lovely balcony with view of harbour. Huge bed. Very clean. Nice bar. 5min walk from Ramblas and 10mins to beach. I'm booking again for next year. Not the worlds greatest shower, but nice bath and bathroom. Oh, and don't binge on the mini bar...predictably extortionate.
Absolutely great Cold water in the bath monday morning, but it was advised in advance
The staff were helpful and very friendly
I like that is located very near the beach and some of the most touristy places in Barcelona. There is plenty of restaurants near by. The staff was very professional and accommodated me earlier then the usual check in time.
perfect view, nice room, balcony, swimmingpool, everything
Breakfast; wheel-chair-accessibility in my 10 days at the hotel i was able to open without help the door to my room only one time.
Everything about the hotel.. The location was perfect for us not so far from La rambla and the city center -Plaza Catalunya- (about 2 min walk to reach the begining of La Rambla) and the tourist bus has a stop station just infront of the hotel door + their was a very close metro station L3 just at the begining of La Rambla. Nothing really. And I'm planing to stay their at my next visit.
The bath tub was the highlight Overpriced for what you get. Staff was friendly and room was clean but that's not saying much.
Great location, 10 minutes walking distance to La Rambla for dining and shopping. The hop on hop off bus stop is a block from the hotel for easy site seeing. We came from the cruise ship port and the taxi fare was only $11 Euros. The hotel staff are very friendly and professional. The room we had was a large suite with a separate living area. The room was modern, clean, with a comfortable bed and very well appointed. I would hesitate to staying here again on our next trip to Barcelona.
We have stayed 4times at this hotel and everyone is very helpful we really enjoy staying there for comfort Location Hotel staff its wonderful
It's clean hotel and I like the bed bellow and the mattres I don't like the staff they are really not friendly make you feel like you are not welcome.
It was clean and the room was relatively large for a European hotel. I liked the band in the lobby lounge the bathroom tub was leaking. when you turned on the shower, it would spray water all over the room.
it was excellent my wife and i plus other members of my familt will be staying again next year
The hotel was newly re-furbished and wery clean Only room service available
The hotel was very clean, and the staff were very helpful.
Clean place and convinient
The staff of the reception, cleaning of the room The service of the restaurant.
Perfect location, Cleanliness Nothing
What an excellent hotel! The rooms do look like the pictures, a great place to relax. Will definately go there again. The hotel is 100m from the Plaza Espagna subway-entrance, there is a small supermarket around the block. Nothing really, just minor wishes like a bathtub or coffe/tea-facilities in the room. But then again, there is complimentary water in the little fridge in the room.
Perfect location, easy access to every attractions, near metro, railway station and airport bus station. Quiet, got Wi-fi, big room. We booked a double room and was given a twin, but changed to double room the next day. Some reception staff's English is not very good, forgot to move our luggage into the new room. A bit slow for check in.
Room was very good ... expecialy bathroom metro is very closed
Rooms were very comfortable and good clean bathrooms but a mini bar would have been a good addition and there were no Kleenex for the ladies. Bar area was too austere, need to be made more comfortable.
I chose this hotel mainly for its location and convenience for station. My room was comfortable and clean, although the shower taps need some attention. The waiter in the cafeteria was very friendly although he was very overworked which meant we had to wait a long time for service. Although not really the fault of the hotel (more of my fellow guests) the smell of tobacco on 4th floor, particularly on the landing and passage was very unpleasant. It was supposed to be a non-smoking floor. I was very disappointed with the food available on Sunday night in the bar/cafeteria as the restaurant was closed. Poor choice and one of the toughest steaks I have encountered in ages!
