Nice and clean hotel Have to pay extra for breakfast!!!
Everything was perfect ! N-a
Spa pool on the roof
Sauna and hot tub
It's ok for being a Sheraton Suite, room was big. seriously, breakfast was very bad and very unhealthy, but well- what should i expect, it's USA, and it's Florida.
Very nice. Clean and spacious rooms. Loved the jacuzzi jet bath tub The bed was uncomfortable
Comfortable room, comfortable bed. Clean environment. Nice location also. If you sleep late, after a certain time you can't order breakfast anymore.
no food smells in hallways, very clean. An odor free hotel , very rare these days. Nice big suite rooms, friendly staff
We got a breakfast for free because we woke up at 4:30 am Construction area around the hotel
Pretty sure the housekeeping folded my clothes. That's weird. Didn't quite follow the card provided for green housekeeping. Hung towels still replaced. Would have been alright with them being left to reuse.
Excellent front desk service
All the staff was very friendly and they did anything to accommodate you. The manager on duty on 02/14 was excellent. When he was told about our inconveniences, he went out of his way and gave us a refund from our expenses and on top of that gave us free breakfast to go. Did not receive room service at all. Had to ask for towels every time.
Room was very clean and had a number of thoughtful touches. The staff was thoughtful and very caring. I have stayed at many high end hotel chains and the Rennaisance is exceptional for comfort and service. There is nothing I didn't like. I will be staying at the Rennaisance again.
Loved the look of the hotel. Very modern and beautiful. The toilet did not work upon arrival. Called twice to get it fixed, but did not get fixed. Had to go to first floor from 6th everytime toilet use was in need. Definitely not happy about that.
We made a very last minute booking when we missed our flight due to delays in the Florida Keys. We chose the Renaissance because it was close to the airport without being on top of it. We were welcomed like we were long anticipated guests and made to feel totally comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms clean and cozy. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others. There wasn't anything to dislike.
Nothing After having a prepaid hotel the lady at the reception didn't find the reservation and told us that we have to pay the night to get in, fortunately after 30 minutes she found it. They didn't clean the room during the complete day, when We arrived at night what a surprise... nobody had clean the room, it doen't look like a Hyatt.
Friendliness of front staff under difficult circumstances ... too many guests seeking attention from too few employees Saturday night = one staff plus assistant Sunday AM = one staff only Surely Hyatt can afford to up its staff .... lots of waiting by registered guests needing assistance as well as those checking in/out That said, the employees did the best the could! No kleenex No trash can in bathroom Older mattress No room to eat breakfast .. Short staffed Still ... a nice location and good value ... with attention to details, property could be outstanding
location breakfast first room I couldn't shut off the lights in the living room. they put me in another room (I arrived late night): -the street light was so bright it felt like it was daytime all night. - the room was freezing and the AC/fan kept going after I shut it off all night, loud too - I woke up to use the washroom and found the toilet bowl had dried blood in it. - the tub was so filthy i couldn't shower I complained about the state of the bathroom early morning after seeing all of this to the manager on duty. She huffed and said "I'll go take a look" I explained I was checked out and there's nothing she could do for me but maybe fix it before the next guest arrives. She disappeared, I sat in the lobby for about an hour and she never returned. She never apologized for my terrible stay. Nothing. When I asked why do I get such a terrible room at a four star, she corrected me and said "this is a three star". Seriously? If I wanted a filthy bathroom I would have stayed at a hostel. Don't waste your money.
Everything especially the Staff. Second to none Prices of drinks at JAlexanders
I arrived at the hotel early (about 10 am or so) so I wanted to see if I was lucky enough to get a room that is ready. It was busy (billing dispute) but not surprised, it wasn't ready. Scott took down my number and that they will give me a call as soon as the room is ready and that he will get housekeeping to start preparing my room immediately. They offered to hold my bags while I was waiting for the room and I accepted the offer. I decided to have breakfast after this and they called me right right after I finish, ironically.
Location to the convention center The lobby was extremely chaotic and loud. There is nothing near the hotel that gives you options for dining out as far as I could tell.
It was a great hotel. The rooms were updated and comfortable. Will highly recommend. Nothing
Nice rooms, comfortable big beds, good price for location Not the most beautiful from the outside where we stayed. Came a day earlier than reservation and they were sold out. Parking $25 a night!
setting no breakfast before 7 am
- Only "glitch" was that, when checking in, the front desk said that my business debit card was declined....twice. However: • There was 60x more funds in the account than was needed • I called the Bank and they had no record of even any attempts and • I immediately used that same card at the hotel restaurant Unfortunately, I was forced to use my personal credit card
Great hotel, great service. Our door balcony messed up on us and they moved us into a nicer room with a view to accommodate the inconvenience. Staff was nice and took great care of us. I would definitely go back again
Shower did not work in my room. I let the front desk know upon checkout and they did not offer any discount for my inconvenience. I had to ask them what they could do for me, and after some haggling with them, they gave me free parking for the night. Will not stay at this hotel ever again.
