The staff was difficult at the airport, we had to pickup are car at a different location(On Nebraska) and to get a Uber to that location. Once we got there.....The young lady was very helpful. Was concerned on drop off because we originally was to have a car from the airport but the young lady state we could drop off the car at 3909 hillsborough ave. Which was ok but we still were inconvenienced on a expense of getting a Uber.Cons:
Making sure that you have enough vehicles to rent to customers. All three locations next to enterprises did not have cars to rent to customers. Customers were pissed off and being turned away without any assistances.10.0 Wonderful

Enterprise accepted my reservation for a Sunday return to a location that is not open on Sundays. I walked to the Dropbox to find that “due to security issues” they do not accept drop offs after hours and if you drop the keys, you are liable for anything that happens to the vehicle. My flight out was before they opened on Monday. I spent 90 minutes on the phone trying to find someone who could tell me what to do and ultimately, no one had an answer for me. National chain submitted a ticket with the branch I was using in HOPES that they wouldn’t charge me if I returned the car to the airport the next day. Apparently the national brand has no way of contacting branch managers in instances like this and they also don’t have authority to waive fees on behalf of stores using their name. The entire experience was extremely inconvenient. Luckily I didn’t miss a flight because of it but as a young female renting a car alone, I did NOT appreciate sitting in a car in a bad part of town (bad enough for them to blame no drop offs on security issues) for 90 minutes. It has been 2 days since Sunday and I still have not received a call regarding my experience, though I’ve left multiple messages. I’ve had great experiences with Enterprise in the past but the lack of competence I experienced from the team this past weekend will cause me to take my business elsewhere going forward. I know mistakes happen but a large chain should have a much better internal communication system and plan for things like this. Very disappointing.2.0 Poor

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a car rental company. The associated who was to help us, didn't. He not only gave me information that was never shared ahead of time, but then when we pushed back he just said "Do you want the car or not". I have never been treated that way. We left and went to Alamo and received the best experience ever. We even were given a much cheaper price.Cons:

There was one agent working on a Saturday afternoon so the line took 1.5hrs to get to the rental counter. Once we got to the counter, the agent told us where to pick up our car and that someone would meet us there. The area he directed us to for our car was empty, no cars. When we finally tracked down what we thought was a clean car and someone to us it was another 25 minutes. While leaving the garage we realized the car was not clean at all. There was trash on the floor, sand on the inside of the doors and pieces of food all over. The check out person didn’t seem to care. As we left the rental car center and proceeded to get on the highway the car started shaking severely at 45 mph. I called Dollar to let them know about the cleanliness and the shaking. The first agent I spoke to told me to fill out something online about the cleanliness that didn’t exist. She then transferred me to someone else. I waited another hour on hold to explain the shaking issue primarily so I wouldn’t be responsible for the damage. No one ever answered. Everything about this could have been better.4.0 Mediocre

We also were told we could not add a spouse as an additional driver without an added fee. That was very annoying. We had made a reservation before our trip to rent a car, when we waited at the rental car counter desk for half an hour, there were only two agents on staff while fifty people waited to get served. When our turn was called, we gave the clerk our confirmation information they said they had no record of our car rental information, that we had already paid in advance for the rental, we had to reapply and start from scratch to fill out forms, this took another half hour while others had to wait longer, then there was only one agent because the other agent took a break, by this time we just wanted to get our car and get on with our business. Bottom line, we paid twice for the rental. No excuse for this to happen, we will never use Dollar again. We made this reservation on March 9 2021 and paid $ 117.00. # J 6951858720. Once we actually got to a staff member (after waiting in line for over an hour because the Payless, Avis, and Budget counters were all combined), he was very polite and helpful. The car was new and it was very nice. Drop off was an ease.Cons:
A warning at least would have been nice about the lack of staffing or the possible extended wait times. The fact that I set a pick up time and expected to go to the counter to get my car, but waited in line for over an hour instead was frustrating to say the least. Only reason I ended up at ACE is because they were the only one that had a car for the time period I needed a car. They the reps are super hard sell on all the up charges when just the base rental fee was high to begin with. Not sure I would call a Nissan Versa a mid-sized car, but that was the 'similar' sized car that I had to take. Would be the last choice again.8.0 Very good

I feel like the customer service person kept adding on extra and by the time I was done my bill was over $500 and when I booked it was around $250. She tried to add insurance until I caught that. Then told me there were tolls everywhere so then added on for tolls. I didn’t hit one toll booth. I just get money money back for tolls because it’s a scams. You would b able to tell if I hit a toll. I will not use this service only because the customer service was sneaky. I don’t like that and the toll booth is a scam.6.0 Okay

