Cons: "Checking in was a disaster. Took a long time. Lady wasn’t sure if we were going to embark as my son has two surnames. Ticket was matching middle and last name. She had to consult her superior that in front of us sayid it would be ok. Even after that She was challenging him. At the end it was all good. She had a very bad attitude."

Cons: "It was an average flight ... nothing to complain about !"

Pros: "The crew was ok, very uncomfortable seat, I had an isle seat and everyone bumped into my shoulder. I never had to pay for checked baggage in a transatlantic flight, it’s not my first time flying. I was also asked to check my carry on, to what I declined for personal reasons."

Cons: "It would be better if the checked-in luggage is included everytime we book our flight via air canada so it will be hustle free for all the passengers."

Pros: "Took a red eye, so slept most of the way. Crew was super chill and let me sleep the whole way. Minor turbulence, but the captain made announcements and made sure everyone felt at ease. Quick to unload passengers once we arrived at the gate. Didn't use the in-flight entertainment but there was a cool and updated map feature that was much better and more high-tech than previous AC flights I have taken. Also enjoyed how the cabin door separated economy from business class, so we didn't have to wait for the entire front of the plane to unload from the same door."
Cons: "Baggage claim took FOREVER. Air Canada needs to work on this. Waited over 1 hour."

Cons: "poor entertainment choices. Reading lights didn't work. I traveled with my wife, we were unable to read because reading lights didn't work."

Pros: "the asian guy steward was the best he made my 12 year old happy by providing the pizza and food that she ordered perfect its just the professional way he serve it was exceptional a kind word"

Cons: "Major delays due to poor maintenance. Maintenance is done with passengers on board. No issues with inconveniencing passengers. If you call to complain and ask for compensation, I’ll hey tell you to submit an email and they will respond 3-5 weeks or longer. Will never fly Air Canada again. Will tell everyone on my social media how awful this airline is to customers."

Pros: "The overall performance and teamwork of Air Canada from check-in to landing was the best experience ever with Air Canada. AC has always been my first carrier choice for travelling, and this was the best service in flying the sky with AC."
Cons: "I find that the previous location for Air Canada for checking in at LAX for departure and arrivals was quiker and easier(stop and go)."

Cons: "For business class the accommodation was appalling. The seat would not even recline more than a couple of inches, let alone lay flat which is what one is paying for. The touch screen entertainment did not work. The flight arrived too late to make connections - again. The boarding agent at the gate in Los Angeles was one of the rudest and most arrogant men I have ever encountered. I complained to the plane's Captain about him, as he was going through. All the business class passengers around me were commenting on it. One was even filming his egregious behaviour for Facebook. He alone was enough to put one off Air Canada ."

Cons: "Someone was in my seat (and feigning sleep). Not a big problem, I just sat in another seat, but kind of uncool. Cabin crew were never aware, which is odd"

Cons: "Didn't like the fact that food was not included in the airfare on a long flight (I think it was over 5 hours). This inconsistency between airline policies is very annoying - you never know if you can take food on-board, if you should take food along or how much you should expect to be ripped off at the terminal/on-flight. The entertainment unit stalled the entire time. Oh, and boarding... it's very odd to check-in at the domestic terminal at LAX for an international flight and I don't recall seeing any message in my email/SMS regarding this. So taxi dropped me off at the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX and then I had to run over 4 terminals to get the Air Canada. A precaution about this would be nice."

Pros: "Flew economy from Los Angeles to Vancouver. Aircraft looked like a newer Airbus A320 with the new Air Canada branding (black lettering against white fuselage). Air Canada check in process has passengers use self service kiosks first and then take the tags and luggage to the counter. The employees at check in were all very efficient and made sure the line didn't get too long. The flight left on time. Every seat had personal entertainment system, and mine worked great. The flight attendants themselves were very professional."
Cons: "The in flight magazine was water damaged and somewhat soiled (probably from prior passenger's drink). I wish the on ground cleaning crew would take the time to inspect the seat back pockets."

Pros: "I liked the friendly crew members"
Cons: "1. Could not reserve seat on the return flight and still got charged for it. 2. My seat did not have the new outlet for phone jack and USB charger. I had to use old headset outlet on the arm-rest which did not work. 3. Planes delayed on both directions."

Cons: "Employees seemed somewhat disorganized. There was not enough space in front of counter for people and there luggage. I ticketing agent would yell from far down the counter "Next...Next!) and finally walk closer so people in line could see/hear them. Then, often that next customer could not get to the counter in front of the agent because of the pillars and other people were blocking them. The space was too cramped. At boarding, Instructions over the loudspeaker were not clear and the video screens contained incorrect information about boarding. At one point the agent came out and yelled at everyone to "get out of line!, we are not boarding yet". I have never seen this process handled so poorly and I fly quite a bit."

Cons: "Baggage hasn't arrived after 45 minutes"

Pros: "Our flight was delayed from lax but we just made the connection to Delhi but our luggage did not arrive with us and was delayed for two days . It was however delivered to our home base in Delhi."

Cons: "My experience with red-eye flights is that the lights go off, the crew disappears and everyone tries desperately to get some sleep. Not so with these guys - lights on and crew regularly pushing the drinks cart down the aisle. And a lack of free snacks as well (not even pretzels??)."

Cons: "No food on a 5 hour flight. Carina the flight attendant was the biggest rudest bitchiest women my friend, the people around us and myself have ever met. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!"

Pros: "It is hard to like a trip when t h email outbound flight is delayed by 3 hours. Why didn't SC text us to let us know before we left for the airport. I had to find out from flight aware. It still is an insult that we have to pay for even the 1st bag placed in the hold. Also resented having to pay for soft drinks. Almost all the passengers refused the 2nd attempt by crew to offer paid soft drinks."