Ants in room, being charged for a 23 oz draft but only getting a 16 oz glass.
Staff was friendly A/C did not work and carpets were dirty
Great location, comfortable room Hallways and bathrooms were not clean to Hilton standards
The proximity to port Everglades is convenient. When I arrived, I was ignored for 20 minutes just standing at the counter while 2 staff members were having a conversation. The lobby and hallways were filthy and smelled terribly. when I asked about the smell a staff member replied "that's just how it smells". While checking in online, I requested a high floor room with a marina view. what they gave me was a first floor room and the "beautiful marina view" was obstructed by overgrown and unkept vegetation, so overgrown that I couldn't get any sunlight into the room. The staff was both incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. I called down 3 times on my first day to request extra pillows, they told me all 3 times the pillows were on the way. Nothing was ever delivered to the room. There was a large gathering of water underneath the television when I got into the room, when I asked about this they told me they would "look into it" This was without a doubt the worst stay I've ever had at a Hilton property. I would've stayed at a motel 6 and paid a fraction of the price If I knew it was going to be this terrible.
Intercoastal view with a big tree blocking from seing anything
The staff is friendly and accumulating. Easy access to beach front. Updated lobby and rooms. Near liquor store. Don't worth the $200+ a night rate I paid. It looks and feels like an old Holiday Inn that was renovated. The view from the rooms of the beach is only a half view as the building is blocking the rest. The carpet was stained. The shower had mold on the grout and caulked in areas. The A/C only kicked on when it wanted to. The pool is the size of an above-ground pool. I paid the rate because the reviews and pictures looked appeasing but it turned out to be a front. Also, it is not an adult only hotel; many, many families present and being very loud and obnoxious. 2-star rating. Only stay here if you find a rate for under $100 a night. Very, very disappointed.
Rooms are stylish, well concepted and executed. Baths and beds and interior design is well done. Rooms have great views and are quiet. This hotel and the W are the two best hotels in Fort Lauderdale and this is a great value. Close to restaurants and the beach. Slight access issues, but once you've stayed there you figure it out and its fine, the location offsets any access challenges.
Room and view was wonderful! Staff was helpful, and the pool was relaxing. Loved the love music at the pool. Breakfast at the hotel resturant cost us a pretty penny.
The personal are professional and very polite.
Vera¡y good location The service specially for the breakfast was very poor
This was a great place to stay. It was very nice and looked more modern than most of the hotels on the strip. Staff very friendly and helpful. Most rooms had a beautiful view of the ocean! The higher your room the better. Beds were very comfy. Room amenities: Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, ice bucket, 4 glasses, safe, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner/bath gel dispenser in shower, iron/board, mirrors on the closet doors, 2 bottles of water daily They also offered 2 welcome drinks from the bar upon arrival, free beach towels and 2 free beach chairs daily. Location: The location of this hotel was good for us. It is located at the corner of A1A and Sunrise Blvd. The beach was right across the street and this section of the beach wasn't as crowded. We did not need to rent a car. There was plenty of things within a block surrounding the hotel. There was a Thai sushi place, 24hr pizza place, Mediterranean/Vegan spot, deli/sandwich shop, ice cream, popcorn, Subway, 7 Eleven. There were also several souvenir shops, a pub and a couple of other small restaurants. We rented a scooter from Fun Rentals right behind the hotel so we could explore a little further. Great transportation without paying for valet parking. We also used the beach shuttle ($3/person). Other transportation options include Trolley ($1/ride), City bus (bus stop right out front), cab, Uber, bike rentals. The nightlife is about a mile south of the hotel (30 min walk) on A1A. The Galleria mall was about 1/2 mile west on Sunrise blvd...not far at all. Overall this was a great place and we would stay here again. The pool was sort of small though. I would have liked a microwave as well though. Restaurant in hotel was kind of expensive so we never ate there.
Friendly staff, clean, close to beach. Nothing negative
Very comfortable bed. Rooms are nice. Location to beach is great. Parking cost is $30/night. You can hear every sound through the door.
