Pros: Anything you need at any time. Staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Best food in the DR. Top shelf liquor and awesome, clean beaches.
Cons: Everything was wonderful. No complaints!
Pros: Exceptional service, very good food, clean, scenic and beautiful. Not too many other guests (unlike two-deep chairs around pools at other resorts) but enough so the resort didn't feel empty. Great experience overall
Cons: Reserving pool chairs//beds has turned into everyone dropping towels ~7-8am and often times not coming back until the afternoon (as backup there are plenty of beach cabanas). Restaurant reservation system also a bit frustrating, we often had the last possible time of 9pm even scheduling 2 days in advance (buffet never disappointed and 24hr room service was also good)
Pros: The resort was very clean, well maintained and beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly. The seafood buffet was a favorite.
Cons: We had difficulty making dinner reservations for where we wanted to go, and getting convenient times. In hind site we could have emailed for advance res. but we had no idea that was an option. Or that it would be necessary.
Pros: The staff is second to none. They are receptive to your needs and are very friendly.
Pros: Great food relative to other resorts in DR.
Cons: Some of the bartending staff were snarky.
Grand Hotel Bávaro’s hotel complex is located in beautiful Punta Cana Beach, in the Dominican Republic. Bathed by the waters of the Caribbean Sea, designed for an exclusive tourism seeking luxury vacation.
Nestled on the beach, this Punta Cana Beach hotel is 0 mi (0 km) from La Cana Golf Course and 2.7 mi (4.3 km) from Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park. Cap Cana Puerto Marina and Corales Golf Course are also within 6 mi (10 km).
Cons: BAD FOOD, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE HAVE TO CHANGE ALL THE EMPLOYEEES,
Cons: The elevator was broken and they said it had been for almost 2 months, the jacuzzi button was broken, mini bar was never refilled unless we called.
Pros: Spa service was exceptional. Bars have a good selection of drinks, and the bartenders were friendly. The staff in general was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Bag delivery and delivery service could take a long time.
Pros: Nice rooms and a great beach.
Cons: The food was mediocre at best. This was disappointing.
Pros: The beach experience
Cons: The family environment. The vast complex and how far everything was. The culinary experience.
Pros: food was ok. the view in really good.
Cons: the cleanliness of rooms are really poor. at night is very noisy even at the rooms. the room service is always late (after 2 or 3 hour after your request!!). Attention by the staff is really bad.
It is not worth the 5000 to 600 per night at all. you can find several hotels all-inclusive in the area with much better service. I think they have sacrifice money by attention as they focus in large number of people. I felt like a code bar , there ins't personalize attention as you expect for that value.
From exhilarating music to authentic memorabilia, innovative signature restaurants to electrifying public spaces Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana is redefining globally what a luxury destination experience can be
Pros: Beautiful, clean resort. Friendly, helpful staff. Our amazing butler named Francisco was the best! The restaurant by the beach had the best breakfast and lunch buffets. Adults only is the way to go for sure. We had an awesome swim up bar with a great bartender named Michael.
Cons: Beach was beautiful and clean but every now and then solicitors would disturb you from your relaxation to try to sell to you. I was approached various times while trying to tan or nap on my lounge chair. Definitely tacky and disruptive. Resort should put a stop to this.
Pros: Good Facilities
Cons: Quality of food
Pros: What I really loved, getting away from the Chicago cold in the middle of February. It was SO relaxing. The staff who made it extra special were Ossiris, Billis, Juan, and Juan Carlos. There were activities every night, mostly delicious food, and the dance club is hot--for like an hour, but it's a really hot hour. The omelette at The Hispanola are great! Between the Bali beds and the beach huts, you can get your fill of sunshine relaxation time. Drinking whenever and wherever you want, but if we go back, it'll be in the late summer when it's less expensive.
Cons: It rained a little bit almost everyday that we were there. Our room was one with a "garden view," so no view at all, but close to the beach. No free transportation into town. If there was even a cheap shuttle that would have been preferable. Cabs are expensive.
Pros: Great rooms
Cons: Staff very nice but didn't listen sometimes

Pros: - The fact that our Villa was only 20+ yards from the beach
- a la carte options were alright (3-stars)
Cons: - The staff was not that helpful nor welcoming. We understand "island time" but staff did not seem willing to help on anything from booking reservations for the restaurants, to discussing excursions. Only people who wanted to really chat were the ones trying to "sell" you on their private club membership.
