Pros: The location is awesome. The room and hotel interior were fabulous. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. A stress free place to stay. Oh, and the breakfasts in the atrium are incredible. Would definitely stay there again.
Located 1.3 mi (2 km) from the airport, Hotel Palace offers a great location, putting you within just a 10-minute walk of Palau de la Musica Catalana and Casa Batllo. The restaurant is perfect for a bite to eat, and you can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge or visit the sauna for a relaxing end to the day. Other highlights include an outdoor pool and a health club.
Cons: Lack of enough trash cans in room (only one small one in WC) and this room in particular had a large column in front of the bathroom sink area making it difficult for getting ready in the mornings.
Pros: Perfect location for tourists
Pros: location&friendly staff
Pros: very good location.nice room
Pros: The service was excellent. Lovely doormen too. And the room was perfectly soundproof in spite of the loud location.
Cons: The shower drainage was somewhat of a problem.
Pros: Very clean and the staff was very friendly and efficient. The hotel is centrally located to the main square and Las Ramblas and the fresh market. It was nice to have easy access to the public transportation & site seeing busses outside the hotel
Cons: I think the breakfast should be included with all rooms or more reasonably priced. We did not eat there as it was $18 euros per person and you could get authentic cuisine just around the corner on las ramblas area for less money
Striking modern hotel, opened in 2006, sited in Barcelona's Plaça Catalunya, 20 metres from Las Ramblas, 50 metres from Passeig de Gracia, and 400 metres from Gaudi's Casa Batllo.
H10 Metropolitan is just 1.6 mi (2.6 km) from the airport and offers a shuttle for EUR 85 - 100 per vehicle one way. After taking a dip in one of the 2 outdoor pools, you can grab a bite to eat at the coffee shop/café or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. A rooftop terrace and a poolside bar are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale hotel offer up nice touches like iPod docks and premium bedding.
Pros: The location was excellent, the service was great. The room was large enough to live in comfortably for our two week stay, and well designed. The restaurants were both excellent, and the rooftop pool deck was a perfect place to practice yoga in the morning with a gorgeous city view.
Ohla Barcelona is in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, a 5-minute walk from Las Ramblas and the Plaça de Catalunya transport hub. The Picasso Museum, the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art, and Fundació Antoni Tàpies are all within a 15-minute walk.
Pros: The hotel staff was very accommodating.....no matter what the questions...they went out their way to make everything wonderful. They helped us find our way around the city. The taxis were at strike one day and they made it possible for us to still make the tour we had planned for the day.
Pros: The staff at the hotel are fantastic - from the minute you step out of a cab to when you check out you feel pampered and cared for. The concierge was excellent in their food recommendations.
Cons: The only drawback was that everything has a cost. The coffee in your room is considered mini-bar and is a charge.
Pros: Excellent location. Friendly professional staff. Recently refurbished excellent rooms with good amenities inc Bulgari
Cons: Restaurant on the lower level is a bit bland but good quality. Ok for breakfast but Go out for dinner
The Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona, - housed in an imposing neoclassical building on sophisticated Paseo de Gracia and the city’s most emblematic hotel -, has just finished its 2 year and 25 million Euros complete renovation process. The building’s original architecture was preserved, creating an eclectic & timeless style with top quality materials, colour coordination and natural light. The new 275 rooms - of which 42 are luxurious and spacious suites facing Paseo de Gracia - and the nearby 28 apartments called Majestic Residence, offers the new perfect luxury stay in Barcelona.
Pros: Comfy room with lots of room for two single travelers. Double sink vanity and two wardrobe closets made it easy for two friend to travel together. So close to Las Ramblas, the Metro, parks and the port...perfect!
Pros: They were great customer service-wise. Helped me store my bags while I was in an interview and provided me access to the spa after I had technically checked out. Overall, a great experience.
Pros: Close to sights, literally across from the cathedral. A short walk to Las Ramblas.
Cons: Dated Decor. The room while spacious and comfortable has not been updated since the 80s (the the bathroom was renovated). It appears some rooms are renovated while others have yet to get the treatment.
