Pros: Staff were great. My wife needed to see a doctor and the owner booked her in and made our life very easy. We are also traveling with a little girl and they set up a pretty place setting her for breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mrs. Engelhard welcomed us with great warmth and warmth. The garden suite was clean, very comfortable and well equipped. We were impressed that they thought of every detail that could please the hotel's guests. Going out to the well-kept garden was very enjoyable and we also loved sitting outside. The breakfast was delicious and overall very good, the staff services and courteous. The location is close to Nordlingen and we even got to spend a happy regional festival in the nearby village of Bopfingen on the recommendation of Mrs. Engelhard. In our opinion, this is a must-see for all travelers in the romantic way. Special thanks to Mrs. Manuela for the warm hospitality. We would definitely recommend Land Hotel Garni, had it not been for the early program, we would have been happy to stay for another night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best places we have ever stayed in. We felt there at home. Everything needed was in place. The spacious apartment has been comfortably furnished and everything looked as it was bought/made yesterday. Very clean and bright premises with all the facilities you can expect from a 4-star hotel. A big terrace, with a wonderful view to the green yard, and a small, but important for families with kids, playground. A first class service. Mrs Engelhard was so kind and helpful. We will go there again and again. Highly recommended!

We ended up eating in their very busy restaurant, the food was superb and great service. Included breakfast was was also very good.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We have received brand new rooms in the second building, one of them was clearly a free-upgrade. Great location in the center of the old city, but quite at night. We received a parking place in a garage in walking distance from the hotel, for a reasonable price. Air condition, bathroom, beds, ambience, tea&coffee in the room, breakfast, everything was good. We didn't try the restaurant, but it seemed also good as all the tables were occupied in the evening.
Cons: More options in the breakfast would be good (like sausages, Frischkäse, olives, more croissants).

Our kids loved having a room overlooking the street. Dinner was outstanding...possibly the best meal ever, for sure our best meal while traveling around Germany. Loved it!
Cons: There was no coffee for the in-room coffee maker, but that was not really a big deal because they brew a pot of fresh coffee for you at breakfast upon request.

Pros: Situated in a village only a few kms from Dinklesbuhl, it makes a great value for money alternative to staying in the city. Quiet, comfortable with hearty food. Cons: Nothing not to like.

Pros: Location in the country suited us for a transit through Germany from Prague to France. We knew little about the area but, when we arrived a little early, our host suggested a visit to Dinkelsbühl, about 6 km away. We spent a couple of hours there exploring the historic walled town. Dürrwangen also offered some interesting walking around town. We ate at the restaurant and had good food and service before a comfortable night in a well presented room.

Cons: When we called reception about the noise from upstairs room moving the furniture at 10pm we were told there is no reception till morning so basically if something goes wrong after business hour hotel can’t help you with anything which is a shame as it’s a really nice hotel
7.5 Good
Pros: Great central location
Cons: Staff were rude and unresponsive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The decoration was modern and to our taste
Cons: The Booking.com location was incorrect for the reception and needs to be changed . It directed you to the bedrooms which are in a separate building several streets away.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Modern and stylish rooms, friendly and English speaking staff, great location, very clean and organized. Special requests are warmly accepted.
Cons: It would be good to have a hotel WIFI, not over the city. One is disconnected each time you do not use the internet. Every few minutes one has to enter the email address again.

4.5 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff was rude, aggressive and incompetent. After a night's stay, In the morning at 08:30 I went to the hotel's ground floor cafe for breakfast, which was included in my stay. This is a huge cafe that can accommodate around 300 persons, indoors and outdoors. I was about to choose my table near a window when a waitress pointed out to a small room with no windows and some 6-7 tables, administrative desk and computer as the only option for my breakfast. The cafe at 08:30 was almost empty. Only 4-5 tables were occupied. She explained that I could seat alone only in that small room, because... all other tables for all 300 persons were reserved. Isn't this a lie? The hotel has only 11 rooms, so the guests could not have booked the whole cafe. I saw some guests occupying tables in the better areas. The waitress explained that they were guests that reserved those tables. I asked those guests and they were surprised: they did not reserve. So, I went to another cafe and had my breakfast. I returned to hotel at 09:00 and found that the cafe was still half empty. My preferred table was still empty. When I demanded explanation for this incompetent and unintelligent service, another waiter stated the same lie, i.e. that the whole 300 seats were reserved by some unknown guests, while the hotel had only 11 rooms. If this policy is upheld by the hotel's management, then the whole staff is incompetent and you need to avoid this hotel at any cost. If this were just two rude waiters imagining that they had some powers over a guest, then they must be disciplined. I doubt that there were 300 reservations at 08:30 in the morning, but even if this was true, the more polite way of handling the situation would be to ask how much time I needed for my breakfast and to inform me that the reservation of another person started at xx time. The way the waiters handled the situation was terribly rude and aggressive, right in the middle of the Romantische Strasse.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful, adorable room with a great view of the main street through Dinkelsbuhl. Clean, night bathroom with shower and magnifying mirror. Easy to walk anywhere around town and nice restaurant on site.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunningly beautiful hotel with 2 incredible indoor areas to dine and one outdoors. Centrally located and walked entire perimeter of town from this location. Met and exceeded my expectations. Look no further than this hotel. Overnight parking in front of hotel. Easy parking to find during the day around the corner for free.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding breakfast buffet, great location
Cons: A bit noisy in the early morning , if you sleep with an open window (deliveries...). Earplugs ....
7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel itself, The room was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Brilliant breakfast
Cons: No aircon. in searing temps, my worst night sleep ever. It was combined with evening noise as hotel on a busy street. A staff member told me that hotels in Dinkelbuhl are forbidden to have aircon due to cultural status.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our room was spacious, characterful and beautifully appointed. The hotel is located in the heart of the lovely medieval town.
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast and all meals were excellent. Lounge and dining facilities were well appointed and comfortable.
Cons: Too many stairs. More information should be given about the location of the rooms prior to booking. It was disappointing that there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room or on the floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast on the Sunday was very good, in quality/quantity/selection. The selection on the Monday was smaller, but same quality. The hotel is well situated in the centre of the town, very convenient for exploring.
Cons: Our room was up 5 flights of stairs, some quite uneven due to their age, they are listed too; because of that there is no lift. This is quite difficult for anyone having problems with hip/knee joints/feet or heart issues. The bathroom was quite small and might be a problem for anyone of a larger size. As most hotels of that type in Germany there are no tea/coffee making facilities , and no bottled water provided.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast really good. Perfect position. Nice atmosphere.
Cons: I think for the level of the hotel, and for the cost of the room, they should have better and more natural soap and shampoo.