The woman at the front counter was extremely helpful and friendly. She immediately saw our daughter who is two and offered to have us a crib sent up immediately. Hotel restaurant server was also excellent. Gave us great service and the food was great. Seemed a little too "uppity" for our family. It always seemed as if someone was looking for a tip. My husband went down to get a luggage cart to take our bags downstairs and the guy wouldn't let him have the cart. Said it was a "liability". I've been to a lot of hotels and always used my own luggage cart. It's not a liability for heavens sake. It just means someone won't get a tip. Also the bed was not very comfortable but that's just a personal opinion. It could be very comfortable to someone else.
NOTHING. EVERYTHING. I would not stay here, they are not accomodating, the staff is rude and inconsiderate. There sheets were terrible, and the room was dirty.
Great view, location - nice rooms. Bed was way too comfortable!
Great location. Great last minute deal thru Kayak. I will definitely stay again. My room was RIGHT BY THE ELEVATOR... bad move. You hear everythjbg coming in and out. Also, the chef... Well, let's just say the meal I had wSnt great. Actually, it wasn't good either.
The pool area made you feel like you were far away on an Island resort The room lighting, not enough. Felt like it was cloudy outside bcs the rooms were dark. Need better lighting
Nice hotel with a good entertainment Service when we left the room our plane late, they din't help us (only for money) with a shower before we going. We must too the toilet in the casino for other close.
I can not tell you just how horrible our stay was. we were still awake at 9am from the noise in the hall ,the next room was party city. How many whores can fit in a hotel room? even the dirt in the hallways and elevators surprised us. this isn't a hotel on the weekends it is like a sorority house with absolutely no rules and no regard for anyone elses sensibilities. horrible horrible stay.
Beautiful hotel and pool. Great staff Got to the hotel late Sunday night. Not much to do at the hotel during the week.
The hotel is a self-contained city...lots of shops and restaurants...the downside was its a casino on Indian property so smoking is allowed----YUCK!
location to sun life stadium staff was rude and room check-in is disfunctional. room should have been ready much sooner than it was.
Our suite was very nice. Really enjoyed the comfort. The air smelled like cologne-covering smoke, but it didn't.
Thought the mattresses were not that firm and comfortable. And if you have a king size bed include king size pillows with the bed . The pillows are so worn and small . Didn't like that the outside venue seemed abandoned not as many shops most things were closed while I was there . Was unaware there was construction. And after talking to a shop employee she said it's been torn up outside for so long and nothing has been done with the space . Definitely not the same fun place I visited several years ago. Seems like the outdoor area is getting rundown.
we only stayed for 2 nights and we really liked the swimming area and the casino the room was just what we wanted we will visit again the next time we are in florida 5 star all the way
I love the enviroment, staff, most resturant & shopping The only thing I dislike on every trip is room service, not the service itself but the food is of poor quaility. I made an inquiry a few trips back and found out it was prepared by The Blue Plate, where I dine after 1am as it was the only one open.....it's horrible!!!
The beds and linens were wonderful in our room. Room service for breakfast was excellent. The pool area is really lovely, both day and night. Rod Stewart's show was excellent. We found the hotel staff, with the exception of security people, were rather "grumpy".and this includes bartenders.
The casino wasgreat (even tho' we lost). Thefood was usually of good value. Our room was niceand the bed was great but itwas almost a mile walk from the elevator and wewerelocked out onASaturday night foralmost an hour!
The hotel property itself and the location are great features! I booked a non-smoking room, but my room had a strong remnant odor of smoke that probably was infiltrated in the carpet. Particularly irritating about this was the fact that I was compelled to sign a penalty fee commitment upon check-in if there was evidence of smoking in the room during my stay. Also, housekeeping services were below standards I expected.
Good value for money. Great breakfast, nice weekday evening snack.
The best part of the resort/hotel was location. Depending on what building you stay at, the beach was within walking distance. Also, many restaurants and activities weren't far away. We had to use our cell phones to call the front desk, because the speed dial numbers on the hotel phones would ring busy when we call. Also, called for a wake up call, which we never received. Housekeeping would not come or would come in the late afternoon, when we get back from our outings; often times the hallway and under the bed was not cleaned up. When we went to the beach, we were told to raise a flag (which was provided on a pole) when we would like to have bar staff come to see what we need. No one ever came to check on anyone on the beach. The resort fee (according to Delta Vacations) includes 2 beach chairs, 2 bottles of water, 2 signature drinks, 2-2hr bike rental, board games, sand toys, each day. However when asked, I was told the signature drinks were discontinued from the resort fee 2 years ago. Overall, the value for what we paid was not worth it, and do not plan on going back. The pictures from the website are not a good representation of facilities or service. Renovation can only improve appearance.
