This is a 4 star hotel. Loved everything about it!
Pros: Great boutique hotel in the heart of Coronado. Walk to everything. Recent renovation. Beautiful. Smaller rooms but very well done. Perfect for couples.

Free bike rentals and a garden are other highlights, and rooms at this Mediterranean hotel offer up nice touches like iPod docks and Frette Italian sheets.
Pros: The room was a suite so it really had all amenities, it was very big and comfortable. There was a separate bedroom, kitchen and living area. If I was there for a large amount of time, I could have cooked for myself - the rooms are like studio apartments. It was in a great location and easy to get to other places.
Cons: I had to climb the stairs to get into the room, it was a bit tough with luggage and had I known, I would have asked for something without stairs or help with luggage. There was no bottled water in the room, a personal pet peive of mine and no gym.

Pros: Super convenient place to walk from and shop for groceries or go to a local restaurant. The only downers were that both my my AC and fridge were not cold. If this trip were mid summer, it would have been a much bigger issue. Still a nice place.
Pros: Great location, right in the heart of Coronado. Will definitely come again!
Cons: Nothing-it's an older hotel so that may put people off, but I believe that just adds to the charm.

Pros: Stayed in coronado bay view room -- nice view, and quiet/relaxing at night. Pools not crowded.
Cons: Hairy bathrobes left in closet from prior guest; multiple calls to get new robes, and dirty robes not removed (we ended up leaving them outside in the hall). Tiny/claustrophobic shower. Location is ok, but you have to drive to get to a decent beach. Probably not worth $300+/night. Will try the Del next time.
Pros: The staff was very friendly! We loved the shuttle into town and to the beach, great perk! Breakfast from The Market was pretty good and came out quickly. Beds were comfortable. Every room has a balcony which is awesome! We had a couples massage at Sea Spa, I had Nancy who I highly recommend!
Cons: Our TV was broken, which they replaced and credited us a free movie. Bathroom and room in general was a little dirty; looked like something had spilled on the tv stand and wasn't cleaned, hairs in bathroom and in sink. Our view was basically of other balconies and the side parking lot, which was a bummer with paying so much to stay there. The Sea Spa area seemed a little run down. I feel it wasn't worth the money- it was more of a 3.5 star experience when I was expecting a 5 star from Loews.
Pros: We were on out 19th wedding anniversary celebration and we wanted to get away from the city, so decided to go local. Just on the other side of the Coronado bridge we found this nice secluded resort property right on the water. When we checked in, a wonderful receptionist upgraded our room to a suite and we were literally right in front of the bay with a gorgeous view of the city and the bay. Room and the badgering were very spacious in the grand view suite. Extra large tub was very nice. Bed was super comfortable. Resort is pretty spread out, so it didn't feel crowded even in the middle of the Summer. We will bring our whole family here next time.
Cons: Breakfast buffet at Market cafe wasn't that great for $25 per person. Also $29 for self parking. For the money they charged for the room that should be included. Pool area isn't all that grand. Adequate though.
Cons: Our check in was very late
Perched on its own 15-acre peninsula, Loews Coronado Bay is a private oasis of tranquility. This Coronado hotel offers views of the shimmering bay waters and the San Diego skyline.
Pros: best view of san diego bay and waterfront. a coronado island must-stay if you want bay views instead of ocean!
Pros: Location was great- very quiet and right on the water. The rooms were spacious for a family of four.
Cons: The staff was not very informative or helpful. They appeared very lazy and didn't go out of their way at all.

Pros: It was located very near our children so it was convenient. It was also near shopping, restaurants, and the ferry. Breakfast was good, wifi was good. Parking was on site and free which was very good.
Cons: We had read about the road noise level and called to register our concerns and ask for a room away from the roadside. But when we arrived the elevator was out of order and the only ground floor room was on the road side. It was VERY loud.
Pros: Fantastic location! We walked everywhere while staying here. The room is clean and has everything you need for a vacation stay.
Pros: Staff was very warm and friendly. Location was good. The room was large.
Cons: The price was quite high for the star level.
Pros: Close proximity to restaurants, the bay, and Tidelands Park.
Pros: They were very accomadating. We arrived very late and they were ready for us with a smile.
Cons: They only draw back was that with our very late arrival our room faced the street and the traffic started onto the island very early (5am early) and we didn't get much sleep that first night.
Pros: Very good value for the cost. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Also, no charge for parking.
Pros: Modern,very clean,great location, excellent
Cons: No. Perfect.
Pros: I liked the location, the Breakfast they provided and the good parking, a very clean room and friendly hotel staff...
We vacation in San Diego every year, but only stayed in this hotel for one night. We had rented a cottage for nine days in San Diego, but someone else had already booked it for the last night of our trip. We decided to stay here since we love Coronado, and this hotel was reasonably priced. The only real complaint I have was the traffic noise in the morning. This hotel is located close to a major road, and I assume the traffic noise was the morning commute for people working on the naval base. Even with ear plugs, the traffic noise was excessive, and we weren't even staying on the side of the hotel closest the busy street. I didn't go to breakfast, but my wife and daughter said it was very continental, a little disappointing. We had a King room, but there was no sofa, so we had to get a roll-away for our daughter. I was a bit surprised that they charged extra for the roll-away.
Pros: I often avoid this chain, because I prefer hotels that are 100% non-smoking. However this was a nice looking hotel, with clean rooms, and I detected no odors from smokers.
Cons: Traffic noise starting at 5:00 am was a definite issue.
Pros: The Room Layout
Cons: Not staying longer.
Pros: Friendly staff & clean rooms. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Wifi is slow and spotty. You get kicked off a lot.
Pros: Room: comfortable, clean, spacious, quietHotel: clean, friendly and helpful staffLocation: about half a mile from the water; very close to shops, restaurants and a market; all around great location

