Pros: People are very kind but unable to speak English, therefore the communication was difficult.
Cons: The cottages are old, basic accommodation and basic bathroom. Windows and doors are not good to prevent the mosquitoes to come in. A/C was okay. Best for local people, we were the only westerners there and attracted many children / people, even vendors would come and knock on our door !!!

Pros: Beautiful resort right down to the sea with lovely views to the Sunda Strait and the volcano Krakatua. Mutiara Carita Cottages has well-kept bungalows and apartments. There is plenty of space in the area between the buildings and lots of palm trees. Lovely swimming pool and a restaurant with good views. I was greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff. A good experience for me to stay at this place.

Pros: the place really make we are comfort, harm and charmy

Pros: You could see the beach. Could spend time with family. Brings back memories from when kids were younger. Remember how nice it used to be.
Cons: There was a gate surrounding the beach to keep out sellers but it also kept guests from enjoying the beach. Facilities didn't seem to have been refurbished in many years. TV is old. When we asked the house boy if they still barbeque fish for guests, he said yes but made it seem like extra work and so we didn't ask.

Pros: This is a great place to stay if you want a secluded place away from traffic. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
Cons: Don't stay here if you want to be close to everything else - it is set apart. Our room didn't have hot water.

Pros: Tranquility. Yes, we felt it once we arrived at the hotel (not cottage). Food is tasty and affordable. The seashore is safe for children to splash splash with waves and seawater, though, it is not that long, still, children are soooo happy... The swimming pools offer another excitement for kids and adults as well as the playground.
Cons: Delayed check in because the room was not ready. We had arrived 2 hours before the check in time, but then, when we came to the reception desk, they said, we have to wait for about 30 minutes.