The pool right on the beach are awesome. You can sit in the pool and watch the TVs at the pool bar. The mermaid show is great and I have seen it about 5 times now. We were not informed that it was under major renovation. The bar in our building didn't open until 5:30. There used to be two bars but one is now closed for renovation. Since there were no vending machines on the hall floors, if you wanted a soda or otherwise you only had one option. Walk out, across the parking lot to a different building (also under renovation) and go to the pool bar. I couldn't even find where breakfast was. If we were just informed of the renovations we would have simply waited a bit to go. I was so dissatisfied we probably wont go back.
pool and right on the beach under construction. but can't help that
service was excellent. beachfront beautiful. rooms clean and comfortable. a long walk to pool due to construction., otherwise great.
The staff was terrific and welcoming, the renovatied rooms were lovely, the pool is amazing We didn't care for the onsite restaurants. However the wreck was fun and we enjoyed the mermaid show.
View Everything at this hotel is broken, elevators, phones, the Skywalk that takes you from one side to the other. The pool is small and there is only 1 bathroom for everyone, the line was at least half hour long all day. It was faster to walk the 2 blocks, cross traffic and climb the stairs to use the bathroom in your room than wait in line, or walk to the beach, which it seemed mist were doing, and use nature's facilities. They also charge $20 a day to park you car and another $20 for resort fees, I'm not sure where that money goes, since everything is broke and the pool is the almost the smallest I've ever seen at a hotel besides a few motel 8's.
Front desk was very kind and helpful. Gym was very nice and clean, but would recommend having antibacterial wipes/spray to clean equipment off after you use. Beach area was beautiful along with pool. Wish you guys had almond milk available in little breakfast area. In the hotel room, it did seem a little dirty. In the hallway down towards the room there was always a "funny" smell in the hallway that lasted the whole time. On the last day, we found a large toenail by bathroom door and was very dingy/dirty was adjoining door to the room next to us.
Just one cleaning lady was nice. Construction guys everywhere, noise, dust, smell.all restaurants in hotel closed! Second pool closed!SKYWALK-CLOSED! each time you go across the road with kids.Terrible experience this year.will never stop there again and will never recommend it to my friends!
Checked in at the B Ocean in Fort Lauderdale beach, the phone in the room wasn't working most of the time, staff said that they would send a tech to fix it, but no one never came. Ordered room service, waited two hours for them to tell me that the menu that was in the room was an outdated menu which they originally brought me when I had to order, cause there was no menu in the room, so it took me about 3 hours to get some dining in my room. And to have this room cleaned, I had to call at least twice to tell them to send someone to clean the room, and when they finally came, some supervisor came up to room 792 with an attitude to tell me that they were busy and that's why it took them so long. Overall, I will never stay at this hotel anymore, and recommended no one to stay here either. Service is extremely bad.
Nice People Paying for parking across the street $30.00 a day, You are paying to stay there your parking should be free.
Great pool and beach! Undergoing extensive renovations without being warned when booked the hotel.
I booked a room at B Ocean Resort for NYE and the following night. First, I was assigned the wrong room in the wrong tower. The second day, our access card didn't work anymore, because the room was not properly registered as a back-to-back reservation. Second, while we ended up getting a room with lcean view, the sink wasn't properly working. Third, and the worst part about it, B Ocean Resort charger my credit card randomly with bills that I never signed off for. I had about 6 charges for random amounts on my bill, but had only signed one final bill at checkout. Lastly, the food is very expensive. For instance, we ordered one yoghurt as room service for breakfast and the bill, including taxes and tip was $20 (!) For a 4 stars "resort" I would expect way better service and staff, particularky considering their pricing. Billing my card with unauthorized charges is unacceptable!
Excellent location, very nice pools and grounds, nice bathroom and comfortable beds, good TV selection, wonderful beach. Part of the hotel is under renovation and we could not go outside to our balcony. They were all locked and dirty from the reconstruction. We have stayed here about 5 yrs ago and everything was perfect. Everything is still very well kept ,but the hotel is starting to show signs of wear. So, the renovation is on time. Finish date is Fall 2016. I can't wait to see it. We will be back. Hotel very crowded and busy this holiday weekend.
Worst cell and internet reception
Pool area is fantastic, beachfront hotel and staff were accomodating and most of them freindly. very expensive to buy anything at the hotel. Room was not perfect but the beach view was memorable!! Worth the extra $$. There was no free wifi even with the pricy room! not acceptable these days.