- Buffet options were horrible (1-star)
- We booked 'Esmerelda" when it was Adults-only, specifically because of that reason, however when we arrived we were notified it was family-friendly as of May 2017. No notification was sent prior otherwise we would have rebooked.
The previous reviews from travelers is what got us excited to book and stay at the Luxury Bahia Principe - Esmerelda however after a week at the resort, it left a lot to be desired.
Pros: Immaculate resort that caters to its customers needs. Excellent food, excellent service, and very friendly staff.
All other hotel operators should get a lesson from Bahia as to how to run a hotel.
I will definitely recommend it.
Pros: Great customer service
Cons: A little too Americanized
Pros: Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was not luxurious but extremely pleasant and tasteful as well as quite roomy. The food was great. I booked two restaurants but ended up eating my meals at the buffets which had spectacular selection, presentation and taste.
The beach is gorgeous- couldn't get enough!
Cons: The Staff at the front desk was not very helpful and sometimes, depending on who you spoke to, not very patient. I was a first time guest, not familiar with their protocol but they acted as if i should know what to do and where to go.
I would have enjoyed much more "island music" as far as the entertainment. Not that much to do at night in my location, which was Esmeralda. I walked to other areas but did not find much else. either. I would have loved more opportunity to dance to some live music.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Loved the small intimate size of the resort. The staff is top notch and bent over backwards to please. Has an European feel and the food was good. Fusion restaurant experience was over the top.
Cons: Wifi in lobby was spotty, not much to do at night. I felt pressured to tip. No real beach but lots of pools. We paid for ocean view and only saw a tiny peek of one. I would return and recommend it to everyone.
Pros: Everything outside the room. the food, the atmosphere, the entertainment and staff was absolutely excellent!
Cons: Lack of quality control in the room. no coffee maker, lack of water pressure in bath tub, multiple failures with housekeeping (not leaving towels, not coming at all, taking my robes and not returning them), and room service was spotty with incorrect orders.
Pros: Love the staff! Specially Santo the chef!! Excellent food. Scarlett the best housekeeper . She is excellent . All the waiter & bar attended Magnificient .
Pros: Beautiful, romantic
Cons: electrical didn't work in our room in many outlets
Pros: Most of the staff was great, particularly bar staff including Martin at the Love Bar. The room was nice and accurately reflected "ocean view." The pools were quite pleasant including the main pool with swim up bar.
Cons: Food was very mediocre. More entertainment is needed as well if to compete with resorts in the other islands and even US resorts. They should have more air conditioning in their bars, lobby, typically sweat in these area from lack of it. Even in the restaurants the temperature could have been cooler.
Pros: The place is very secluded and is not currently near other resorts so it was very private and relaxing. The staff there is amazing! Everyone is so nice and eager to assist you in any way. I do recommend that you take plenty of Tip Money (apparently cash is preferred because that is the only sure way you'll know they got the tip. No guarantee by just adding charging it to the Room). You will definitely appreciate the amazing service.
It was also Seaweed, and every day they cleared the shore of seaweed and would haul it away so that guests could enjoy the beach.
This was a 5-Star relaxing Stay... Loved It!
Cons: I didn't like that Wi-Fi was not included with, but at least there is an option.
Pros: Great location, perfect to get away and not be bothered by crowds.
The property is just big enough and everything is easily accessible.
Everything is well run and organized.
The food we found to be excellent.
Find Carlos at the Castle bar for the best drinks on the property.
Cons: The only issue we had was our A/C slowly dying throughout the course of the week. Someone came to "fix" it, but it wasn't really fixed. This made the last night there some what uncomfortable, but we were on our way out, so didn't really make a big deal of it.
Pros: Pro: Very quiet, relaxing. Good food.
Cons: Con: Beach had heavy seaweed
Pros: Beautiful setting, great facility, cheerful and friendly staff who go above an beyond to make you feel welcomed and attend to your every need. They also were very sweet to our 4 y/o daughter. Food was decent and multiple restaurant options offer variety. The public beach just next to the resort is also beautiful and worth the short walk/golf cart ride (the hotel staff will give you a lift).
Cons: Despite requests from the resort to not "reserve" chairs at the beach and pool, particularly selfish guests would put towels down on the well shaded chairs by the pool and beach before heading to breakfast. Often they would finally show up hours later. Many guests didn't bother to remove their wet towels when they left their chairs so it was difficult to tell which chairs were taken and open.