Access to trains
Everything was awesome, the location was superb, the metro is under the hotel and there is Taxi station right when you exit the hotel, the tour bus station is one block away and there are alot of restaurants in the metro station like MacDonalds I liked everything
Unique Space Theme keeps kids and adults entertained. Rooms were well laid out and comfortable. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was excellent, cost 15 Euros, but so good that we ate there twice during our 3 day stay. Staff was VERY helpful in getting us where we needed to go on our short post-cruise stay in Spain. Every noise in the room was heard by everyone, including the rest room and shower. An exhaust fan of some sort would have helped with this and would have ensured the shower was not also a sauna. Also, there was not much privacy in the shower area, so everyone had to turn around when each of us got out of the shower to dress. A privacy curtain would have helped with this.
I liked that your staff helped us with all my problems:keep our lugage before we check in and after check out, they infomed us about transport ,visiting town;our room was cleaned every day.Iliked too, that the metro and the train and turistic bus were so accesibile from te hotel.Despite other guest air condiotining was good. Nothing specially.
Convenient destination to reach most of important places I was charged for breakfast as for to persons instead one. Good luck I saw the mistake while checking out. One day bathroom was not cleaned in a proper way.
we stay at hotel because we thing it handed for trains and buse and a lovely view around.my husband been three times now and i been two time think we be going back very soon and very nice hotel the only thing is tray of tea or coffee in room when people arrived
Location over the main train station. The theme is stupid, childish, already dated and slightly confusing rather than the attempted "cute". What dope thought that this was a good idea and PAID for the execution? This is the perfect location for a classy and efficient business hotel and instead they put up an amusement park that isn't amusing in the slightest.
Proximity to railway station.
The convience of the hotel for transportation that I needed to various locations in the area around Barcelona. The resturant was a bit over priced and the selection of items on the menu was not very apealing.
Perfect location & perfect view :) No.
Never stayed in that hotel. It was overbooked. And we got transferred to different hotel.
fantastic location - good service
location and staff
We had a wonderful suite overlooking the entire beautiful Catalonia!! It was the best experience ever! Can't wait to visit again. Thank you for your hospitality!! Best regards.
Location!!! Subway - entrance at the entrance of the hotel, bus from/to airport - 50 m, Montjuic - 500 m. The room was clean, breakfast - ok. The hotel seems a bit oldish, but it was perfect for our 2 night stay.
Great location; Great views on the front rooms; Clean aspect
Great location. Nice rooftop pool with great views AC didn't work in my room
Location, friendly staff, very quiet room, good breakfast, one child under 12 can stay free of charge. Small room, air conditioning did not work at all , non-smoking room was actually a smoking one(room stinks) even if the sign was hanged on the door room, towels and pillow cases had stains.
the location they are not aware about the conditions required in the request
Firstly the location is great, you can basically walk everywhere from the W Hotel and explore Barcelona. Staff was very professionnal and helpful. Pool area was nicely design with great view of the beach and the city. The room obsiously was brand new as the hotel opened just 2 weeks ago and had all great amenities. Loved the shower.
Absolutely everything, the hotel was fantastic we thoroughly enjoyed our stay-we will be back!
Almost everything was great. The view is just amazing. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. Very cool and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast buffet does not have many varieties. The Jacuzzi in the spa was not kept warm for client's use.
A very funky & cool hotel in a great location with amazing views.
The view from the room as well as service in the lobby and the staff at reception The spa as guests should be offered sauna/jacuzzi and pool for free of charge as well sometimes room service took too long and I expected the service to be a bit more personalised
Fantastic location, great view from our suite..Very nice design in the hotel, brand new facilities. Very good food in the hotel's restaurant Wave, friendly staff. Dissapointed by the quality of drinks in the bar Eclipse, staff was not very friendly..They should improve their service towards the people which are staying in the hotel. Too much focused on over charging. And you have to pay also for the internet, which I assume could be included in the nice price of the suite.
nice modern hotel, have my doubts about finishings and quality of materials used. suppose this Hotel will look and feel outdated within some years. Staff is very helpfull. Some great views from the rooms and upper floor bar. Location visavis center and most attractions is bad. Too far without taxi or other means of transportation. This very much a hotel "been there, no waouw feeling, ain't coming back"
New, well designed, comfortable, clean, beach proximity, fitness room, views, restaurants A little pricey
The staff especially at reception were extremely friendly and helpful. wonderful bar on the top floor and lovely large rooms not sure about the loos in a glass box in the rooms. not very private!
