Renovated rooms; friendly staff. Rooms were nice with ardent walls. Bed is very comfortable. Nice and clean, updated room. Immaculately clean room, looks freshly renovated. Decent linens. Very poor front desk appearance and clerk. Hotel is in very poor condition. The bed was unclean. Hotel is rundown on outside. TV set did not work for both days. Very basic service. The ad included breakfast. Found out breakfasts meant coffee only. Dumpy looking exterior and lobby. Looks like a third world motel. Breakfast handed to you in a paper bag. They didn’t even have a kettle to boil me some hot water for a tea. Barren room decor ( no pictures , bedspread , pillows or any kind of colour. Everything thing in the motel was grey…( walls, trim, doors, furniture, floors, etc). No temperature setting, room felt like it was 15C when we entered. You could turn the AC on or off, there is no temperature control. Nothing. Cost, Booking fees, not priced as advertised. No breakfast for the price. Lobby and outside was under construction. The grounds and parking lot needed a lot of attention. Location and the shower door would not close. The promised breakfast left a lot to be desired. There was dog poo bags on the side of the building the entire length of my stay and building exterior was run down. To top it off the description said breakfast available. What we were given was a paper bag with a croissant in a ziplock bag. Drinking box and yogurt cup. Which I couldn’t eat due to dietary requirements. If I could have gone elsewhere I would have. But long weekend and too late to change. Im surprised that the can keep their franchise license. The price for what you get, it is no value. Plus much older than it appears online. You can neglect the breakfast included in the price. It was just a bag of snacks. The towels were rough. I didn't use them. Mould and mildew build-up on the walls and corners of the shower stall. Holes and stains in the bedding. Lack of comfortable chairs to sit on instead of the bed. TV wasn't set-up ready/properly so we didn't have access for two nights (not everyone is computer savvy). Room key cards needed to be reset on more than one occasion. Bagged breakfast was a mystery...there no true dining area for guests to enjoy a freshly prepared hot breakfast. We didn't like how every room smelled like Marijuana. We didn't like how dirty the hotel was or our rooms. Our sheets had stains on them. Even after moving rooms. First room blanket looked like it had blood stains. I was not pleased to have brought my family there.Rooms were cold and floors were cold. No carpets. Old and tired building. Swipe card not working at alternative entrances. 2nd floor makes it hard for unloading/reloading vehicle - request a ground floor/drive up room. Complimentary breakfast was “bagged”, take it and go ! Air conditioner unit was noisy - even though it’s new. Outside and lobby has absolutely nothing to indicate this is a welcoming hotel. Lobby doesn’t even have a single chair or sofa, while we wait for our room to be ready, which wasn’t ready by checkin time indicated. Very plain Boring. Shower has nothing to hold on to, bottom of the shower was slippery. Fridge didn’t work was warm. Everything - not worth the price. The only reason not to return again is the breakfast. Not to take this option is better. Very noisy neighborhood/ not many places to take the dog for a walk. The place is rundown and filthy. Parts of the building need renovation and updating.
