Although my overall experience was fine I realized there are much better hostels around and this one is actually a bit far to the beach for walking. I like that they were relaxed about the hostel entrance as it is a beach town hostel, you may be a bit sandy but they didnt care.
I asked about the tours they provided but they didnt give me enough information. When I was checking in, the lady was playing video game on the computer and didnt even look at my face. At the end I had to book from another tour agent and after the tour I had to call the agent and asked if I can use their phone at the reception and they were so rude saying "if you could booked with us you would have no problem, it is more complicated if you book other agents" I wish they were more informative about their tours. The guy working in the morning was very friendly but did not speak enough English unfortunately. Also there could be an option about selling/depositing lockers for the storage they provide in the room as it cannot be locked the way it is now. Also I didnt like that toilets are in the corridor and you have to go through the toilet to go to the room and thats not a very nice smelling area.
This is the second time I’ve stayed here. Comfy beds, good air con, clean and very good value for what you get
Very good value. Huge lockers underneath the bed, lots of room and comfy beds. Great air con and a really nice social area.
Not much. The drinks fridge stops at 6pm so you then have to buy from the bar which is double the price. Apart from this every thing else was great!
The room as nice. Clean and enough space. Get what you pay for. Location not too far from beach
Staff were happy to assist in booking travel to places however we're not very helpful in the morning we checked out. We asked if a taxi could be booked and was told we have to get one ourselves.
I stayed in a private room and it was great! Spacious and clean, it felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Everything was very comfortable.
the common area wasn’t very inviting, there was no one haNging around which made it impossible to meet people. The location was also a bit farther than expected. It was about a 20 min walk to the beach. There was construction work outside my window which meant I couldn’t open the curtains for natural light because workers outside the window. The staff got things done and helped out with everything I needed, but weren’t super friendly like in other hostels iv stayed.
