8.2 Excellent
Pros: Close to the main attractions of Frankenmuth.
Cons: The smell coming from the pool area was awful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food, friendly staff, central location
Cons: Lack of high def tv
8.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I travel a lot. As far as chain hotels go, I find Drury to be consistently great value/comfort for the money. The staff has always been polite and helpful whether it was at the Frankenmuth location, or any other location. I've recommended Drury to friends and family whom have also enjoyed their stays. So, if I'll tell my parents to stay there, I'll tell you to stay there. Can't go wrong.
Cons: The view. That can't be controlled. The rooms are nice enough to not stare out of the windows. Vending machines. All I had on my floor was a Pepsi machine. (I'm a diet coke kind of guy)
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Aging hotel with average breakfast and crowded evening dinner/beverage.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was awesome, room was great. Food and drinks were a bonus!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were comfortable, dinner and cocktail hour was exceptional, and breakfast was a treat. Workout facility was clean, and pool and hot tub a real bonus.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hot breakfast and kickback were great! Staff was so patient and kind even when the place was jammed with kids. Our room was spotless and check in staff were exceptional. We checked in a bit early with two small children and they were very accommodating.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Happy hour appetizers and drinks are a nice touch.
Cons: Congregating in the lounge after 10:00 pm is not encouraged.
Marv Herzog Hotel - Frankenmuth - Building
9.3 Excellent (1,223 reviews)

The hotel is situated right in the heart of restaurants and shopping centers, making it a favorite destination for a wide range of travelers. All of the rooms at Marv Herzog Hotel come with either a single queen bed, two queen beds, or a single king bed. Some of the rooms have a beautiful view of the city while others overlook the river. All rooms come with items that include microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, irons and hairdryers. It's possible to request a room with an oversized garden tub or a private balcony. Upon arriving at the Marv Herzog Hotel, visitors will find many extra amenities to make their stay as enjoyable as possible, including wireless internet, underground parking, 24-hour coffee, complimentary continental breakfast in the morning, and beverages, beer, and snacks in the evening. The hotel also maintains a 24-hour gift shop where people can buy souvenirs, including a CD from Marv Herzog himself, whom the hotel was named after.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the quietness of of this location with our room overlooking the river and not the street. Staff was fantastic. Looking forward to staying here again!!
Cons: Really??? Nothing!!!
9.4 Excellent
Pros: I loved the Marv Herzog hotel. The staff is very friendly. Parking is easily accessible with a covered garage in the back. They give a nice snack and cocktail hour for all guests between 5-7pm. I loved the hot breakfast. Only complaint is the beds could be a bit more comfier but all in all a lovely stay. I recommend room in back overlooking river very romantic esp. when sun is coming up in the morning.
Cons: I did not like the mattress not the most comfortable for sleeping.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the complimentary adult beverages each evening. The rooms were spacious; and all rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors had balconies. Location was prime on Main Street in town. The complimentary breakfast was very good.
Cons: I prefer a "getting ready" area outside of the bathroom, so one person can shower, while the other can do their hair/make-up at the same time. I really can find no fault with this hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, comfortable and quiet (ground floor, front of hotel). Even morning truck traffic on the road wasn't noticeable until after we were awake. Love the underground parking with key card access to the elevator. It makes you feel a little more secure. The lobby area is clean and well appointed with comfortable furniture. It;s nice to have the breakfast in the morning, especially in a town where it seems the only option for breakfast is the fast food joints.
Cons: Not a complaint, just an observation: The complementary breakfast now requires you to pre-order the night before, indicating your selections and the time you wish to eat. I'm sure it's to cut down on waste and expense.

Pros: Staff pleasant. Good location
Cons: No soap in room. Poor breakfast choices. No protein options at breakfast
7.4 Good
Pros: Close to town and shops
Cons: Continental breakfast limited in foods offered. Bagels and sweet rolls seemed rather dry. No protein foods offered I eat eggs Greek yogurt . Still hungry after breakfast so went out to get a second one
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet clean rooms, had a blowdryer, mini fridge, A/C unit, and cable TV ... more than you usually get at a low-priced motel. The staff were friendly and accomodating, we asked for extra pillows and had them within 10 minutes.
Cons: The continental breakfast is pretty sparse, but again - for the low price, I can't imagine they could afford to go all out with hot fresh food items.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great facilities, and very clean, also nice people.
Cons: the sink in the shower bath, drained very very slow
4.2 Okay
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: - Staff was unfriendly - Couldn't sleep. We were on the highest floor and still could hear people on the street, outside of the hotel, talking. In the morning (7am), we could hear the entire conversation from the adjacent room. - Air conditioner is so loud, we couldn't hear the TV - When we asked for an extra hour after the usual 12pm checkout, we were told that the hotel is extremely busy and that it's impossible to accommodate the request. Next morning, the hotel was empty dead, the parking lot had no cars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breatfast was good, the amenities was decent and enjoyable and we had great customer service from the moment we walked in the door(which is huge to me). If your looking for a nice hotel for a reasonable price this would be the one, would definitely come back here.
Cons: There was no tub in the room, would have loved to relax and have taken a bath. (Everything else made up for that!)

