffic.
The SPG club lounge was nice. Offered fresh fruit and drinks any time of the day. Location was easy to navigate around. Our hotel room was booked 3 weeks in advance. When we arrived we were told that the room style we had book had been all sold out. We were then told we were being "upgraded." The new room we had was a smaller room with two queen beds instead of one king. The only upgrade to the room was were on the 15th floor in the Starwood Preferred Guest rooms. But the room smelled like cigarettes the entire stay. There was a paper posted outside of the elevator on. FBle against the wall saying there have been complaints of the floor smelling of cigarette smoke & reminding everyone that this hotel was completely non-smoking. But other than that nothing was done to rid the floor of the terrible smell.
The shuttle service was great. I reserved a king bed room and they didn't have any. There was a dog outside the hotel barking all night. The operator gave me innaccurate information on the shuttle schedule between the rental car center and the hotel.
Room are up to date and clean
The room was clean and big. They allowed our little dog at no additional cost. Bed was comfortable. The room faced the expressway and was very loud all night. I suggest you request a room on the other side of the building.
Beds and room were quite comfortable. This was a non-smoking building, but I could still smell cigarette smoke coming through the ventilation from another room. There are no signs about this being a non-smoking hotel except at the front desk. Staff did attempt to identify who was smoking.
All of the staff was very nice. no refrigerator in the room
Lobby decor Noisy people in room next door ..no enforcement of quiet hours....constantly running toilet in bathroom...no action taken upon notifying hotel staff
The staff was nice and the check-in process was easy. There was no breakfast offered and at the price, I really expect it. Also, the fact that flat sheets were used in place of fitted sheets and a proper duvet cover was slightly off putting. The sheet covering the mattress should be fitted to avoid the feeling of sleeping on an exposed mattress which happened often throughout the night. And the use of sheets instead of a duvet means that the actual bed spread was exposed and I'm certain those are not washed daily like the sheets. Also, there was mildew in the caulking on the tub. Makes for a feeling of un-cleanliness.
I thought the Hotel was just great, I loved everything about it. I would defintely stay at Nativo again. Everything was excellent about my stay even tthough I can't click on the dots.
Very nicely appointed and comfortable hotel with Aveda toiletries and a great restaurant. Convenient location right off of I-25..
the beds were very comfortable Beds were small for being double beds, bathroom was small shower was very close to door
The bed was very comfortable. The staff were not helpful. Asked for some pillows and said they didn't have extra, seems very unlikely. Also, they act like they were the only one at the hotel not willing to help. Basically, customer service needs great improvement.
This is a nice hotel, especially if you're looking for something last minute. It has everything you need. The pool and outdoor area is awesome, so if you're traveling with kids, they're going to love it. Teepee right by the pool, hotub, pool is half inside half outside. Super fun. The interior is decorated with great local art and it's handicap accessible. Room service is reasonably priced. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Really great stay. The crib it advertised on the website is actually a pack-n-play. That kind of sucked because there's no way to wash those, so who knows how many babies/toddlers have slept/pooped/peed/spit up in it. Bring your own of you're traveling with a small child.
The view of the mountains. The pool was clean. The jacuzzi was not working but the water was hot. There was a cockroach in my room and after trying to kill it twice i was successful and put it in a paper cup and brought it to the front desk. I told them what happened and they said they sprayed for bugs two weeks ago but they could spray the hallway again and my room. I asked them not to spray till we checked out in two more days. He agred and just looked at me with out offering to compensate us or offer us another room. We have stayed here before every time we come to Albuquerque for the past two years but will think about finding a new hotel to spend our heard earned money at.
Very interesting design and easy on/off I-25 The cleaning staff could do a better job cleaning the bathrooms.
The interior style was unusal and interesting. The towels were quite thick and the toiletry selection was good, Aveeda products. It was very dark and while in our hot climate ( I liive in NM A) it is a relief from the sun, after a while it seemed oppressive.
Good access to the areas of town I needed to go to.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was very good. The previous occupants in the room I was assigned to were smokers. When I walked into the room I immediately could smell smoke. I asked for another room and was given a room that smelled cleaner.
How comfy the bed was and the room and the staff was very very helpful and friendly:-) N/A
No clean The thermostat was broke
Great breakfast, good facilities Maintenance issue with room, outlets did not work, it was minor though
The included breakfast was excellent. My breakfast burrito was superb. Bathroom was worn out. Come on...can't you replace a worn out toilet seat?
everything was true to the description online. Delicious was breakfast and loved the $5 coupon. Location was right off the highway. Fitness facility was good enough. High-quality staff. The walls of the room were pretty thin. We could hear our neighbors and the cleaning staff in the morning.
