this hotel could be maximum 1 star not more locatione very good and nothing more
bulding, service, staff, rooms and price too much expensive for this hotel
price, pool, location, peacocks
tipical "comunist-era" building, not very young tourists
The hotel was easy to find and the hotel staff very friendly. We enjoyed our stay, in the very clean and tidy rooms./ THe breakfast was fine, although the coffee was awful.
Loved the 60s/70s original lighting in the reception area - honestly, very very stylish. I took loads of photos of these. The reception staff were very helpful and fluent in English which is of course fantastic seeing as though this is not their native tongue. The peacock park in the centre of the hotel complex is inspired - yet another thing I will never forget. Also excellent little beach just next to the hotel.
The little frankfurters for breakfast, but, to be honest, there was that much choice I could easily stay well shot of them. Twin beds in a double room not particularly romantic.
The swimming pool is big and with a nice sea view
I just spent one night but the impression I had was of a crowded hotel with some old eastern fashion without recent renewals. Tiny room and small bathroom. Old popular music played in the swimming pool, so if you get a front-sea room might hear the sound from your balcony. Balcony of each room are separated by a glass wall, you can easily take a look to your neighbor room and vice versa.
it is near a nice beach, beautiful scenery.
there is no air conditioning, which in the middle of summer, is not acceptable in this day and age. there is not even a fan. the town of starigrad is a good 20-25 minute walk away from hotel. for the price payed for this hotel compared with others in croatia, it does not match up, and in our opinion is not value for money.
breakfast was ok.
I had a horrible experience with this hotel for mainly two reasons. First, it is quite clear when one sees the hotel that the physical facilities (rooms, buildings) have not been renovated since it was built. The rooms were particularly disappointing (and depressing when one goes there for vacation). Even worse were the receptionists who lied to me twice to charge me more than my internet rate.
