fairly, well appointed rooms, nice, large bathroom. Location is right on the main promanade, close to the shops. Our room was in the back so it was quiet, don't know what it would be like in the front of the building. The breakfast was ok.
Incompetent and rude front desk upon our arrival, spoke no English or German; they had no parking for us even though we requested it on the reservation. Proceeded to tell us that we did not tell them about the parking reservation and directed us to a hotel, 20 min walk away, where we could park and pay more than the rate quoted in the reservation (and on their website). After being shown the reservation with the parking details and complaints from us, they arranged for parking in another hotel about the same distance away, for the remainder of our stay.. To their credit, they paid for it. The hotel had not hot water between 7-9 AM and 7-10:30 PM; we were told there was a "problem" and to wait for 10-15 min. which turned into hours.
Situated in the Town, absolutely perfect .
Very poor english knowledge. Parking with car,not was really easy.
The rooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms were beautifully appointed.
My only criticism is that not all the receptionists spoke good english resulting in confusion when settling the bill
Liked the location, the room was great with nice balcony overviewing the street, nice big bath and floorheating in the bathroom, big bed (deluxe double room)
Small breakfastroom was full, wanted to eat with four so receptionist wanted to offer seat outside in 10 degrees asked the receptionist to give us a ring in the room, but after 30min checked ourselves and plenty of space no call from reception. Poor selection of breakfast most of it gone at 9.30 asked for scrambled eggs but that was too much effort for the cook so it did not happen
I like the luxury environment, the quiet street, and the view from the Hotel. I like that near the centre of Karlovy Vary downtown.
I do not like that the stuff speaks very low level English. I could not explaind a lot of thing. I hated that the wifi did not work. Today a luxury hotel must have working wifi.
Great bathroom with a wonderfully large bathtub to soak. The room was very classic in decor, elegant and comfortable. THe staff were very helpful and accomodating. The location was right in the center of things making it easy to walk to wherever we wanted to go. The hotel restaurant served very good food at reasonable prices.
The wirlpool sauna room was dissapointing.
The hotel is new, comfortable, situated in the center, has a good cookery.
The work of waiters should be improved. This hotel is lacking in descents for perambulators.
Excellent location, very clean, very comfortable.
the hotel must put up signs in town like many other hotels indicating where they are located. many guests cannot find the hotel and yet once found, it is a great place to stay.
No tea making facilities in the room