Nice southwest theme. Interesting art - especially the local art behind the front desk, and even better, the explanation of it to the left of checkin. The complementary breakfast was generous, and the waitress/hostess was very nice and accommodating for my wife's special dietary needs. Keep up the good work! Mike Palatas The latch mechanism for the hand wand of the shower in the handicap room we stayed in (112) was broken - would not lock in position on the vertical slide bar.
Quiet room, comfy beds, smelled pleasant, staff friendly. Breakfast was good. Decorated nicely.
Located nr. Expressway, clean and comfortable. Located in the old part of Albuquerque.
The breakfast was excellent & served on real china not that awful plastic or styrofoam stuff...the eggs were the real deal...not the pretend kind from the lsst BW we stayed at. Staff was lovely A little dark and gloomy in the halls but well maintained
I liked the location and the friendly staff. I didn't like the bed, the fickle air conditioning which worked part of the time, the small bathroom, the hidden blackout curtains, the street lamp outside my window, the baby and intrusive neighbors on the other side of my door and the toilet paper. I also didn't like sleeping until noon the first day because we had no idea there were blackout curtains until the front desk informed us the following morning. I had forgot the toilet paper I had bought since they had the cheaper brand and also my watch because I didn't sleep well the following night due to the air conditioning not working correctly and the weird noises it was making. I had enough and got up and left very early the second morning. It was a brutal 12 hour drive that day with very little sleep. Thankfully there were two of us so one of us could sleep in the car while the other drove.
Staff was very helpful and accommodating, even after the website we booked through (getaroom.com), completely messed up our reservation! Breakfast was great. My only complaint was that the beds were way to soft!
The bar was comfortable and the cocktails were good. My room was very comfortable, clean, and the bed was great. The housekeeping staff were friendly. The front desk was superb. I love the airport shuttle service. I didn't like the location. The property was located on a very busy street and the walk to Old Town wasn't pleasant. Twice i had breakfast at the hotel and twice i was brought the wrong item.
Excellent breakfast and value. Elevators too small for luggage carts
Overall, we had a very nice experience. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the breakfast was delicious. That's the most I look for in a hotel, especially since we stayed for one night during a cross country road trip. It was a wonderful change from sleeping in our car at a rest area. The only downsides were honestly very minimal, considering we stayed for only one night. I found a small roach in the bathroom that I had to dispose of, and the internet connection was very spotty and, for the most part, nonexistent.
It's comfortable, the staff is friendly, the price and location are great.
Leaving TV was not working, safe in closet was pulled from the wall because they used improper fasteners. Tile missing in bathroom, lack of security as was demonstrated when I placed two calls to the front desk because of running and screaming children in the hallway at 10:30 at night. Very noisy machines in the vending area on my floor. This hotel is run on the cheap!
They gave us a suit which was an upgrade. Beautiful room. very clean and quite. We just went over night to catch an early flight and the toilet wasn't working in the AM so that put a damper on our morning. We told them at the front desk hopefully they fixed it for the next person.
Close to airport and auto rental checkin Rooms need a refresh. Wall paper was stained and raveling. Doors did not open all the way, they rubbed on tile and carpet flooring. It seems doors are out of plumb.
Food is in close proximity The beds are uncomfortable the fire alarm beeped all night the shower got water everywhere and there was swat team kicking someone out of the hotel when I arrived
Quiet, fairly comfortable. By the airport, but easy drive to get to downtown restaurants. We arrived early and exhausted, and staff was kind enough to allow early check-in. Given the rate we paid, we were happy with everything.
Nice room, nice staff, nice facilities Breakfast cost, but wasn't expensive.
It was quiet! Even near the airport I didn't hear anything. The heater in the room took awhile to start.
The lobby was nice and the view from our room was great! Our room was very won out. There was mildew/mold in the broken and missing caulking of the shower. The showerhead was caked with grime and sprayed all over the place. Our towel bar was missing the bar (the support arms were all that was left and one of those was hanging off the wall and loose). We could hear people running and stomping overhead all night. Their photos online show the basic "hotel breakfast" but this is an additional $12 per person. When we tried to leave we found that due to poor parking lot design we were blocked into our spot. While the hotel staff pretended to figure out who the blocking car belonged to (waited some ten minutes) one of our group managed to extricate our car by driving up onto and over a curb.