Pros: Great location in the old city
Cons: Next to a church where the bells chimed every hour -- through the night! Room was old and tired with peeling paint and smell
Pros: WITHIN EASY WALKING DISTANCE OF EVERYTHING IN THE GOTHIC QUARTER. A NICE, CLEAN HOTEL WITH A SIDE WALK
CAFE' FACING THE CATHEDRAL. WHILE WE WERE THERE A FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL TOOK PLACE RIGHT OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR. THE HOTEL WAS QUIET DESPITE BEING IN THE HEART OF ACTIVITY. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY.

Cotton House is in the former headquarters of the Association of Cotton House Manufacturers. The iconic building is in every way representative of the XIX century, a period which has marked the spirit and culture of Barcelona. The hotel has 83 elegant and comfortable rooms, of which five are spacious suites. The entrance of the emblematic building is a beautiful vestibule covered in mirrors, followed by a hall which then gives access to two stairways: one, a grand marble staircase, and the other, a spiral staircase built in the 50's that received much acclamation among experts in architecture. The old noble areas of the building contain an elegant library, several great rooms and lounges where the bar and restaurant are located, a luminous glass conservatory and a 300 sqm terrace with lush vegetation. On the sixth floor there is a serene exterior pool, a small gym and a massage room.
Cons: The bed was far below the standard expected, The air condition system was noisy.
Cons: They put me in a very lousy room with lots of noise from the fan with no views. Problems were not solved at all and I had 3 sleepless nights with no compensation.
Pros: The staff at this hotel are extremely nice and helpful. The concierge was very helpful in guiding us for daytime activities and making restaurant reservations. The rooms, views and grounds are also amazing.
The staff could not be more accommodating, helping us plan our tour of the city, The attention to detail is evident everywhere we looked.
Pros: service was superior, rooms and beds were all i could expect
Cons: Breakfast for two was $100 at the buffet.
if you have access to the concierge lounge make use of it. They change the food selection 4 times / day. Great Tapas and a full breakfast. The staff have intimate knowledge of the local dining scene and all their recommendations were hits.
Pros: the hotel was extremely comfortable and the staff was very attentive without being intrusive.
Cons: No,nothing took me by surprise

Cons: No seating around pool, perhaps make an area upstairs near pool with pool beds , opening my window is dangerous as you can fall out onto balcony below. I put a cup of water into floor drain in bathroom to stop smell from drain, this should be done weekly
Pros: Best location for tourists, 1 min away for the Rambla, near everything.
Cons: Fungus in the shower at some part.
Pros: The location!
Pros: The hotel's location is amazing! Right on Paseo de Gracia and close to Casa Batllo as well as a short walk from Las Ramblas. The price is amazing!
Cons: The rooms was comfortable but a little old, the showers tiles could be changed as well as there was no robe.
Pros: hip yet comfy decor, comfy beds, impeccable location, fun rooftop bar!
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.
Pros: The location was within walking distance of many attractions, and close to the metro and taxis. It was perfect.
Cons: Street noise at night can be a little loud.
Located 2.1 mi (3.3 km) from the airport, Hotel Condes de Barcelona offers a great location, putting you within just a 10-minute walk of Casa Batllo and Casa Mila. After splashing around at the outdoor pool, you can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Also, Palau de la Musica Catalana and Sagrada Familia are within a short drive.
Pros: Wondeful staff, very helpful. Made phenomenal restaurant recommendations and were all around very helpful. The hotel is a very nice hotel where they do a great job keeping clean and very nice. Location is great, walking distance to everything but in a more upscale area so out of the chaos of La Rambla.
Pros: Very helpful staff; rooftop bar excellent; excellent location; beds great
Cons: Rooftop could use a little more seating with tables; maybe a few more waitstaff
This hotel is conveniently located in the center of Barcelona, next to shopping on the Passeig de Gracia and within reach of Barcelona's best tourist attractions and leisure activities.
Pros: An all around great hotel . As soon as you get there, will see that it is a nice building from the outside... probably the tallest hotel in that area which allows you to have good views when you go to the top floor. I was greeted by the friendly and professional staff, that checked us in quickly.
The hotel is located conveniently by the metro which was great to get anywhere in Barcelona.
The staff was helpful and answered any questions we had. They assisted us on how to take the metro with the most simple route possible.