The atmosphere, the design, nothing
Very cclean room No kettle in room. No hot water for shower on the last day.
The location of the hotel was second to none. There were signs for a Bar but couldn't find one.
The location was ideal for access to the metro (within 50m), restaurants, bars and tourists sites. None, everything as expected.
The room was comfortable, clean and not what I imagined having read previous reviews, the staff on reception were very helpful and the location was perfect. The residents bar did not appear to be staffed at any point during our stay and the service during breakfast was less than helpful, however these are minor points and would not stop me recommending the hotel.
Proximity to main sightseeing places. Ability to enjoy walk around and along La Ramblas. Close to grocery bazaar (good option for delicious low-cost dinner: selection of cheese + several slices of prosciutto + freshly backed bread in nearby bakery + bottle of good table wine). Shopping lover will appreciate boutiques along La Ramblas and L'Corte Ingles Department Store across from Catalunya Sq. Offered breakfast was not bad (quality and value). Laptops in rooms and free internet access. Proximity to LaRamblas has negative side: too noisy late into night. Rooms are bit small for family with 2 kids. Beds have metal cases and make horrible noise when anyone turns around at night. In the bathroom we had just a shower with no proper tub; thus when taking shower water would be all around the floor. Bathrooms lack hooks, thus one ends up leaving all the change clother on the toilet seat.
Modern, relaxed hotel, easy access to the Ramblas and other tourist attractions.
We liked the convience of the location and the style of the hotel. We had two single beds instead of a double.Corridors were a bit too dark.
Garden, location rooms and cafeteria are not clean enogh
the location and the free wi-fi computers in the rooms were super.
The location was fantastic.
Staff was unfriendly, no coffee/tea in room. You have to purchase a 20$ buffet to even go into the cafe. They won't sell you a cup of coffee. Leaking faucet in bathroom, shower door needs repair. Would never go back. Very little I did like about this hotel. Staff was unfriendly, no coffee/tea in room. You have to purchase a 20$ buffet to even go into the cafe. They won't sell you a cup of coffee. Leaking faucet in bathroom, shower door needs repair. Would never go back.
Shuttle service from BCN to the hotel was perfect. Hotel was elegant and very quiet. Restaurant and bar also provided great food and good service. Hotel staff were both friendly and efficient. Would stay here again if needing a convenient hotel near the airport!
Good design good finishing close to the airport good breakfast bad shuttle service after 12 hours flight one should be able to book a shuttle, we took a taxi for the return to the airport the shuttle was full for space would have had to take a shuttle one hour earlier than required????? If you have a busy hotel either increase your shuttle frequency or don't offer the service
The airport was very clean and visibly labeled. It was easy to find my way around. The staff are helpful. There was varieties of food and shipping options. i liked how modern it looked. I can't wait to visit this beautiful country again one day.
The airport shuttle. The room was lovely too. They also have a shuttle into Barcelona.
Bed was comfortable with great linens. The room was comfortable and quiet. Service was disinterested with the exception of one employee who was helpful. Food was expensive and poor to inedible. The location was extremely difficult for someone not familiar with the area.
Close to the airport with a free shuttle. Modern clean facility with upscale bar and restaurant.
The front staff and the bistro/grill staff
Generalky good to stay tgere.breakfast was so nice.
The hotel was quiet, beds were comfortable and breakfast was excellent. I noted that many hotels in Barcelona had reviews indicating that 3 person rooms were paid for, but that upon arrival they were charged extra for this. This did NOT happen at the Barcelona Airport Hotel, the price I agreed to pay was exactly what they charged me! Also, the staff spoke English and were very helpful in getting me transportation to the cruise ship the next morning. It cost 11 euros each, but they handled the luggage and got us to the ship at the earliest point that we could have boarded. Recommend that you sign up the night before to avoid any delays. The staff recommended this to us the day we arrived and this was most appreciated. We found out later that a taxi would have cost us more, so go with the hotel shuttle! The breakfast was a bit expensive, at 15 Euros, but about average from what I could tell on line.