Location of the hotel is great, beautiful pool and patio, Great staff overall. The hotel is under heavy construction switching from Westin to Hilton So if you like the sound of pile drivers at 6h00am every morning.... Nothing was told or specified when we made our reservation that the hotel was a construction site!!! Not professional at all!
The location and beach access. Hotel was beautiful and comfortable. Construction didn't take away from beauty of hotel. The resort fees. Just include in price up front.
Nice people and when things weren't right they made it right.
Excellent pool bar service! Rivals sports bar service on both visits was BRUTAL! Stay at the other bars on property or go somewhere else. You will be glad you did.
Love the pool and the view of the beach! Everything was clean! Couldn't take food outside to the pool or a cooler. Security guards were annoying on that.
They aré remodeling all the hotel, so all services and features are not available
Pretty location and the facilities are nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff and operations were a hot mess. Ownership has changed and it was as if every employee there was on their last day of work. The checkin was a mess, the billing was wrong three times, the beach was nearly impossible to get help with chairs etc. the place is on a steady decline. Find somewhere else to stay for that kind of money unless they get their act together. We recommend the Palms in Miami beach! Same price but 1000% better on customer service and style.
THE beach, the room, the lobby I was charged for everything! Even charged for receiving a delivery package. At the end, it ended up being a very expensive hotel.
I love the Diplomat - it's my home away from HOME! :) I wish I could go more often
Welcoming helpful staff. I checked in late at night and my checkout time was upgraded an hour for free. Good continental breakfast bug nice bed Small tv. No fridge.
Location, quietness, staff, ample rooms, parking, WiFi, TV choices Breakfast vaiety and staff
Location, room size Breakfast room staff
Breakfast Don't have microwave The staff from the from desk was rude at the time we ask for it
It was clean and comfortable I booked be paid prior to travel and was told on arrival it only prepaid for one night. I would locked out of my room at 10 the following morning if I didn't provide a card for the remaining 3 nights. Surprised by this news and told if i left my card would be charged the balance owed to the card. I made the reservation on. But I used my husbands credit card online and didn't have that Card with me. Only a lower balance cc to be used on my trip. Everyday our room keys would quit working. The TV also didn't work and we had to change rooms once they couldn't get it working.
Comfort, atmosphere. Staff was friendly, helpful. Outdoor walking from place to place (i.e. room to room, room to pool) Food was not good and not enough a variety. Needs coffee. Laundry facilities not in the building. Wine was way overpriced.
Pool lounge and pool staff were very friendly and accommodating as was the bellmen. Lots of things tho do for kids. Breakfast menu at Mariners was very overpriced and of little value including drinks. Women's poolside restroom didn't have functioning locks on stalls.
A beautiful place and always feels like you are on a luxury vacation. The lobby bar is one of the best hotel bars ever. I am concerned my credit card will be used under someone else's name as my bill I received was incorrect at the end of my stay and had the incorrect t address on the statement... Every time I've been to the hotel the check in is a huge issue and great area of concern... Honestly, limits my likeliness to return due to headache of rooms are never ready (I checked in last time the room wasn't ready until after 6p and this time I checked in at 4p and had to choose a room on a lower floor due to room on the original was not ready).
Hotel did not look the same as pictures displayed online. The room smelling like old cigarette smell it wasn't a balcony either
Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable I liked everything
Very clean room Pool very cloudy
Lots of activities to do, large chess, pedal car racing, stage, soccer goals, corn hole set up, ping-pong, foozeball, kids play room, kids camp, huge hot tub, 2 pools. Pool bar. Inside sky bar, amazing vue from rooftop. Clean rooms and modern for the age if hotel. Deff a nice place to stay i stayed 2nd floor marina vue #2333 next time ill stay in the tower . Alexander in maintenance/engineering was amazing too Pier 66 restaurant, is not attched to hotel might be seperate entity all together, however it has the class and feel of a 5 star classy reasuraunt but the noise of a pub or sports bar on game day weekend. 20 percent gratituity added to bill automatically and prices were beyond crazy for two people water and food expect around 50 to 90 bucks a head more if u have alcohol or appetizers. Food was great tho so was service. So to each is own still a great time.
Parking was $25
The property is in a sorry state, run down, depressing. The pardon our appearance signs do not forgive the obvious neglect. The staff acts like they know it too. Stay away.
The pool area was very nice and great location on the water close to the beach I reserved a room with a king size bed. When I arrived I was told there was none available and was given a room with two queen size beds. They seemed smaller than queen and were definitely cheap mattresses. Very uncomfortable. Also the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and there was mold on the walls. Definitely not a 4 star!