The wi fi was solid too, great connection and quick. I would definitely return next time!
Pros: The staff including the daily cleaning services.
The quietness in the room especially at night even though the hotel is in a busy place.
The design of the bathroom.
The way the lights work in the room which can be adjusted if one person is sleeping and the other is not.
Cons: Only 15 minutes of computer time at the business center
Laundry services are ridiculously expensive. Self - operated washing machines and dryers will enhance your reputation even more.

Pros: The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. I stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is in an upscale community near the University. Very close to metro and first stop in new metro line to airport. Views were great from club level.
Cons: The hotel is not to walkable to any tourist attractions.
Pros: Great service and amenities; very nice breakfast buffet
Cons: AncI'll are service for conference room use very efficient but expensive...
Pros: Convenient and excellent service for business meetings/conference
Cons: Not sure of value for business conference meeting expenses. Quite high for incidentals....but service was excellent !
Pros: We loved the friendliness of the staff! The hotel lobby is super luxurious and beautiful; the bar is especially stunning and has quite a crowd in the evening time!
Pros: Bathtub was lovely.
Cons: Carpet was threadbare in the room, hard as a rock. Bed was hard and uncomfortable, sheets were rough. The only dinner option in the whole hotel was to eat on the carpet in the middle of the lobby. The windows don't open, no fresh air anywhere. Shower had no space and no light. Couldn't wait to check out, would never stay again or recommend to anyone.
Pros: The staff is incredibly attentive and polite.
Cons: What a disappointing stay. The only five stars this hotel can claim are the ones that are printed everywhere by the hotel itself.
The lobby and the gym are the only two things worthy of attention.
The rooms are small, dark, rundown and begging for a complete renovation. Since the year of built this hotel has not been updated. The heavy and old decor needs to be completely replaced and the rooms require deep cleaning. The beds are hard as a rock and you can hear the mattress springs squick when you turn around. The pillows are uncomfortable and they still use woolen blankets instead of comforters. There are almost no amenities in the room. Not even a spoon or complimentary water. The towels are old a rough on the skin. The showers leeks water everywhere because of its poor design. The phones don't have a directory and they don't provide a phone list [how are you suppose to operate the phone?!?].
The wardrobe opens in the entrance and blocks the way out. There are almost no outlets in the room not even near the desk to the bed. The hotels does not provide any plug adaptor, only for purchase... Can you believe this?
The Hotel had just been purchased by Fairmont Group. They are promising significant changes, however I will probably wait to see other customer's feedback before giving this place a try.
Room Tip: Ask for an updated room. It makes night and day.
Pros: The hotel is very big and has all the facilities
Cons: The rooms are a bit outdated and the beds are not comfortable for a 5 star hotel
Pros: Beautiful location, professional staff.
Cons: Run down. Faded glory from the 90s. Bed was as hard as a rock.

This unique urban resort is located on the prestigious Avenida Diagonal and surrounded by major attractions such as the famous Camp Nou stadium. With 395 guest rooms and 37 suites, as well as impeccable service and unrivalled amenities, The Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I offers guests an exceptional experience in Barcelona.
Pros: Unique Space Theme keeps kids and adults entertained. Rooms were well laid out and comfortable. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast was excellent, cost 15 Euros, but so good that we ate there twice during our 3 day stay. Staff was VERY helpful in getting us where we needed to go on our short post-cruise stay in Spain.
Cons: Every noise in the room was heard by everyone, including the rest room and shower. An exhaust fan of some sort would have helped with this and would have ensured the shower was not also a sauna. Also, there was not much privacy in the shower area, so everyone had to turn around when each of us got out of the shower to dress. A privacy curtain would have helped with this.
Pros: Everything was awesome, the location was superb, the metro is under the hotel and there is Taxi station right when you exit the hotel, the tour bus station is one block away and there are alot of restaurants in the metro station like MacDonalds
Cons: I liked everything
Pros: Location over the main train station.
Cons: The theme is stupid, childish, already dated and slightly confusing rather than the attempted "cute".
What dope thought that this was a good idea and PAID for the execution?
This is the perfect location for a classy and efficient business hotel and instead they put up an amusement park that isn't amusing in the slightest.
