Pros: The location is perfect. The beds are super comfy. The wifi and bbqs are a bonus. The owner is super friendly and informative. And it was family friendly for a young family with a 1&4 year old. Can’t ask for much better!
Cons: The only thing that would make this place better is a pool but we spent our time at the water park and cavendish beach so it didn’t bother us.

Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, facility was fine for the price, in a high demand market. Large fridge.
Cons: Our complaint is the fitted sheet on the beds did not fit well, sheets are slippery and would not stay tucked in, made for an uncomfortable sleep.

Pros: The room was quite large and very modern. It also had a large fridge, microwave, a toaster and a coffee maker with ground coffee and filters. Unfortunately only powdered whitener was available, but otherwise we would have brewed some. The beds and bedding were clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for a floor mattress too. The bathroom was clean and the towels were super soft. Oh and little propane bbqs for each room across the deck! It was a lovely stay!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: It was a quiet location and the area was good. The cottage was comfortable and met our needs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was just off the main road, close to everything but still very private! All the amenities were super close! The cottages are beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub by the pool. We had a wonderful stay and are looking forward to our next visit.
Cons: Nothing, if anything sharing the firepit with the camp next to us was rather annoying but we didn’t end up using it anyway.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Cute little cottage with everything included! Also it’s close to all the attractions
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very central location - close to PEI National Park, Cavendish Beach, amusement parks, Anne of Green Gables house. Wonderful manicured, treed, shady grounds. This is a major difference compared to other cottage properties. Most have no trees or shade at all. In the summer the wonderful mature maple trees provide shade to your cottage and play areas (four playgrounds!). Common amenities including a clean, safe heated pool and hot tub, horseshoes, fire pits with free wood were very welcome.
Cons: Nothing - everything met or exceeded our expectations
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quietness of the area, the friendliness of the staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The cottage had everything we needed. It was also away from the main road/highway in Cavendish plus surrounded by trees so it was very peaceful.
Cons: The pool wasn't open but I understand.........the weather wasn't great and I'm sure the management wouldn't want to heat the pool for just a few people. We visited in June.

Cons: Twin bed room, beds were very hard. Shower/tub tiny. Powerbar or more outlets.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The house where our room was situated was lovely. The room was fine, the bed comfortable. But... no one was there to greet us, We had to go through the adjacent campground to find an office where we were signed in and given key. The next morning, the breakfast was in the campground cafe which was deplorable. There was one girl to take orders, she did little else, we had to wipe our own tables, there were flies everywhere, we had to pick up our orders from counter and were then told we had to make our own toast around corner (by which time our food was greasy and cold.)
Cons: The fact that we were not informed about the above.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything about it. Wish I could have stayed longer. Service was great, very informative.
7.0 Good
Pros: The Inn we stayed in was clean, cool with the air conditioner and nice. Really comfy place.
Cons: The Inn was part of the big camping area. The breakfast that included to the reservation was served in the café of the whole area and was the only weak part of our stay. Everything was served in plastic, there were nothing fresh to eat and the café was obviously in a need of renovation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else
Cons: There is no pool and there won't be one in the future this is a big disappointment I have stayed here many times through the years and ranked Marco polo number one this is a big concern everything else

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place, central to everything!!
7.5 Good
Pros: Love the location. Love the pool and love the common area in the middle. .
Cons: The bed and pillow were very uncomfortable, and you’re responsible for cleaning the bathroom and main area. We were there for 7 days and aside from changing the towels and sheets, nothing else gets done. Some of the staff are really good, especially the lady who works evenings, but the younger staff at the main office are very oblivious to customers. I was trying to get information about Cavendish from one lady and she couldn’t look at me in the eyes since she was busy texting. Overall, 6/10 or 7/10. A bit pricey for what you get, but the location is amazing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, one floor motel, room 10, large, double & single bed, full kitchen with cutlery, dishes, pots, coffee maker (no coffee/tea-bring your own-coffee available in office after 8 am), toaster, full sized fridge, table& 2 chairs, TV, AC, free wi-fi (weak in room), TV(cable channels), stocked bathroom with tub/shower, chairs outside room to sit, breakfast on own. Bed & pillows fine also. There is also a pool (heated), BBQ's (2) for guest use, didn't use either, no time. Great location next door to restaurant, across the street from PEI Liquor Agent, grocery store, fresh seafood shop, beaches & other sites.
Cons: Didn't bring my own coffee so had to wait until 8 a.m. when the office opened. Just bring your own coffee, easier.