Cons: "I paid extra to get into the economy plus (or whatever they call it), because when I was completing the ticked purchase online I was presented with a prompt to upgrade, The prompt said that alcoholic beverages were included, as well as a meal or snack from the menu. As is it turns out, that is only offered on certain aircraft. I call that false advertising, and I should get a refund for the upgrade fee i paid!"

Cons: "Aircraft was late. At least two gate changes in LA. Flight crew did not take away trash, just told us to stick in seat pockets. Entertainment system was down much of flight."

Pros: "Excellent flight from boarding to arrival. The flight crew performed beyond expectation. There were obvious obstacles in their way when performing their duties and customer service. What stood out as stellar was their patience in helping people where english was not their first language. When serving beverages to these passengers the flight attendants would ask what beverage they prefered. Their answers were inaudible and confusing. Attendants displayed container beverage and when it was still unable to understand their poor answers they did not give up. Finally it was understood they would like hot tea, and i noticed they performmed beyond expectation. These asian passengers would clogg the isles for attendants by going to the washroom and visiting other friends on this flight creating serving obstacles. Frankly, I prayed for the attendants when they were climbing over seated passengers and appeared orientationally lost from their seats on this flight. You would think it was their first flight; but then the flight attendant would appear, and in classic manner would ask - Can I help you? I am comforted by the displayed patience, ability to take punishment from disfunctional riders who failed to notice how other passengers behaved and how professionally the crew operated from beginning to end. I always prefer to fly with Air Canada. Thank you!"
Cons: "Jamming the middle seats of the flight with late arriving asian passengers who would have been better off seated together."

Cons: "1. Boarding arrangement was very poor. 2. No zone number on our boarding passes. Although we were seated in seats 22,23, we were automatically pushed to zone 5 and forced to board last. 3. My wife and I were assigned two middle seats in two separate rows. 4. We were forced to check in our cabin baggage saying that there was lack of overhead space, but when we boarded among last passengers, there were a number of empty overhead bins. We could easily have saved 45 minutes in Toronto airport without having to wait for our bags."

Cons: "I was at the gate to board and the supervisor Gabriel refused me boarding because I checked in late and he was mad. This was the last flight of the day and left with empty seats on it. I'm very disappointed"

Upon boarding, I sat patiently as I waited for my boarding group (3) to be called. Once my group was called up, i waited in line next to board while to the right of the line therw was an inpatient mob of group 4's & 5's eagerly waiting to board. The announcement of group 4 and 5 boarding sent the mob into a frenzy and they shoved their way in front of all of us group 3's knocking me down. The Air Canada staff did not assist nor did they do anything to regulate groups and ensure everyone's safety. I have never been more disappointed in an airline. Im fine now in case anyone cares."

Cons: "Not much to like on this flight except the food. However, it's airplane food so it's expected to be not so good anyway."

Cons: "The outcome was not. They would not allow me to board the plane b/c I didn't have a valid passport. I grew up in Canada & over the years have crossed the border in both directions & never needed a passport. Could you be more diligent in letting people know this."

Cons: "It is unacceptable for a big airline company not to include any complimentary meal for a five hour flight. Even low coast companies include the meals. First time I see that."

Cons: "A very obese man sat on my side and took half of my seat. The crew ignored me till we were on the air. They were very unprofessional. They found a seat for me. I approached them and told them that I was willing to pay half of a business seat, just let me go. The crew was unwilling and threanned me by returning the plane before it took off. I was not treated with respect. Next Tuesday I will fly back to Los Angeles with air Canada. I am sorry but this experience has taught me to fly no more with your company. Rabbi Moises Benzaquen"

Pros: "The crew was doing the best they could and was professional."
Cons: "Where to start, I have taken Air Canada 1 time before to Regina and you lost my luggage, luckily it was on the flight home. This time check in was very disorganized and unprofessional (I got scolded when my luggage bumped the post that forms the line that was set up after half the passengers were there making the last to show up first in line.) The flight was delayed and hour for a broken air mask upon departure . The monitor screens were hard to see and harder to hear. Upon arrival we sat for 30 minutes because they couldn't shut the engines down. Customs was a breeze but the walk from terminal to customize to the next terminal had me winded, luckily my connecting Air Canada flight was late also . And this was the better part of my experience. My flight to Athens was miserable ( lots of screaming children spread out through the plane). And when I thought it was over my luggage was separated and lost for 3 days. I should send you the underwear as a reminder of my experience"

Cons: "Our flight was delayed over an hour and no food was served - only snacks you could buy."

Cons: "-They wanted to check my bag at the gate, so I let them, and they lost it, for two and a half days, all the while being rather smug to me about it, saying things like "what do you want me to do about it." -On a 6 hour international flight starting at 9:45AM and landing at 6PM they did not offer us even a pretzel or peanut. This flight definitely spans lunch hours, but they insist you pay for even the smallest snack. -Customer service has been repeatedly short with me (I have had other incidents with lost luggage). They act like whatever happened could not have been avoided, and that you should know your place as a traveller. The idea of the customer being right is totally lost on them. CONCLUSION: they simply don't care. This airline was a monopoly for years, and it shows in their daily operations. They are ineffective, and entitled, and I will go far out of my way not to deal with them again."

Cons: "We had to sit on a bus and wait 30 minutes to be taken to a different gate. The seats aren't comfortable and like most the seating is cramped with little space. Flight attendant was rude after I refused to take an aisle seat from my window seat."

So I could not get on my booking flight and had to wait for them to arrange new flight from another air company, to check in it and board for more than 5 hours in the airport!"