The restaurant Courteous staff Nice rooms Hated leaving
Check in was easy, facility looked clean upon arrival. Asked what time breakfast would be served in morning, was told 630. Staff didn't start setting up breakfast until 630, and as my family and I had to checkout to continue our trip there was no food or beverages out. Very disappointed.
Room was neat and clean. Bed and pillows were great. Trying to reach the front desk. Took three calls to get an answer. Once someone answered the phone, they were very courteous.
I arrived at the hotel to find out that in Expedias usual fashion, they didn't actually push the reservation through to the hotel but had charged my card anyway. And I knew the hotel wasn't making it up, because the reservation disappeared from my Expedia app as well. To keep a long story short, the manager at the front desk named Michael got everything taken care of for me and then some. Went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and got the room I wanted. Made sure it was away from other booked rooms because he felt bad for the trouble I went through with my reservation and wanted me to be able to relax, and gave me a few other things to make sure I was happy with my stay once everything was fixed. My room was spacious, bed super comfortable, hotel had tons of amenities and wasn't a bad price either. Definitely would stay here again, and I hope I encounter more managers such as Michael in future stays at other hotels. Light in the shower didn't work, I think the lightbulb was just burnt out. I personally thought it was a very trivial issue and didn't find it necessary to complain about it, it was just a slightly darker shower lol.
Our room smelled like cigarettes and it was very very noisy. The price of the room did not reflect the socioeconomic status of other occupants.
It wasn't the best place we've stayed. You can hear everything. The conditioning unit burned. It was kind of dirty.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with any of our questions. The lobby was clean and we were pleasantly surprised with how homey and clean our room was. Great value for what we paid for. We were really comfortable and happy with our stay. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about this hotel.
The hostess and workers were really friendly Not use to the bed but was still comfortable
Excellent staff. Breakfast was a bit skimpy.
The staff was friendly during the day and late afternoon. The shower had extremely low water pressure.
The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Easy access to the airport. Comfortable.
Everything was homey, clean and nice. This is my 2nd stay with Shirley. She owns the motel and is there pretty much all the time. She really tries to please the guests. When I stayed there before we had a room on the 1st floor and this time we were on the 3rd floor.I'm thinking that this impacts the hot water because the water never got really hot on this stay.
The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.
What made our stay so great was the incredibly helpful, friendly and professional staff that worked there. We were really impressed with the service. This is a standard hotel in every way, but the service made it stand out for us. I think the facilities could be updated, but everything was clean and comfortable.
The staff was super friendly and helpful.
Nice amenities, room with microwave and fridge, indoor pool and hot tub, free continental breakfast, very friendly staff. They even let us use a pack n play for our 1 year old daughter. Highly recommended!
Unique experience. Nice breakfast. No, I was disappointed when it became medically necessary to spend 3 nights away from the city that I still could not cancel the reservations with Booking.com. Will read more carefully next time and not use such a service. The motel was happy to refund my money but could not as I had reserved with Booking.com
Being clean. Everything was fine.
Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were nice, good breakfast Small beds and had to go through the outside to get to the indoor pool
The front desk clerk was friendly, helpful and understanding. I booked my hotel in advance and realized a day too late I could stay with a friend. The policy would not allow me to cancel my reservation. I asked the front desk attendent when I got in at 10 pm if she could allow me a price deduction from the 75 dollars I had to pay and she couldn't because I booked it through this website. I left for the airport at 4 am and was only in the room for a couple hours. I was so disappointed and let down. That's a lot of money for only roughly six hours when I could've stayed with a friend for free. I won't book here or with this company if I do this again.
I enjoyed the comfort of the room as well as the quiet. The breakfast was adequate and the service from the staff was exceptional. You have to go outside to get to the swimming pool/sauna/workout room.
Great staff, clean room and an amazing breakfast that stayed open until 10 am for those late risers!
proximity to airport it felt a bit sketchy... the front door was locked at night and they asked for your name in order to be allowed to enter and check in but you can use the elevator to go whatever floor you want without the hotel card key...
It is a nice hotel, comfortable and has good quality breakfast The heating equipment is very noisy
The A/C-fan system was really nice and easy to program. Nice warm breakfast.
