Lovely views from location.
Reception staff rude. Did not make any effort to speak to or greet guests. Some of restaurant staff also abrupt. Need to make more effort to make guests feel welcomed rather than treating them like they are an unpleasant inconvenience.
This hotel is an absolute sham, totally miss sold. The rooms advertised are nothing like the rooms given. Old run down. And smells. Over priced
Located in perfect location with wonderful beach views
Breakfast was very good and the staff are exceptionally efficient and attentive. The location is perfect and if you can manage to get one of the on site parking spaces it is a bonus although I noticed that on street parking was only £5.40 for the full day and free overnight. The ambience is traditional and the lounges are comfortable. The evening meal was OK - my wife had duck which she enjoyed although the portion was small and the fish in my fish and chips was very good. The bathroom in our room looked like it had been modernised to a high standard although the bedroom itself looked in need of some updating No complaints about the bed - very large and comfortable and we slept well. The fan supplied by the hotel was needed as the weather was very muggy. We stayed in room number 1 which is described as executive.
The chips that accompanied my fish and chip dinner were obviously frozen - for the price (£17) I would expect hand cut/fresh potatoes. The ones on my plate were plentiful but quite bland.
