The hotel was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Really good value for money
very comfortable bedroom
no english programme on tv. very expensive meals in the evening
The room was beautifully decorated and waiting staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.
The solid wooden floors made the hotel noisy, with the clatter of footsteps along corridors and in bedrooms. I'd recommend earplugs if you're a light sleeper.
It was easy to find and, an ideal stopover for the Santander to UK ferry service. This could be a good promotional point, for the english language newspapers thatare published on the Costa Blanca!
I wasn't too sure about what constituted breakfast, which we had pre booked!
Most outstanding was the staff's friendliness and their attentive service. I've stayed in at least a dozen spanish hotels and have been to numerous bars and restaurants. This one beats them all in that respect. Personally I don't like the rococo style, but I'm not going to argue about taste. I rated the location as good, because I was traveling and needed a place to stay the night. The hotel is located a few km's from Burgos, which makes it very convenient for a stop-over. Definitely money well spent.
An ideal location for a stopover. Easy to locate, no need to tour the traffic ridden streets of a large town. Different and delightful.
Reasonable overnight stop close to main routes through Spain to Portugal and France
The television switched on in the restuarant during evening meal did not lead to full enjoyment of the meal or relaxation after a long day on the road travelling.