Pros: The Service
Cons: Beautiful Resort
This luxury resort is located in Cap Cana (Punta Cana), close to Cap Cana Marina and Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park. Area attractions also include Punta Espada,Corales, and La Cana Golf Courses.
Pros: Our stay at the Magestic Elegance was truly unforgettable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The service for Elegance Club members was amazing. We could not have enjoyed our honeymoon more!
Pros: This was for our honeymoon and it was extremely relaxing. We enjoyed everything from the room, the food and the location. However the staff really made us feel welcome more than anything. Evelyn was the sweetest lady and helped us with our Spanish which was really cool and made us want to come visit with her everyday. The whole crew was amazing as well. Just to name a few that went the extra mile were Yahaira, Alberto, Black Barbie, and Franchesca. They were excelente!! Also their were a couple guys that did a paddle board yoga session with us and they were hilarious and a lot of fun but unfortunately we forgot to write their names down so now I can't recall. Overall though we would definitely recommend this place it was an awesome experience. Spending the extra money for the exclusive membership is worth it as well because the place is rather large and it's nice having your own butler and desk to help you with booking reservations and excursions. Their was only one restaurant we weren't huge fans which was Sea & See but a lot of others liked it. Just wasn't for us I guess. We loved the food everywhere else though and the drinks were always coming and very delicious as well!
Pros: The beach front area had plenty of seats and the beach itself was beautiful.
Staff was friendly at all times.
The food options were good and with a variety.
They had day and night activities to offer so there was always something you could do if you chose.
Cons: One of the pools was drained and out of use so the first two days we did not use the pool because the other pool was full which was really annoying.
Dinner reservations to specific restaurants could only be made in person so it was an inconvenience to have to go to the front and worry about something that could be easier if you could call from your room.
They have an unnecessary policy for beach towels that I have never experienced at another resort. It's like a trick because they know someone is bound to lose their towel card and incur $25.
Wifi was spotty and unreliable at times.
Pros: The people is excellent
Pros: The staff was great and made the vacation enjoyable!! We especially enjoyed Dergis Doroteo who took extra good care of our large group. He was so much fun that our group of 20 went out of our way to go see him at least once a day. The staff puts in extremely long hours and how they can stay so happy is amazing.
Cons: The food was hit or miss at many restuarants. Our group was large and some people had the exact same dish on separate nights and experienced great food to poor for that exact same dish.
Pros: The staff was first class. From the moment we arrived until we left, the hard working and polite employees were always there for us.
The facilities were well maintained and very clean. There was ample space to find a place to sit.
Cons: The lunches had mass produced cafeteria taste to them, filling but not very flavorful. (This was not the case at dinner, the sit down restaurants were amazing.)
Pros: From ever person we passed going/leaving D.R. we seemed to have the best experience at this resort compared to other all-inclusives. We were on our honeymoon and the first room we went to had some problems. After going to guest services (way too many times, unfortunately) they upgraded us to an amazing corner room. One thing we did not know was that you could pay with US dollars everywhere on the grounds and didn't need to exchange our money. We'd go there again, but would consider paying the extra money to be part of the elegance club.
Cons: If it is your first time to an all inclusive there are plenty things they do NOT tell you upon arrival. Don't feel bad going to guest services with questions. It is their job to make you feel at home and satisfied with your visit. We went several times to be sure we got the room service we requested and paid for. They finally got it right our second day there and it was worth asking questions.
This beachfront property is located in Punta Cana a white sandy beach surrounded by astonishing landscapes all Jr Suites & Suites with jacuzzi adults only section available offering the Majestic Supreme Service
Pros: Great room and facilities. Outdoor jet bathtub. Nice beach and pool facilities. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good drinks.
Cons: Food wasn't particularly good.
