It takes only 15 minutes to get to the Venice.
Very poor soundproofing. You could hear the neighbors talking. Squeaky bed and leaking toilet.
There was a bed for all of us (in the end) and there was something to eat in the morning, so I guess that makes it a B&B...
I asked for a baby cod in December (stay in August) without response. I asked again some time before our trip, no answer. On arrival they told me they didn’t have one so that was why they didn’t answer... If I had known I would have searched for another place. In the end they provided a baby cod. Beds were not comfortable. Pillows were more like flat stones. While taking a shower you had to hold the shower head. We only got 2 towels (we were 3: me and 2 children). Breakfast was awful. You got a plate per person, but only a sweet pastry and some spreads (jam, honey and chocolate). Even my 8y-old didn’t like any of it. He would normally eat everything. The B&B is on the second floor. Only stairs. So if you have to carry many (heavy) suitcases and a stroller, it’s not practical.
Easy access to train station connected to Venice. Location of appartment in Mestre is perfect - and you can find everything very close. Parking is not free but you can find a blue line parking spaces or even parking houses for 6-7-8 Eur / 24h. We also used equiped kitchen to prepare own breakfast but do not count on cooking.
Room was clean- but could be repainted-and pls use just white color
It was in a scruffy side street. We almost missed it because there is only a door with a tiny sign to indicate this was actually the correct place. The door leads into a very tired looking lobby and staircase which services four other offices/businesses which all seemed empty and unkept. The B&B was on the top floor, no lift. To gain entrance you had to phone a number and wait till owner arrived. And when he did arrive he couldn't even raise a smile. No greeting of any kind. The place was furnished with scruffy furniture. The only positive was that it had aircon. We actually got this as a.. so called "offer". But actually it wasn't even worth the price we paid. Never ever again. Even our 7 year old child said it was horrible.
Just three minutes walk from the station.
The stairs from the entrance of the building to the entrance of B&B were very dark because the light sensor doesn’t work properly. The room was also dark and not good for the family use. We informed the arrival time in advance but no one was waiting for us at the building and made us wait for 10 mins. Less information about Venezia were there.