Bavarian Inn Of Frankenmuth - Frankenmuth - Building
8.9 Excellent (4,397 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The unique Bavarian Inn is designed to evoke a traditional German country lodge with a working bell tower. The service-oriented atmosphere and seasonal decorations bring many repeat customers to this Michigan gem. Popular with families, this hotel has an extensive network of indoor swimming pools with water slides and hot tubs with water fountains, plus a massive game and video arcade, indoor mini-golf, and outdoor tennis courts. There is also a fitness center on-site, as well as a lounge with pool tables. Nearly every single part of this kid-friendly lodge and retreat celebrates the German heritage of the family who opened it. Bavarian Inn Lodge is adjacent to the Bavarian Inn Restaurant, and both buildings plus a few more owned by the same proprietors, dominate the small city of Frankenmuth. The city itself is designed in imitation of a small German town, privileging pedestrian walkways around the village square and alongside the Cass River, which flows through the town. Around the hotel, guests will find the main strip of boutiques and restaurants. Rooms at the Bavarian Inn Lodge are simple in décor but are named after a German family. The rooms are relatively regular compared to the spectacular German décor and outfits throughout the hotel. Larger rooms are more up-to-date with amenities but all rooms feature the necessary conveniences. The large, family-friendly Bavarian Inn is an unforgettable hotel in an unforgettable town in Michigan. The entire property features cowbells, woodcarvings, oxen yokes, and alphorns. Plus, families and travelers can experience the greatest section of German cuisine and for the adults, German beer.

Pros: My granddaughter loved the pool area and waterslide.
Cons: Nothing- I visited there years ago with my kids and now returning with a granddaughter was just as enjoyable.

Pros: The ornate woodwork and backyard garden area.
Cons: When I book a bed and breakfast I expect a hot breakfast, not a continental breakfast. Also seeing that we had the place to ourselves it would've been nice to stay on the main level or second floor rather then the 3rd floor room we were given.

Cons: The carpet in the room was beyond disgusting. When I mentioned it to the desk their only response was "we will be renovating in Januray" What about the people paying $150 a night until then? Should we have to wear shoes at all times due to the disgusting carpet??

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Fair price, clean, comfortable bed, nice breakfast
Cons: Noise from highway traffic
6.0 Good
Pros: Location was good for our trip needs. Friendly staff.
Cons: The room was 46 degrees when I got in and it was hard to keep the temperature regulated. The sink kept clogging.
6.0 Good
Pros: The beds were comfortable. The room looked really nice. The hotel was under renovations so it was loud in the morning. I don't think house keeping did a real thorough job. I found a a piece of a dorito in the bed. Kinda creeped me out.
7.1 Good
Pros: Pleasant staff at the front desk when checking in.
Cons: I went to get coffee at 9:30 on Sunday morning but the machine was empty. I informed the food service personnel and they said it would be just a minute. Five minutes later - it came out that there wasn’t any ready in advance and that the refill was only half-full. I know this doesn’t seem like a big deal but for $180 a night, I do expect that I am able to get a cup of coffee when I want it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was clean and comfy. The bathroom was clean. My husband enjoyed the hot tub. I especially liked the availability of breakfast. We stayed 5 nights and each morning was a nice variety of food which saved a lot of money. The value per night was great too! I'll definitely use Hampton Inn in the future and recommend them to friends and family.

Pros: staff very friendly and helpful- good food for breakfast!

Cons: Fold out bed was very uncomfortable
7.7 Good
Pros: I checked in on a Wednesday and they had a free beer tasting. One doesn't get to choose their single free beer, but it was still nice to try something new.
Cons: I got the king suite because I read that the rooms were small, and it's true. Their version of a king suite is simply opening the door between two rooms.

Pros: The place is very clean and very comfortable. The beds are fantastic I slept very well. The pool is not typical, it's an indoor outdoor like treetops in Gaylord so the kids had a great time. The service is great.
Cons: The only downfall is there is no breakfast. If this place had an omelette chief on duty in the am it would be perfect.