Pros: Where do I start? Well, from the first step that I took at this Resort, we were immediately greeted with a "Welcome Home". We were offered refreshing towels with a mint scent. Reception was fast and friendly, the welcome team "Carlos" gave us a little tour around the Resort while pointing out everything. The hospitality level at this Resort is top notch, everyone you see and encounter will greet you with a humble smile....by the way the resort has this amazing way to answer you on how they feel..EXCELLENT... By the pool and bar area, Ana Luisa, Jeffrey, Ruben and Elias are an amazing team. The entertainment team will make sure that you have an amazing time as well, Big Papi, Tequila, Blacky and Grupi are full of contagious energy. My hat also goes off for my favorite Bartender "Antonio" at the Preferred Lounge. Antonio will costume make any cocktail or drink of your choice with amazing skills and hospitality...the best Michelada and Old Fashioned ( with Rum) at the resort. And if you need an answer to any questions or solutions to anything, fell free to ask Romylenis or Josefina at the Preferred Lounge. Thanks Josefina for helping me and my lady overcome the anguish we had when we miss our flight.
Pros: The staff was great. We had a great time.
Cons: The Buffets were good and the flavoring was ok, but we from Minnesota have had better.
Pros: Clean resort.
Buffet restaurants are very good.
Staff is very friendly.
Cons: Resort did not pay any attention to bed preference. All 3 couples in our group requested king beds and all three were placed in rooms with 2 separate double beds.
Lighting in the rooms is terrible, you cannot see anything in the mirrors.
Drinks are watered down (including white wine) and drinks at the pool bar barely have any alcohol in them.
Food is terrible anywhere except the buffets. Everyone on our trip experienced stomach issues at some point in the trip.
Located in Bavaro, this beachfront resort is next to a golf course and within 2 mi (3 km) of Jesus Maestro Parish, Cocotal Golf and Country Club, and Palma Real Shopping Village. White Sands Golf Course and Dolphin Island are also within 6 mi (10 km).
Pros: Everything. Hard to find anything to complain about. Spa was absolutely delightful. Enjoy the food, especially at Passion. Staff was very friendly and informative.
Cons: Everything was great.
Pros: The Reserve and surrounding resort are absolutely beautiful. The room amenities can't be beat: jacuzzi in the room, hot tub on the balcony, double shower, living area, dining area, awesome a/c, free mini-bar. The food was pretty good, but as a vegetarian there were hardly any options. They were very accommodating and would make me veggies, but there was little variety. The staff was awesome and would go out of there way to serve you. The beach was gorgeous and came with ample amounts of beach towels, little catamarans and wave boards to rent for free, comfy chairs, lots of shade, and plenty of booze. All and all it was a beautiful trip and the perfect place to stay while my husband and I were married at the nearby Jellyfish Restaurant.
Cons: Bring small bills for tipping :)
The Reserve is a luxurious boutique resort located in Paradisus Palma Resort just 25 minutes from the Punta Cana Airport and right in front of Palma Real Shopping Village and Cocotal Golf Club.
Pros: The Spa was great!!! My husband and I purchased a couples massage and it was awesome.
Cons: It would have been nice to have been able to get food at the pool bars rather than having to go to the main buildings where all of the restaurants, inlcluding the 24 hour snack bar was located. We were a decent walk away from these and it was annoying to have to go so far for just a snack. At times, some of the bar staff was rather snooty too.
Cons: If I have only one critic it will be for the casino staff, only place in the resort where for some reason the staff absolutely not friendly,
Pros: Upon arrival, the staff was helpful, polite and always willing to help. Our room was very clean and maintained every day. We had a jacuzzi on our balcony with a great view of the beach. Food was good, a little repetitive , but you can always find something that you liked. Overall an amazing stay...
Cons: We were able to use the pool at the Bavaro Beach side but they would not serve us any drinks or let eat at the buffet.
Pros: Great facilities, beautiful setting, lots of fun activities available.
Cons: The food was absolutely terrible, both at the buffets and the a la carte restaurants. Most of the time the food seemed to be extremely dry, as if the food was pre-cooked and were sat under heating lamps for hours. The staff also seemed to be generally miserable, sometimes unhelpful and unfriendly. We were also left without toilet paper for an entire day, after the cleaner neglected to restock the bathroom. A lot of our calls to concierge also went unanswered or were redirected elsewhere to no avail. Also the lack of changing stations in the bathrooms throughout the resort is quite an inconvenience. We are a young couple with a nine month old infant, and having to go back to our room to change the baby is quite a task, as there is a lot of walking from the restaurants back to the rooms in the family section of the resort.
Cons: horrible internet service
would not return there because of it
a lot of good with no taste
Pros: We like the facilities for little kids. Family friendly, you have to walk (but we do not mind) they have 2 trolleys that pass every 6mnts.
the personal is nice, it could be nicer the one in reception but they are ok.