The rooms were tastefully done, very quiet and the beds were comfortable. The hotel entrance was attractive. Shuttle to airport at 4 a.m was on time. Registration staff was very competent and friendly. Everything seemed quietly luxurious and well-done After having spent three weeks eating at little bistros and restaurants in Madrid and Barcelona, we found the found the food a bit bland at the hotel's more casual cafe. As with most hotels, BAH could look at implementing small bumper cushions so that the room doors do not make such a resounding clunk when they close. The noise of other doors being closed was the only noise that was at all intrusive.
The hotel shuttle runs 24 hours a day which is sort convenient if you have an early flight to catch. Rooms are clean and AC was great. . The outdoor pool was very nice The AC in gym room wasn't strong enough and made itroom feels like a hot yoga room
Good location in the middle of the eclectic pulse of Barcelona, a matter-of-fact, most of city's buzz is right in the hotel lobby bar. Design trying to hard, instead could use a good hard cleaning.
hotel should be mostly for gays. There were many straight couples, guess they did not know they arrived in a gay hotel. looks like too many straights for the gay community, to many gays for the straight guests. I am gay but this time the mix was not good. Check in lasted forever, they write you a guest pass by hand, it takes forever... worst check in in my life. Hotel was not able to provide service to print out my online boarding pass.. what a shame. I did not feel anything of the original gay concept, I felt they just sold out the hotel to anybody just to make money ( whats ok), but this was not my axel hotel from some years ago. It was just a very busy hotel and not sure if the value for the hotel was very good this time. Just my opinion.
Location is best. Hotel is pretty upscale. Aesthetic. Pleasing to the eye. My credit card was charged before i checked in. Made the resrvation in euros. Was charged in dollars at a rate of 5% higher than what I would have gotten on my credit card plus commission. Was asked to sign a cr card slip that said I was offered a choice of currencies chose dollars and my choice was final.
The rooms had a comfortable bed and pillow. The rooms were clean and modern. The bathrooms are spacious and well maintained.
We checked in with Daniel in the front, who was AMAZING. He is so sweet, attentive, and adorable. We couldn't stop talking about what a gem he is. He gave us tipa for our stay, offered to print out our tickets to La sagrada familia, which were ready for us as soon as we went downstairs. We really enjoyed the customer service here it was the best received in our entire trip in Spain. Beds were small but that's normal in Spain
The staff was wonderful. The room was sexy and comfortable. The location fabulous.
The room was beautiful and the staff helpful and friendly. The location was central and all sorts of transportation are within walking distance. We were lucky to get an upgrade to a room at the front of the hotel which have beautiful stain glass design balconies. We stayed when it was a little cooler in the evenings. The bathroom design is open and therefore when you finish showering you get cold a little quicker than you would in a closed off shower area. However this is for such a short duration it should not deter you from this great hotel. I would without a doubt love to come back here!
Marisol! And the rooms were stylish. Rooms smelled of cigarette smoke.
Location. Great roof deck. Got a good rate online for a Premium Deluxe room. It was nothing special - not premium or deluxe by my standards - very basic. When we arrived, needed to use the toilet facilities - no toilet paper in the large one on the 1st floor - went to dining room to inquire for paper or another facility to use. Was given napkins for the restaurant to use.
AIt's a gay hotel but 'hetero friendly' me and my wife stayed with a group of friends and didn't feel anything strange. Friendly staff, great location, nice rooms and good value for money. One of the reasons to chose it was the spa, but it cant be called a spa. 1 Sauna, 1 steam bath and teh pool and jakuzzi were not functional, some dirty stagnant water in the pool and we didn't use the spa after first trial. Also the minibar was nnot filled regularly and the room was not cleaned properly.
