Thought the rooms were good value - like the touches with the slippers and dressing gowns. Fortuntely for me the weighing scales did not work !!....Food was good too.
The location was ideal for our needs, being 5 mins from our destination. We were very pleased wiith the staff and our room, and realise that being in the centre of a large town makes parking difficult, but the reason for booking the room was because we required an overnight stay and felt that £15 was excessive (we in fact parked next door but have never before had to pay extra for parking) and £16 each was over the top for breakfast (usually inclluded where we've stayed, or at most £10). We are pensioners and were attending a funeral and much as we would have liked to have parked with you and had breakfast before departing, we really couldn't afford it.
the room and bathroom was spacious and well decorated. the bed was comfortable and the curtains kept all the light out.
the room was clean on first sight but after we found stains of old blood on the sheets and the kettle was dirty inside
Extremely friendly and helful staff,no problems at all and the whole night went very smoothly
