Close to Airport
No shuttle at night; Breakfast not included; outside (motel) doors; Could hear highway traffic; Restaurant opened 15 minutes late;
We had a room on the top floor. The front desk staff was friendly, the room was a good size. Only 10 minutes to get to the straz center downtown.
We woke up to people yelling down the hall to each other and a woman using very foul language. I acknowledge this isn't the hotels fault, but if I stayed again I would ask for s room far away from the elevator. The walls are pretty thin to the outside so you could clearly hear other people's conversations as they walked by our room.
The check in process was very slow and not very friendly. I did not know the hotel was garden style, appearing to be more of a motel. The room was very dank, both double beds visibly sank in the middle of the mattress. The bathroom was clean, but the molding in the bathroom was either not complete, or not cut or installed correctly. The hotel was extremely noisy, with a lot of activity (fighting) in the late night/early morning.
With clean room....large bed....close to testing center of my daughter.....
Clean room, close to Airport
No hot water when we stayed (maintenance problem - but still a problem for us), no complimentary breakfast - not even coffee.
room was clean and comfortable.
Funky odor in the lobby.
I was very impressed as I long ago swore not to ever stay at a Ramada ever again because they were in such poor condition. My son and family made their reservation at this Ramada and we followed suit...to say the least we were totally surprised and very happy with our stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the pool and our beds were so comfy...everything was very clean. Happy customer!
Quiet comfortable room. Courteous staff.
Cleaning residue (whitish)? on bathroom floor and carpet strip nails along the entrances (bathroom & entry) door are not tacked down so you feel them rather painfully when walking barefoot.
Nothing, the staff was unhelpful, vending machines were all out of water. The room was disgusting, the floors were filthy.

Check in through Kayak helped things to go smoothly. I had a very nice room.
Helpful, friendly staff. Pool was shamrock shaped and comfy temp. About 1 mile from International Plaza, @:19 min.from downtown, driving. Easy 2-3 miles to airport rental car return.
It's a little dated. Don't know how it compares to others in the same area pricewise.
Gad a great stay, thanks, I especially liked the Indian restaurant in the lobby.
Hotel was dirty and run down. Rated 3 star on your website...not even close. 2 star tops. Could have stayed at a much better hotel for same price.
Just about everything. Requested quiet room with extra towels. After requesting these minimal things we did not get to check in until 2am and the room was right outside the cooling tower and now additional towels. The hotel acknowledged the late check in and our request via email prior to arrival and set us up with the worst possible location. Why bother Ramada asking for preferred accommodations and email us back telling us you've acknowledged our request and set us up so poorly. Shame on your chain!
The staff was friendly. The entrance looks nice and somewhat fancy. The room looked nice and it was comfortable. The hotel is located in a safe area of town. A gentleman's club is next door. A convenience store and a rental car place are also within walking distance. For the price I paid, I would stay here again.
One set of elevators was out of service, but things happen. I won't hold it against the hotel though. From the front, the hotel looks enclosed, but it is actually an open hotel. The walkways to the rooms look old and dirty.
Location was fine
Dirty. Didn't look as if the floors had been cleaned in a long time.
I Liked The Design Of The Room You Can Tell It Was Newly Remodeled.
When You Jump Off Elevator You Don't Know Where To Go. Walls Are Super Thin Can Hear EVERYTHING. CreepyHallways Made Hotel Look Cheap. The Cost Was Way Too Much Shouldn't Be More Than 50 Dollars. Reminds Of An Upscale Motel Looks Nothing Like Other Ramadas.
It's beat. The oold admiral benbow needs to be torn down
The Ramada is in the latter stages of a major renovation & upgrade. Workmanship is generally good, but the painters could use some training...
It has to have the worst lounge I've ever seen -- poor selection, watered drink.
Great location relative to shopping, airport, my business needs
Hotel is old, tire and dirty. Restaurant ragged and unappealing. Even renovated rooms seem old and tired. Would not book another stay here for my weekly trips to Tampa.