I liked the location and modern style of the hotel. It is in easy walking reach of the centre of town and the roof terrace with its swimming pool gives excellent views of Barcelona The wireless internet connection in my room was non existent which was very frustrating and the two computer in the reception area always had a several people waiting to use them
Room was very noisy. Could hear ladies talking in room above and constantly heard their high heels walking around above. Outside noise was very loud. Housekeepers in hallway very loud talking early in the morning every day. Room was stained and furniture showed signs of wear. Great location. Great lobby and hallway design.
Location is great, near all touristic attractions. The staff was very friendly Cleaning of the bathroom . The spa facilities were somewhat disappointing... Cold water in the spa-pool and not very clean.
Very large and quiet room We ask for a non smoking room but according to the smell it was not
we loved it being just off the pl catalunya, we loved how quiet the hotel bedrooms were, we liked the size of rooms, beds and bathroom, it felt very spacious. we had a lovely little balcony out to a quiet back street-not all rooms have these.we had a great time and will be back to the catalonia ramblas. the spa didn't offer very much in the way of treatments, so we didn't use it as planned.
The room was plenty of space for my family. The location is very strategic to do tourism in Barcelona city. The loby is very small and he room service is not full of options.
The location is amazing and the rooms are very clean and stylish. we could not check in until 3pm eventhough I asked for early check in. They did however take our luggage. I did not like the bed spread it was really uncomfortable and scratchy.
Cleaning - exceptionelle !!! I was with my 9 month child, (stressed about cleaning) - and it was perfect for me !!! I liked to have the option: with or without breakfast because we wanted to have it in downtown... and thanks for the tea and coffee from the room, free of charge .... Special thanks to City taxi because they come back to the hotel and returned my wife handy lost in the taxi !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nothing special to mention...
Every thing about Barcelona Nothing all ok
staff were most helpful and the location was very central
Location is great, near all touristic attractions No complaints
restuarant Pelai coud be more attrativ with priceoffer in the evening and more visibel to guest from the street-it is too quiet.
Excellent City centre position
Excellent location just off Placa Catalunya, around the corner from Las Ramblas. Quite expensive.
Location, breakfast In improved number there was no promised dressing gown and slippers
Great location, but you pay for it. Rooms were tiny.
Excellent location and very friendly personnel. Spacious suite rooms. We stayed at two rooms. In one of them, the air conditioner did not work properly. We reported the problem, but it was never fixed.
The location of the hotel is great First of all the check in time is too late and the condition of the rooms is poor. It is not a 4 stars hotel mutch more like a 3 stars hotel.
Friendly stuff, nice room and bathroom. No indoor pool, top floor room rather noisy at night due to rooftop machinary.
Service was good. Breakfast delicious. The douche worked badly, it was very noisy. And doors worked not good, as after taking a shower, there were water on the flour everywhere.
location very central, pool area a nice relaxing feature front desk staff not very knowledgable about the area, events, etc. Having to move mid-stay du to a flood in the room above us was an inconvenience.
the location is excellent. no iron provided. kinda of difficult for business traveller. also the hotel seems dated.
excellent location The Hotel needs to be updated, slightly over rated.
The staff was very very rude and none professional It actually put us off from the start The hotel is well located and deserves better employees All over Saturday was great The reception from desk employee
it was very close to one of the main the train stations and the view of the montjuic palace. Some of the furniture was broken. There wasnt any facilities in the room for a hot drink.
Location in immediate proximity to the central rail station with direct service to the airport blesses any enterprise. The desk is covered 24 hours and a taxi to the airport if necessary is not too expensive. Rooms are clean. Beds are firm. Staff is friendly. Prices are modest. What's not to like? Catching a flight needs no surprises.
I really liked the staff; the were very accommodating. The room was very clean. Excellent location. The food, at least breakfast was not very good. Bacon was not drained. The fruit was not very fresh......
Very noisy at night. Not very restful. My only complaint about the hotel
Comfortable clean room close to Metro into the city. The noise from a building site beside the hotel that went 24/7.
Localization and the room The price of the breakfast
Close to train station A little run down.
