The staff was nice and it was easy to get to the airport.
Tried two different rooms, both were moldy and the blankets were damp. If you have any respiratory issues or allergies to mold you should probably avoid. Wish we had just stayed in the hotel zone since there were rooms only a bit more and they were on the beach. Probably shouldn't walk barefoot either. The carpets were old and matted down and felt dirty.
Nice pool and courtyard. Airport shuttle, flight information and scale for baggage were very helpful. Good food in the restaurant.
Thin walls and heavy doors made it hard to sleep with people coming and going. The quality of the restaurant was good, but wishes there was more variety. There are no other food options without taking a taxi.
When my flights changed we were stranded in cancun. I jumped on the free shuttle to hotel 5 min from airport. Overall experience was great nice pool nice hot breakfast included good coffee nice staff great business center
The room we were given was 1st floor w an adjoining room door( i was not stoked on that for safety reasons) it was just myself and my daughter so when i discovered the window lock was broken (late into the night) i was uncomfortable with the safety. The pool was beautiful but they are adding a very nice hot tub so the jack hammering was a bummer. It will be great when it is finished! if the window was secure it would be a 5star visit for us!
convenient if your flight gets in late, free airport shuttle, newish hotel, reasonably good breakfast buffet included in hotel price, nice garden with swimming pool that the kids will love. And overall good value for the money
The hotel was clean but the carpet was still full of other peoples hair, so many that you could see it on a dark blue carpet. If you are expecting a unique touch or experience this might not be the place for you. The hotel and it´s decor is tried-and-proven corporate Marriott non-descriptive design and architecture that could be transplanted anywhere in the world. Then again some people might consider this safe.
Convenient location to the airport. Clean room.
We needed a place to sleep, shower, and relax since our flights in/out of cancun from the U.S. were very early/late. Our primary destination was playa del Carmen at an all-inclusive resort.
Confusing entrance but we found it ok.
I liked that I was able to get a reasonable rate at the hotel at the very last minute. I was supposed to be staying in Isla Mujeres, but arrived later than the last ferry to the island.
The Marriott actually could not locate my reservation from Kayak. So when I arrived at 11:30pm I had to wait about 25 minutes while the front desk person investigated (and while 3 other people groaned in line behind me). The other issue was more of a problem with the Cancun airport, but it was not very straightforward how to get the FREE hotel shuttle and when myself and the other guests waiting tried to call the number to the hotel we were unable to get through.
Very convenient and clean for a quick stay next to the airport.
Very relaxing after a long flight before a long drive to the Riviera Maya. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on
The fact that the hotel didn't accept US Dollar$
Complementary water in room.
The phone number on the sign at the airport didn't work, and didn't mention that the shuttle comes every half hour so we waited and worried about whether were in the right place.
Close to airport free shuttle Service Nice and comfortable room nice pool area and nice restaurant.
The hamaks neer the swimming pool are poorly maintain, don't attempted to seat on them.
excellent hotel all around. if you have time, you might want to use their beach club facility with shuttles departing at 10 and 12 Otherwise they have a relaxing pool surrounded by greenery
the hotel is in an area where there are no other restaurants
The room was clean.
As a single female, I did not feel safe.