Coffee and tea available all day. Small room but quaint... all we needed as we were on a motorcycle. Met great people from all over at breakfast and it’s central to so much to do. Awesome stay and would certainly return.
Cons: Fitted bottom sheet as I roll too much in bed... not a major issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good. The staff could not have been any nicer.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the living room which was very comfortable. Also the waffle was just yummy at their very nice breakfast.
Cons: The room was very small and the outlet at the head of the bed was not accessible.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at the Inn and it was the kind of place we like to visit. Made us feel right at home. A country home similar to the house my husband and myself grew up in - but with a modern take. All the modern amenities were there, right down to the pool and a breakfast that anyone could fine something to eat, even if they are gluten free or vegetarian. With real dishes and cutlery, not the plastic kind. What more could you want!
8.3 Excellent

Pros: The lady at check in(sorry didn’t get her name) was very helpful with local touring information and her homemade cinnamon buns for the continental breakfast are not to be missed! We had a wonderful water view and the central location on the island makes nearby scenic drives most convenient. Wish we had spent 4 nights there instead of 2
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff made everything right. Smiles, kindness and going the extra mile. We will surely be back again! Thank you for allowing us to extend our stay and make it so great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gail and Donna took such good care of us. They answered numerous questions as we were visiting PEI for the first time. Breakfast on the patio was so good. The croissants are delectable pillows of butter and goodness! Eggs were cooked to order (minimal extra charge). We will most definitely be back.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location great! -- Would be nice to see more local fruit in season at breakfast.
Cons: Most everything was great. The pictures on sites do not do this beautiful place justice. Our only complaints, the flow of the air conditioner pointed right into a bed, therefore, preventing inefficient use of the unit and the bathroom was very, very warm. The days we stayed were also very warm.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great area, good facilities. Friendly staff. Kids loved the pool and hot tub
Cons: The hotel was very loud. Sound traveled throughout the halls and floors. Breakfast was minimal, toast, muffins and canned fruit salad.

Cons: Inn at the Pier was great!! Close to everything you'd want to see and do.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great friendly and helpful owners.
5.8 Okay
Cons: We found out that breakfast was at 9 am. That is late for guests travelling the island. We chose to leave and breakfast elsewhere to make the best of the day. So cannot rate the breakfast. An earlier time range would be preferable. The host's wife suggested that most guests do not stay for breakfast. That is telling and it was supposed to be a B&B!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a traditional B&B serving an excellent breakfast and giving the opportunity to mix with the hosts and guests at that time. The location is an ideal base for visits to Ann of Green Gables points of interest. Scenic country surrounds and very clean room with comfy bed.

