Fun vibe. Friendly staff. Liked the location.
Cold! Really bad pillows. Terribly leaky shower that you had to use a mop for to stop leaking into the room.
Great location and staff! Enough room in the kitchen for multiple cooks. Nice rooftop terrace, secure lockers
Beautiful old house. Good, free coffee every day. Wonderful recommendations from extremely friendly staff!!
Absolutely amazing location I can say after staying in BA for over a month. The building is an old-style building, very charming both inside and outside. First we got a "standard double room" that wasn't up to par with the photos in the album here, and we wanted to switch room which was no problem. The upgrade was huge. We got a much larger room, with a balcony overlooking the streets and it made our stay so much better. I only saw two rooms, but I think also those two might be the ones with biggest differences as the first one was the only room ( I think) on the first floor without balcony and it was kind of dark and not so nice. Staff is always super friendly, very helpful, good energy. The atmosphere, energy, location and also the building itself is what I think makes a stay at this hostel a really good experience. Don't expect anything super fancy in the rooms, but it is for sure charming, comfortable, and for the price you pay - you can get a lot of value. PRO TIP - if you want to have a good night, go two blocks up ( if I remember correctly), hit up the shawarma arabian restaurant for a shawarma or falafel ( sooo good and cheap) and end the night with medio kilo ice cream from Nicolo Helados on the corner on the other side of the street from the hostel. BA's best and cheapest ice cream. ENJOY!
Well, to be honest the bathroom could've been cleaned better - we saw hair on the walls and on the floor in both the rooms we stayed in. But it wasn't anything alarming.. But there's room for improvement here for sure!
The location was great and the staff were fantastic. Very helpful and always up for a chat.
The place can be kind of noisy as the sound travels from the courtyard up to the rooms. Also the fan/aircon from one of the neighbouring rooms was very loud and shook through to the room i was in.