They help me to prepare the Happy birthday of my grandmother with music and the cake, that was the extra mile :)
Cons: The personal is nice, it could be nicer the one in the front desk but they are ok.
I know that the hotel was full, but every customer is important. Beside the monologues of yes and no (with any additional information) everything was nice.
Pros: everything is nearby . local is new.
Cons: room service is not good . and towels too old. 0ne day they only give our one towels for 4 peoples.

Pros: Friendly staff and a beautiful pool and beach.
Cons: The food was pretty average to mostly bad, I didn't care for it.
Housecleaning was very inconsistent on towel replacement.
The living room TV broke, they promised to fix it the next day but I never heard from them the rest of the week - oh well.
The staff was really pretty friendly overall so that was positive
Pros: The pool, the beach... beautiful view but definitely not a 5 star hotel
Cons: mean people at the front desk, long lines, the bedrooms smell like humidity, a guy trying to sell us open bar at the night club and ending with a bullshit night club full of kids for 100/800 for couple.
Pros: Aesthetically nice, staff are friendly
Cons: They overbooked, so it was a very disorganized check in

Pros: Everything about our stay was great. We actually secured a villa in Santo Dimingo, and decided to spend New Year's eve in Punta Cana at the last minute. We saw the reviews for Catalonia Resort on another site (4stars), and decided to book. EXCELLENT decision!!! They had a great New Year's eve show w/ entertainment, followed by dancing w/ a great DJ!!!
Food, beach, staff drinks, and all-inclusive format was a TREAT!!!
Cons: Rooms are somewhat dated, however, offset by other pluses!
Pros: The room was clean and had a nice decoration. Comfort bed and spacious room. The food quality was very good and good variety as well. The Steak restaurant was great. The staff was very nice and helpful but very relaxed, they were not harassing you. We felt very relaxed. The surroundings of the hotel are very nice with lots of birds singing and fishes... Very natural and relaxing. Check inn and check out were very easy.
Cons: The beach is full of algae as all of the other beaches in the area due to the problem of El Niño. Very sad as this area is known for its beautiful beaches. But this is not a something the hotel can control. It is a general problem. I talked with a service manager from Cap Cana and he told me they have the same problem there for almost a year now. What I did not liked from Catalonia was a terrible odor that comes from the water they use for sprinklers on the green areas and gardens. I don't know what kind of water they use but is smells awful.
Pros: Loved the staff, they were all so friendly. The variety of food was very good too. We loved the cleanliness of the beach, we were in the "Privaleged" area, but I feel if we didnt go with the honeymoon suite it may have been a different story.
Cons: Cleanliness of the room was disappointing, and they never cleaned at the same time. One of the buffet places was terrible, there was always bugs flying around the food. We had a leak in our ceiling at midnight one night, and ended up having about 50 gallons of water that had to be let out in our bathroom so we had to move everything out & we didnt get compensated for any of that. It was frustrating.
Pros: There was so much to do that I couldn't do it all in my trip! The food was really good and there were many places to eat. The staff was very nice and helpful. I spoke some Spanish and I think that made a huge difference. I was there alone and the staff adopted me like I was part of their family always making sure I was having fun and had what I needed. The room was beautiful. I met someone from Spain who had been coming to this hotel 7 years in a row after trying other hotels. I would love to do the same!
Cons: There is a lot of seaweed on the beach. But they have a truck that comes by to clean it a few times a day. It wasn't something that would ruin my trip.
Pros: The Lobby and Restaurants are very pleasant. The food is O.K. but not exceptional. The staff is very nice. Even though I have certain complaints below, I would still recommend if you are in a tight budget as the rooms were clean and in a general pleasant stay.
Cons: It was impossible to get a hold of them prior to my stay for a clarification even though I tried on many occasions via phone & email. We also requested via booking.com that all 4 rooms be located together and they had us all spread out in different buildings I assume because they were separate bookings. I had to wait over an hour at check in before they came up with something a bit more acceptable. Primarily I think because one of the rooms was for my 87 yr old mother and they had her clear across the other side of the hotel. There were other minor inconveniences. There was also constant loud music in the pool area with a rowdy crowd. Not sure if this was an exceptional weekend or they cater to a rowdy crowd.