My boyfriend and I flew in from out of town and stayed here this past week for 3 days. Everything was amazing; the front desk was very professional and polite. Room service was great and accommodating. I loved the spa pool and pool side bar. The view of the marina from our room was breath taking. We will definitely be staying here again when we fly in for Christmas.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Nice big room. Air was slow to cool and the ice maker in friend didn't work
clean. nice breakfast.
We really enjoyed the roomy rooms... Had a lot of space. We had a 1-bedroom suite. The location is close to nice shopping. The one thing that did not meet our expectation was the pillows. They were too soft for us and meant we woke up many times at night and with a light headache. Since there are 4 pillows on the bed we suggested to have 2 soft and firmer pillows.
I liked the room the best. The check in staff was absolutely rude and had horrible customer service. I ended up greeting a refund because they were so ride!!! Would never ever stay here our recommend it to anyone.
Please tell your morning cook that runny, slimy eggs are not good.
Perfect stop over for myself and my husband. We would definitely stay there again.
Location Great, Room and Hotel sparkling clean and up to date Decor. Staff very gracious and cheerful. Nothing
excellent layout of the room and amenities I didn't mind being given a handicap room but when the compressor kick on for the AC, it was incredibly loud like it was locmaking a hard to rest Well.I brought this to the attention of the front desk and she seemed to just dismiss it.
my own 1 bedroom suite with a fully furnished kitchen including a full size frig, dishwasher, garbage disposal and my stay had daily room service & free breakfast. EVERY ROOM IS A SUITE!
Everything; family-friendly, a great free breakfast, the room's layout was just perfect with comfortable beds plus the friendly and knowledgeable staff made our stay very memorable. NO!
The location was prime, our room was great, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were tempted to extend our stay by one additional day but for our obligations at home. Even with their exterior renovations, there was no disruption of our stay.
Breakfast was not typical Hampton quality
Shuttle service, buffet breakfast, proximity to malls, friendly staff
clean hotel no
This hotel front desk staff is overall very pleasant and accommodating, and the facilities are fair. I enjoyed the management staff as they were attentive and found solutions to issues quickly and efficiently. The air conditioning works GREAT! The rooms are poorly lit, the cafe bar staff was rude and did not attend to customers quickly, and the beds and technology was terrible. The hotel is located in an area with very little choices in food and shopping. This is purely a business related hotel.
the location is good. good house keeping. modern loooking and close to the airport. the place is clean. day staff are more professional. will make sure your wellfare comes fisrt. easy check in, easy check out. night staff was rude. would not recommend children around the front desk at night.. female who runs night shift is rude and opnoctious to hotel residents while cursing the other young workers or friends she had loitering the entrance of the Marriott courtyard. reminds me of the hotels back home i would only rent by the hour.
Friendly staff No linen for pull out sofa in room
I loved everything about the place The only thing I didn't like I was treated to two days at the hotel and it was paid for at checkout I was charged for hotel fee complimentary water a chair on beach that was a bit strange they should include it in the price especially When U check in and they tell you it's complimentry I get a bit cheated
Location Staff from the pool really rude open more time the pool
Location, great pool, lots of on site food choices, no need to even leave the resort The housekeepers would forget to clean the room. Mattress is terrible
Staff were absolutely amazing, thumbs up to the crew. The pool is absolutely beautiful, rooms clean, beach is five seconds from the pool. Highly recommend staying here!!!
Quiet, relaxing, close to shopping and restaurants. Could use more staff.
Wound up staying here during peak season on a business trip. Would be a great choice for family/spouse getaway and the staff were absolutely excellent. Excellent accomdation for the money and would go back.
The breakfast was great but everything else..... I had been traveling for 2 weeks and I pick this location because it had a laundry. I get there and it's broken but when I inquire at the desk they say they did not even know it was broken. They tell me to wait until morning and they will have it fix. Good for me that I did not believe them, cause it still was not fixed by 11 am the next day. So at 12 am I'm looking for a 24 hour laundromat and I ask the guy at front desk for quarters and he gives my family and I attitude. I also called to say I was going to be late to not give my room away. I get there and say sorry we gave your room away and was stuck in a smoking room. The staff then tried to blame me and said you must of booked the smoking room. I kept my cool but as someone who travels for work never again!!!! Also front lobby smells of guest that smoke pot. NO THANKS! Service is not a standard at this hotel.
Airport transfer is unreliable. I waited over an hour for the airport shuttle which did not arrive and had to get a cab to the hotel. And that was 10 am in the morning. Entrance to the hotel was easy to miss since the hotel was partially hidden from there main road.