Pros: Great location, friendly staff who responded to a couple of things quickly.great location and bungalows are nicely spread out.
Cons: The bungalows are very dated and the price is steep for this standard of accomodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient to shopping, restaurants, beaches and attractions. Within walking distance of a nice little shopping area featuring local artists and crafts along with eateries for the family. Green Gables was clean, quiet and family-friendly. The staff was always quick to accommodate.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location, lots of entertainment for the kids (pool, playground )
Cons: Cottages need to be renovated, especially the bathrooms. Deck is pealing and the sofa bed is a really uncomfortable. Too small for a family with two kids.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenience to all attractions. Cute factor. Felt homey and cozy. Great pool! Kitchen well stocked with all necessities.
Cons: Cottage exterior needed attention - some sprucing up would help (broken porch boards, paint on porch and trim). Neighbors outside playing music till midnight several evenings.
6.8 Good
Pros: The location was fantastic. The staff were friendly. The bed was super comfy. The property outside was well maintained.
Cons: The price I paid for the small very dated cottage. Very old cottages so you can imagine it’s hard to make them look pristine but if you’re not looking for fancy they have everything you need.
4.5 Okay
Cons: The wooden cabin was wood rotted. The floor was slanted 10-15 degrees from end to end.
7.5 Good
Pros: Cute and convenient.
Cons: In need of some repairs and upgrades but in all was okay.
6.8 Good
Pros: Great location and nice pool and playground for kids. Ac unit was nice to have along with a fully loaded kitchen to prepare meals.
Cons: Bathroom and main area had dead bugs all over the place. The pull out bed was extremely stained ( while I'm sure many hotel beds are...keep a fitted sheet over mattress so guests don't have to see it), pillow cases very yellow. The floor was extremely uneven and shower dripped constantly.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The pool is nice. Close to everything.
Cons: Upon arrival, there was mouse droppings all over our kitchen counter. There was no dish clothes to wash dishes, just two large drying clothes. There is no bathtub only a stand up shower. Paint chipping off siding and step. Grass was cut (more like hay) and left on the lawn around cottage so we tracked this inside constantly. I had to ask for a garbage bag, Cabin D fit my family of 4 well but cost $368 per night with taxes :( Times 3 nights= we won't be back. Also, bring your own dishes and cutlery, as guests are expected to wash their own dishes prior to leaving and I'm sure they aren't properly washed prior to next use based on the condition of ours.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: location is great and overall satisfactory
Cons: all cottages appear to require some paint and work.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the house which has 4 bedrooms, a shared bathroom and a bright common area kitchen with a fabulous view of North Rustico. The room was about 75 square feet and very comfortable and quiet. Think of it like staying at the Grandparents in the 1970’s! The breakfast is a simple continental. The owner Dwight is very friends and he will recommend restaurants and places to visit. Take note: If you are looking for 3 star + then this is not for you. If you are looking for a traditional PEI “down home” experience with great location for quick drive to beaches and seafood, then hit the book it button. ✌️
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful
Cons: I didn’t like the big brown beetles we kept finding in our suite.....freaked me out a lot...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great.
Cons: Nothing we like everything.
6.3 Good
Pros: People were very nice but the accommodations were disappointing. We were expecting a cabin but were put into rooms that were not comfortable. The area was magnificent but unfortunately there was little we could do about the rooms.
Cons: We do not believe the rooms were what we had in mind or what we expected.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly Manager and excellent accommodations
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners of the inn were so helpful and made some fabulous recommendations for dinner, (Pedro’s), sunset views, local historic tidbits and “must see” spots to see on the last leg of our journey. The room was in the original family home from the 1800s, but had been updated with a private bath. It was very clean and comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything and will definitely be back... the owners were very attentive to our needs and super friendly!!
Cons: We took the very last room next time we will try the cabins :-)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are amazing!!! So friendly and sweet!! They allowed us to bring our small dog which was great. We stayed in the main house in Room #2 with a mini fridge and our own private bathroom that had a lovely large shower which we really appreciated. Lots of hot water. ** just a note: We found if someone flushes the loo the water gets really hot very quickly. The main house itself would be reminiscent of your grandparents farm house. Rustic and clean but an old house. The breakfast options were great! Fresh, hot, hard boiled eggs, plenty of cereal choices, breads, yogurts, juices, coffee cake, fresh hot coffee...it was really nice! The pool area was lovely as well with a high privacy fence, and it is kept very clean and tidy with abundant seating. No complaints. We will likely return next summer and hopefully a cottage will be available then. Thank you to Dwight and his parents for their hospitality.
Cons: House could use some updating inside. Carpeting tends to hold dust, etc. Laminate or hardwood would be better options imho. Room was a bit crowded. The antique bureau was blocked by a chair and there is ample clothing storage in the shower room so the bureau could go to allow for more space to move around.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The owner gave us excellent advice on what to see and do near North Rustico, and was very welcoming.
Cons: Our room was fine, though the décor is fussy--flowered wallpaper galore! Time for an upgrade! A bit cluttered. The cottages here would probably be great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice rustic room, comfortable bed and big walk-in shower. Good continental breakfast with whole grain breads.
Cons: The short step into the bathroom; forgot about it in the middle of the night.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed at this property many times! I have stayed in cottages and in the hotel. Great location for children and right in the heart of Cavendish. Good value for the money with the breakfast included. I did book through a third party and they charged my credit card immediately, even though I chose the pay later option.
Cons: Pool towels dirty that were given to us.
4.5 Okay
Cons: For the price, the rooms could have been cleaner and the breakfast was also not up to par. The mini fridge was placed on top of the TV stand, it was not fixed and almost fell on my head. Not exactly safe! The location was good.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. The beds were fairly comfortable but they were both double beds and not really big enough for 4 people. We had access to two pools and they were nice.
Cons: I was very thankful that there was a hot breakfast but the eggs were not very good. They were edible but not great. The room sagged down on all corners and so all the furniture was on an angle. When I first walked in, I felt like I was walking into a fun house. ;)
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was great! Close to all cavendish activities, nice pool and very clean rooms :)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was amazing, toileteries provided were excellent, staff was friendly and helpful, location was perfect!
Cons: rooms could be a little cleaner