Fast organisation on the reception, full information, kind porsonal In my room the floor was without covering.
Exellent location, Small rooms and view from balcony
Expo Hotel Barcelona is a 4star totally "purse friendly" hotel very close to the Barcelona Sants central railway station. The hotel is easly joinable on feet (less than 5 min walk) and is startegically placed between two subway stations (Barcelona Sants and Tarragona). It is very clean and confortable and rooms are very well equipped. You will receive your own bathrobe and slippers. The building itself may not be very stylish but all considered it is a very good choice for a short stay in Barcelona.
The room facilties They dont have room service!!!
Location close to the subway Staff was rude. Poor quality. The worst quality of beds. I still have back pain from sleeping there. It felt like if I was in a motel
Located in the heart of luxury shopping area, one block from Gaudi's two residential masterpieces on Passeig de Gracia (Le Pedrera and Casa Battalo are a one minute walk away, one to the left, one to the right). There is a 24-hr 'pharmacy' w/in 1/2 a block, and the on-off tourist busses stop adjacent to Le Pedrera (red line). Every person who worked at this hotel is absolutely wonderful. (Happily held our luggage until a room was ready, gave us access to their beautiful breakfast/lounge ((we declined breakfast as we wanted to start touring a sap but it was truly a 4-star spread, like a Ritz Carlton or similar class.) ROOFTOP BAR IS AMAZING - try a Martin Miller Gin Tonic (one of 8 different gin tonics offered), 360 degree view with glass "roof" will stun you), tapas list was great. ROOM was modern, blow your mind luxurious. Our 20' balcony faced the street (rm 901 has floor to ceiling glass with a huge balcony and electric blinds... The wall above our king size bed was also glass, all the way to the ceiling creating a 6x8' glass wall 'headboard' which also created a wall of glass above the tub in the bath room, letting the spectacular view and light flood into the entire bathroom, with a electric shade if you wanted to lower it....). I seldom photograph a room, but I tried this time because it was so spectacular. Great robes, slippers, nespresso machine, huge glass shower. We absolutely loved it - would love to move in forever. I hated to have to leave and hope to go back for a longer stay. Note - this area is totally safe 24 hours a day and this would be a GREAT place for a woman travelling alone - this is a GREAT location. Entire staff, EVERY person, went out of their way to delight you.
the best part of our stay was the polite staff and location of the hotel. However we wrer very disappointed with the cost oft our stay as we felt due to our very late arrival on Tuesday 26th October we felf we should have got some compensation/ treat or even a discount on the total price. there was no kettle/ tea making facilities for the us in our bedroom, that touch would have been great.
the overall readiness of the staff to help...restaurant girl was amazing and receptionist could need some help...he is extreamly fast and nice but he is human...sometimes theres too many customers at the same time...room service was excellent... size of my room...no sofa...appart from that all was amazing...
The hotel is quite old fashion, not renewed, not always clean. Rooms are small and essential.
Nothing Bathroom was dirty with ingrained dirt around the bath. Also the bath did not have a plug and the washand basin was very badly cracked. Bedroom floor was not swept properly and bedspread was marked. (Sheets and towels were clean)
I liked the fact that the metro was directly across the road and the hotels proximity to the city centre. The room's were very nice too. I think the hotel rooms could really use more pillows.
Quality 4 star for a 2/3 star price for the night we stayed. Per above prices increased 3 fold by the end of the week so we had to move on. Location. While this was fine the directions for non drivers was poor. eg it said it was 4 stops on the Metro from the Centre - it was actually 5.
The room was very small and rather poorly equiped. No fridge. Poor internet connection.
Location, cleaniness There were no 4 star hotel facilities: No refrigerator,No tea/coffee maker,No safe box( you need to pay 5 Euros per day for that which is not announced in the hotel or booking.com websites) ,No even clock in the room! .The swimming pool is the smallest I have ever seen in my life ; it is 3 by 3 meters dimensions only.