The curtains do not block light from the parking lot. They would not accept the B W rewards program.
the service was friendly, room exceeded my expectations was clean and big!!! as soon as i settle in my room front desk called to check everything was ok. I would say I got more that I thought for my money.
The gym and room was very nice. We don't eat pork products and that's what was served each day. They could have added turkey to the menu as well for diversity. The carpet in thefroom was very worn and the bathroom sink was clogged , the water took a very long time to go down the drain.
Location No kitchen in room
Great location, close to airport and beaches. Not a lot of frills, but a comfortable bed, decent breakfast, and the staff is awesome. Also not a bad fitness center. Even though the location is great, it's a little difficult to find so if you drive pay attention. Located next to I95 so a little loud out by the pool, but hard to notice unless a really large truck comes through.
offered shuttle service to the cruise port for $12 per person Very busy hotel on the weekend.
We stayed at this Best Westin for 2 days because we missed a connecting flight to Myrtle Beach. The hotel is very close to airport with clean rooms, nice spa pool, and breakfast. The staff were all friendly and excellent hospitality.
We stayed the day before our cruise. Complimentary Shuttle picked up from the airport and for a nominal fee, a shuttle took us to the cruise the next day. The hotel is in walking distance from many restaurants. Great value and convenience. Unfortunately, we were in competition with 8 other cruise lines, so getting picked up from the airport was a bit of a nightmare...One of the hotel Shuttles was out of commission so the operating shuttle was continuously filled up..It took an hour to get to the hotel which was less than 10 minutes away. Advise.....check to see how many cruise ships are sailing on the same day!
Free breakfast and shuttle to the airport Room smelled very musty and front desk said it was because of the humidity. I've stayed at many hotels in Florida without a musty odor in the past.
Conveniently located. 3.5 miles from Dania beach, nice large rooms. Room service is quite pushy if you dont let them in every day to clean your room. Breakfast ends way to early, 9 am during the week, 10 am sat and sun. Tv doesnt work well and is very touchy.
I enjoyed my stay here. I would reccomend staying poolside view because there are train tracks very close and can be very loud. For all the bad reviews out there I believe that was long ago and they are working hard to revive their image. The mattresses were brand new, the staff was friendly and if you're looking for something cheaper and looking to drive to the beach.. the beach is only 10-15 min away depending on the beach you want to go to. I highly reccomend this for young adults, families not looking to spend way too much.. and it's great if you're not looking to be in the hotel too much. Breakfast is not included but that makes sense for the price you're paying. There is a resteraunt inside the hotel that we did not visit, but it looked nice. Not bad at all and highly reccomend!
Cleanliness comfort Wifi , train noise
One of the staff members, Andrew, were great. The restaurant in the hotel was amazing. Housekeeping was lazy and didn't clean, even after asking multiple times. Majority of staff were inattentive, WiFi was always out, the rooms had weird smell, and the elevator remained out of order my entire stay. No breakfast also.
It was a decent room for the price. Staff was rude. I had a man come and try to tell me to go back inside my hotel room. Kinda dirty
Directions were correct. Hotel is being remolded, bugs everywhere, no fridge in room, creepy people all around, security not at all, smelled horrible, paid online, still was charged at the hotel, elevators didn't work.
The room was nice and clean with all the amenities. We were given a room on the fifth floor where the elevator was broken. We cannot climb five flights of stairs. My husband had bad chest pains and I have COPD and a bad back. Our son had to get us both eyes water immediately as we were suffering from climbing five flights of stairs to a room with not a good view.
The staff was friendly and very courteous N/A
Nothing. I got my refund. The staff understood why. We left after getting to the room. Mold on the walls. Hand smeared something on another wall. Pics look nothing like the place. I'm pretty sure half of the hotel is a homeless shelter. Had a man follow us to our room and made us feel very uncomfortable. The staff was nice and seemed to understand the kind of customers who stay/live there.
How close it was to where I was traveling On the reservation I put 4 guests.. tell me why in the room they only gave me 2 towels and linen for 2 guests.. when I notified front desk they took nearly an hour and a half to deliver the new items requested.
The location, walking distance to restaurants and bus stop Poor consumer service Elevator was bad Wifi wouldn't connect
Nothing. When we walked in. The front was under construction which was fine; however, we were informed that one of the elevators was working off and on so to avoid it. We took the "working" elevator up which had a musty aroma and walked to our room which did not have correct sign to guide us there. When we finally found it, the room was humid. We walked in and then ok our shoes off and realized immediately why. The a/c unit was leaking all over the carpet. At that point, we decided to leave. Got a refund and left.