Cons: Dirty floor Breakfast
5.5 Okay
Pros: The location was great nice and cenral.
Cons: The air conditioner barely kept the room cool. Also half of the floor slanted which made one of the beds difficult to sleep in.
5.8 Okay
Cons: We feel that the complimentary breakfast could definitely use improvement. Fresh fruit instead of canned!! And yogurt too
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beach
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was very greasy bacon, eggs were cooked in something brown.
Cons: Eggs and bacon.

Pros: Nice cottage
Cons: We were supposed to have a room with two twins and a room with a king as there was four of us. We got two rooms with a king instead and a cot. One of us had to sleep on the couch. The next day we decided to leave because of the rain and we were looking for a nights credit and they refused. It was September 28th so they weren't busy. We will never go back. Not very impressed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Having area to sit and read or eat.
Cons: Nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: Great spacious cottages in the nature. Cottages were equipped with everything you need. A barbecue was available on the terrace. Good location for visiting whole P.E.I. by car. Pool and hot tub available on the terrain (but we did not try it).
Cons: At check in and check out we did not meet people who were in charge and therefore did not really know what to do. Cottages are already a bit older. Kitchen was not very well equipped. Barbecue was dirty. Two internet connections were available, but the faster one did not work.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was very cute and the decor was cozy
Cons: Couldn't use the whirlpool tub in the room it filled about a quarter of the way and ran out of hot water. Husband called for maintenance they arrived an hour later saying there was nothing they could do till morning and I quote "What do you expect this isn't a hotel" unbelievable we expected hot water and to be able to use the amenities in the room the main reason we booked this particular room. No effort was made to correct the issue never offered another room or any type of reimbursement, a very disappointing ending to our trip out east :(
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean
Cons: Booked a executive cottage, got there and none were available. Finally gave us another lower level cottage close to 11pm and only removed 10% of price for all the trouble we had
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and comfortable. Near all of the places we wanted to visit! The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice and quiet there too! A great place to stay while visiting the island.
Cons: We liked it all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic staff (shout out to the exceptional, friendly, thoughtful maintenance rep Allen). Affordable, clearly well-managed, clean. Great location. Highly recommend this property. We visited in the off-season, were still treated like gold. It's a short drive for groceries and it's very close to all attractions
Cons: There's really nothing I didn't like.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It would be a great family holiday, remote and very very windy but a good incentive to see the countryside getting there. Should be noted for travellers its a closed town until June, nothing was open at Ann of Green Gables centre at all.
Cons: Remote and windy beginning to end. - perhaps why its called 'Swept Away'
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful experience and would like to come back for a longer stay. Location is very close to the Cavendish Beach and only a 45min drive to Charlottetown. Restaurants nearby were excellent. Really felt relaxed and away from the hustle and bustle.
Cons: It was all fabulous.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Beds were comfortable, rooms size for second bedroom a little smaller than what was shown on Internet, not really the best for older guest. Staff friendly and helpful at all times.
Cons: Needed cleaning, fans windows and frame, bar-b- que, my wife actually did cleaning of areas herself to meet needs. Towels we stained sometimes. Our booked accommodations was not what we expected and displayed on the Internet. We had to upgrade our accommodations to suit 4 adults at a cost of over $450.00. What I saw on the Internet wasn't what we received initially. This was the first time I booked on the Internet and I will never book this way again.
