no privacy in the shower, washbasin in the room, no fridge, too much noise from outside during the night, poor wireless connection

Convenient access when arriving by car. Underground parking garage on site. Nice breakfast. Walking distance to old town. Uncomfortable beds with cheap bedding. (some kind of polyester?) Our room was facing the Lendplatz, and it was very disturbing during the night.

wi-fi connection, room size and hotel location The breakfast was too expansive and poor. The only phone call we made from the room, was a local phone call and it came out 11 euros for 4 minutes. I find that very expansive.

Really Quiet. Didn't hear a sound all night. The rooms are very spacious. Air Con appears to be turned off in the winter - just blows out air - but one can open the windows wide if necessary (in my room anyway).

The location was good, just a few minutes from the Altstadt. Breakfast was ok, although a bit overcrowded (including the staff)! We had a double room and a single one. The double was quite large and confortable. The main building has no wireless connection to the internet, although they say that the wi-fi is everywhere in the hotel. The single rooms are a bit old and they look like they really need some much welcomed refurbishment. The biggest issue i had with this hotel was the noise made by the cleaning crew!! At 7 in the morning they started to do the cleaning! It was unbareble!

Perfect location and the room was very comfortable and quiet. Easy walk into the town. Although the Dining Room had a strong jugendstil feel, and hotel rooms had a slight air of the period, the entrance hall and the more cafe room at the front had no period feel at all and detracted from the hotel's advertised script.

Convenience of hotel location to city centre, excellent breakfast service with friendly and attentive staff. Receptionists very friendly and helpful. Did not appreciate the barman using his hands to place ice in the glass. The Speisesaal restaurant menu choice was poor which was more akin to a cafe/bistro. No consistency in the volume of alcohol in a 'measure'. Room very good but foam mattresses and soft pillows did not always result in a good nights sleep.

I very much enjoyed the morning breakfast buffet although it is a little bit on the pricey side.

excellent breakfast, good location to walk the city The reception closes very early, and never seems to be available. When you ask questions, they are very uninterested for a 4 star hotel. I also did not find the rooms reflected the brochures whatsoever. It is not a design hotel, and the rooms resemble a bed and breakfast by canadian standards. Save your money and go elsewhere