The motel was clean, simple, no nonsense. We selected it for its proximity to airport and for its price. It was a very comfortable room to arrive at late at night after a long flight. The breakfast in the morning exceed expectations with its inclusion of biscuits and gravy, as well as waffles, among the standard fare of cereal, toast and yogurt.
The stay was great everything about it was GREAT! The rooms where small but still I would stay again.
Management and staff went out of their way to help me get around when the rental car I reserved was not available
I loved the beds. They were so comfortable. We also enjoyed the deluxe breakfast, and the hot tub. The pool was freezing cold even though they said it was a heated indoor pool. The walls were very thin, so we could here the people next door to us.
I liked that the hotel was close to the airport. We stayed there because we had an early flight. The refrigerator was making a loud noise. I had to get up in the middle of the night to unplug it because the noise was keeping me awake.
Airport shuttle runs from 4:30 am to 11:00 pm so we did not need to arrange for a cab. They allow on-site Stay and Park and Fly for a small fee, which was waived this time since it is a new policy and we didn't know. Thanks, Ramada!. Helpful friendly staff. French roast coffee, recommended by the clerk, was delicious at 4:20 am waiting for the shuttle. Quiet and clean room. We have stayed here often and can see improvement and upgrades since it is under new ownership. We look forward to our next stay. My husband ran out of hot water while showering around 9 am on the second morning; luckily I showered before him and it was fine..
Van drivers and location and nice new cozy bed linen were all appreciated greatly. Sopping wet carpet discovered in stocking feet, filthy at that, toilet that didn't flush because the flapper valve was so old it was disintegrating, unmade roll-away bed left in room that I had to remove, raggedy bathroom linens, faucet that would not shut off--seals so bad I couldn't even get it down to a trickle--steady stream, entry door not square--I had to lean into it with my shoulder to get it open. This list is from the 2 rooms I tried. This place is in need of THOROUGH AND COMPLETE renovation, not just dressed-up bed linens and a couple pieces of new furniture.
After the stress of a canceled flight, this was a perfect place for me to relax. Location was a few minutes by car and a fifteen minute walk from the airport. Check-in was easy, and I was in my room in minutes after arriving. Staff was very friendly and kind. All things considered, deal was great and I'd stay again. The room was a little dirty.
Old, outdated, floors weren't clean (cereal on floor behind bed), beds were clean enough, but holes in blankets. AC worked well and it was quiet and close to airport for quick commute out in the morning. Breakfast was okay.
Very helpful staff; clean; convenient N/A
Staff was so friendly - rooms were fine - homemade waffles & chicken Tomale soup for breakfast !
I didn't like to be charged twice for the deposit. I got my money back the next day but it would have been nice to have that to do some shopping.
Our room smelled like animal pee. It was a "pet room" and it was obvious. I paid $10 extra so I could stay in a room that smelled like a dirty animal pound.
Staff very nice Stained bedding, dirty floors
Every staff person was a pleasure to talk with. Super breakfast. Loved the green chili stew. Lots of amenities and the TV clarity was a treat.
location near airport and Waffle House, clean room, comfortable temperature and bed. neighbors were noisy until late on a Saturday night
Friendly, comfortable and reasonably convient( by car) to all of ABQ. I would stay there again.
We had a great time at The Clubhouse Inn & Suites. Loved the hot breakfast and the afternoon happy hour w/ management.
The hotel was clean and staff friendly. The hotel is not located within walking distance of any restaurants and has no lunch or dinner services. The hotel provided a safe clean place to sleep but was otherwise unremarkable.
Hotel was quiet - we stayed on the west side away from the freeway. Breakfast was ample. Two free drinks at the bar were offered each night, but we did not have the opportunity to try them. Breakfast needed more healthy choices. More fresh fruits and yogurts, oatmeal, lower carb choices.
Excellent continental breakfast, friendly staff, and proximity from parks, zoo, etc Noisy, you heard when everyone closed their door on your floor. Not located in the central part of town.
The hotel was clean, quiet, and the beds were comfortable. The room was a nice size, as well, and the cleaning staff did a good job. It seemed a little expensive for what it was. If I were to go to ABQ again, I'd check around for some place a little bit cheaper.
The room was okay I used kayak to get this hotel and then after driving 12 hours to get there they couldn't find my reservation, even after showing them my confirmation email and where they charged my Amex card. I had to call kayak customer service. While on hold with kayak they finally found my reservation. What a hassle.
the nice room, the pool area and the breakfast and 2 free drinks.....all very nice.....no complaints from me. only that there is no elevator to the second floor.