Cons: Check in was difficult. The hotel has two facilities. At first our two room were going to be at different facilities but they were able to get us at the same facility. The second facility has no pool. Just a bit awkward when you want your rooms to be close together. We were not able to get king beds even though we had booked kings.
The shower and tile in room 17 needed work.
Pros: Besides the great location, we really enjoyed this motel because the staff works hard to make all visitors welcome and comfortable.
Cons: Slightly outdated facilities could use some upgrading.

Pros: The location was amazing. Walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants and just a couple of blocks from the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great value! Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: It would be nice to have a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room.
La Avenida Inn puts you just a 5-minute drive from Coronado Beach and San Diego Coronado Bridge. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, and hiking/biking trails, surfing/boogie boarding, and segway rentals/tours are nearby. All rooms feature iPod docks and free WiFi.
Pros: El Cordova was in an excellent location near the beach and right off of Orange Ave., the Main Street in Coronado. The shops and restaurants in the El Cordova made it feel less like a hotel and more like an apartment. Our hotel room had a kitchen with stove, fridge, and microwave, which was nice. The bathroom facilities were clean. The building maintained it's old styling, but the inside was updated with modern features. The staff was extremely helpful with transportation and advice for people new to the city.
Historic 1902 Mansion transformed into a charming Spanish Village with 40 guest rooms featuring 1 and 2 bedroom suites with full kitchens, 20 boutique shops, 3 restaurants, and courtyard with newly renovated pool and Jacuzzi. Across from Hotel Del Coronado and 1 1/2 blocks to the best beach on Coronado.
Pros: We have always wanted to stay here for a romantic getaway
Cons: We had to wait for our room
Pros: The location was outstanding.
Cons: The room wasn't very clean - dusty baseboards and window blinds. It was also pretty loud, with door-slamming making sleep elusive.
Pros: The main building is charming, decadent and very unique. You'd be hard pressed to find another beachside resort like the Del
Cons: The towers are the opposite: not charming, cheaply built and the polar opposite of the Victorian main. Also, everything was twice the price includes the brunch.
Pros: Beautiful location and great food!
Cons: We paid for an ocean view and they stuck us on the second floor where our view was the back wall of the pool bathroom and a giant tree. Could barely see the ocean at all.
Pros: Always a great staff, beautiful room, all of the history of the Del, and romantic atmosphere.
Pros: Everything was so clean and beautiful.
Cons: Cost was a bit much. Nickeled and dined you for everything you did
Pros: Amazing location, super kid friendly with all sorts of activities. Great pool and service too! Sunday buffet was one of the best I've had.
Cons: We stayed in the ocean towers which does not look like the other buildings and is a tad outdated with a CD player. Our refrigerator had to be fixed and at one point the hot water stopped working. I'll go back but stay in the main building next time.
Pros: Great near the beach and restaurants
Cons: The toilet leaked and flushed all the time we were there, night time it was really annoying. Also, the automatic light feature in the bathroom kept going on throughout the night probably 20 times! Very thin walls and ceiling. Definitely not worth the money, but as a one time stay over.
Pros: The hotel is amazing with a lot of history. The staff were very helpful, and nice.
The food was very good, but the charge you for everything.
We were celebrating my sister's birthday, and we got a gift card for a few discounts around the hotel.
Cons: The hall outside the rooms were dirty. The hotel is very old, and some parts of it, shows it. The carpet in our room was old and dirty.
The cocktails were worst than the cheapest all inclusive, and expensive
Pros: Loved it, never had to leave for anything. Great Restaurants and Shops
Cons: One of the greatest locations you will experience
Pros: Location and property of the hotel were amazing!
Cons: Food was overpriced.