The pick up was horrible! I waited about an hour for in line to get the car. The kids were hungry and tired and I had to leave the line after waiting for an hour, get an Uber to my hotel, leave the kids at the hotel and get an Uber back to wait for another 45 minutes before I could get the paperwork for the car. I will never ever rent Fox rent a car again. Everyone who waited in line said the same thing. I have rented cars many times in the past however this was the worst experience ever.It is better to pay a little extra money but get a good service. Finally, when I got the car, It was not cleaned well at all!Cons:

I had a reservation for pickup at 6:00 pm. I got online at 5:50 and there were 19 people ahead of me with one person working the desk. I waited in line for 54 because they couldn’t be bothered to staff the desk properly. When I did get to the front the man at the desk was rude and talked to me like I was an idiot. Absolutely a loss of money. We arrived at Tampa airport. There was ONE attendant for FOX among 6 other companies. There were approximately 40 people waiting when we got there. The wait time for our car was SIX hours. We abandoned the car and rented at another service. Alot of lost money but spending 6 hours in a line for a car was completely unacceptable. Pick-up was a nightmare. Location: 4664 West Gandy Blvd. Suite 2, Tampa, FL 33611 This is a privately owned location and the proprietor IS running a racket. I was dropped off by a relative to pick up my vehicle. I observed the attendant telling the customers ahead of me that he was out of stock on the car they had booked and so they would have to upgrade to a different model vehicle. When it came to be my time, he tried the same thing, claiming he was out of the economy car that I had reserved online through the booking system. I told him I could not afford to upgrade, nor is it the customer's fault that he was out of the proper vehicles as he "claimed." I also saw a car outside that was the make and model which I was supposed to get, so he was obviously withholding. I called AVIS. They said I could try elsewhere and they'd reimburse me if the charge was less. I booked through Enterprise just in case. Little did I know Enterprise was a quarter of the mile down the road. The attendant at AVIS should have had the courtesy to tell me. Stranded, I waited. The attendant took his time with other customers. I WAITED 2.5 HOURS for him to give me the vehicle that was sitting in the front parking lot! I HAD TO ASK HIM WHO IT WAS FOR -- he said someone had prepaid and was supposed to pick it up before he closed at 2:00 p.m. It was a Saturday so he closed early. First of all, the customer who is present is always served, not some person who "might" show up. Also, I saw him scam a young couple who came in to pick up their reservation. He told them he was out of the car they had booked and they needed to upgrade! I nice additional 200 dollars or more. He should have comped the upgrade. The customer is NEVER penalized because the company runs out of cars (which was a lie). This service is terrible. Again, I witnessed the owner pull this scam on four different customers. He didn't want to give me the car because he knew I'd gotten a good deal and I was holding my ground. At one point he became condescending when I told him that I'd been waiting 2.5 hours and to wait on me instead of taking another customer. He ignored me! I then asked, "Why are you ignoring me?!" He then said, "You're the one who wouldn't upgrade!" I told him I shouldn't have to; that it wasn't ethical. I insisted I get the car that was waiting outside. He was not happy. He gave it to me completely dirty. It hadn't been vacuumed or sanitized. I took pictures. Send in a secret shopper to see what he is pulling. FYI: He loves to talk and comes across as friendly--it's an act! He needs to be reported because it is not fair to customers or AVIS/BUDGET.Cons:

When I went to the pick up location, spend $40.00 on Uber, who is going to compensate my inconvenience?, the location was closed. When I called the next day, the service rep told me that car was not available and hang up the phone. Will NEVER use your service in the future and posted the same response on all the social media. Then once we arrived we had to wait forever in a hot building where staff were milling about but no one was helping guests! it was going to take at least an hour and a 1/2 to get our car so we cancelled it and called an UberCons:

Which means if I would have been pulled over by law enforcement, for whatever reason, I’d have to had them my phone and unlock it for them since they emailed the agreement. Picked up at the airport in one of the rental cars instead of a shuttle bus, and got to talk to the driver about the company and procedure while going from the airport to the rental location nearby. I hadn't done an all electronic type of rental before. They made it easy. Once you got the app loaded it was easy enough. Nice clean new Audi A4. Also a drop off at the airport, upon return, in the car that you had rented, so you don't have to move your bags or ride in a bus back to the airport. Very convenient to get dropped right at the curb by your airline departure location. Great experience. Helpful people from end to end. I'd use them again.Cons:
Loading the app on my iphone was a bit of a pain. I couldn't get the pages on the app to scroll correctly so I could fill out the forms. I ultimately had to fill in the needed information to sign up via my laptop. Once I got through that it was easy. And with the app loaded I won't have to go through that again.One location in Tampa
