The location of the hotel is great. It is right on the beach and there are a ton of bars/restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were nice. There is a tiki bar on the beach with chairs to sit in with umbrellas.
I guess if I had to mention a downside, they were doing some exterior construction on a new outdoor event space so there was construction noise during the day, but you tend to tune it out.
The bed was very uncomfortable
Chairs for being taken up with towels and not people. Also little kids playing in the dogs pool, throwing a football one day length of the pool. Not caring about any other guests.
The location is fantastic. The rooms are really not that great, we had an inside room and we had the view of a roof. Plus for the money I expected more from the room. It looked outdated. But it was clean. I would stay again just for the location which was amazing.
outdated room. The view of the roof outside my window. Expensive.
The location was awesome! The valet service was definitely a perk and the pool area as well as the movies and crafts for kids were wonderful. But the cost of the cabana rentals, the cost of the chair and umbrella rentals were ridiculous. Especially with how far back from the water you end up being. The food was delicious but way to overpriced. Also, it would have been nice to know that the hotel is under construction before arriving. We had been excited to sit and eat on the deck overlooking the gulf, but the deck was closed. Overall great trip just expensive. One more thing, the house keeping staff were fantastic. My son was so excited when we came into our room and found that the staff had "tucked" his stuffed animals into bed when they made the bed. Super cute!