The food was first class and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good for the beach. The hotel was a long walk from the old town which may not suit all, and the choice of restaurants locally was limited
Great staff from the bellman all the way to staff at the front desk, staff who cleans the room to the bar and staff at breakfast. no complaints everything at the hotel is excellent
Excellent location. Friendly professional staff. Recently refurbished excellent rooms with good amenities inc Bulgari Restaurant on the lower level is a bit bland but good quality. Ok for breakfast but Go out for dinner
The hotel was under renovation, lots of noise and disturbence during the day.
Staff were friendly & efficient.Excellent location.Breakfast buffet was extensive & varied.
The staff at the hotel are fantastic - from the minute you step out of a cab to when you check out you feel pampered and cared for. The concierge was excellent in their food recommendations. The only drawback was that everything has a cost. The coffee in your room is considered mini-bar and is a charge.
The location was great but the room was very small, very dirty, with a small windoow just facing another building.....The staff very rude... Didn't care about the guest, and the breakfast was for a 2 star hotel, not 5 star hotel
The rooms were very nice and the location was great. Check-in did not go smoothly at all. Our rooms were not ready for several hours and we did not get into our rooms until speaking with the manager.
The hotel is in an excellent location for travelers who need access to both the port and the airport. The surrounding streets offer dining for every taste.
The roof bar was fantastic
nothing in particular...thought reception and particularly breakfast dining areas were below par for a 5 star g.l hotel.....expected breakfast eggs etc to be cooked fresh not left on buffet...no a la carte offered see above............refused to give free internet in room despite info on booking conditions
Excellent breakfast selection of food and drink. Very comfortable bed and good quality bedlinen. Public areas very well furnished with a lot of interesting artwork and flower arrangements. Well located for metro, bus route, sightseeing. Rooms do not have a facility to make a hot drink for yourself
clean room . the hotel has a great location. we had to pay for a connection for electric.
location and cleanliness of the room
Location is excellent.
I liked the design of the room, its comfort and all the facilities they had in it, breakfast, information pack and maps of most visited attractions in Barcelona and around it hand out during check-in. Also, the location of the hotel itself as it is situated in Las Ramblas.
good location overprice, poor room facilities, room was cleansed poorly
location is perfect the rooms are small but comfortable enough
Perfect location, extremely clean rooms and public areas, delicious breakfast buffet, amazing staff and very comfortable beds. Occasional road noise
The location could not have been better. The staff was quite helpful and spoke English very well. The hotel was expensive. The location accounted for much of this, but at these prices, the hotel should have been even nicer.
Reception staff were very helpful, the men especially, the first one we met on arrival was not very good !, everyone else was very good, cleanliness was excellent, would definitely stay again next time we visit Barcelona. On 2 Reception staff on arrival were not very efficient and tried to charge me for the deposit I had already paid.
All the interiors are designed superbly. Room was clean and comfortable. Service was friendly and professional. the breakfast buffet is expensive, but very good. Air conditioning of my room was quite noisy, even if turned at the minimum.
On the first day upon arrival we used the Spa in the evening to chill out and relax which was great. The rooms were perfect, receptionist staff were very helpful when required. The negative aspect is the food service menu looked expensive along with the drinks at the hotel bar and items in the room bar - crisps €2.50?Nearest tube was about 15-20 mins on foot.
Everything was really perfect. The hôtel, the breakfast, the employees, the situation closed to the nice supermarket, the SPA, the Swimming-pool! Absolutly my best hôtel in Barcelona.
Very comfortable. Lots of nice extra touches. A great place to stay.
Very nice clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast was nice and rooms are roomy, comfortable and modern. Good location - large shopping centre directly behind the hotel, 5-10min walk to metro, 15min walk to nou camp stadium One of the employees working at the spa was very rude and unhelpful
shower staff hang up on the phone
fantastic rooms... chic, comfortable, spacious.
nice atmosphere &design location is a bit away from metro
It's almost perfect! Room, breakfast, facility, everything is very good, however it locates a bit far from metro station. (But there is bus stop near the hotel.) If we can use spa and pool facility without extra charge, it will be further good.