Pros: Tidy room, hospitable staff, good bar and lounge, nice entertainment, tidy rooms. Very good restaurant with superb selection of meals.
Cons: The beach was very shallow.
Pros: The staff was very sympatic. The food was great with a lot of choice. The room was nice.
Cons: The show in the evening was boring
Pros: surroundings were loving, cascading water sounds, very nice
Cons: walk to reception was long, wifi did not work in villa
Pros: A really excellent hotel, the buffets were lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful and the resort is right on the beach. There was nothing not to like about this resort. I would definitely return.
Cons: Some of the amenities in the room were beginning to look in a state of disrepair.
Pros: Complete heaven after spending 3 days in Santo-Domingo. Staff is friendly and non-intrusive. Almost everything is already in the price, including cocktails.
Cons: We heard from others that sometimes valuable things like mobile phones get missing. Hotel provides safe in the room, use it and then you will not have to worry.
Pros: The room was very nice, the beach too, food - good, prise - excellent!
Cons: Never give them your clouthes washig and pressing for! And ask the room far away from the evening activitis playses - impossible to sleep :)
Pros: Very nice gardens, very testy meal, the value for money is exelent!
Cons: Attencion!!!! Never give them your clouthes for washing and pressing - they spoiled my wife's two evening dresses! Make reservation throug the booking.com the local price is higer for 25%

Pros: Amazing resort, but hands down the The staff definitely made this experience amazing! Super accommodating, eager to go above & beyond. Took my boyfriend for his birthday & he felt like a king. Jose Minaya was helpful the entire trip, he showed us around, was our personal driver & on the last day he even surprised us with a bottle of wine. On my boyfriends actual birthday while we were at dinner, the maids came in & decorated our room with rose petals, balloons, & set up the jacuzzi with bubbles with champagne waiting! Beautiful surprise. Out by the pool, we met Domingo, who was so friendly & escorted us to a personal bed by the water. He brought us drinks & even offered to bring us food. The property itself is beautiful & the experience was great, but hands down the staff went above & beyond! Very grateful
Cons: Need More vegetarian food options at dinner

This Uvero Alto resort is on the beach, 11.7 mi (18.9 km) from Macao Beach, and within 20 mi (32 km) of Punta Blanca Golf Course and Cana Bay Golf Club. Iberostar Golf Course and Jesus Maestro Parish are also within 20 mi (32 km).
Cons: Typical bait and switch. Apparently we were told that every single room near or walking distance to the beach was not available. This was the case even though i booked six months ago. They literally put us in the last building on the property. The LAST building. It was even past the reception (or before if your coming off the street). It was like almost next to the street. This is ridiculous.
When i spoke to Arnaldo, whom i was told was the manager (yet i saw no identification) he could offer nothing to help. No solution. No discount. No hope. My mother (who has never been to punta cana) is very upset. The hotel expects us to wait 10-15 to take a train to the beach (which is a 10 minute train ride away). If he really was the manager, he didn't solve anything. I am so disappointed at this experience. We are paying over $1,200 USD for 2 nights and this is what we are getting for it. Please avoid this hotel at all cost. If they actually act on it after i post this i will let you all know.
Electricity went out on my last day. Some drinks were not included (therefore this was not all inclusive).
Cons: Nothing negative to say.
Pros: Everything about it, food ws great, Staff ws excellent, especially Eleena from the dinning room, she ws great
Cons: Can't think of anything , looking forward to my next trip In October
Pros: many fun activities
Cons: old facilities, need renovation
Pros: I loved the property, the room, the pool, the beach, the shows and the staff. I also like the privacy of the property and the beach. I liked that I was not bombarded with people selling or wanting to braid your hair, etc. which truly made it a very relaxing vacation for me. I would recommend this property to all!
Cons: I didn't like the food that much. I thought the beef and pork were very tough at most places on the property. The only place that served tender pork was the Asian restaurant (ribs). I also wished that there was more spanish food offered. I did not like that I could not have avocado or maduros being in the Dominican Republic.
Nestled on the beach, this Bavaro resort is 1.5 mi (2.4 km) from Jesus Maestro Parish and 1.5 mi (2.4 km) from White Sands Golf Course. Cocotal Golf and Country Club and Iberostar Golf Course are also within 6 mi (10 km).
Cons: Sound from the hallways and other rooms was very loud from within our room. There were employees going through service doors in the middle of the night waking me up.