Front desk staff were super friendly and informative. The shower was hot and powerful. Only about 5 miles from beach and fishing pier. Well...... We walked in and the headboard had fallen off the wall it was mounted to previously. They made no attempt to try to even straighten the headboard before putting us in the room. Also the room was filthy. The toilet had pee in it from the previous rental. The room had a broken lamp. Oh and did I mention that my 7 year old found a half burned marijuana joint on the counter from the previous renter. "What is this on the counter daddy?". I don't think the room was cleaned between the previous renter and us. Good luck if you choose this motel. Hopefully you have better luck than we did. It is a 2 star at best but really a 1 star motel. No way it's even close to the 3 stars advertised.
I was very displeased with the facility and the staff in this hotel. I received a confirmation for arrival time after 3 pm, and grant it I arrived a little later as I anticipated, and the front desk stated that the room was not ready and that it would be another hour before I can get in. The room was not up to par, stains on the floor and musty smell in the room. This is the second attempt at a La Quinta and was disappointed both times.
The location. The bathroom door wasn't painted in the back to the bottom. Hair was in my bath and drying towels.
Pet Friendly. Good value. Floors were dirty.
Nothing This place was scary. The rooms were terrible, and the hotel seems to be undergoing construction? All Inculsive? That's a joke. The room next to me was gutted and you could see into it from the hole in the door. I had to leave after an hour because i didn't feel safe.
This hotel was an extremely low grade. For the price you pay, if you're wanting something in this price range, you could definitely find something cheaper that's better or invest a little more in a higher grade hotel. The outside was disappointing and the inside matched it. It's definitely dated and needs some work, as well as gives off this old smell. The bed was real uncomfortable and when I got to my room I had no soap, no towels or anything else that all hotels lay out for you. Staff was incompetent and I will not be back.
The staff at the desk was nice. We were greeted at the room by roaches on the wall, in the bathroom, on our night table. I slept with the light on the whole night because i was scared to be in the dark with so many roaches
Price reasonable Staff sucks. Too busy joking around and dont want to be serious
I like that I only stayed for a day. It's a apartment/low living housing where weed is smelt through the hallways, crying babies, and no AC. Then there is 2 bouncers working the front desk, so making a complaint is not heard of. No bathroom soap, just hand soap. Towels had to be from when they first open years ago. You pay for what you get but a holiday in or motel 6 would of been cleaner.
nothing Dirty Gross Broken tv Appeared to be blood on floor and walk
It is hotel that tries to look luxurious or was at some point but it still looks a bit nice. Overall we only needed it for an emergency night so it worked out and great price.! The Custumer service could be upgraded, the rooms are clean but a little rusty when we got to the room it drinked like a lot of bleach, ither they had jut cleaned it or it made me wonder why they had to use sooo much bleach. And the bed ONLY have a super thin sheet so if you are styling there and would like to be worm take your own blankets .!!
Nothing. The hotel was very dilapidated and run down. The furniture was dirty and the floor and walls spotted. The bathroom was dirty and the hotel did not provide towels in either of the rooms we rented. We did not even stay the night. checked out after 5 hours.
First room was acceptable although old until the air conditioner leaked on the floor. The front desk staff were fantastic and helped me to another room. This room was obviously rennovated because it was much more modern. BUT, the second room had broken soap/lotion dispenser at the sink, and MISSING soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower. The sink glass bowl leaked on the counter, and the shower water never got even warm. Leaking airconditioner and outdated interior design in first room. Leaking sink, broken soap dispenser, loose faucet in bathroom. Missing soap/shampoo dispenser and no hot water in shower. Sliding door to balcony did not open.
Nice location, nice looking from the exterior, and nice lobby. That's it. Rooms were run down. Soap dispenser leaking/dripping soap to the floor, creating a puddle. Pillow dirty, and had a public hair. Wood floor was cracked and chipping for away. Shower window had soap scum everywhere. Tub was old and rusty. Room had a smell. Air condition works and was cold, but adjuster knob broken. And the hallways to the rooms were very run down too. Basically, the guest rooms didn't match it's location and lobby.
The only good thing was the price. Arrived to a dirty room, had to pick out a different one- regardless all the rooms were dirty and had problems either with beds, A/C or moldy floors. No soap in the bathroom at all, asked the staff, the cleaning lady never showed up with the soap, i'm guessing they don't provide soap. Heard a rooster on someone's balcony from 4 am till 7 am. Neighbors were very noisy, didn't get any sleep. The smell of weed everywhere. Outside of the hotel looks old, poorly maintained and trash everywhere.