Well positioned for Camp Nou visit. Very friendly staff. Pool on rooftop could possibly have been heated. This is a marginal comment.
too noisy. the windows were not good
location was good and it was clean and friendly
Great locattion of the hotel ,ideal for sightseeing(close to Plaza de Catalugna)Nice breakfast Although I did ask for a quiet rooms, we got the rooms overlooking the main avenue. No double glazing so very noisy. Also the daily cleaning of the room was quite basic. One door of the cupboard came out of the sliding door and although I did mention it to the reception, it wasn't repaired until we left.
Nice hotel. Clean and not far from the center. poor wi fi signal in the rooms.
Breakfast was great. Location was great, near placa universitat. Room was clean and big enough for two people. I would use this hotel again.
Check-in time took a long time............and air con did not work.
Helpful, friendly staff. Comfortable bed. central location Room facing the street very noisy, but transferred us to another, much quieter room on request.
Room was recently renovated and was large by European standards. Room was extremely noisy due to the busy location and the fact that the finishing around the window was not completed. There was gap around the window for air and noise to flow through.
The location was central. The hotel is still under the construction. It should not be open to the public yet. There is a smell of cement and paint throughtout the hotel. Some of the corridors are not carpeted, just the basic cement is on display. The staff are obviously very new to their jobs and it took us ( a group of 9) an hour to be checked in. There is no pool or sun deck as described - this again is currently being built. The room I was allocated first, was overlooking the construction of the pool and there was a jack hammer going constantly so I was moved to a room in the front of the hotel which was slightly better but still beside a very busy and noisy main road. This hotel even when finished will not in my opinion warrant 4 star status. The rooms are small and cramped and its location (beside a main road) really lets it down.
Excellent service. Great location Construction is still going on. There're no room safes and no pool
Staff and room Housekeeping which deserve to be fired! This wonderful hotel and remarkable staff does not deserve this housekeeping
Design of rooms, colors, very modern. Bellman very helpful giving us directions on how to use the metro efficiently within our limited timeframe. Breakfast buffet excellent. Would have liked a face cloth, better instructions on how to use the safe, kleenex in the bathroom.
The staff were extremely patient and helpful, including the hotel restaurant staff. Outstanding service. It is a bit far from the city center. There is nothing to see or do around the hotel.
The hotel was convenient to public transportation and the airport. There were not enough options for dining.
modern luxururious design, very helpful attentive staff, just a little too far from the centre of barcelona. the mini bar prices were too high.
The location on the beach was fantastic. Many restaurants within several blocks. Bus stops right in front of hotel. Staff is very accomodating. I was disappointed the Spa sauna and steam wasn't working, although I had excellent massages there. Also, had stayed at one of their properties on the beach in Valencia (Las Arenas) and that spa was fantastic. So was hoping the Nixe spa would be similar but it was much smaller.
Everything about the suite on the 25th floor great views.. Thanks Roberto for the room upgrade it was worth it... Suite and the views...
more internet corners, ability to drink cafe at the ground floor at morning
Thanks for all staff 1- I didnot find any resevation at any restorant at hotel so am so sad for this. 2- I didnot find a reservation at masage . 3- quality of food it was poor and my eats came coold
great design and comfortable bedroom. The hotel is close to metro station so easily accessible to central although distant from the central. most facilities usage are not free including Gym and Swimming Pool. Hotel reception gave me the wrong direction to tourist point, stuff are not trained well.
Clean, comfortable, convenient. Good value.
Very clean.bad elivators servis Far from the center but metro close so its o.k
Excellent service and very kind and helpful staff. Tasty styling, nice beds and quite room. The room was a bit dark for people of our age.
The location was excellent, the service was great. The room was large enough to live in comfortably for our two week stay, and well designed. The restaurants were both excellent, and the rooftop pool deck was a perfect place to practice yoga in the morning with a gorgeous city view.
